SENTATE - MARCH 2023 COLLECTION
For this months set I wanted to capture that Chloë Sevigny ‘cooler-than-you’ vibe with a set of versatile and stylish items that effortlessly mix and match into your sims wadrobe; for when its not quite spring but winter is no longer welcome. The floral print was inspired by a vintage tin box my mum found and then hand painted by me!
I wanted to make a fresh, slightly oversized cropped biker jacket in a variety of options to really pinpoint your sims personal style, dress it up with timeless chic midi dress or keep it casual with cute camisole, some ripped denim shorts and a pair of edgy below the knee leather boots (and don’t forget your azzezzories!). Also included is a vintage inspired bias cut silk dress in 2 different options featuring a variety of oppulent prints.
Each item comes in my 25 swatch palette plus loads of fun bonus swatches. The denim shorts come in my 15 swatch denim palette. The collection features 3 tops, 1 pair of shorts, 4 dresses and 1 pair of boots plus an overlay for the leather jacket in the rings category.

A must-watch! You can currently stream for free the new short film Toxic Femininity starring esteemed New York performance artist Lypsinka (John Epperson) and directed by Chloe Sevigny but for a limited time only, so don’t delay! In this swooning psychodrama, Lypsinka portrays herself - a fiercely glamorous but troubled veteran monstre sacrée song-and-dance show biz diva (think: Susan Hayward as Helen Lawson in Valley of the Dolls) recovering from “nervous collapse” (gossip column lingo for breakdown). One particularly dark night of the soul, Lypsinka starts bitterly reciting her memoirs into a tape recorder (the voice of is actually Judy Garland) which only seems to further loosen her grip on reality. She’s repeatedly interrupted and tormented by an abusive doppelgänger. And Joan Crawford keeps materializing to offer maddening pearls of wisdom from My Way of Life, her ultra-kitsch 1970 book of tips on how to be an enchanting businesswoman, wife, mother, and hostess (“The world isn't interested in your problems!” and “Bitterness and self-pity are deadly poisons that cannot be hidden” she’s apt to declare). But most alarmingly, Lypsinka seems to be stalked by a cadaverous, white-robed angel-of-death figure, who keeps drawing ever closer … Epperson is a connoisseur of golden age Hollywood cinema, so part of the fun is recognising the snippets of dialogue via Olivia de Havilland in Lady in a Cage, Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest (“Please, Barbara! Barbara, please!”), Agnes Moorehead (the radio play Sorry, Wrong Number) and Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby (“This is no dream! This is really happening!”). Toxic Femininity is a tour de force! Link to watch. Read more about the genesis of Toxic Femininity here.

the most bizarre pairing and framing of the term "actor" i have seen in a very long time. The Chloe Sevigny of the end of the 90s or even 10 years ago would have probably hated herself ever being "celebrated" this way along the epitome of superficiality. I guess money changes everything, even personal principles and credibility. The vast majority of the comments on her IG where she posted it speak for itself. Also the gossipy level of publications like Variety to even consider someone like Kim (surely she has so much to say about the art of acting) deserving to be called an actress of any kind. Mindblowingly bizarre. I never cared for reality shows of any kind and i usually ignored them and didnt even comment or judge those that watch it. And still dont. But when you put people like her on a pedestal it changes everything. Then they suddenly deserve to be scrutinized.

Wait- y'all think jungkook is passive agressive towards taehyung? I mean i did get the vibe Sometimes like that but you can't say that out loud about "partners in crime" can you? Not that i care about amis just that i thought it'll be like me making jungkook look bad but seems like there are people who noticed too.
Remember that live in 2019 (ig) where taehyung was trying to say something nd jk was like "that's not important" again nd again that jm had to step in and shake him saying why's he not letting taehyung speak only then did jk said "ok you can talk before shut live or after this" something, then those cooking scenes from ITS2, then just from the concert DVDs where he's like hitting tae's butt playfully to get back his jacket, Then the"just because you're wearing green suit doens't mean you have to act like a frog" and many more. I know tkkrs love to portray how jk hates jm over small small things but imagine if jk did all this to jm? I don't see jungkook acting like that towards jm. Even in their last live where taehyung says "I'm listening to you jm so please speak" and everyone's like what? Then tae be like "y'all weren't listening to him" and jk literally said "we were all listening to jimin/we were all responding to him only" lol. Ain't no way jm's talking and jk will not listen or interrupt him intentionally.
Now a question to you have you ever thought jk and jm were bitc* or passive aggressive towards each other? Any incidents?
Jungkook looking bad? More like him coming across as more relatable. We're all acting bitchy sometimes, even about unimportant things. It's normal. Look at Chloe Sevigny now making dull people angry on twitter cause she said she's had it with athleisure and people always with their pets out and about in NY. She's right, she shouldn't be booed. And Tedros needs to be taken down a peg sometimes. Jimin is feeding his delusions (no, he cannot become a better dancer), but Jungkook is right there to make sure no one gets ahead of themselves 😄 That last wlive was funny.
Now, this is not because of my biased opinions (honestly), but my poor memory cause I was trying to think of Jikook being bitchy with each other, but I can't think of anything specific. They used to have that scolding thing going on, but there was usually nothing mean underneath. Like, despite any arguing we saw on camera or annoyance, it's like they were making sure no feelings were actually hurt. Even when they were young. And no, I do not need or have the time to entertain age old stories and boring arguments about JK "hating" JM in the beginning or being hurtful. No one bring that to my inbox cause I'm just gonna roll my eyes and delete. Move on
Being bitchy for the sake of it means not caring about that at all. I'd know, lol.

My workout didn't feel as fulfilling as usual because I got a phone call that lasted about 4 or 5 mins which slowed me down. I am a bit ADHD or really ADHD and OCD. I'm trying to let go of that feeling of disappointment. I went to store got 2 organic bananas, acai berry almond milk yogurt, two hydration primes, and an orange dreamsicle energy drink for tomorrows workout. If my boyfriend goes to see his dog today I will have some time to myself. Which is kewl. Because it makes me feel the silence within and outside of me, some peace. For awhile there I was having immense anxiety and intrusive thoughts. My psychiatrist upping my OCD medication has helped a lot I realize. I wonder though if she should up it more. She is a good woman, she doesn't like to overdo medicational prescriptions. I'm sure she will be pleased with my progress and say it's unnecessary to up the dosage. It's just little things like checking for my key, wallet, folding clothes perfectly, compulsively wanting to get my workout just right. But I can handle myself. I can handle it. It's not like it used to be at all. I have a great love for my psychiatrist for some reason. Maybe it's the compassionate, feminine, intuitive vibe she radiates. She is a bigger woman with long brownish red hair. Brown doe eyes and a calming depth in her voice. Except since beginning our meetings one of her eyes has drooped. Is it stress doing that? Once I mistakenly hit on her. I said "I like a woman with bigger hair" I've told you guys this before but I was so so embarrassed. I talked to my therapist about it for three sessions lol. This world is strange and forceful. I must be my own force. I love Courtney loves quote, "I am not a woman, I am a force of nature"! a mutual of mine told me I looked like Courtney love omg! I always thought I did. But no one ever told me such a statement. I also have been told that I look like Chloe sevigny. Took that as an insult. Though Chloe is cool it's whatever. I love her name Atleast. When I used to play sims I would make my character name Chloe. I think I enjoyed the movie "party monster" w Chloe sevigny in it. Back in the dizzzay. Thank you God for this day this space this life i love and live and may all beings be warmed lightly and wholly with Your love and tender solace. I wrote to my ex best friend. I'm smiling now. Thank you.🐾

favourite/least favourite looks from the met gala?
personally, i think alia bhatt completely stole the show, but i also loved emma chamberlain and zendaya's looks.
also i think lewis' look was good! i enjoyed the meaning behind it too.
sabrina carpenter was kind of a let down, and wtf was up with kim k's cardigan ?? it did not fit the vibe at all
I haven’t seen every look, but Tyla’s was my favourite in terms of the theme. I think the “shifting sands of time” idea was so good and such a nice departure from everyone else who was just focusing on the “garden” bit. I also think Rita Ora did something cool with the theme, as the beads on her dress were extremely old and I think she was going for a “early civilisation” idea.
I liked Chloe Sevigny’s outfit, very on theme for me, kind of like a Miss Havisham idea. Hated the hairstyle but again, on theme.
I liked Mindy Kahling’s look a lot. Emma Chamberlain’s I liked, didn’t love the make up but the dress was beautiful. I liked Kim’s dress, the cardigan felt like a weird T-Swift reference.
I loved J-Lo’s look. Just…pretty. Elle Fanning’s was also really pretty, and Pheobe Dynevor’s.
Didn’t like Kelsey Ballerini’s outfit, I think if you’re going to do that concept then the flesh tone parts need to fit you like a glove and not look like you’re wearing your mothers stockings with plastic flowers stuck to it.
Cardi B looking like live action Ursula was not on my bingo card, whatever that was I hate it. And I hated Zendaya’s first look, I’m not a fan of dark lipstick ever and the stripes she had on the dress were just unnecessary. I liked her second look a lot.
And so many people dressed like a ready meal??? Why all the damn foil? Too many but Michelle Yeoh was the worst. I thought that woman could do no wrong but that was disappointing.
