I will be honest, when I first started watching the Sandman I didn't think anything of Corinthian at first, but the more I watched and learned about his motivations I was hooked.

I haven't been able to pinpoint exactly what makes Corinthian SO damn appealing to me, but right off the top of my head I really enjoy the exploration of autonomy and how much his actions and decisions are guided by what he is and who he wants to be. He is a part of Dream, yet he wants to be separate from him. He wants to be autonomous and considers himself a sole entity, yet blames Dream for his own decisions with the ol' "you made me this way" shtick. He's just a walking contradiction.

I also definitely think the religious trauma is kicking in here and makes me HUNGER to explore these topics because Corinthian is just the perfect vessel to explore a love/hate relationship with God.

I have always been drawn to writing villain characters anyways because I am a horror/gore whore. I think before Corinthian I had only rped a handful of canon characters (Spy from TF2, Yondu Udonta GoTG, Moira from OW)

But I also have two OC's that also heavily feature the creator/creation trope. Those two blogs have existed for almost ten years and I'm still drawn back to them occasionally. (One of them is exceptionally dark it is where I go to commit atrocities <3)

TMNT Head Canon (#Music Edition)

- Donnie installed hidden LED strip lights in his lab and sometimes late at night he’ll lay on the floor listening to music from an old iPod he decked out with his favourite songs, it’s the only time when he can truely relax.

- Raph seems like a really hardcore heavy metal type of dude, especially when he play the drums. But secretly he’s a really big fan of Lofi, he only puts it on late at night and sways around his room with Chompy on his shoulder.

- When Mikey gets anxious before a mission or after a mission, the only thing that will calm him down is music like The Cure or Cave Town, those specific vibes really help him out. Considering his mind is always loud and jumbled.

- Leo found a set of old wireless ear buds and he often trains alone in the dojo with the music on. Specifically things like Nightcore or Kiraw music. It pumps him up for training but also helps ground him.

Picked up pokemon shield after about. A year and a half. So I could finally play through the league and the champion battle, "I'll finally finish the game today" is what I thought. I didnt realise how hard Leon would be to beat??? Huh?? Breezed through the whole game and already lost twice to him??

in intense life or death situations, Elisa initially goes for biting as an attack at the beginning of dtr. Eventually, Kalani decides that maybe interdimensional beings might have parts that aren't safe for consumption and teaches Elisa hand to hand combat. and i just think that's neat
