Apologize
Peter Hale x Reader x Chris Argent
Warnings: no?
You were curled up on Peter’s couch leaning against his side as a movie played on the TV. You couldn’t say you were watching it. Instead, you kept running through your argument with Chris and wiping away tears as they escaped to run down your cheeks. You’d already made it clear you didn’t want to talk about it any longer, nor did you want to be fussed over, so Peter kept his arm around you and ran his thumb along the bare skin of your arm in a comforting gesture. Occasionally it was joined by a kiss to your head.
You’d been there nearly three hours when someone pounded on the door making you jerk in surprise.
Peter sighed and kissed the top of your head again. “Stay here.”
You shifted positions so he could get up. You anxiously chewed on the end of your thumb as he opened the door. There were only a handful of people that knew where Peter lived so it almost had to be Chris. Hopefully, he wasn’t still angry with you.
“Can I help—” Peter cut off as Chris pushed his way into the apartment.
He looked upset. Good.
Okay, that was mean, but at least you weren’t suffering alone.
Chris had turned to look at Peter as he entered so he didn’t notice you. “I can’t find her anywhere.” He raked a hand through his hair while Peter scowled at him. “I fucked up. I didn’t mean to yell at her, but she scared the shit out of me. You have no idea how close she was to losing her head. Literally.”
That earned you a glare from the werewolf.
“So your solution was to tell her to quit trying to help before she got someone killed?” Peter asked, his attention back on the hunter.
Chris flinched. “Yeah, well, it sounds bad when you put it like that.”
You frowned. “And how else would you put it?”
He snapped around, his eyes going wide when he saw you. Immediately he was across the room and on his knees in front of you. He grasped your hand in his and kissed the back of it. “I am so, so sorry, baby. I just can’t lose you. I don’t think I’d survive it.” He glanced at your other boyfriend. “You didn’t think to tell me she was here?”
Peter smirked as he took his seat next to you. “Oh, I thought about it. Then I decided against it.”
Chris’s shoulders went tight with irritation. You tugged on the hand he was holding to get his attention. “He had to watch me cry. It didn’t hurt you any to run around town for a while.”
“Fair enough,” he agreed immediately with a nod of his head. He lifted your hand and kissed your wrist this time. “I am so sorry. I didn’t mean it. You are far more help than you probably realize. I just want you to be safe. I was mad at the situation and I took it out on you. I’m sorry.”
You studied him for a moment reassuring yourself that he meant the words. Finally, you pulled your hand from his and stood. His shoulders slumped as he believed you were rejecting him.
You placed your hand beneath his chin and tipped his head backward to press a kiss to his forehead. “Stay. Watch a movie. I’ll get the popcorn.”
He grinned and when you went to kiss his forehead again, he shifted so your lips met his. You lost your footing when he tugged you into his arms and you found yourself back in your seat on the sofa. After a moment, you pulled away with a soft smile.
Peter rolled his eyes as he stood with a smirk. “Just stay here. I’ll get the damn popcorn. I need a drink anyway.”

Hey, I don't know if you still up for it ot whether you have some rules about requests, but I've seen your post about doing Peter Hale x reader and others. And I'd really like to see your general dating headcanons with Peter Hale or Chris Argent💛
I've got so many ideas for a Peter Hale series! I hope to start posting it eventually. I will gladly do a dating headcanons for him. And I'll throw in Chris too. Everything here will be safe for work, of course. Enjoy!
Dating Peter Hale
He was so scared to tell you the truth about what he was, but when you found out, you didn't care.
He loves showing off his money. Expect expensive gifts.
But he's not a fan of huge crowds, so no big fancy dinners. He much prefers to eat in private with just the two of you. Or maybe at some small place.
Does NOT like candle lit dinners. Nor a yule log at Christmas. Or grilling out.
You and he learn how to cook together because he's so used to just buying all his meals. There's a lot of burned chicken, but also a lot of joy and laughter and making out in the kitchen. (That's why it burned.)
He's very touch starved. When you first start dating, he flinches every time you touch him. It takes some time, but eventually he can't keep himself from reaching for your hand or laying on your shoulder. He's heavy but you're fine with it.
He wants to make all the plans so you don't have to worry about anything. Just trust him to know what's best.
If you have family, they probably aren't too fond of him. He brings expensive wine to get-togethers though, so that might put him in their good graces if they like that kind of thing. If not, he'll depend on his usual charms. It might take awhile, but they'd eventually accept that he's here to stay.
Expect calls in the middle of the night. Or he might just show up. He doesn't sleep well and he needs comfort from the nightmares. If he hasn't slept the night before, he will curl up in your lap on your sofa and sleep. Stroking his hair really helps. When he's truly comfortable with you, he's prone to just falling asleep just so long as you're somewhere nearby. He especially likes to nap while you're driving.
Loves to just walk with you in the woods.
He's surprisingly knowledgeable about furniture and helps you decorate your house or apartment.
He wants everyone to know that you belong to him. He purposefully nuzzles into your hair to leave his scent on you. He loves giving you his jacket too. All the werewolves in town know you're taken.
Despite his bravado, he's constantly worried that you're going to leave him. He needs regular assurances that you love him.
He gets jealous easily. Your guy friends might wanna watch out. And you might have to have a long talk with Peter and get it through his head that they're not a threat to your relationship. Once he's 100% sure, this calms down. But he still doesn't like men fliting with you.
You help him rebuild his relationship with Malia and he loves you even more for it. The three of you sometimes get together and do dinner. You're there to console her when she and Scott break up and you have to keep Peter from going to LA and trying to kill Scott for a third time.
He constantly brags about having you to Derek and anyone else who will listen.
He will listen to you rant about work and the people that bother you. Then he'll offer to take them out. You assume he's joking, but sometimes, if they really upset you, he totally means it.
He will show up at your work and pester you. It's distracting, but you love seeing him.
His name for you in his phone is "My Queen".
He gives great skin care advice and has a wonderful sense of fashion. Also knows all the best hair care products. He loves to take you shopping for new stuff and buys everything. He gets broody if you won't let him shower you in gifts.
Sometimes when he's emotional, his eyes will turn blue and he will turn away because he's worried about scaring you. When you kiss him despite his fangs, he knows you truly don't care. You're even kinda into it much to his amusement.
If he upsets you, expect a huge vase of flowers. If you're not a flowers person, he gets chocolates or some kind of jewelry. He knows he can't buy your affections, but that isn't going to stop him from trying. He will eventually give a proper apology, but he hates admitting that he was wrong. Consider yourself lucky if he does.
Dating Chris Argent
He's the sweetest thing on the planet. His tired blue eyes and sad smile make you melt every time.
He lights up every time he sees you.
He lets you pick where you go to dinner, though he usually surprises you with a home made meal. This man can cook and you love it.
Brings you coffee or hot chocolate almost every morning.
Mows your grass and fixes your car for you without being asked.
You like to watch him clean his guns after a mission.
Sometimes comes home with some pretty gnarly wounds. You always clean him up and make him promise it won't happen again. But it keeps happening anyways. He hates to make you worry, but he has a job to do.
Early in your relationship, he constantly tries to run. He's afraid that if you love him, you'll die like everyone else has. It takes you awhile, but you eventually manage to convince him that you're not going anywhere.
Date night is just diner and a movie on his couch. He's not a fan of hanging out in public. But he will go to the park with you on sunny days. If you have an interest in guns, he'll take you to a shooting range.
He likes to just dance with you around the kitchen when he's in a really good mood.
He takes you on trips to France after you've been together for awhile, and shows you all the best places away from the crowds.
If you have any family, they are wary of him at first, but then they love him. He's so respectful. Your mom wants you to marry him tomorrow.
He has some trouble sleeping and can often be found sitting on his back porch, having a beer at night. If you show up, he finds it easier to get some rest.
He will always do his best to keep you safe. He might even train you how to fight if you ask.
If he does train you, you like to distract him while sparring by kissing him. It works every time.
He often has Scott and his friends over for dinner. You love having so many fun people around.
In a perfect world, Isaac comes and visits often and once accidentally calls you mom. Chris thinks it's hilariously adorable.
If he upsets you, he gives a sincere apology. You can't stay mad at those sad blue eyes no matter how hard you try.

Teen wolf characters when you get badly hurt
Includes: Peter, Derek, Jordan, Noah, and Chris.
warnings: near-death experience, being captured, nearly dying, getting hurt, swearing, death.
---
[Peter]
Tumblr media
When you run into Peter after an attack, which left you bleeding out, Peter's first thought is to go after who hurt you.
-When you pass out in his arms from the blood loss though, he changes his mind.
-Tries to heal you, but it doesn’t really work for some reason, but it does help enough to ease the pain.
-Will hide his tears at first but when he sees just how bad you got hurt, Peter he can’t help it.
-He’s lost too many people, so it hurts more, because he's not sure what he would do if he lost you too.
-Will stay by your side for however long, not caring about anything or anyone else but you.
-'Cause he just cares about you, loves you more than anything.
-Grows so much more protective of you.
-He will also go after who'd hurt you, and he will make them suffer.
-Cracks jokes and does anything to see you smile while you recover.
-Tells you stories to keep you entertained, and doing/getting whatever you want.
"Peter, I can get it..."
"You need to recover, sweetheart. Besides I don't mind."
-Loves just being there for you.

-
Derek:
Tumblr media
-When you show up on his doorstep with a broken arm, Derek's eyes widen.
-He'll already be by your side.
"Who did this?"
-Though you admit you have no clue, because the car you were in crashed, but you couldn't see who caused this to happen.
"I'm sorry I wasn't with you.”
-Pulls you towards him gently, pressing a soft kiss to your head.
-Offers to heal you, but when you convince him it will be okay, he'll stay by your side until you've healed up.
-Finds himself losing sleep even though he knows you're okay.
-He wants to find the person who'd hurt you, but not until he knows you're better.
-Postpones the pack meetings to be with you.
-Brings you what you need, and just helps nurse you back to health.
-Lots of ‘I love you’s’ and you see more of his soft side.
-He cares so much that he sacrifices his own well-being, so you’ll be okay.
-
Jordan:
Tumblr media
-When Jordan finds out you're being held captive, and you were hurt, he immedietly goes after you. It doesn't take long for him to find you.
-Once the sick son of a bitch is knocked out, he rushes to you.
"(y/n)!"
-Though since you're out of it, you don't really register Jordan being there.
Still he'll hold you so carefully, too scared to let you go, if he's being honest.
-Blames himself for this happening when it was far from his fault.
-And once you're okay at home, he doesn’t leave your side. He’d taken time off work to be there for you.
-Loves to do things with you that you would normally do like watch a movie, or just cuddle. If you’re up for it, though.
-Likes holding one of your hands, and will fall asleep still holding whoever hand. Which you find adorable.
-He’s just the sweetest, as always, and will devote all of his time to you.
-Even though you're worried he'd get sick of you, but he could never.
-
Chris:
Tumblr media
-It's a hunter who shoots you while you're patroling with Chris
-You’re hit in the side, to be precise, and Chris... Chris is pissed.
-He kills your shooter, immedietly putting his gun away, and rushing to you.
"Sweetheart, hey..."
a hand moving to rip of a piece of cloth, while he presses it down to your wound.
"It's okay..."
-Soon enough you end up passing out from the blood loss, and Chris speeds to the hospital.
Ticket for speeding? Whatever, he'll just pay for it if he gets one.
-Nearly breaks down seeing you this way, and basically blames himself for this happening.
'cause if you weren't there with him, if he hadn't convinced you to come, this wouldn't have happened.
-Doesn't want to lose you like he lost his wife, it would be the straw that breaks the camels back, and he would fully lose it, he's sure.
-
Noah:
Tumblr media
-You're protecting Noah when you're thrown at the wall, and knocked out.
-Noah is in shock, at first, until it pretty quickly disappears.
"You son of a bitch!"
and he aims his gun at who’d hurt you, ready to take him down.
-That is until Scott appears and does so, before he can. Which he's thankful for because he knows he wouldn't take it easy on him.
-Muttering underneath his breath he runs to you, gently picking you up .
-You're still knocked out, and now you're sporting a cut above your left eye, and a bruise has already formed on the right of your head.
-Forces himself to stay out of shock, as he instead focuses on calling for help.
-During the week that you're in hospital, he finds himself praying.
-That's never really happened before cause he never believed, but he can't help but ask for help.
-He prays that nothing else will happen to you, that you'll be fine, and that son-of-a-bitch will stay in prision. Where he belongs.
[he did kill over ten people, and you might have been next]
-He prays that you'll be okay because he doesn't want to lose you, like he lost...her. He doesn't want Stiles to lose you, either.
-Like Jordan he also takes time of work. Doesn't really care that he's the sheriff because you're more important.

I'm Not Afraid | Chapter 17
Tumblr media
Word Count: 3.5K
Story Description: (Y/N) Argent arrived at Beacon Hills to put to rest her father’s sister, Kate Argent. For the first time, her family has decided to settle down and sustain a life in this interesting small town. After 17 years, (Y/N) has the opportunity to establish interpersonal relationships but will she be ready to face the complications that come with relating to her cousin’s, Allison, friends; especially, the infamous Derek Hale. She will face the adventure of being associated with the Derek and McCall pack, as well as being faced with the discovery of certain aspects of her life she never imagined.
A/N: uh oh, things are changing...
<- Previous | Next ->
Tumblr media
There was a tense air between (Y/N) and Derek as they reached her house. He helped her off the bike and kept his hand on her lower back as they walked to her front porch but did not say a single word. His stare was a million miles away, and she could tell his thoughts had been running rampant in his head.
“Are you okay, Derek?” the girl finally broke the silence as she slid her key into the door. “You feel weird. Like, distant.”
“I’m fine,” he said, his stoic façade still plastered on his face. “I just need to make sure you’re home safe before I get my pack.”
“They’re fine. They’re hiding up in my room.” She pulled out her phone from her pocket and showed him Isaac’s text confirming that they had locked themselves in her house. “But I need to know what you’re hiding right now because I know something’s up.”
“Everything’s fine,” he huffed. “Why are they here?”
“I thought they’d be safe here,” she responded. “Don’t change the topic, Derek. You know you can’t lie to me.”
“I just… we gotta stay away from each other for a while, okay? Believe me when I say, it’s for the best.”
The answer took (Y/N) aback. She stepped away from his touch, as though suddenly it burned her. His words had seemingly come out of nowhere. They were in a good spot, she thought. They weren’t exactly in a relationship, but they weren’t not in one either. They had been speaking consistently for the past couple of weeks, they had seen each other when they could, and they had kissed. God, did they kiss. “I-I-I don’t understand,” she stammered as she blinked away her confusion. “I thought we were good. I mean, I know our situation isn’t exactly ideal, but I didn’t think it was going bad.”
“It’s just not the time to deal with feelings, (Y/N),” he sighed. “I have to focus on how to get rid of the Kanima and why Scott would betray us. I simply don’t have the bandwidth to focus on you too.”
“Oh, I didn’t know I was such a distraction,” (Y/N) scoffed, putting another step of distance between them. “You know, it was only a few weeks ago that you were saying you wanted this to work. No matter how long it took or what hurdles we had to go through. You said I wouldn’t have to go through life alone, not while you were here. Was that all just bullshit?”
“It wasn’t… It isn’t…” He ran his hands across his face in frustration, letting out an infuriated groan. “With everything that’s going on, I can’t risk being close to you, (Y/N). The more time that passes with the Kanima here, the more hunters will arrive. Especially now that I have a target on my back, thanks to your cousin. Being with you only makes that target bigger, and it puts it on my pack too. I have to make the right decision for them.”
“So, everything I’ve done to help you guys out means nothing?” she cried, biting down the tears that threatened to spill. “I’ve stuck my neck out for you on more than one occasion. I think I’ve proven to be an asset to you and your pack when it comes to my family.”
“You have and I’m grateful,” he said. Derek took a beat before continuing. It seemed he knew the next words out of his mouth would drive a wedge between them that he wasn’t sure would ever be removed. “I just don’t know if one day you’ll turn on us like Allison has done to Scott, or even like Kate did to me.”
If there was anything he could say that would drive (Y/N) away, it was that. Her fears of one day becoming like her aunt still haunted her to that day. It was a quiet but haunting rumble in the pits of her mind, fed by her insecurities and her fears, and very much alive.
“A-are you serious?” (Y/N) wanted to appear confident and confrontational. But she couldn’t help the way her voice broke. “Do you really think I’d be capable of doing something like that?”
“I can’t be sure, (Y/N). I want to believe that you won’t and that you and your father are truly on our side, but I have to take precautions. It’s not just my life that’s at stake.”
(Y/N) didn’t know if his words stung more than the unchanging expression on his face. There was no care, no compassion. She wasn’t talking to Derek, her sour wolf. She was speaking to Derek, the alpha. “What brought this on, Derek?” she asked. “What made you change your mind all of a sudden?”
“It wasn’t anything specifically. It’s just… the situation we’re in is basically unheard of, and I need to make sure that I’m putting a hundred percent of my brain into resolving this,” he said. “And if Scott isn’t going to help, then I have to find a way to end this once and for all. I can’t be worrying about the hunters coming from your side too.”
Words died in the girl’s mouth as she tried to conceal the hurt that coursed through her veins. It was a betrayal like no other. “Is that really how you feel?” (Y/N) asked, her resolve quickly coming undone. “You once told me that you knew that I would never be like Kate. That there was no way I could be that heartless. Does that mean you lied? Have you always felt this way?”
And with determination like she had never seen from him, he said, “Yes.” By then, she couldn’t hold back the tears, but she wouldn’t let him see her hurt. She couldn’t keep the drops from falling, but she could keep her sobs inside. “(Y/N)…”
“Go,” she said sternly, facing her door and giving him her back.
“(Y/N), I…”
“I said go, Derek,” she restated, raising her voice. “You can call your pack after. But you need to get out of here right now.”
Before he could say another word, (Y/N) slipped into her house and locked the door behind her. Shuddering cries threatened to break through, so she clasped her fist into her mouth and bit down. She did not want him to hear her. He’d been able to shatter her heart with a few words, but he did not deserve to know her pain. Not anymore.
As the tears fell, she remembered the cuts on her face. Every time another drop fell, it sank into the open wound, mixing blood and salty water down her cheeks. The sting was enough to subside the pain in her chest, but not enough to make it go away. And all she wanted was for it to go away.
Suddenly, soft steps on her stairs forced her head to snap forward to see a witness to her despair. Erica wore a sympathetic smile on her face, something that surprised (Y/N) out of her tears. It had been the first time she had even held a kind gaze toward the girl, always throwing sarcastic comments or unnecessary jabs her way. But at that moment, she came to her as a friend.
“Let’s fix up that face,” she said. “Where’s the first aid kit?”
“Uh, um,” (Y/N) cleared her throat. “There’s one under the kitchen sink.”
“Let’s go.”
The blonde helped her up from the ground and followed her quietly into the kitchen. She didn’t throw snarky remarks her way or make fun of the way her face was most likely a disaster. All she did was remain silent and try to help.
Once the first aid bag was on the counter, Erica patted a stool to instruct the girl to sit. Something she very much obliged to before the werewolf set to work. She put on a pair of black gloves and set to clean the wound with cleansing wipes, clearing away any debris or tear that might have mixed with her blood.
“This is gonna sting a bit, okay?” Erica announced as she uncapped the liquid stitch bottle. “Do you need something to bite down on?”
“No,” (Y/N) smiled softly. “Go ahead.”
The girl winced softly as the liquid touched her skin, but it was quickly replaced with the comfort of Erica’s soft hands pinching the slash closed. She repeated the step two more times before cleaning the area once more and covering it with a gauze bandage. “There,” Erica said as she finished bandaging her arm as well. “The wound should breathe during the night to help with the healing. Try to keep it dry or without direct water contact for about five days, and you should be good.”
“Thanks,” she said. “You’re good at this.”
“I’ve had one too many falls not to be,” the girl chuckled as she put away the kit. “It’s actually the reason I’ve always wanted to become a doctor. I wanted to make sure no one else went through what I did.”
“Why can’t you?”
“At first it was because I was so behind in school, I’d never get the grades to get into a good school,” she shrugged. “Now, with the whole werewolf thing, I don’t think I could.”
“Why not? I think now it’ll be so much easier for you,” (Y/N) offered. “Now, you don’t have to deal with the seizures, and you can focus on your schoolwork. Later on, I’m sure any school would be begging to have you go there.”
“I don’t know,” the blonde sighed. “I guess, after seeing everything I have and going through what we have in such little time, I think med school seems stupid in the grand scheme of things. I would love to live a normal life, but I don’t think I was ever meant to. I mean, at first, it was epilepsy. Now, it’s the fact that I’m part wolf, part human, and I have yet to get that under control.”
Seeing Erica be vulnerable and sweet surprised (Y/N), and it was a welcome distraction to whatever it had been that had gone down with Derek. “You know this is going to end someday,” she tried to comfort her. “We’re gonna beat the Kanima, and the hunters will go back to their own lives. Life won’t always be like this.”
“How can you be so sure? Something tells me there’s always gonna be something in this town,” she chuckled dryly. “The only way to go back to normal is to leave.”
“Is that what you want? To leave Beacon Hills?”
“I mean, it’s a plan,” she shrugged as she sat beside (Y/N). “I didn’t think it would be like this. The constant looking over my shoulder, the fear that I’ll be caught, the fear that I’ll be killed. I wanted the strength, the power that came with being supernatural. But I didn’t really measure the danger that came with it. Unfortunately, not every hunter can be like you.”
“I think that’s the first time you’ve ever complimented me,” (Y/N) chuckled. “Don’t know how I feel about it.”
“Don’t get used to it,” the girl grinned. “But seriously, you have no reason to protect us like you have. I mean, apparently, even lovesick Allison turned on lover boy.”
“Yeah, grief makes you do unthinkable things,” she sighed. “Especially when you have a monster like Gerard whispering in your ear.”
“And he doesn’t whisper in yours?”
“God no. I don’t think he particularly likes my family. At least my dad and I.”
“Ooh, family drama?”
“None that I know the details of, but I know it has something to do with me and some woman from my dad’s past,” (Y/N) explained, remembering the not-so-hushed words from her parents. “Also, my dad sort of sides with the wolves rather than the hunters. He thinks their methods are too extreme and cause more harm than good. He told me he wants to change the group from the inside out, but it’s hard.”
“And you believe him?” Erica inquired, biting the skin from her fingers. (Y/N) could see she hadn’t noticed yet. It was something she did before turning, a way to calm her senses when everything seemed too much. “Do you really believe he’s on our side?”
“He helped me find Derek tonight, and he covered for me about the rave. I don’t think he would lie to me about that. My mom on the other hand…”
“Can’t stand us?”
“Yup.”
“Well, you can tell her the feeling is mutual.”
“Hey,” (Y/N) exclaimed with a smile. “That’s my mom you’re talking about.”
“No offense,” Erica laughed as she threw her arms up in surrender. “But seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever said this, but thank you, (Y/N). I’ve unnecessarily been a bitch to you, and you don’t deserve that. So, I’m sorry.”
“Am I really getting an apology from Erica Reyes? I think I might be dreaming.”
“Oh, come on,” she chuckled. “I’m trying to be serious here—vulnerable. I am grateful for what you’ve done for me, even when I was horrible to you. You didn’t have to.”
“Well, you got the bitch part down, I didn’t think I needed it, too,” (Y/N) grinned before she took Erica’s hand and smiled warmly. “But it means a lot that you apologized. Thank you. Maybe from here on out, we could be friends. I honestly need more in this town.”
“I think that would be great,” she beamed. “I’ve been needing a dose of estrogen after so many months surrounded by testosterone.”
As the girls laughed, footsteps came down the stairs and quickly joined them in the kitchen, followed by the pitter-patter of claws against the hardwood floor. “Well, look at these two fraternizing,” Isaac told Boyd. “Never thought I’d see the day.”
“I would be rude not to when it’s her house,” Boyd shrugged. “Which, again, thank you for letting us hide out here. We haven’t really received any other instruction from Derek.”
“Yeah, and I don’t think you will anytime soon.”
“What do you…?” Isaac’s words died in his throat as he noticed (Y/N)’s bandages and the smell of iron in the air. He was quick to rush to her side, inspecting her visible skin for any other wound. “What the hell happened?”
“Ah, just a small run-in with Jackson,” she shrugged as she knelt to pet Brody, scratching him on the spot behind his ears he loved so he wouldn’t worry about her. “I’ll be fine. I just don’t heal as fast as you guys do.”
“How serious was the cut?” Isaac asked Erica, knowing (Y/N) would only wave him off. “Was it deep? I knew I should have gone with you to the station.”
“It wasn’t deep enough to need stitches, Isaac. She’ll be fine.”
“Dude, calm down,” Boyd chuckled. “She’s tougher than she looks.”
“Thank you, Boyd,” she smiled toward the boy. “I really appreciate the vote of confidence. You should learn from him, Lahey.”
“Yeah, it’s all fun and games until you get seriously hurt,” he grumbled, crossing his arms across his chest. “I can’t believe I let you go there by yourself. I should have been there.”
“And risk getting caught by my grandfather? Absolutely not,” she reprimanded. “As a matter of fact, all of you need to lay low because while Jackson is still the Kanima, more hunters will keep flooding into town, and I don’t wanna risk any of you getting caught. If you need a place to stay, I think I can talk to my dad and help you guys out. Maybe tell my mom the basement flooded and keep you guys there?”
“Thanks, (Y/N),” Boyd smiled. “We’ll talk to Derek first. See what the next steps will be.”
“Yeah,” she scoffed lightly. “And if you can find out what the hell is going on with him in the meantime, I’d greatly appreciate it.”
The four of them spent the next hour in her kitchen, talking and laughing like normal teenagers until Erica and Boyd said they were too tired to still be awake and headed to (Y/N)’s room. But not before the girl turned and thanked Argent for giving her a night where she felt normal. After that, only Isaac and her were left downstairs.
They had moved into the living room, where (Y/N) rested her head on his lap, and Brody curled up right beside them. Henry had texted her that he and her mother would be staying over at Chris’ house and that he’d keep her posted on anything that would be going down.
“I don’t understand what happened, Isaac,” she sighed as she felt his hands running through her hair. “Everything was going great until just an hour ago. What made Derek change his mind?”
“Honestly, I wish I could tell you,” he said. “But Derek’s not one to really talk about what’s going on in his head. The only time he’s ever been nice to me is when you’re around. He’s quite a dick when you’re not around.”
“But he’s still your alpha.”
“It’s not like there are many options here,” he chuckled. “And I guess I feel a bit indebted to him. If it hadn’t been for the bite, I’m pretty sure I would have ended up in the hospital, or even worse…”
Isaac couldn’t bring himself to say the words, instead taking in a shuddering deep breath. (Y/N) could see his eyes getting cloudy with tears as fear overtook him. Even if that part of his life was buried, there was no way to repress the memories.
“I’m sorry you had to go through that, Isaac,” she responded quietly, taking his free hand in hers. “And I’m sorry you had to go through it alone. I wish I could have at least been your friend back then.”
“I think you came at the perfect time,” he smiled softly. “Just long enough to get my shy and adorable side and stay to see my resurgence into an amazing and confident werewolf teenager.”
“You know, some people would say cocky and self-absorbed.”
“Well, those people would be wrong,” he chuckled. “But you did come at the right time. Those last couple of months, you actually gave me hope. If we had spent more time together, I think I may have even refused the bite.”
“Would you have, really?” (Y/N) mused. “Would you have given it all up?”
“I think so,” Isaac shrugged. “I mean, people around us don’t seem disturbed by what’s going on in this town. All I would have to worry about is whether or not I could pass my classes, and well, social services I guess.”
“Not funny,” she reprimanded, slapping him softly on the chest. “But the supernatural does suit you.”
“It does, doesn’t it?”
“Oh, calm down, Lahey.”
“I’m just kidding, Argent,” the boy laughed. “As for Derek, all you have to do is give it time. He can be a moody one.”
“Something feels different this time, though,” she sighed. “I don’t know what it is, but something’s just off.”
The last thing Derek had wanted was to make her cry. Hearing her sobs through her door made his heart wrench in his chest, and all he could do was get as far away from her as he could. His legs took off in a soft run at first but quickly turned into a supernatural sprint that had his lungs aching for air. All he could do was run.
Soon enough, the scenery of houses and cars turned into trees and bushes. Leaves crunched under his feet, and branches snapped as he stepped on them. Even when a rock stood in his way and threatened to make him lose his balance, he simply kept running.
He wished (Y/N) knew that what he did had been for her own good. If she wasn’t by his side, there was no way she could be used as a bargaining chip. Especially not with Peter back. He didn’t trust his own life in the hands of his uncle; how could he entrust him with (Y/N)’s?
By the time he had reached his family’s house, his body ached all over. Frustration filled his veins, and his limbs ached with the need for violence. He let out an exasperating scream before his fist went through a wooden board. He didn’t know if he wanted to keep breaking down the house or just sit down and cry. As much as he wanted to be by (Y/N)’s side, he knew that the best thing for her would be for him to stay as far away as possible. He had lived long enough with loneliness, though none as hurtful as this one for a long time. (Y/N) would soon enough move on from him, and he’d be the one to carry the hurt. As long as Peter was in town and her family would punish her for her affiliations, he’d just have to stay away.

Cosmic Chaos
Chapter 22
Tumblr media
Earlier On
“Is there is reason why you have this haunted look on your face?” Dean Winchester asks Sheila Bennett, Sam Winchester his younger brother who eyeing the ancient book that Sheila set on the car hood.
“I am sure that you know that wendigos don’t usually bite someone in order to transfer its soul to next victim.”
“Unless it’s felt threatened.” Dean completed looking more puzzled at the words.
“And it just doesn’t bite one but two, and does this ever happened when the two of you went hunting wendigos?”
“How did it know we were coming.?”
“It wasn’t afraid of us.” Sam speak up making Dean turns to him, the youngest Winchester’s points at now opened book, there a figure of women with a crown on her head on the next page are the manuscripts that related to the figure.
Sheila sighs whispering your name “it knew her presence. Her powers…...she herself should be myth, her raw power could obliterate universe she doesn’t know how much power she holds within her. the chaos magic seems bond with her. and that not just it” she turns the pages pointing at a picture of bird that looks like phoenix with burning fire wings.
“What’s that?” dean ask leaning down towards the book to take a good look with squinted eye scanning the figure.
“I have no idea; would you believe me if I say when I was looking to her magic something akin a shooting star come right into my ritual and chaos magic and whatever this is started repel each other until its started co exit right when she came in.”
Dean exhales “I think I would.” Dean cross his arms “How does this even a problem though. If the power chooses her, a power that something beyond our sense, it might have reason, right?”
“If a wendigo could sense her presence and knows about her existence, about her power it might be trouble.” Sheilla objected looking away from the book with her hands curling into her palm.
Sam shakes his head “I’m sure she can handle them plus her friend is werewolf and you would there too, But the problem is if she does not choose right path, we might big problem though.”
Dean shrugs “I might only know her for few hours but I can say, she’s far from evil.” Sam nod
“She won’t hurt anyone with her power but what if some situations arise, where she has to bend her morals.” Sheila says quickly “chaos magic something I never dealt with, its legend I fear I might not able help her at all.”
“Like when she knows you’re going to die?” Sam said though it sounded like question its was statement.
Sheilla knows that it’s the truth, what you saw was her fate Sheila Bennett is going to die soon and that’s how it should.
Dean and Sam stay silent because they know they have no right to say in this when if one of them had the fate the other would go to hell and back to save one another, they know they would bend their morals for each other, sacrifice in order to save each other.
“Wouldn’t you do it.?” Sam argued with certainty in his eyes “what if she and you were to switch place wouldn’t you do the same” Sheilla doesn’t have a response to his questions. What can she say if she said yes that would wrong and right and if she says no that would be equally wrong and right considering who she is.
“Sam” dean shakes his head at him.
“No dean, you would do it for me and I would do it for you, there is no denying that.” He proclaimed “fearing her would only complicate things, she needs you more than ever so I recommend that you would come clean to her.”
Sheila takes in Sam’s proposition, would she do it will her morals allows her to do so, witches are the protecters of nature and you defy nature by merely existing.
“She doesn’t need anyone that fear when she or us doesn’t even fully know what she is . what she need is someone to relay on.” Sam eyes were watery when he ended his words, he doesn’t know why the slight thought of someone viewing any less than you made his heart ache.

Present
Derek eyes follow his uncle peter with glare as they walk towards their home, peter feet had a bounce in his heel humming a God’s know what song, the mere sight of his uncle…psychotic uncle annoyed him more than anything that he feels like the three of you were far better and bearable.
“You know, I think you actually burned a hole on the back of my head with all your glaring.” Peter glance back at his nephew with mock sadness on his face.
Derek stops in his tracks “You won’t have scott on your side if you threaten them.”
“Yeah, but being an alpha you have to show that you’re one but it didn’t go well. You know I wasn’t planning this to go this way.” He sighs “I wasn’t expecting her to be there, I thought we meet at hospital considering that’s where we first meet. But she keeps defying my predictions.”
Derek’s jaw clenches as with his hands in his pocket he glances away from his uncle before speaking “What do plan to do with her.?”
Peter turns to derek with a fake innocence look on his face “Oh, me. nothing.” Derek speeds towards his uncle hands on peters throat his nail digging into flesh, he is slammed to near tree.
“Tell me, now.” Derek demanded his eyes changing a low snarl leave his lips.
Peter lips curled into a smirk “I was wondering how you had gone soft after what happened, but I think I know now.” He kicks derek sending crashing to few feet away.
“Isn’t she something else.” He grins feeling more amused at derek confused look “please don’t tell you think she’s just a witch. I thought you were smarter than this.”
He walks towards him crouching down next to derek “She is far more than just a witch derek. And seems to me she knows who caused the fire all those years ago. that’s something very interesting isn’t it.”
Peter stands up with smile, derek stands up “She’s not some puppet that you can use.” Derek yelled.
“Not a puppet but she would make good pup though. She has the potential. “He teased leaving derek stand with dread settling in him, what does peter knows about you that he doesn’t even know.

You did not think this through at all, as promised Chris Argent drives you to home the two of you sits in silence.
“You look like you wanna tell me something.” Chris argent said glancing at you.
You perk up “Huh, yeah. You know my grams sort known as a witch, right?” He nods “well yesterday me and grams went to a filed trip….and we meet the Winchester brother and along the conversation…they said you guys were Hunters.” Chris hands tighten around the wheels.
Not exactly the truth but some times lying is alright and its not the time to reveal your powers.
“How much do you know about what’s happening here.?” Chris questioned without looking away from the road.
“Not much, just that there is werewolf, an alpha going around killing people. and you’re looking for it and a beta, and that you think jackson is one.” you shrug Chris let out a humorless laugh.
“That is basically everything. “
You nod hands molded into fist in your lap “if he is one, are you going to kill him.?” your voice came out as whisper barely audible but the silent surrounding made your words audible to Chris.
With perplexed look on his face Chris turns to you, fear and concern evident in your eyes for the male in question he sighs “No, we have code. We are not going to hurt a teenager. You don’t need to worry about your friend.”
“What If one of you broke the code.” The car comes to halt, for some reason Chris feel this as fact not a simple what if. Questions starts to arise in his mind not even registering you get out the car.
You lean towards the window “not to sound ominousness but you should tell Allison about what you guys really are, teenagers don’t like secret especially something like this, I know you are trying to protect her but she might not take it that way.”
Without a word you walk leaving Chris perplexed.
Tumblr media
You tread inside the house without a care skipping towards the hallway and swing open the door to the room and throw yourself on the bed letting out a loud sigh.
“You look beat.” Danny chuckle from his desk turning on his chair to face you, humming you close your eyes before opening a yawn leaves your lips.
“Half dead but still kicking.”
Shaking his head at your words with amusement danny, standing up he goes to his closest taking out a bag walking towards the bed he put the bag beside you, grabbing your hands he pulls you up ignoring your halfhearted protest.
“I was on hunt for costume, along the way I found this. It was too good to leave it there.” He takes the bag and place it on your lap.
You open the bag mouth opening wide when you take out outfit, its looks straight out of anime game armor outfit the golden and red color goes really well together, that’s not just it, clothing accessories and there is a golden earring as well as hair accessories its truly stunning.
“Danny this is amazing.” You voice was dreamy still taken in the outfit hands tracing the smooth fabric.
“It could be like red riding hood but sexier and cooler.” Danny sits beside you “about sexy do you have stiles cousin Miguel’s number?” scrunching your nose at that you try to think who danny is talking about.
“Miguel?”
Danny nods his head “you know, 6 feet black hair, dark eyes broad shoulders great jawline, clean shave.”
Your lips stretched in to an ‘O’ shape finally grasping about who he was talking about “Oh Miguel! Sorry danny I don’t have it, but you know what I’ll let him know.”
He frowns at you falsely “you’re bitchless.” His lips curling up.
Gasping you hit him “look who’s talking.” Scoffing you take out your phone feeling it vibrate it stiles.
“I gotta go, its stiles.” You put the outfit back as well as your phone.
Danny nod walking you out “Hey, you have anyone taking you to school Halloween party.?”
“No, but I did ask Issac. But I don’t know if he come though” you sigh opening the door holding the bag in one hand. “You gotta save me dance whatsoever.” You add with serious face.
“Yes ma’am.” He chuckled opening his arms to hug you, hugging him back with a one last way you walk out straight to stiles home.
Tumblr media
STILINSKI HOUSE
You and stiles peek around the corner watching stiles dad going through the case you glance at stiles “Are we sure, we must do this?”
“yes”
“Why does feel like we are going commit a crime.”
Stiles shrugs “Well it won’t be first illegal thing we do. Now come on.” He takes hold of your arms grabbing you out before you can escape.
You and stiles sit down at the table “Whatcha doing?” stiles ask innocently
“Work.”
“Anything we can help with?” you offer with an equal innocent smile Noah looks up at your voice eyes narrowing at you. he shakes his head he turns to stiles
“You know, if you poured me an ounce of whiskey, that would be awfully nice.” He said before going back to the papers.
“Any leads?” you glance down at the papers while stiles pour the drink.
“You know I can't discuss that with you.”  while Noah was distracted stiles pour the drink almost at the brim.
“Okay. There you go, Dad. Bottoms up.” You and stiles watch Noah drown the drink still focused on the papers, you glance nervously at Noah.
“You know, Derek Hale would be a whole hale of a lot--Hale of a lot...?” his words start to get slurred making stiles complete the sentence
“Hell... Yes... He would be a hell of a lot easier to catch if we could get an actual picture of him.”
Stiles incredulously yells “How do you not have a picture of him?”
“It’s the weirdest thing... It's like every time we tried to get a mug shot, it's like two laser-beams were pointing at the camera.” You glance at the photo and he’s right derek face isn’t on the picture the only way you know it’s derek is because of his stupid black jacket.
“Weird right.”
Noha nod before closing his eyes “Oh, my God... Ohhh! God, that ounce hit me like a brick. And I have said way too much, and if you repeat any of that—"
“Dad, it's us we not gonna say anything. Come on!”
“See, the thing is, they're all connected... I mean, the bus driver that got killed? He was an insurance investigator assigned to the Hale House Fire.”
"Terminated under suspicion of fraud." You read out loud handing the paper to stiles
“Exactly.”
“Who else?” you and stiles ask curiously at the same time making Noah look at the two of you before letting out a laugh.
“The video store clerk who got his throat slashed? He's a convicted felon-- history of arson.”
“What about the other two guys, the guys who got killed in the woods?” stiles ask. You lean back in your chair crossing your arms over your chest.
“Priors all over their records, including—”
“Arson, they all had something to do with the fire, that burned the Hale house.” Stiles glance at you as you speak.
Does that mean what you saw was truth?.

crawling out of the woodwork to share this idea that's been plaguing me for about a week now...
I just can't stop thinking about Theo walking into a room to see Y/N on their phone- and I mean that's not really strange in and of itself but the look of concentration is just astounding, so he gets curious obviously and just...
"what are you looking at?"
And Y/N without missing a beat, not even looking up, just answers: "oh i'm reading werewolf p*rn."
Because the thing about a/b/o fics is that they don't really apply to what we know of the werewolves in Teen Wolf, but there's just enough commonality that I think, even if you don't actually read a/b/o fics irl, it's easy enough to rationalise you stumbling across them in universe, and I feel like if you apply the context of Teen Wolf to finding a/b/o fics, it just gets a little funny?
Also, bonus if, say, 20-30 minutes later Scott or someone walks in just to find Y/N in the same position, but this time Theo's leaning over the back of their chair, reading over their shoulder with furrowed eyebrows and just...
Scott: "What are you two looking at?"
Theo and Y/N, deadpan: "Werewolf porn."

Premise: with the riddle solved the pack now have to face the truth their English teacher is not who they thought she was. To find out who’s responsible for the chaos in Beacon Hills they have no choice but to confront Y/n about her identity and nature. Even if it could cost them their lives.
——————————
*tick* *tick* *tick*
Scott’s eyes were on the clock, flickering over to Stiles who wore an expression similar to his. Filled with unease and wondering if what they were about to do was a mistake. The minutes were ticking away as the school day approached its end. Glancing to Allison and Lydia in the front of the classroom he could see in their neck and shoulders how tense they were, Allison nervously chewing on the tip of her pen. All throughout the lecture none could stay focused. Not when the person teaching had a harrowing secret they were about to confront.
How would she react? Better yet, how were they going to even breach the subject.
Scott could see them fucking everything up in the blink of the eye. He couldn’t help but recall Peter’s warning from the night before. “Vampires can be hostile creatures—especially if they haven’t fed for a while. They can go maybe….weeks without drinking blood before they start to lose their control. Considering Loretta—or should I say, Y/n, has been in Beacon Hills a few months I can only assume she is getting her blood by some other means than preying on its citizens. Still, approach her with caution if you decide to confront her. If I was a 130 year old vampire who was a wealthy socialite that survived one of the most famous shipwrecks in history and was being hunted by my creator…well let’s just say I wouldn’t let you leave still breathing.”
The more the seconds ticked by the more Scott was regretting the plan. After much debate the pack wanted to get to the bottom of everything quickly and that meant confronting Miss. Andrews at school. Which was very unnerving. Discovering she was a vampire only made her more intimidating after already establishing herself as someone who came off as unapproachable. Though they had few interactions, Scott found Miss. Andrews to possess an aura that reads, ‘better to wonder in silence rather than search for answers.’ Appearing no older than the age of thirty, sometimes she’d say words or phrases that made her seem much older.
Thankfully their English section was the last period of the day. Isaac wasn’t in the class but he had Miss. Andrews that morning and kept his eyes out for the necklace, however, he was unable to tell if the woman was wearing it.
The Heart of the Ocean.
What led them to her.
If she was wearing the necklace it had to have been beneath her high collared shirt that was paired with a black blazer and dress pants. Now knowing what they know, they realized Miss. Andrews always wore clothing that was sophisticated and concealed her neck area. Whether it be a turtleneck or a collared shirt, they wondered why they hadn’t found it odd before. California was hot even in the early months of the year—especially in April as they approached summer.
Peter’s words echoed in Scott’s mind, “Vampires are cold-blooded creatures. The warm weather has little effect on them and though the glimmer acts as a camouflage to other supernatural creatures it doesn’t change their nature. They’ll be cold to the touch. Faster than the speed of sound. Stronger the older they are. And some even have little gifts that separate them from others.”
“Gifts?”
“Abilities. Very rare among their kind but those who possess them are more enhanced in every aspect than others. I’ve heard stories about one who can read minds. An old…acquaintance, of mine said he once encountered a vampire who could compel anyone to do anything for them. Let’s hope neither your killer or his little creation have any talents. Otherwise your odds of coming out of this in one piece are going to be very low.”
The hairs stood on the back of Scott’s neck when Loretta…Y/n… passed him as she walked in between the aisle of desks. It was like his senses were trying to warn him despite his others unable to detect she was not human.
“What people fail to understand about Romeo and Juliet…” Loretta moves between Lydia and Allison, missing how both girls tense up. “Is that it is not a romance despite having a prominent theme of love thorough out the play. To be considered a romance it must have what you would call, ‘a happily ever after,’…” Turning to face the class, Loretta leans her back against the desk with her arms crossed over her chest. Scott almost perches up, straining his ears to see if he could pick up movement around her neck.
Her eyes scan across the room, lingering on Scott and Stiles when they quickly look away, “Specifically for the protagonist—or protagonists in this setting. Romeo and Juliet die at the end of the play, therefore there is no happy ending. Yes, their families end up putting past their differences due to the loss of their loved ones. But the protagonists did not get to ride off into the sunset and live out their lives in peace. So the more appropriate term for the play would be a tragedy. A genre focused on human suffering and sorrowful events that happen to the protagonist. And as we have learned these past weeks, Shakespeare was known for his tragedies. Romeo and Juliet is just one of his many—Macbeth, Othello, Julius Caesar to name a few.”
There were only two minutes remaining in the class. Scott tapped his pen against the book anxiously, eyes back on the clock as Siltes sent him another look. Isaac’s scent soon filled his nostrils, indicating he was outside the door. And glancing over her shoulder, Allison gave a slight nod of, ‘it’s gonna be okay,’ to try and ease his nerves.
“Tragedies can be inspired by an array of things,” Loretta moved her arms so her hands were clasped in front of her. Again, Scott couldn’t help but listen for the rustling of jewelry. All he got was a usually steady pacing of her heart. If that even was her heart.
“Personal lives and historical events.” Lydia and Alice glance at each other as do Scott and Stiles. “They dive into the catharsis of their audience. Bringing pleasure through pain because we as humans—,” the teens share another look, “cannot help but find a sense of enjoyment in seeing the main character fail. Witness their downfall. Does that say something about us in how we view others?” The question was rhetoric, Loretta watching the students think in silence before shrugging. “That is for you to decide.”
*ring* *ring* *ring*
In a hurry students gather their belongings and make their way out the door. For the four teenagers planning to stay they are slow in their movements.
“Don’t forget tomorrow’s quiz is on Act five,” Loretta shouted lightly, pushing off from the desk only to walk around it. “Then we will begin our unit on Poe so be sure to have your textbooks with you.” As Loretta starts to erase the chalkboard the teens draw to the back door of the class to make it look like they're leaving but really they stop once Isaac enters. Then with a nod, “let’s do this,” they make their way back into the classroom.
Reaching the front row of the desks, the sound of Stiles bumping into a chair catches the woman’s attention, turning to face the group with perplexed eyes making them freeze like deer in headlights.
“Well hello,” Loretta places the eraser down, surprised to see five of her students behind her. “Wasn’t expecting you all to stay after the period ended. Everything alright?” She connects eyes with all, sensing their distress.
Scott is the first to speak, “We’re sorry to bother you when you’re busy, Miss. Andrews,” he felt his heart pick when he nearly addressed her by her real name. “We were just wondering if you could help us with something.”
“Is it about tomorrow’s quiz?” Loretta is calm, collected, and shows no signs of nervousness. “Because unfortunately if that’s the case I can’t—.”
“It’s about our history project,” Allison cuts in, causing the boys to give her a look that read ‘what are you doing?’ She gives a smile when Loretta tilts her head.
“Are you asking me to read over your report? Check for any grammatical errors? That I can do for you if you have a rough draft.”
“No,” Lydia rubs her neck, watching Loretta take a piece of chalk in her hand while bidding a glance at her lesson plans on the desk. Lydia licks her bottom lip, “more like we would like some advice if we have the facts right on it.” Loretta makes a sound between a laugh and scoff.
“I think you’re better suited asking your history teacher,” she raises her brow at them. Her heartbeat is steady against Scott’s ears, the werewolf catching Isaac’s eyes to see he heard the same. “I’m afraid my knowledge on whatever the topic of your project is will be limited compared to your teacher.”
“Actually,” Scott swallows, “We think you’re the best person there is to help us.”
Lorretta makes another sound, smirking lightly like the teens were humoring her, “Oh really?” Chalk in hand she faces the board to begin writing Friday’s plan. “Why is that?”
“Because it’s about Titanic.”
Instantly they watch her hand stop mid air, clutching the chalk in a grip they’re afraid it was going to snap in half. In fact, it did break in half. Not even two seconds after the words leave Scott’s mouth, however, her hand remains in the air. A slight tremor replacing the chalk as it clunks to the tile floor.
Silence fills the room as all time stops. Loretta was paralyzed where she stood. Back facing the group where they couldn’t see her face. But considering she was frozen like a statue, it wasn’t difficult to assume she had the same expression they did when they saw her picture the night before.
Scott takes a hesitant step closer, tone cautions as he mutters, “Y/n.” Her low gasp fills his ears, physically reacting to the name. Behind him the others tense, Isaac consciously moving closer to Scott as Stiles pushes the girls back. They all wait for her next move.
“Y/n—.”
Slowly her hand comes down, head dipping slightly, “How do you know?” The question sounded like Y/n knew this day would come. That in a town where supernatural beings resided she was bound to be discovered but hoped it would be some time before she did.
The teens couldn’t hold back the shudder when Y/n faced them. Her eyes lacked any color. Pitch black like onyx and void of friendlessness. It made them wonder if she was wearing contacts or the glimmer had seeped away to show what her real eyes were. They prayed for the former, for Peter had mentioned when a vampire was hungry their eyes would darken.
Her jaw clenched and Scott instantly straightened to prepare for any sudden attack. She was stronger than him—he knew just from Peter’s warnings. While he had Isaac and Allison armed with a silver dagger, they were no match for a 130 year old vampire who could move faster than they could blink. And if she had abilities….they were straight fucked.
Instead Y/n’s voice went low, repeating her question, “How. Do. You. Know.”
Scott gulped, finding his voice, “Stiles,” with his hand out he motioned for riddle. Stiles fumbles through the front pocket of his backpack, finding the paper and passing it over as Y/n stares the entire time. Carefully the alpha drops the riddle onto the desk, using his fingers to slide it towards her and watches as she picks it up. They are silent the entire time Y/n reads the written words, her mouth tightening as though she recognized the handwriting the moment her eyes met the first line.
Her eyes then close when she finishes the final verse. “He’s found me,” she doesn’t need their confirmation, “it’s been him all along.” Him all along referencing the murders. “I should’ve known.” Her eyes open and lock on Scott, “When did he leave you this?”
“Last night.”
“Where.”
“U-uh Derek Hale’s loft.”
“Hale,” Y/n whispers, the name familiar on her tongue. “Thalia’s son.”
“You know them?” Stiles was flabbergasted. “Y-you know what they are.”
“Of course I do,” Y/n sounded offended, causing the teen to wince. “I’ve been alive 130 years. I knew of the Hale pack when Thalia's grandparents were the leaders.” There’s a pause as her gaze moves to Scott, “And I know Scott is an Alpha. Isaac is a beta. Allison is a hunter—part of the renowned Argent family,” there was a hint of distaste behind Y/n’s tone causing Allison to stiffen. Y/n rests her eyes on the redhead before ending with Siles, “and Lydia is a banshee. But you are the only human, Mr. Stilinski. Which might I say is quite the surprise.”
Stiles scratches his neck, “R-really?”
“Yes. Usually humans don’t last long with supernaturals. Would’ve thought you’d be a beta by now—seeing that your best friend is an alpha.” Seeing his friends become uncomfortable with the assumption, Scott switches the subject.
“Next week is the anniversary of Titanic sinking,” her expression instantly changed. “You were there.”
“I was,” it came no louder than a whisper, a distant look within her eye indicating Titanic was still a painful memory for the woman. “And you know then—from this,” she holds up the riddle, “What I am? What I do?”
Each of them nod, “we do.” They still couldn’t wrap their heads around it. That their English teacher, of all people, was an immortal who was aboard Titanic.
“And you’re not running for the hills,” she hums, not sure whether to find them idiotic or courageous. “How interesting.”
“Well when you live in a town like Beacon Hills…you try to get used to it,” Stiles shrugs, a little terrified when Y/n’s expression reads that of, ‘you think you’ve seen it all? You have no idea what else is out there.’
“This is how we found you….” Lydia removes the printed article with the picture of Y/n wearing the necklace. Handing it to the woman, Lydia sees her face soften, eyes lingering on the pictures of her with Theodore and Benjamin.
“Forgot this existed honestly,” Y/n mutters, finger brushing over the image. “It’s the only picture we ever took as a family. And this one,” she points to the one of only her, “this was the first and last time I had a portrait done.” A hand comes up to her neck area, all eyes following the movement where they watch her remove the Heart of the Ocean from beneath the material. It was more exquisite in person than they imagined. A stunning blue diamond in the shape of a heart surrounded by white diamonds and all along the chain.
No wonder she kept it hidden. Anyone would’ve been drawn by the beauty of the jewelry if they were to see it. Then of course there was the tiny fact it was worth 350 million dollars and the link to her past.
Y/n lets out a pained chuckle, “I’m impressed you managed to piece it together. So quickly might I add.” Her finger runs along the surface of the diamond, “but then again, Heart of the Ocean is not something you hear everyday.”
“It’s the source of your glimmer, isn’t it?”
Y/n narrows her eyes at Scott’s question, “How do you know about the glimmer?”
Stiles is the one to answer, “Derek’s uncle seems to know everything about supernatural creatures. He was the one who figured out you and your creator were vampires. Then he explained how you were able to pass as human—why they wouldn’t be able to pick up on your scent.”
“He said vampires will sometimes wear enchanted jewelry,” Allison’s gaze went back to the necklace, flicking back to Y/n who had straightened her posture, “That Druid’s can make it so you’re not affected by the sun and give off a human scent. He suspected the Heart of the Ocean was it for you.”
Once again Y/n appeared impressed, “well he was right. Which is unfortunate for me,” she mutters almost annoyed, eyes going back to reread the riddle. Scott leans more against the desk.
“We need to know who is doing this, Y/n—Loretta, if that’s what you prefer,” he corrects when her hand flexes. “And why. He gave us this riddle to find you and now that we have we have no idea what’s gonna happen next. Do you have any clue why he’s doing this?”
Y/n let out a loud exhale—prompting Scott to remember it was for show since vampires didn’t need to breathe. Having to put up the facade of being human for so long likely had the mannerisms come naturea. The riddle drops onto the table. “His name is Sebastian Lavigne. Don’t bother trying to find him on the records of passengers aboard that night—,” Stiles’ hand pauses as he jots down the name. “Sebastian didn’t have a ticket. He was a stowaway who snuck aboard when the ship docked in France. Disguised himself as a crew member so he wouldn’t get caught.” She paused to sigh again, “Quite frankly I’m not even sure if that’s his real name—he’s likely going by another alias.”
“Kinda like you?”
Y/n made a face at Stiles’s question, but answered nonetheless. “If you haven’t noticed, Mr. Stilinski, I do not age. If we stay in a place too long people start to suspect, therefore we have to move consistently and with that comes an identity change. But I always knew him by Sebastian though to the public he went by a different name. And so did I,” she glances at photos of her. “I couldn’t go by my real name after Titanic because of who my family was and everyone thought I was dead. Then of course the fact I was now a blood-sucking creature.
“Sebastian is a deceitful man. And this riddle—,” a finger aggressively hits the paper a few times, “is just one of his many games. He knows exactly where I am and only did this to mess with you. Probably because he knows you’re onto him. He wanted you to figure out what he was. Leading you to me…it was to warn me he’s coming.”
Lydia tenses, feeling a wave of dread course through her, “why is wanting to find you?” Y/n crosses her arms over her chest, glaring at the floor.
“Because he’s angry I left him. That I broke away from him. Vampires are usually nomadic—hardly ever join up together. Kinda like how werewolves have packs to make them stronger, well….a group of vampires would decimate anything that stood in their way. Sebastian’s a man who desires power,” Y/n rubs her hand on her forearm. “And together we were powerful—especially with our gifts.”
“Gifts?” Scott’s heart skipped, thinking of Peter’s warning. “You both have gifts?”
“Yes,” Y/n didn’t sound proud of it. “Sebastian can compel you to do anything—you’ve heard of him,” Y/n’s shoulders slumped at their reaction.
Stiles flexes his hand, unease in his voice, “Peter told us about a vampire like that. Said he knew someone who encountered them. Is he the only one who can?” Y/n’s nod of confirmation only increases their anxiety.
“As far as I know, yes he is. His gift is powerful, but it only works close range. Meaning in order to be affected you have to be directly in front of him. Sebastian has to stare into one’s eyes to compel them,” Y/n glances to her feet again, “but once he does they have no choice but to do what he says. And combined with mine…..” she shudders, making them frown. “No one could stand a chance against us.”
“What can you do?” Allison asks, a little unsure if she even wanted to know.
“Make you see anything I want. Whether it be tapping into your memory or my own, I can conjure illusions. Illusions derived from your greatest fear causing you to become incapacitated,” everyone’s demeanor became that of concern. “As you can imagine it came in handy when traveling with Sebastian—especially against our enemies,” Y/n comes around the desk so she’s closer to the group, “or more like his enemies since it was always him who had to instigate conflict.”
Lydia’s eyes draw in suspicion, “Why’d you leave him?” It was the question everyone wanted the answer to. And Y/n didn’t appear happy to answer it.
“He’d been keeping things from me. During my time with Sebastian he liked to isolate me—keep me from interacting with others of our kind. He didn’t want me to know I could feed without preying on humans. Or about glimmer which is why I spent most of my days locked in doors and only came out at night. He kept me from my son,” her lips tightened, “I understood why at the time…but then I found out his motives.”
The air thickened in the classroom.
“Things that could have made my fate turn out different than what it was,” her voice turned cold, eyes darkening even more. “Yes, he pulled me from the water that night…but he didn’t have to turn me into this to save me. There was another way and he chose to turn me for what I was worth to him. So when I found out decades later the truth—that he had turned me for his own selfish gain. Robbing me of the life I could have had with my son and family…”
Y/n’s hand moves to the jewelry on her neck, “I found the closest Druid I could find and had them enchant this. That way he’d lose my scent and be unable to track me.” Her hand comes back down with a sigh, “But somehow he always manages to be a step ahead of things.”
“How long ago did you escape him?” Scott wonders aloud.
“Forty years ago.”
Stiles’s jaw drops, “He’s been hunting you for four decades?”
“Likely so. With me he was more powerful. With me he was more rich,” Y/n explained, tone bitter with each word. “Shortly after we returned to New York he compelled me into robbing my own home. The amount we stole still hasn’t run dry—at least not for me,” a tinge of a smirk indicated Y/n left him with nothing when she escaped. “So I wouldn’t put it past him for devoting this many years to find me. But it’s not to get me into his good graces, no, he wants to punish me. And the best way to punish me is to play games like this,” lightning fast her hand grasps the riddle and crutches it between her fingers. “To cause chaos and hurt innocent people because he knows how much I hated it when we did. The murders. Leaving you this riddle. He won’t stop even after he’s got what he wants.”
Scott’s shoulders drop slightly, “And what does he want?”
“To kill me. Scott,” Y/n’s words send a shiver along his body. “I’ve made a life of myself without him—one where I try everyday to make up for the things I did with him. Preying on humans. Torturing the minds of those Sebastian hated. He wants me to feel that shame and regret before he finishes the job. Because that’s what he does, however, now that he’s brought you all into his game there’s not going to be an end until he’s satisfied. Once he’s through with me you will become his prime source of entertainment. Or, he’ll see you as a benefit and want to corrupt you. Just like he did to me.”
Silence fills the room as the teens take in the new information. All deep in thought wondering what to do or say next. The reality of Sebastian’s cruel nature and games proves beyond their expertise. They weren’t sure exactly how to go about it. Finding Y/n was the first step, but from what she’s told them it would not be enough.
He’ll still kill. He might even target them next—especially if they refuse whatever offer he could be planning. Y/n didn’t have to go into detail that Scott’s status as a True Alpha with a pack of unlikely allies would be something Sebastian would want to control.
And with his gift of compelling….
“We need to know what he looks like,” Scott’s the first to speak. Determination fills his gaze, “He’s got the advantage right now—a-and if he’s glimmered like you then he’s probably been passing as human.” He turns to Y/n, pleading with her for help. “You said you can show illusions. Ones that can be from your memory—can you show one with him?” The sound she responds with is one of defeat.
“He compelled me, shortly after he turned me, to erase his image from my memory because he was paranoid about us running into vampires who could read minds or Druids who could make me tap into my subconscious.” Everyone deflated at the news, but then Y/n perked up causing them to do the same. “But….he when did, he only said, ‘from this moment on.’”
Scott took a step closer, eyes full of hope, “What does that mean?”
“It means I can show you,” Y/n’s voice is low and tainted with slight dread. “I can show you the night he turned me. The night Titanic sank.”
Later that evening the pack gathered at Deaton’s clinic. It was just after sunset, around 8pm and some were starting to become impatient.
“Is she coming?” Peter grunted from where he stood leaning against a wall. “Or was this all a distraction.”
“She’s gonna be here,” Scott insisted, eyes narrowed slightly. Truth be told he was starting to worry. Y/n had promised she’d be at the clinic by nightfall but had yet to show.
“Well the clock is ticking,” Stiles fiddled with his fingers nervously.
Allison looks at the man beside her, who was checking to see if his gun was loaded with the proper bullets. “You know you didn’t have to come, dad.” Chris raises a brow, putting the safety on and placing the weapon back in its holster.
“And leave you and your friends alone with a gifted vampire who’s the reasons a psychotic one is causing hell around town? Not a chance.”
“Have you ever hunted one before?” Her voice drops to a whisper, though it doesn’t do much for those with enhanced hearing. Derek, Peter, Scott, and Isaac heard the question loud and clear.
Chris shakes his head, “No. They’re rare and not many are in America—but your great-grandfather came into contact with one in the fifties. Left us with what to do if we ever dealt with one.”
Allison gives her father a look of warning, “You can’t hurt her, dad.”
“If she gives me a reason to, I will.”
“She won’t,” she presses, aware Scott and Derek had their eyes on them. The former looked anxious.
“You don’t know how unpredictable and manipulative vampires are, Allison. None of you do.”
“She’s been in Beacon Hills for months. We asked her how she gets her blood and she said she’s been taking bags from the ER—not feeding on the town’s people,” the teen pleads, surprised with herself for defending Y/n so easily. Maybe it was the fact the vampire had been robbed of her life that made Allison sympathize. Or because she could feel the anger and fury Y/n had for her creator that she believed Y/n would stop at nothing to take him down. “And she hasn’t given any reason for us to believe she’s been working with Sebastian. She hates him, dad.” Chris doesn’t appear convinced.
“She was with him for sixty years—.”
“And she’s been without him for forty,” Allison cuts him off, promptly ending the argument. Another minute passes before all freeze at the sound of Deaton’s door chime ringing. Motioning with a hand, the doctor enters the lobby where he is met with a woman wearing a tan trench coat and boots. She spun around when she heard him approach, allowing Deaton to see the stunning jewelry around her neck. Instantly he felt the magic running through it.
“You’re the Druid,” were the first words from her mouth. “Scott told me about you.” Deaton offers a small smile.
“You must be Y/n,” when she visibly reacted to the name he apologized, “I’m sorry, would you prefer to be called—.” Her hand lifts to stop him.
“No, no. It’s fine—I’m just getting used to hearing that name again. It’s been so long since anyone other than ....” She trails off, not wanting to say his name. Deaton understands with a light nod, moving to open the gate.
“You don’t have to explain. Please, come in.”
“Did Scott inform you what to prepare?” She asks as she passes, receiving a nod from the man.
“Yes. I’m quite familiar with its effects—but I made sure to not make it too strong.” Leading Y/n into the back room, she stills at the sight of those she didn’t recognize, namely the man beside Allison and the two leaning against the wall. Everyone straightens when she arrives and her eyes go straight to Scott.
“You didn’t say we’d have guests.” Her tone is weary, making Scott move closer to show her it was okay.
“That’s Derek Hale and his uncle Peter,” a finger points to the two, glaring when he notices Peter’s eyes linger on Y/n’s figure. While he couldn’t blame him given Y/n’s striking beauty there were more important matters at the moment. “He’s the one who helped us figure out what you were.” He hears the woman make a sound similar to ‘hmph’, causing Peter to smirk and give a mock wave. Scott rolls his eyes, motioning to Chris, “And that’s Allison’s father, Chris Argent.”
Y/n’s expression tightens, appearing slightly uncomfortable with the lineup. Four werewolves, two hunters, a Druid, and a banshee? Vampires were strong creatures but even they could become intimidated. “Quite the party we have going on then.”
Stiles clears his throat to appease the tension, “uh what took you so long?” The question snaps Y/n out of the intense staring contest going on between her, Peter, and Chris. She removes her gloves to place them in her pocket.
“Well considering I’ve been out of practice I needed a pick me up to ensure my power would be at its best,” lips curl up, almost menacing which has Chris inch his hand closer to the holster. She sees the gesture and raises a brow in challenge, “Don’t worry, hunter. I didn’t sink my teeth into anything other than a donation bag.” She pays no mind to his glare, instead removing the Heart of the Ocean from her neck.
When Y/n does this a new smell enters the room right as the unusual steady pacing of her heart stops beating. The aroma is overbearing with vanilla and lavender—even for those without an enhanced sense of smell. For the werewolves, they perked up as they had never smelled anything so delightful.
“You smell that?” Y/n closes her eyes as she drops the necklace into the other pocket.
“Yeah.” Scott takes another waff of the scent, turning to her only to draw back in surprise when she opens her eyes to reveal deep red eyes replacing the color they once were. The lights from above almost made them glow. “Woah.” From behind Scott the others react to the changes of Y/n’s appearance.
Stiles and Isaac had to do a double take to make sure what he was seeing was real. Lydia and Allison shared a glance, both shuddering when Y/n made eye contact with them. Chris straightens his posture again, only amusing the vampire and Peter appears rather intrigued.
“Vampires have to lure their prey somehow,” She starts to explain. “It’s stronger for you wolves, but even you who are not are drawn by it. Makes you want to get closer, huh?” Y/n steps away, moving towards Deaton who reappears after going to the back closet to retrieve an object resembling a goblet.
“I can’t hear your heart anymore,” Scott’s tone is laced with confusion at the sudden decrease of heartbeats in the room.
“You never did. It was an illusion from the glimmer—so any creature I come into contact with would think I’m human. My heart stopped the night I turned,” the smirk she wore fell to a tight frown, “it won’t ever beat again.”
An eerie silence fills the room, her words lingering in the air. No doubt causing suspicion now that they were aware Y/n could lie and they would have no way of knowing. She could’ve been lying about everything honestly. Now they were left to wonder if any of what she said before was true.
But why would she lie? She’s made it awfully clear of her resentment for Sebastian.
The attention goes to Y/n as she removes the scalpel from Deaton’s tray and raises it to her palm. “W-what—what are you doing?” Stiles nearly gags when the skin breaks and a dark liquid like blood flows from the wound. It spills into the goblet, where a smell that could only be described as death replaces the once vanilla aroma. Deaton begins stirring the substance with a spoon while Y/n explains.
“As I’ve mentioned…” The cut disappeared without a trace not a second after Y/n lifted her hand away from the goblet. “I haven't used my power in ages—and while I fed earlier it may not be enough for it to be at its full potential. So to do this I need to remove any mental barriers from your mind.”
“And we have to drink your blood for it to work,” Peter rolls his eyes at how ironic it sounds, “how fitting.”
Y/n narrows her eyes at the man, “If you’re worried about it becoming a vampire you need not to worry. There’s no venom—that only comes from a bite. Sound familiar?” The air becomes thick and Scott moves between the two when Peter's eyes flash blue.
“What’s it going to do, Y/n?”
The vampire takes the goblet from Deaton, passing it to the teenager first, “Open your mind. To do so my blood is mixed with decade old sap from the Nematon and a rare form of wolfsbane. You’ll feel some discomfort,” she points out when all the wolves instantly become hesitant at the mention of wolfsbane, “but it won’t kill you. I need your mental state to be vulnerable. Ignore the smell—I know it’s revolting but it’ll taste like dry, bitter wine.”
Scott stares at the goblet before taking it in his hands. Inside the contents was a dark liquid with a smell that made him want to gag. He couldn’t help but ask Deaton, “You’re sure about this?”
“I’ve never worked with this before but I know someone who has. It’s potent but short lasting and won’t affect you once it’s out of your system in a few hours.” Deaton gives a look of assurance, “You might feel a pressure in your head that’s like a headache.”
Y/n adds on to the vet, “that’s so show your mental walls are dropping. But like your emissary said it’s temporary. Allowing me enough time to show you my memories in the form of illusions. But I must warn you all,” she pauses to glance at each of them. “My illusions are like vivid dreams. Where it feels real. Your body will remain paralyzed here, but your mind will be somewhere else. Not only will you see what I have to show you,” Y/n’s entire demeanor becomes serious once more. “You’ll be able to hear everything. Feel everything. The sun's rays. The cool breeze. The freezing waters…..It will be as though you’re experiencing it in real time.”
There’s a pause, letting the reality sink in on what the vampire was implying. “My question is….are all of you wishing to see what I have to show you? Now is the time to step out if you’re having second thoughts.” When no one objects, despite all looking relatively nervous, Y/n clasps her hands in front her. “Well, Scott, start us off.”
“We all have to drink it?” Stiles cringes when he’s passed the cup, Scott letting out a gag after the taste hits his tongue. Y/n smirks as she nods.
“Unless you would like to sit this out, Stiles, then yes.” Groaning, the teen plugs his nose and takes a swig before handing it to Isaac. Even after taking several gulps of water the awful taste of iron and wood remained.
One by one each person took their turn of downing the potion, with Deaton as the last one to do so. Within seconds it took effect, the most notable sign being the headache forming. Then a light feeling started to swirl all along their body. Like they were on cloud 9.
“Is this what it’s supposed to feel like?” Derek moaned, squinting when the light suddenly started to become brighter.
“You’ll get used to it in a moment,” Y/n’s closes her eyes, taking a deep breath despite not needing one. It was mostly to calm her nerves as she allowed the memory dug deep within her mind to surface. A moment later the warmth of the sun hit her skin. The smell of fresh paint and sea salt filling her nose. And the sound of a ship's whistle and people shouting echoed in her ears.
The others gasped, making Y/n open her eyes where she found them all, mouth agape and eyes bulging as though they couldn’t believe what they were seeing, staring at whatever was behind her. And when she turned around, Y/n’s lips curled up into a sad smile.
Seeing the ship of dreams again after decades filled her with an emotion she couldn’t describe—she couldn’t imagine what the pack were thinking. Probably wondering if it was a dream and they’d wake up any second. The memory was as clear as the day it was made—everything around them was exactly like it was that bright sunny Wednesday afternoon.
It was like they traveled back in time to April 10th, 1912.

Protectors- magic bullet
Derek hale x reader
Tumblr media
Hi ok so this took so long to wright omg, anyway I hope you like it there's not a lot of moments between Derek and reader but I added a more at the end
Ps (Her healing looks much like Derek’s except the color.)
Y/n stood behind Derek as he bent down looking at a drop of blood. “Do you know whose it is?” She whispered, bending down behind him. “No, it’s like the scent is covered” he whispered back. The pair heard something causing them to look around on high alert. Y/ns senses were more heightened than Derek’s in times like these. Y/n turned her head forward seeing the alpha climb the side of the building across from them. Seeing this she sprinted towards it assuming Derek was right behind her, she was right. She knew when she saw Derek running right beside her jumping over objects trying to catch up to the alpha. They climbed to the roof of a random building and Derek sniffed the air trying to catch its scent while y/n tried tracking its energy. Y/n jumped to the next roof about to start running after the alpha again but before she could a gunshot rang through the air causing her to turn to where the sound came from only to see Derek fall back and off the roof. Y/n quickly ran to the edge of the roof and muttered a spell to somewhat break his fall.
Once y/n saw that he was on the ground and alive she jumped off the roof using the same spell she used on Derek to break her fall. Once she landed she ran to Derek who was perched up against a random building. “Damn it Derek” she whispered shouted as she reached him falling down to her knees lifting up his sleeve to see the bullet wound letting out some sort of a blue smoke. Derek’s face winced in pain as he leaned his head back against the building. “Here let me try and take some of the pain” she whispered, grabbing his arm but before she could mutter the spell Derek’s other hand slapped hers away “no don’t you're gonna use too much energy.” He huffed out. Y/n looked at him as if the was the dumbest thing she had ever heard “you do know it is my job to protect the people I live and you are at the very top of the list right?” She asked before putting her hand right back in the place it was causing him to glare at her. “Glare all you want to wolf man we’re not leaving until you let me take some of your pain away” she said muttering a spell causing her eyes to glow the vibrant purple and purple lines began to flow up hers and Derek’s arm. His tense body relaxed at the feeling of relief. “Come on we gotta go before whoever shot you comes to finish off the job” she said before helping the wounded werewolf up.
Time skip————
It is now the next day school had just let out and Derek and y/n met at the back of the school. “So did you find him?” She asked Derek who was very ill looking. He leaned up against the school building “no” he huffed “did you?” He asked. Yn sighed worried “no but I did find out he’s going out to Allison’s today, she may have the bullet in her house, considering Kate’s here” she mumbled the last part but she knew Derek heard her. “What?” His head shot up at this. “Oh nothing, just your physic ex-girlfriend is in town. No biggie” y/n sassed finding her nails interesting. She then shook her head and helped Derek up as he now could barely walk without any assistance. “Whatever we’ll talk about this when you're not on the brink of death, plus school just let out so they should be in the parking lot” she said. When they reached the Parking lot they stopped right in the middle of the road when Derek unexpectedly collapsed bringing y/n with him. She heard a tire screech and a ‘Jesus these guys are everywhere’ coming from inside she immediately knew it was stiles and she let out a breath of relief. “Der you gotta try and control your shift if not that then your eyes” she whispers as Scott and stiles came running from beside stiles jeep “what are you doing here” Scott asked. “I was shot” Derek said, breathing heavily. “He’s not looking so good dude” stiles says to Scott
“He can't, I've been trying to heal him all night, it was a different kind of bullet” y/n spoke up from behind him. She was behind Derek keeping him upright. “A silver bullet?” Stiles asked, leaning forward a bit. “No you idiot” “wait, wait, that’s what she meant when she said you have 48 hours” Scott said in recollection. “Wha- who said that” y/n asked, her voice stern. “The person who shot him” Scott replied. Before y/n could say anything Derek’s body tensed and his eyes shifted again. Scott looked around in panic “what are you doing stop that” he said. “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you, I can’t” Derek growled. “Derek, get up” Scott commanded. People around them started to get impatient honking their horns ready to leave the school.
Stiles helped Scott lift Derek off of y/n and put him in stiles jeep. Y/n grabbed Scott’s arm “Scott I need you to find out what bullet she used” y/n commanded voice stern. “How the hell am I supposed to do that?” Scott asked. Derek spoke up from the jeep “she’s an argent, she’s with them”. Scott looked at Derek “why should I help you, y/n I’d help but why you?” He asked. At this y/n pushed Scott’s shoulder back becoming defensive “because you need him I can only teach you so much, but if he dies, I will kill you myself, and it will be a slow and very painful death” she threatened. “Find the goddamn bullet” she ordered. Scott looked at her for a second “fine, I’ll try”. At this y/n smiled and patted his shoulder muttering ‘good choice’ and got into the jeep and stiles took off. Stiles drove impatiently as he called Scott repeatedly. He turned to Derek “hey- try not to bleed out on my seats okay? We’re almost there”he says. Y/n perks up at this and Derek asks the same question she was about to ask “almost where?”. Stiles sighed and looked at y/n through the rear view mirror and said “to your house”. “What no you can’t take me there” Derek says. At this y/n looks at him in confusion “wha- I can’t take you to your house?” Stiles asked as if he had just heard the dumbest thing in the world. “Not if I can’t protect myself” he said “umm excuse me?” Yn spoke up from the back “I can’t leave you to protect us both y/n” Derek says rolling his eyes “hun I’m literally made to protect multiple beings at once… it’s my job, but if it makes you feel better fine” she mumbled the last part.
Stiles speaks up from the driver's seat aggravated “so what happens if Scott doesn’t find your little magical bullet hmm? Are you dying? '' he said, waving his unoccupied hand. “No I have a last resort” he said. This was news to y/n so she leaned forward “care to fill me in on it” she asked as Derek pulled up his sleeve. Upon seeing the wound stiles gagged in disgust turning the car engine off “oh my g- is that contagious? You know what you should probably just get out.” He said disgusted using his arm to cover the view of the wound. “Start the car” Derek growled. “I don't think you should be barking orders with the way you look, okay? In fact, I think, if I wanted to, I could probably drag your little Werewolf ass out into the middle of the road and leave you for dead.” Stiles threatened with a boost of confidence. Y/n sat back entertained by her boyfriend and brother bickering with each other. “Start the car or I’m gonna rip your throat out… with my teeth '' Derek threatened. Y/n almost laughed out loud at the look on stiles face as he cranked up the engine. Y/n sat for a second before a sharp pain pierced her brain causing her to let out a gasp and pulled into a vision.
“Y/n” she heard her voice being called as she looked at her surroundings but she couldn’t see anything just plain white. “Who’s there?” Y/n said taking a defensive stance ready for anything. “Calm down child” the voice said. “Who are you? What do you want from me?” She asked. “Y/n I’ve been waiting to speak with you, your mind is very strong” the voice said. “Yeah it’s like that for a reason, who are you?” She asked again, still looking around, “I don't have a lot of time, your mind will only allow it for so long, listen, protect those around you. But don’t get pulled into ill intentions.” The voice said. “What the hell does that mean?” She asked. “Language” the voice said slightly louder. “Sorry?” Y/n said. “What does that mean? Who around me has ill intentions.” She asked. “Don’t let the need for power cloud your judgment” the voice said. Y/n shook her head confused just as she was about to ask another question she was pulled out of the vision
When she opened her eyes she saw stiles pulling into the animal clinic, “what the hell are we doing here” she asked. “Scott told me to take you here, never mind that, what the hell happened to you?” Stiles asked. “A vision?” She replied looking down thinking about what the voice said . “You get visions?” He asked surprised. “It’s been a long time since I’ve had one but this one was different” hearing this Derek turned to her and asked “different how?” before she shook her head dismissing what he had just asked and got out of the jeep and helping Derek out and into the vet.
Once settled Derek took his shirt off making stiles Gag once again at his wound “okay, you know, that really doesn’t look like anything some echinacea and a good nights sleep couldn’t take care of” he said covering his view of the wound y/n was looking around for anything that could possibly help Derek “if the infection reached his heart it’ll kill him” she said opening a drawer filled with herbs. “Positivity just isn’t in your vocabulary is it?” He asked exasperatedly. “If he doesn’t get the bullet in time- last resort” Derek said, looking like a small gust of wind could knock him out. Y/n turned towards him still not aware of this “last resort” so she asked “you ever plan on letting me know what this ‘last resort’ is?” While folding her arms. “What she said” Stiles said, mentioning to the girl behind him. Derek pulled a tool out and placed it on the table “your gonna cut my arm off” he huffed. At this the two groaned stiles in distress and y/n in annoyance.
“What if you bleed to death” y/n heard a very faint heartbeat getting louder. She walked out of the room and to the entrance of the clinic she saw Scott on his bike. At the sight y/n let out a breath of relief abt he had been holding in since Derek had been shot but she was still afraid that it wouldn’t work. Scott jumped off his bike and ran through the door of the clinic “Y/N? STILES?” He yelled y/n grabbed his arm and pulled him into the room where stiles was holding the tool to Derek’s arm “I leave for five seconds!” Y/n yelled, taking the tool from stiles. Stiles sighs in relief “oh thank god” he says “you just prevented a lifetime of nightmares”.
Derek looks at Scott “did you get it?” He asked and Scott pulls out a bullet and gives it to Derek who immediately it’s the tip off and pours the gunpowder on the table before collapsing to the ground. Y/n ran to Derek's side and stiles to the other “oh god is he dead” stiles yelled in distress. “No he passed out you idiot” she said, placing her hand on his chest to send a to his heart hoping it would wake him up and it did. Derek sat up immediately and stood up using the table to keep himself stable. He grabbed a lighee and put the flame up to the powder and blue smoke evaporated from the powder making the powder now available to heal Derek so he took it in his hand and put it into his wound making him from to the ground writhing in pain while shifted. Y/n found the sight hot but she wouldn’t comment on it… right now.
After about seven seconds Derek was finally healed and the color returned back to his face. When y/n saw that he was completely healed she went to hug Derek but Scott cut her off ranting about Allison and the argents making y/n roll her eyes and groan “am I ever gonna get my boyfriend back to myself” she mumbled leaving the two. Stiles followed behind the girl and asked if she needed a ride soon after hearing Derek was taking Scott somewhere. The girl took his offer and let him drive her home where she waited about an hour for Derek to return.
Y/n was standing in the mirror when Derek entered the room sighing. “You left” he said. “Yeah well you had a date with Scotty boy and I was tired so…” she replied turning towards the man “a date huh?” He teased grabbing her hips pulling her closer to him smirking. “Yes, a date” she said, biting back a smile. They stared in each other's eyes for a second before Derek leaned down and kissed y/n softly. She bought her arms to wrap around his neck kissing back. He pulled away, putting his forehead to hers. She smiled looking into the green eyes that she had grown to love so deeply “I was really worried you know” she said. “I know, but I also know that you won’t let anything happen to me” he said, meaning every word. And he was right, y/n would give her own life to save anyone she loved, especially him. “Let’s get some sleep, after you take a shower because you stink, stiles wasn’t lying” she said the last part before running out of the room knowing the mention of stiles aggravates Derek because in his words ‘I have had enough of stiles for a lifetime’. About an hour later Derek entered the room with his hair wet and in sweats. “It seems like you’ve been shirtless all day.” Y/n teased. Derek payed down next to y/n “don’t act like you don’t like seeing me shirtless.” He said. “Oh no I love seeing you shirtless, you should have seen yourself when you were healing” she said, raising her eyebrows smiling. Derek turned towards her in astonishment “are you saying I’m hot when I’m in pain?” He asked smirking “whaaat nooo I would never” y/n said dragging out her words. “I was in pain y/n!” He said incredulously. “I know but I can’t help it… you were flexing your muscles and everything” she said sheepishly “go to sleep” Derek said still in disbelief making y/n let out a laugh. “Ok seriously I’m tired goodnight der” she said and he replied with a good night.

Gif drabble with Chris argent reader and peter hale
I love this Gif. It's so sweet. Sorry it took me a bit to get to. Enjoy!
Morals
Pairing: Chris Argent x Reader x Peter Hale
You hadn't seen Chris in over a week and your heart was aching. Part of you wondered if he'd ever come back to the two of you. You knew Peter had to be hurting just as much but he hid it well, insisting on comforting and caring for you. He continued to assure you Chris would return soon and everything would go back to normal.
You'd been injured. Worse than ever before. The only chance for your survival was the bite. Chris had refused, said it wasn't their decision to make. Peter argued you wouldn't want to leave them. Any of them. Scott agreed and bit you as you clung to life in your hospital bed.
Chris hovered at the edge of your room as they waited to see if you'd live or die. When you began to heal, he'd walked out of the hospital and no one had seen him since. Not even Allison, if she was telling the truth.
This was the first time Peter had left you alone since you'd come home. Not that there was much choice. You were in desperate need of groceries plus he needed to see the family attorney about something. You made yourself comfortable on the couch to binge watch your current obsession. Somewhere along the way, you drifted off to sleep.
You startled awake when a body nestled between your legs. Arms wrapped around your waist as a head rested on your chest. You sucked in a breath when you realized it was your hunter instead of the werewolf you were expecting.
You hesitated only a beat before running your fingers through his hair. "I missed you." Your voice was soft, betraying none of the tears you'd cried since he left.
He turned so he was looking up at you, his chin resting on your chest. Those piercing blue eyes searched yours. "I'm sorry, baby. I needed to leave."
You swallowed the lump in your throat. "Are you that upset that I'm a werewolf?"
A beautiful smile curled his lips. "You're alive. How can I possibly be upset by that?"
"Then why did you go?" you asked with a frown.
He pursed his lips as he thought of the best way to answer. Finally, he gave a little shrug and turned his head to lay his head back down. He nuzzled against you and tightened his hold. "I went hunting."
Your frown deepened even as your fingers resumed playing with his hair. "What?"
"You didn't think we'd let him live after what he did to you, did you?" Peter answered for him.
Your gaze darted to the voice to find your other love leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his chest. "We?" You licked your lips. "You knew where he was this entire time. Why didn't you tell me? I thought he hated me."
Chris scoffed. "Not possible."
Peter arched a brow. "I told you he loved you as much as ever and he'd be home soon."
You tossed your hands in the air in annoyance. "I thought you were just trying to make me feel better. I didn't think you actually knew anything."
He smirked. "We flipped a coin at the hospital. Heads meant Chris stayed with you and I went after the asshole. Tails meant the opposite."
"Why didn't you just tell me?"
Peter stepped closer. "Sweetheart, you may be able to kick some ass--and god, it's hot when you do--but your morals aren't quite as loose as ours. You can't get mad at us for killing him if you never got the chance to tell us not to."
You shook your head. "I don't think that's how that works, but okay." You tugged at Chris' hair. "And you. You could have called."
"As soon as I heard your voice I would have turned around and come back home." He kissed your stomach. "It needed to be done, baby."
"Not arguing with you, Argent. Just clue me in next time and don't disappear like that again."
Both men looked at you in surprise. You rolled your eyes. "My morals are looser than you think."
Chris grinned while Peter laced his fingers through your hair. He tilted your head back and kissed you soundly on the lips. "We'll keep that in mind, sweetheart."

Y/N: “I want you Peter. And I know you and Chris want me too. So, just take me already.”
Peter: “You’re playing a dangerous game, sweetheart. Once you’re in, there’s no going back. You sure you want this?”
Y/N: “I’m sure.”

Chris Argent was on his way out the front door when the two girls, both looking tired, appeared at the top of the stairs.
“What’s going on?” Allison asked her father, while Y/N inspected the duffle bag he had over his shoulder. She immediately tensed.
“Your aunt Kate texted. She’s having car trouble,” Argent smiled at his daughter. Y/N could tell the smile was fake. She frowned and leaned her head to the side a bit, while she raised an eyebrow at the man downstairs.
“Car trouble?” She asked. Chris’ lips twitched as he kept the smile on his face.
“Yes. A flat tire. Why don’t you two go back to sleep? You have school in the morning.” Allison nodded and disappeared back into her room, not catching the lie in her father’s words. Y/N slowly walked down the stairs so she didn’t have to talk loudly and risk Allison overhearing.
“Car trouble, huh? Does the car have a bit of fur, glowy eyes, and fangs?” She quietly asked, grabbing his duffle bag and feeling up the stuff inside it through the cloth of the bag.
“Maybe. Go back to bed. You don’t want me to call your brothers, do you?” Argent asked. The youngest Winchester rolled her eyes.
“As if I haven’t already called them.” She mumbled under her breath, watching Argent leave.
⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
“Sammy I’m telling you she’s creepy as hell. Not as creepy as Victoria, but the has some kind of bad feeling about her. I don’t know how to explain it. She has the vibes of a person that likes to fuck up teenagers,” Y/N was walking to school as she explained to her brother everything about her meeting Kate Argent just a few minutes earlier.
“It can’t be that bad, can it? Anyway, I have some news. Are you ready?” Sam asked. She could hear him talk to Dean about something.
“Yeah, I think so. What am I supposed to be ready for?” Y/N looked around and then crossed the road toward a park. She could hear someone say something that sounded like ‘do it now’ and then there was a familiar whoosh of air behind her that made her freeze in place.
“You’re kidding.” She said, her voice shaking.
“I’m not. He might be kinda… Not in the right head space but it’s him.” Sam said before he said his goodbyes and hung up, leaving her to deal with the situation alone. She slowly lowered the phone from her ear and took a deep breath before turning around. And there he stood. The first thing she noticed was the lack of a tie, but after that, he just turned into a blurry figure as her eyes filled up with tears.
“Cas!” She squealed, jumping into his arms and hugging him tightly.
“Hello Y/N,” he said. Y/N wiped her tears into his trenchcoat before looking up at him and touching his cheek.
“Oh my god, it’s really you! I- How? When? Why didn’t you all call me right away?” She wanted to ask much more but she didn’t get the chance. There was a blue jeep approaching. It stopped on the side of the road right next to the park and honked to get Y/N’s attention.
“Oh, that’s Stiles. C’mon, I have to introduce you two. All I’m saying is he made me mad a few days ago and is currently trying to make it up. Don’t you dare say anything to Dean or he will come here and threaten him with a gun or something,” Y/N grabbed Cas by his arm and pulled him towards the jeep.
“Is he your boyfriend?” Castiel asked staring at Stiles through the window. Y/N choked on air.
“Wha- No. Why is everyone- Nevermind.” She shook her head and smiled at Stiles as he slowly rolled down his window.
“Hi.” She said.
“Hi?” Stiles asked and looked at Castiel.
“Hello. I am Castiel.” Cas said, making Y/N facepalm.
“I’ll explain later. Cas this is Stiles. He is one of my friends. Stiles, this is Castiel. I will tell you more about him when we get to school. We are going to be late,” she checked the time on her phone.
“I will get back to your brothers. Pray if you need me,” Castiel said and with a blink of an eye, he was gone. Stiles just stared with his mouth open. Y/N giggled when she saw him and quickly hopped inside the jeep.
“Close your mouth, Stilinski.”
⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
Y/N spent the whole day at school with headphones in her ears, ignoring the not-so-quiet whispers of her two friends about who could have bitten Scott if not Derek. She was too happy about Castiel being alive to get herself involved in conversations.
At the end of all of their classes, she walked out of the school building listening to Stiles explaining all of Scott’s concerns. So she basically knew everything that happened while her earphones were blasting music the whole day anyway.
“Oh- my god!” Stiles suddenly hit the brakes right after they got out of his parking spot.
“What-” Y/N looked up from her belt buckle. She noticed Derek in front of the car, not looking good.
“Dammit,” she quickly unbuckled herself and jumped out of the jeep. She got next to Derek just as his legs gave out and he was about to fall.
“Crap, Stiles help me get him inside of the jeep,” she shot her friend a look and started making tiny steps towards the passenger seat. She was holding Derek up by herself until Stiles finally remembered how to function and helped hold him up from the other side. They helped the werewolf up on the seat and Y/N buckled his belt, just in case. She closed the door and then got into the backseat through Stiles’ side. Stiles quickly climbed into the driver's seat and started the car, just when Scott finally decided to show up.
“What the hell?” The young wolf asked Derek, who wasn’t looking so great.
“I was shot,” Derek groaned. That made Y/N lean over to look over the seat. She was trying to find the bullet wound.
“Why aren’t you healing?” Scott asked again. Y/n was considering slapping him in the face. It was obvious hunters were involved. And hunters meant wolfsbane. Also Argents, but that was not the problem right now.
“Derek, who shot you?” She asked quickly, but Derek ignored her.
“It was a different kind of bullet. I can’t heal.”
“What, a silver bullet?” Stiles asked excitedly. Y/N smacked his head.
“He is dying. Why are you excited? How do you want to explain a dead criminal inside of your car to your dad?” She whisper yelled. Stiles’ eyes grew wide as if he just realized this.
“Wait, that’s what she meant when she said you had forty-eight hours-” Scott said.
“Who- who said forty-eight hours?” Derek groaned.
“The one who shot you,” Scott said as if it was obvious. Y/N wanted to scream. Derek groaned in pain, this time his eyes flashed. Y/N quickly put her hands on his face so she covered them up.
“Winchester, you are lucky I like you or I would rip your hands off right now,” Derek mumbled.
“Scott you need to figure out what kind of bullet they used,” Y/N looked at her friend.
“What? Why me?”
“Because you are dating Allison. And the person who shot Derek is her aunt. She has them stashed in her room, most probably,” Y/N explained already trying to come up with a plan B.
“Why should I help him?” Scott asked.
“Because if you don’t I’m going to mix all the wolfsbane that’s in the house and shove it down your throat while you sleep. Now go!” Y/N shoved Scott’s chest through the window and told Stiles to drive.
⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
They were driving through the streets of Beacon Hills when Y/N realized they were on the way toward the preserve.
“Stiles, stop the car.”
“Why? We are almost there.”
“Almost where?” Derek joined the conversation.
“Your house,” Stiles said as he parked the jeep. Derek quickly turned to look at him and just as he opened his mouth to say something, Y/N beat him to it.
“Stiles, you can’t take him to his house. He was shot. By a hunter. Who knows where he lives and who probably came only to finish the job,” Y/N explained. Derek winced at the last part but Stiles ignored it, he didn’t know the full story anyway so he didn’t find it weird.
“Where am I supposed to take him then?” He asked.
“I don’t know. I’ll call Scott. Drive somewhere else though,” Y/N already pulled out her phone and searched for Scott’s number.
“But-”
“Start the car and drive. Now. Or I’m gonna rip your throat out… with my teeth.”
⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
They ended up going to the animal clinic. Stiles and Derek were in the middle of a fight about Stiles chopping Derek’s arm off when Y/N got an idea.
“Noone is going to chop anyone’s arm off,” she said quickly coming over to get the saw away from them.
“But-” Stiles started just as Derek collapsed.
“Fuck. Castiel if you hear me this is the time for you to show up. Please.”
“Like the dude from this morning?” Stiles asked and let out a noise when the trenchcoated man appeared right in front of him.
“You need my help?” Castiel asked. Y/N quickly pulled him towards Derek.
“Heal him. Please. We are running out of time and Scott got held up and-” Y/N started explaining everything at once. Castiel just pressed his fingers to Derek’s forehead and let his hand glow. Stiles watched all of the black veins disappear from Derek’s body.
“Whoa,” he let out and leaned closer so he could get a better view.
“There,” Cas said.
“Thank you. Thank you so much Cas,” Y/N hugged him. At the same time, Derek opened his eyes and sat up with a gasp.
“I have the bullet!” Scott ran through the door just a few seconds later.
⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
After Stiles went home, Derek took Y/N, Scott, and Cas to the hospital. He wanted to show Scott how kind is the family of hunters he likes so much. Y/N was there as a support and Cas just tagged along. They walked through the corridors until they got to the room  Derek wanted Scott to see.
“Why are we here?” Scott asked, looking around the room.
“Who is he?” He asked again when he saw the man in a wheelchair.
“That’s Peter Hale,” Y/N mumbled loud enough for the wolves to hear. Derek nodded.
“He is my uncle.”
“Is he… Like you? A werewolf?” Scott looked like he was scared to move.
“He was. Now, he’s barely even human. Six years ago, my sister and I were at school. Our house caught on fire. There were eleven people inside. He was the only survivor.”
“And you are telling me because…?” Y/N groaned. Scott was so dumb.
“He’s telling you because the Argents set the fire,” Y/N explained.
“What makes you so sure?” Y/N was ready to jump at Scott and beat him up with the bullet she had in her pocket.
“Because they were the only ones that knew about us!” Derek said angrily.
“Should I heal him?” Castiel asked and everyone in the room stopped what they were doing. They all slowly turned to look at him (except Peter of course). Y/N blinked a few times and then exchanged a few looks with Derek, who looked like he might pass out.
“You can heal him?”
“I mean, I did cure you from the wolfsbane. I think few burns are nothing.” Castiel explained himself. Y/N frowned.
“But the brain trauma- and-” Castiel placed a hand on her shoulder.
“I pulled your brother out of hell Y/N, I also took on your other brother’s pain which sent me into a mental hospital. I am still not quite okay but I will help whenever I can.” Castiel said and took a few steps towards Peter. He placed his hand on Peter’s head and let it glow, letting the angel magic do its thing. They all watched as Peter’s scars disappeared and his eyes started sparking with life. Just as the last few scars vanished his eyes shone blue, making Derek respond with his own blue ones.
“Thank you,” Derek said as he looked from Castiel to his uncle, who was now looking around trying to understand what was going on. Cas only nodded and turned towards Y/N to smile at her. Y/N knew he was ready to go. She waved at him and watched him teleport away. Scott was standing in the corner of the room looking confused as hell.
“Come on Scott, let’s leave them to catch up,” the Winchester said. Derek shot her a thankful look as he watched her and Scott go.
“You really need to explain who the man in the trenchcoat is,” Scott mumbled.
“I will when Stiles is there also. I don’t feel like explaining it twice.”

Teen wolf characters: they save you/help you
Includes: Peter, Jordan, and Chris
Warnings: swearing, blood, death
--
Peter:
"No."
Peter can hear your heart-beat begin to slow- your breath shuddering, and the blood...there's so much blood.
"(y/n).", and, for once, the man is at a loss of words. Trudging- limping- towards you, he makes his place next to you. Hands moving to press down on your stomach- the blood coating his hands.
"Peter?"
but you're so weak. Unable to keep your eyes open long- only glimpses of Peter in your vision.
"...it's me sweetheart. I'm here."
Hunters. They're the reason for this. They'd been after Peter, when you'd been there. With no hesitation one of them shot you before Peter could even stop them; he'd been forced to watch you get shot.
"It will be okay..."
Through half-lucidity you place a hand on the left side of his face. Smile growing on your lips;
"...I know it will be, because you're here."
In another situation he would find this adorable, but right now, it only emphasizes more the urgency of the situation. He needs to heal you, and quick.
Looking back at you with kind eyes- only you're ever witness to- Peter sucks in a deep breath, letting the healing begin.
Through this whole process you are fighting back the urge to fall asleep 'cause if you do you'll probably die. No you are able to force yourself to stay awake until he's finished healing you.
When the healing is over Peter feels light-headed, but apart from that, he's okay. He pulls his hand away, and glances down at you.
"...see..."
Then, he stands with his arms already wrapped around you holding you close.
"...you're alright..."
He glances down at you just in time to see you drift off. Relaxed- in no pain- but fine. You're okay. He lets go of the breath he'd been holding.
Pressing a soft kiss to your head Peter falls into a step, heading off to find the others.
-
Jordan
You hadn't seen it, but now as Jordan is unaware of the debacle you have yourself in, you're forced to stand there.
Bear trap. It had been hidden so well that no one, not even your werewolf friends, would have been able to notice it.
"Jordan...?"
Heart racing at what feels like a million miles an hour; but you force yourself to remain strong. Jordan stops, and turns, his eyes soon falling on your panicked face.
The deputy tilts his head, confused.
"Everything alright (y/n)?"
Sighing- shakily- you look down.
"Not really, no..."
Jordan follows your eyes- they fall on that device- and then his heart stops.
"Shit..."
Tucking away his gun, he slowly approaches. Bringing himself into a kneeling position to search for the instructions; different trap, different instructions. he has dealt with this before- last time things went...differently.
"Okay..."
So while he finds the instructions and reads over them you have to stop yourself from freaking the hell out. You trust Jordan- of course you do- but anyone with their foot stuck in a trap would feel this way. And with your heart racing as fast as it is you swear you'll die of a heart attack instead.
"Okay..."
He looks up at you- the fear on his face, evident.
"...okay when I tell you jump out of the trap and I'll grab you."
"Okay..." with a small nod, you force a smile on. "Okay Jordan. I trust you."
The deputy nods, his eyes flicking back to that lever. Jordan nods to himself, brngs his hand to the levers, and then turns it.
"Now!"
You jump out of it, like he’d said to, and Jordan grabs you. *bang* the trap goes off mere seconds later. You're fine, though- no broken leg.
"Thank god..."
A weight lifting off both of your shoulders; you practically lose strength in your legs Jordan being the only one keeping you upright.
"Thank you Jordan..."
He nods, not letting you go.
"You're welcome."
-
Chris:
The moon looms above, providing you with light, while you trudge through the woods.
Chris is behind you, one hand on his gun, while the other rests by his side.
"...how long now?"
With your own weapon out and ready for if anything were to happen, you're soon joined by Chris. Who looks ahead, but also glances at you from time to time.
"A few more minutes."
Hunters, as always, have been causing some trouble for the pack. You and Chris had decided to go and scope things out, see how many of these hunters there are.
"...you sure you want to stay?"
"I'm sure."
You soon fall into a silence, some glances spared between eachother every so often. Sure you'd rather be spending your friday night doing anything other than this, but at least when you've dealt with these hunters, you can ensure the safety of the others.
They may be supernatural's but you and Chris are still the adults [Derek having left a few weeks prior], and their safety is your top priority.
Picking up speed a little you realize you're unaware of the eyes from nearby. A hunter has caught wind of your little 'scoping out mission' and has been following for the past couple minutes. His aim is on you, and then he'll be able to 'take out Chris' next. In this hunter's words 'he's smarter'
Chris says something, earning a quiet laugh from you. Nudging him gently you flick your eyes to the path ahead, again; the hunter gets closer, smirk on his lips, and when he's sure he has a lock on you, he brings his hand over the trigger.
5: he counts down in his head
4: he notes that smile on your lips. It will be gone soon.
3: a small click sounds as he quickly loads in another bullet
2: "You're dead."
1.
*bang*
Gunshot ringing out through the woods. Gun dropping to the ground, the body joining the gun.
Silence...
a breath is let out, and then quick footsteps over to the body. Chris looks at the body...and then he turns to you. You stare at Chris with wide eyes, shock covering your face.
"What..."
"He was going to shoot you."
Chris closes the distance between you, placing a hand on your shoulder. Letting out another breath you'd been holding you place a hand on top of Chris’s shock still on your features, but also relief.
"Thank you."
He hides his fear, that he had nearly missed that Hunter. Chris nods, a small smile tugging at his lips.
"You're welcome."
The two of you soon continue on, but you notice Chris become more protective.

(Teen Wolf x reader)
summary: You wanted a normal life, this isn't normal.
warning: reaincarnation, death, mention of death, overpowered reader, mentien of yn, no name to the reader, maybe poly relationshipes, blood.werewolf. some Angst. Futur Spoliers, for both the series and movie. Some changes in the story. First time writting about teen wolf, some characters are out of character
Chapter 1: Not so broken promise.
_You promised!
You looked at God, for the first time since you had become his messager to the "New world". No, not like the old one, where you used to live, a new earth. An earth that hasn't been destroyed by humans, not yet at least.
You were to protect his favorite beens the humans, from all the other creatures that lived inside and outside the planet. That humans didn't known about, and shouldn't know, no matter the consequences, in exchange he would give you a normal life, somewhere in another dimension.
You didn't care where to go, you just wanted a life,no fighting, a life where you can be selfish. Where you can buy a cottage near the ocean or forest, and maybe start a family, adopt a kid or two. You don't want to get marry so adoption was you solition.
_I know, I know...but..
His voice was inside your head, and you didn't know if it was a female or male. All you you could get from it, was how tired it was.
_but what?
You were tired too, but did you stop, NO, you fought for centuries until the humanity was able to protect itself, and he rewarded by trapping you inside a cube, a fucking cube....You know now how Morpheus felt like.
_but you are my best soldier!
The earth benith you start shaking, and you knew he stood up, or maybe just his hands that moved in frustration. It would have scared you, and it should had,if you weren't blinded by rage.
_I never signed up for this!
True you never signed for any of this, one day you just woke up, and boom you become God's soldier. Three years later he come and ask you to do the dirty job, killing and turtoring. The first time you engaged in a fight, you come back bruised and at the verge of death, and the more and more you continue, the more powerfull you become , making you lean more into your sadistic part, and that when God come again, and offored something you had were greedy for.
Money.
It started with money, and when you were bored of. He offered to give you a family, and the more time past the more you start craving something normal, and God given it to you, except peace, that was the only thing God couldn't give you. The peace to wake up and not have to fight, and you should have known better than to beleive him, when he promised to let you go, once the humans are able to protect themselves.
The power you hold was immense and unbreakbale but to God, it was nothing.
He could have taken it anytime he wanted,so Haven't he?
You shacked you head disapointed, and soon as you meet his "eyes" you found youself doubting him more and more.
Was the devil right, when he said that God was not what you were seeing. At that time, you called him liar, because at that time centuries had passed, and God, who you saw as a friend was the only thing that didn't leave, die, or change.
Now you found yourself, believing the devil over your "friend". Maybe you should have listened to him, and killed yourself. Instead of getting your heart broken, so loudly, that all heaven could hear it. Just like how they can hear him break his promise.
A loud sigh could be here. Before thunder and storm start to pick up.
_FINE!
He screamed, waving his hand encouraging the storm to get stronger, and if it wasn't for your power, you would have been flying like the little angels...poor them.
Seconds passed, and you closed you eyes waiting for punishment for standing against God. No one defien him, no one dared to, and you just did.
Once the storm calmed, you opened your eyes to find yourself, in the middle of a living room. Your dream living room.
Your face light up, as a smile starr to grow more and more, to a point where you face start to hurt, but you couldn't help it.
Jumping around you inspeckted every peace of the room, before running like a headless chiken to see the other room.
There was one kitchen, six bedroom, and each had it own bathroom and balcony. A garden with it door open to the kitchen.
OMG You were jumping around, shringing.
THIS WAS YOUR DREAM HOUSE!
And it was no longer a wish or a dream!
You couldn't beleive it.
_Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You kept screaming, thanking God, for keeping his promise.
Maybe he really wasn't a liar, after all!
