Chocolate Chip Cookies

-A recipe wrote down from a recipe somewhere 30~ish years ago-

1 cup butter, softened 🧈

1 cup White Sugar ⚪

1 cup packed Brown Sugar 🟤

2 Eggs 🥚🥚

2 Tsp Vanilla 🍦🍦

3 cups Flour 🌼🌼🌼

1 Tsp Baking Soda 🥤

2 Tsp Hot Water 🔥 🌊

1/2 Tsp Salt 🧂

2 cups chocolate chips 🍫🍫

1 cup Chopped Nuts 🥜 (Optional)

1) Preheat Oven to 350°

2) Cream together the Butter and Sugars until smooth. Beat in Eggs, one at a time, then stir in Vanilla.

3) Dissolve Baking Soda in Hot Water. Add to Batter along with Salt. Stir in Flour, Chocolate Chips, and Nuts.

4) Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.

5) Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
