Dead Poets Society (1989) Recast

Chris Cofler as Neil Perry.  What a fabulous man. He could pull off the dreamer character so well and I’d love to see him in a crown made out of sticks.

Nick Robinson as Todd Anderson. The talent in this man.  I’m realizing my subconscious is casting people who play gay characters, but this guy is fantastic and I love Love, Simon  so much. He could pull off the shy, awkward guy so well.

Ezra Miller as Charlie Dalton. Aka the only reason I’m doing this. I’d love to see him playing the saxophone in the cave. Charlie’s confidence and raging bisexual energy is bomb and Ezra could pull it off no questions asked.

Darren Barnet as Knox Overstreet. I haven’t seen Never Have I Ever yet, but this little screen cap screams puppy-love

Jacob Latimore as Stephen Meeks. This little moment is so sweet and dorky, and I love him in Candy Jar 

Charlie Heaton as Gerard Pitts. We love a Lanky Boi™. Ouch that was kinda cringe.

Will Poulter as Richard Cameron. This one just makes so much sense to me. If you see him in Voyage of the Dawn Treader or The Maze Runnerr series, you’d understand my choice.

Tom Hiddleston as John Keating. I was heavily debating putting him or Daveed Diggs, but Hiddleston just has massive Robin Williams energy, and I live for the mischievous spark in his eye.

Lana Condor as Chris Noel.  She just has this “lovesick sweetheart” vibe about her. I know I’m type casting, shut up.

She’s also moaning about people being negative. When apart from the two hardcore Chris stans still on twitter and even then it’s not as bad as her negative tweets. She reminds me so much of Abby twitter/com/thelearrenqueen/status/1250171761431322625?s=21

She does. I wasn’t there and didn’t watch it, BUT from what I saw on twitter and people reaction, that reunion was perfectly nice and no hate were sent (well I know one cofler stan looking for evidence of darren “problematic” behaviour to validate the hate, but that’s it ... problematic with Darren has always made me laugh, he sometimes says shit, he may have been insensitive a few times ... but this is not problematic, this is being human, but that goes with that need of “purity” people feel a celebrity should have, but that’s a way too long debate to get into :D). Some talked about a bit of tinhatting, but this can be easily ignored.

Chris Colfer in AbFab

I was lucky enough to go see an advanced screening of the AbFab Movie tonight. I’m a long-time fan, so I would’ve gone anyways, but the extra bonus for me was that Chris was in a movie version of one of my all-time favorite shows. 

If you’re an AbFab fan: GO. Go this weekend - it’s going to be disgusting out throughout most of the country anyways, and you should be sitting in a nice cool theater laughing with (or at) Eddy and Patsy. 

If you’re a Chris Colfer fan and wondering if you should go just to see him....sure, go, but know that he’s only in a few scenes. He has some good moments with Pats and Eddy, as well as Lola and Saffy. It’s not a major role, but definitely more than the cameo that most of the other celebs got. I don’t want to give much away, but it’s worth noting his role is very reminiscent of S1 Kurt in his bitchier moments. 

AbFab Movie is a solid showing and I laughed a lot; better than the ‘newer’ episodes, and an absolute treat for long-time fans. 

ETA: Sherlock fans: Mark Gatiss (Mycroft) also has a small role!
