Miraculous Court Revived Au

This au is based off the idea of Marinette revving the guardians through her classmates.

Basic Facts:

Lila has been found out but the staff still believe her

Ladybug and Chat Noir has revealed their identities after Master Fu passed over guardianship

Miracle queen didn’t happen (Chloe gets a redemption)

Adrien and Marinette had a big conversation on boundaries (with Chat Noir constant confessions/refusal to listen to Ladybug and Marinette borderline stalking, it was desperately needed) and decided on friendship for now so their relationship is healthy

Story:

Both Marinette and Adrien agreed to lend out the miraculous permanently but they did it slowly over a year

Not every hero shows up to an akuma at first but most do now as hawkmoth keeps getting stronger the longer they have the miraculous

Which ironically is something happening to the heroes with them gaining effects outside their suits such as animal traits, super strength/speed and small amount of their powers

The Kwamis explained that this is not unusual and many past users who last longer ended up being tightly bonded to their miraculous which made them into demigods (the class being all true holders just made this happen sooner in the development unlike others who had this happen when they were adults)

Over time the class got more feral but not something that was insanely noticeable until another heroes day incident which ended up with class (plus Kagami and Luka) revealing their identities to each other in order to have a stronger support systems as shit was getting worse and worse with the akumas becoming more deadly and horrific

This cause the class to basically become feral in an actual noticeable manner (think Feralnette au vibes but with the whole class)

They also focused way more on the hero jobs, learning martial arts, weapons training, gymnastics, dance, first aid, civilian control tactics

It was Chloe who brought up the idea because while these classes were great, it was too public so why not get a secret base? Like other heroes do

Between her money and her dad’s complete refusal to go against her and never looking into what she was doing, it was a perfect way to hide a secret base and there are a lot of old warehouses/old buildings needing to be bought up so no would really notice

Even so Max and Alix pointed out that even if that was the case wouldn’t it look odd for a bunch of teenagers to keep visiting a random building/warehouse

It took a lot of brain storming but eventually it was surprisingly Kim that had a solution even if it would be complicated as fuck to accomplish

BUILD A BUSINESS

Confused at first, Adrien asked for an elaboration

Well Marinette wants her own fashion brand, Alya wants to be reporter, Nino wants a music/movie career, Kitty Section has started a career already and just needs to be sign to a label but also has their own job wants outside like Myleen/Ivan/Rose’s charity work and Julaka Modelling career, Marc/Nathaniel wants to make comics, Alix wants to expand her art career/sports career, he wants his own sports career as well, Max wants to build more inventions to improve technology for the world, Adrien wants to also work in science (if not work in food) and Chloe/Sabrina like business in general

so why not just combine all their talents and build a jack of all trades enterprise like other big corporations tend to do

It would also be a good cover to build up the Miraculous Guardians again like Marinette and Adrien wants because you can’t really build something like that out in open anymore without it sounding like a cult.

The Plan/Effects:

So that was the plan, it helped keep their parents off their case, could work on it during school because basically everyone there expect for Lula or Kagami (both helping on music and security branches)

It was a slow build as buying a hood building took a while so did all the legal issues but Chloe, Sabrina, Kagami, Adrien and Marinette helped due to the rich kid background, police father and Marinette’s small business that had been set up with the help of Jagged.

The business didn’t really come first though at least they were not openly promoting it.

First they worked on their hero reputation/brands by increased public interactions with more patrols (more heroes means easier ways to spread out patrols), working with the police for normal crimes like how many other heroes in America do (I’m thinking dc crossover not the canon ones), social media presence for better alerts/info to public/a way to see more down to Earth and relate to people (since come what teenager type hero is not going to shit post/meme about their lives)

And it worked more people support them, helping bring more hope as the new need for more heroes got people worried that hawkmoth was winning, the government was starting to help out more (double edged sword thou as that meant a bigger work load for other crimes) which made them express that even when hawkmoth was defeated they wouldn’t minds them sticking around to help Paris since most hero’s tend to stick to America

The main cover business started to become popular after making themselves more known openly with Ladyblog being officially under the company banner, Marc/Nathaniel’s comics also coming under the brand, Max’s new hero endorsed akuma alert app and Hero Website also coming under the company, Kitty Section joining with the start of company’s music records, famous jagged stone endorsed designer known as MDC also joining.

All these popular thing helped it grow quite fast and with the fact most of them being young teens helped make the media especially interested in how fast they were raising in popularity because it wasn’t everyday you see a group of teenagers build such a big company at their age.

That’s all I got so far to be honest.

Notes:

Adrien has to sneak around his father still but with the business he had chloe help him to threaten Gabriel to back off (threaten to go to the press about how he’s unfairly treated)

Kagami and Lula while out of the class have ended up close with most of them over time before the reveal

Parents are just happy their kids are having fun and building up their future careers

Kwamis are protective as hell with class while also are all really happy with being out after being stored into the box for so long

Teachers and the rest of the school tend to avoid or be more harsh on the akuma class (Lila being the cause for the staff issues)

They are now around the age of 16-17

The hero team is now known as the Miraculous Court due to how the public has heard them use their old titles that the guardians used to use such as Lady Of Luck, Duke of Destruction, Seers of Time, Knight Of The Elements, etc.

Stupid Little Things

The way I have been struggling with this for the longest time! Between whatever has happened to the show and writer's block, this is what I have after so long. But anyways... enough of that, I hope you guys enjoy my lil self indulgent Chlonath, because I've realised that they are my babies and I will always love them <3 This also crossposted to Ao3

For most of Paris, it was your typical Thursday afternoon. For Chloe Bourgeois, it was the day she realised that she had a crush on Nathaniel Kurtzberg. The guy who had always seemed to be in a world all on his own. All she's been doing for the longest time was to argue with the boy, and before, she used to make fun of him for falling asleep and drawing in classes. She would go back and change that for sure, but that’s not an option. She’d gladly ask her daddy to pay for it if it were. She had no idea what she was to do now.  Chloé couldn’t just walk up to Nathaniel and start being extra nice to him, he’d suspect something was the matter. She wouldn’t go back to being really mean to him, and she definitely couldn’t, wouldn’t under any circumstance, tell the boy how she felt. That would just be ridiculous. Definitely not an option at all.  

For most students it was the last day of school before their glorious two week break.  For Chloe Bourgeois, it was day one of ‘avoiding Nathaniel Kurtzberg like her life depended on it.’ In a way, it did.

After hours and hours of pondering and talking things over with Pollen and an all night phone call with Sabrina, Chloe came to the conclusion that it would be best for everyone if Nathaniel never knew about her feelings. She also realised that she couldn’t quite possibly trust herself to speak to him at all. It was definitely much easier this way, at least she imagined it would be. What Chloe didn’t imagine was that she would miss arguing with the artist. She also never imagined that someone could feel physically tired from avoiding someone else. Granted, it never ever crossed her mind that she would have to quite literally doge him in the hallways. That in itself was an olympic sport. She’d have to congratulate Marinette for somehow pulling off these stunts on the daily. It was hard, sure. But it was the only way to get over this whole crush situation. Distancing herself from him now before the break would make things easier since there would be two whole weeks where seeing him would be near impossible. That should be enough time to mourn the loss of what never could have been. It's an easy plan, completely foolproof.  Even Hawkmoth himself could pull it off. Chloe was sure, without a shadow of doubt that this master plan of hers was definitely going to work.  

What she failed to take into consideration was that many things in life were easier said than done. This was one of them.

The first week of ‘avoiding Nathaiel Kurtzburg like her life depended on it’ was relatively easy. Afterall, it was spring break and it was only necessary to leave the hotel if there was school going on or if she needed to fight an akuma. The former isn’t an issue at the moment and the latter oftentimes doesn’t include the very attractive, very talented artist that happened to be in the same class as her. With all the free time that she suddenly had on her hands, Chloe found that it is possible to finish all the assigned readings and homework for all her classes before the eve of school resuming after a break. Who would’ve thought? The only downside was that with the homework out of the way, she was bored by day three.

By day seven, she gave up on being a lonely prisoner in her room and decided to spend some time with Sabrina doing mani pedis, watching movies and pranking the hotel staff- just like any ordinary sleepover. The days were both peaceful, and quiet… Well, as peaceful and quiet as it gets when watching superhero movies and debating which team was right in 'Civil War.'  Chloe appreciated this more than anything, and Sabrina knew this when Chloe gave her the tightest hug in history before she left that day.

Days eight through thirteen of ‘avoiding Nathaiel Kurtzburg like her life depended on it’ really changed for Chloe.  The problem was evolving and she needed to fix her strategy to accommodate that.  Avoiding the artist wasn’t a problem, it couldn’t be because he wasn’t here.  No, the problem was bigger.  She couldn’t stop thinking about him.  Every other building she saw suddenly seemed so interesting and she couldn’t help but think how he’d for sure stop and try to sketch every little thing that interested him even a bit instead of taking a picture like a regular person.  The graffiti walls reminded her of the wall in the art classroom and the times she would notice Nathaniel doing some graffiti of his own.  Even the quaint bookstore reminded her of the time she found out she had a crush on him two weeks ago when he handed Chloe her chemistry book after school.  She needed to stop thinking about him, for her own good.  After all she put him through, there was no way he’d ever like her back.  This wasn’t a movie, or a fairytale or one of those romance books Sabrina likes to read.  

Day fourteen, had it gone according to plan, would have proved that Chloe could have absolutely been able to pull off her elaborate idea without a hitch. Midday came and went, it was evening time. That was just enough time for the day to end peacefully. It was also just enough time for everything to drastically change. Of course, one could guess what happened since Ladybug and her team found themselves on top of the Eiffel Tower trying to figure out the best way to defeat a giant multicoloured monstrosity to stop it from destroying all of Paris once again. 

Well, Ladybug and most of the team.

If you asked Chloe about the akuma, she would tell you it smelled like grass. If you ask her on a deeper level, she would tell you that it smelled like the lawn was being cut and that she wasn’t sure that she liked it, and that she was tired. In truth, they have been fighting this akuma for almost an hour now and the end did not seem within sight. The only thing that she truly was sure about was the fact that she just had to get pollen a snack soon as possible. She had used her miraculous ability Venom and missed! She doesn’t think the day could get any worse.

She found an empty alleyway and dropped her transformation. All she had to do was get pollen fed and jump back into action. Pollen had just finished eating when Chloe saw tomato red hair behind her. She only knew one person in Paris who had obnoxiously red hair like that, and he was currently passed out on the ground behind her. She quickly went to kneel beside him and was relieved to find that he was bleeding, worried that he had passed out and a lot stressed since he was practically in the middle of the akuma attack. She had to get him somewhere safe. It took approximately three seconds before Chloe realised that there was no way she could move Nathaniel, at least not in her current state. After checking that pollen had eaten and another sweep of the area to make sure no one would see her, she quickly transformed into Queen Bee and took off with Nathaniel in her arms. After placing him safely on a balcony of her father’s hotel she took off again, this time to put an end to the akuma that was terrorising Paris. Only because of the akuma, and not something absurd like her feeling flustered by her crush or anything.

Nathaniel sat in his bedroom staring at his hands, or his feet, or the floor. He had too much to process from the last sixteen hours and as  a result sleep has been evading him.  Or maybe he has been evading sleep. He would argue that both things can be true at once, one does not cancel out the other. Much like how Chloe Bourgeois and Queen Bee appear to exist within the same person. The superhero that he has a crush on and the girl that he definitely DID NOT have a crush on, no matter what Juleka says, just so happen to be the same person. No big deal. He would laugh if he didn't find the whole situation strange. This type of thing doesn’t just happen to him of all people, at least that was what he kept telling himself.

He was walking across the city. Briskly walking may be a better word, or perhaps running for his life best describes it. The akuma of the week had made its appearance and regrettably Nathaniel found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, narrowly escaping getting hit by whatever was coming from that thing's mouth. When his back hit the ground with a not so gentle thud,  he thought that maybe it wasn’t one of his brightest ideas as the air was quite literally knocked out of him. He wasn’t feeling any excruciating pain, thank God! He knew he just wouldn’t hear the end of it from his mother who, by the way, told him it was not a good idea to go out today.

Nathaniel finally found the strength to open his eyes and try to look around to see just where he landed himself. He sat up and turned around when he saw Queen Bee landing in his alley.  Her back was turned to him, so she never saw him. He was feeling a pretty mix of relief and disappointment because he has a crush on her but didn’t want this to be how she met him for the first time. He was also having an internal battle trying to figure out whether or not he should try to get her attention when he heard her say… something followed by a flash of blinding golden light. When he looked back at where Queen Bee was standing, she was nowhere to be found. In her place stood none other than Chloe Bourgeois. Was he shocked? Absolutely! Chloe Bourgeois being a superhero was not a part of his bingo cards. Was he surprised? Not as much as he thought he should be, since if Chloe was going to be a superhero she would of course choose royalty.

There was no time for him to dwell too long though, since he was pretty sure he saw something he probably should not have. With no other option, he quickly laid down again and closed his eyes, hoping that Queen Bee would soon be gone. Again, it wasn’t his best idea, but he was an artist, not an athlete. There was still an akuma out on the loose and Nathaniel was not going to get caught up in that again. He could've sworn he heard her maybe whisper a “thank God!”  But he was definitely sure he heard her say “Pollen, buzz on!” He was definitely sure that there was a flash of light again, and he was almost 97% sure that Queen Bee was now where Chloe stood. The 3% is him hoping that maybe this is a dream. He has a concussion and he is dreaming.

In no time at all Nathaniel was hoisted up bridal style and Queen Bee launched into the air. He tightened his hands around her neck because this was the sky they were flying through, and he wasn't that he was scared of heights or anything, it was just that he’d rather not be that high up. He also couldn’t help but tighten his eyes as well. He really did not need to see the world below whizzing by him. Although, he reckoned it might be a really good reference for painting. Maybe he could capture it with some water colours, or perhaps oil paints would do a better job at replicating the essence of it all? The only way to tell was to look and see for himself.

He never got the chance to find out.

In the time it had taken him to maybe consider opening his eyes he felt that the air around him had gone still. “Nath- uh… Citizen, thank goodness you’re awake. You’re safe now, you can let go.” Maybe it was his brain, or perhaps his heart that had gone still instead. Seconds passed, maybe minutes, maybe hours before he was able to peel himself away from Queen Bee. He would much rather blame it on the fact that he was shaken up from the flight than on the fact the her voice was so soft, that her eyes were so soft as she spoke to him. Yes, Nathaniel would much rather blame it on shaken nerves than on the fact that he might have felt enchanted looking into Queen Bee's eyes, Chloe’s eyes. 

As quickly as the moment began it had ended and after a “Be safe,” Queen Bee was gone. He did not remember leaving the hotel, or how he got back home. He barely registered the looks his mother gave him during dinner, or even when he made his way to his room. Not even staring at his hands, or his feet, or the floor could quite help him come to terms with everything that he had seen today. 

Nathaniel knew he was going to spend all night thinking about it. Chloe Bourgeois is Queen Bee, Queen Bee is Chloe Bourgeois. One of them is a beloved superhero of Paris, the other is… or was a bully who rained terror on everyone that breathed in her direction. Both of them stay on his mind though for completely different reasons. It was just his luck that all this had to happen the day before school started again.

MARINETTE: LADY LUCK ERA

MLB INHERITANCE AU PT. 4

- the origin:

A new Chat Noir, dubbed "Night Watch" by the masses due to almost exclusively seen at night and doing all manners of good deeds and selfless notions for the average Parisians, popped up almost immediately after Tuxedo's retirement.

When Bridgette is set to move onto campus for university, Marinette is hellbent on moving out of their shared room and having her own space to sew and create. She begs her parents to let her move into the attic, promising to clean out the attic herself.

After her parents agree, Marinette begins to sift through the attic belongings, and sees a pair of earrings she thinks seem vaguely familiar. She puts them on, and looks at them in the mirror, but screams when Tikki pops up behind her reflection telling her the earrings suit her.

Tikki explains the last situation to Mari, and the fae's concerns and desperation as she feels Null grow stronger somewhere in the city. Tikki tells her that she's been keeping an eye on Mari through the years, and recognizes her traits that would make her an excellent Ladybug.

Marinette shuts down Tikki's proposal for heroism, telling Tikki that if Bridgette couldn't do what needed to be done, there's no way Marinette could. Tikki refuses that mindset, though cannot convince the girl further before Sabine knocks on the attic hatch.

The faerie hides in the earrings that Marinette is still wearing, as Sabine pushes through to check in Marinette's progress on the room and offer her help to look through some of her old belongings that Marinette can move.

The two go through trunks of old family heirlooms and photo albums, before Sabine looks wistfully at an old album of her and her old friends.

In the picture is Sabine, Otis, Amelie, Emilie, Tom, and Gabriel. Marinette recognizes Gabriel Agreste, and is shocked that her parents never mentioned knowing him before.

Sabine tells Mari that Tom and Gabriel used to be best friends for a long time, which introduced Amelie and Emilie to their little university friend group. She recalls their days fondly and says their connections were irreplaceable, but admits that the group hadn't done the best efforts for keeping in contact. After Emilie's health had declined, most of the group drifted apart for various personal reasons despite them all trying their best to keep in touch. Amelie and Gabriel had been unreachable since Emilie's coma and Sabine tells her daughter she wishes she could have told them all together what they meant to her.

The two go down together for dinner, but Marinette can't stop thinking about her mom's stories and the Ladybug proposal. Though when she tries to talk to Tikki in the night and following days, the faerie does not respond.

Marinette goes to school at the beginning of a new term, nearly late because of her late night cleanups of the attic, and is met with Alya, Nino, and Chloe.

Chloe had stopped her petty bullying at a much younger age, and the four of them had been a strong group since they were kids.

Walking into the building, a crowd has amassed, but as the four try to shuffle their way past, Chloe squeals and runs to plucks the person grabbing all the attention from the crowd.

Pulling Adrien Agreste out, Chloe holds his arm tight and manages to scare the crowd away. Happily pulling him along, she introduces him to the other three as her best friend since diapers.

Marinette embarrassingly realizes that she's face to face with the model she's had a crush on since she was a kid, and fumbles a greeting to him and a sweaty handshake. He doesn't seem to mind (or notice) at all, and the four go to their class to pick their seats.

Chloe gives up her front row seat with Nino for Adrien, and instead takes the empty seat behind Alya and Mari, and next to Nathanael.

Midway through class, the first akuma alarm in 2 years goes off, and the school is a mess of kids trying to escape.

Adrien disappears in the rush, and the other four make it out of the school, but Alya gets caught by the akuma on the way out. Nino and Chloe immediately run after her, but Marinette is frozen in shock and loses them in the crowd.

Running into a deserted alleyway, Marinette tries to talk with Tikki again, panicked and begging the faerie to respond and tell her what to do so she can save her friends.

Tikki seems to have woken up from a slumber, but quickly recollects herself and guides Marinette what to do. She transforms and sees Chat Noir already on the scene, as he helps her clumsy landing into the battle.

They're both nervous, but Chat helps her get her breathing under control before they turn their attention back at the fight. Trying to get a scope on the situation, Chat suggests she ask her faerie how best to deal with an akuma. Tikki tells them what she told Bri about purifying, faerie spirits, and a bit more about her Ladybug abilities.

They go about clearing the civilians out of the way first, before dealing with the akumas directly. After clearing everyone away, they see their three friends in the hands of the enemy. Before Chat Noir can step in, Ladybug confronts the akuma. She's terrified, and she's shaking, but she resolves herself in saving her friends and the civilians that are helpless. Chat watches her in awe as she faces the akuma, before the two of them manage to end the fight.

After they purify the akuma, an eerie voice begins to speak to them through their miraculous. Sounding like two voices overlapping, the voice tells them that he's coming for their miraculous, and there's nothing they can do to delay the inevitable. That he'll keep sending akuma after akuma, to create his perfect world.

After the message ends, the two evade the press, as Chat Noir leads them to a nearby rooftop to talk in private. They discuss the voice they heard, and formally introduce themselves. Before they can talk more, their miraculous begin to beep, and Chat tells her what the beeping means for their faerie's recharge. He suggests they meet up later that night to discuss more things, but Ladybug hesitates. He tells her there's no pressure, but to think about it- also telling her that it's nice to finally have a quick thinking partner beside him with the akumas coming back.

They both leave the rooftop in different directions, and she hides again to drop her transformation. Tikki tells her she's going to stay in the earrings to rest until she can eat since Marinette wants to check in on her friends, but if Marinette could maybe snag her some cookies from the bakery when they get home.

Mari reunites with Nino, Alya, and Chloe, and the three are fangirling about the superheroes encounter. Marinette hugs them, glad that they're okay. Adrien rejoins them as well, saying he had to take shelter when the attack started. School is dismissed for the rest of the day, as well as school tomorrow, as the staff has to go over more codes and emergency situations with the return of akumas.

Marinette goes home, snagging a few cookies from the bakery, and on her way upstairs, wonders how best to tell Tikki that there's bound to be a better Ladybug out there. Though she stops in her tracks when she sees that her sister is home.

She hugs her sister, and the two catch up a bit. Bridgette mentions she caught the end of the battle from the day's akuma, and asks Marinette if she saw it since it was near her school.

Marinette lies and says she was hiding, and Bri describes it to her, but surprises Marinette by singing high praises for the new Ladybug. Bridgette bittersweetly admires how the new Ladybug was terrified but still managed to pull through and save the day. Saying she can see her push through and do the right things even when they're hard- something that Scarlet couldn't do. She sees hope in the new Ladybug, and tells Marinette that whoever it was, Tikki chose well.

Before Marinette could respond, Bridgette gets a text on her phone. Blushing at the notification, Bridgette gathers the last stuff she came to pick up. Hugging Mari goodbye, she's out the door with promises of seeing her on the weekend for dinner, leaving Marinette alone in the room to think about what she said.

After dinner, Marinette goes to her new room in the attic, and hesitantly brings Tikki out. Recharged from the cookies earlier, Tikki brings up the Chat's proposal from earlier to meet up. Her earlier thoughts of turning the Ladybug role down conflict with her sister's words, and she ultimately agrees to transform and meet her new partner. Though as she transforms and leaves through the upper balcony, she doesn't notice her dad, who came up to ask her about school, poking out from the attic hatch. He watches the balcony hatch a bit after she leaves before going into the kitchen.

She meets up with Night Watch, who admits to doubting a bit if she'd come.

"You came"

"That's what good partners do, right?"

The two discuss things like patrol schedules, and Chat catches her up on a lot of things he would do while transformed. He tells her he had contact with the previous holder and a mentor, and asked if she did as well, to which she sheepishly denied. Chat tells her not to worry, telling her that her fae will tell her a lot too, but that her black cat partner will always be there for her. She rolls her eyes at whatever puns and flirts he makes but offers him a grin at that, pushing her fist out for a fist bump. He returns it.

As she comes home, and drops her transformation, she finds the attic hatch open, and her dad humming in the kitchen below. Seeing her at the hatch, Tom smiles and motions for his daughter to join him in the otherwise empty kitchen.

As she sits down, he pulls. A fresh batch of cookies from the stovetop, telling her they just finished cooling. Marinette laughs and eats one, but freezes when her dad asks if Tikki would like some too. At her reaction, he gives a warm, but concerned smile, and tells her he knows it's the faerie's favorite.

Tikki comes out of the earrings, and faces Tom. She tries to explain why she hadn't left, but he stops her. Telling both Tikki and Marinette that he knows what responsibilities lie in waiting for Ladybug- and how their biggest downfall is them taking on too many things by themselves.

He knows he can't help in the ways he wants to as a father, but tells Marinette that she has him at home, a partner in the Black Cat, and someone he wants her to see the next day since she doesn't have school. He reassures her that they're never alone, and has a team by her side. Marinette and Tikki both wrap Tom in an embrace as all three eat the cookies.

The next day, Tom takes Marinette to her Uncle Fu's shop, confusing the girl. She's been there a million times, and voices her confusion to her father, who laughs it off and tells her to follow him inside.

There, they see Fu, who smiles knowingly and greets the family friends before closing up the shop. He calls Wayzz out, and tells the two to follow him to the back of the shop to discuss recent developments and mentions that he hears Marinette is in the market for a mentor.

Meanwhile, Adrien is happy he's made new friends, his ability to finally go to public school, and his amazing new hero partner.

Though back in his room, he voices to Plagg his concerns about his father: mostly about how distant he has become- as he barely speaks to Adrien anymore and makes Nathalie do any interacting with the boy. Noting that even when Gabriel does talk to him, his voice is cold and monotone; nothing like the father he knew before who- even at his lowest- would make sure to spend time with his son.

Adrien resolves himself to do his best for his father, hopeful that the Gabriel he knew will come back some day to them.

-So what people would not realize is how much support Marinette needed at the early days. And when Lila is replacing Alya. Drama is sure to ensue.

-Stormy weather happens but with some changes.

-Lila is still good at lying to kids, so convincing Manon to go to the park was easy.

-The difference is that it’s Lila pushing to be in the photo shoot. Marinette hasn’t told Lila of her crush on Adrien, since Lila is pursuing him.

-Lila being more forward talking to Adrien. Adrien is polite but tells Lila he can’t just have anyone join the photo shoot.

-Marinette distracts herself by hanging with Manon.

-Of course Lila gets an idea to use Manon as a means in and offers to take Manon on the merry go round

-Stormy weather strikes and freezes then in.

-Ladybug and chat noir spring into action and Stormy weather is beaten like in canon.

-Afterward Lila’s plan works… sort of. Manon ended up being liked by the photographer and she ended up modeling with Adrien.

-Adrien asked Marinette if she would want to be in the photos, but this shyer Marinette declined.

-Adrien asks then how about a photo with a friend. Which lets Marinette get a picture with Adrien on her phone.

-Bubbler happens, But Tikki takes the roll of motivator. Lila is doing her own thing for a gift for Adrien.

-Lila and Chloe end up arguing over Adrien at the party. Causing Bubbler to get annoyed and bubble them both. Adrien realizes this is not a good thing and go help

-The scarf plot happens pretty much the same

-Lady Wifi doesn’t happen in this season since no Alya.

-Copycat doesn’t happen because no Alya to encourage Marinette to call Adrien. And ladybug is there to give Theo the autograph and keep Chat noir from being jelly.

-Mr.Pigeon does happen. Lila finding out Marinette is a designer and offers to help. Adrien’s encouragement convinced her to do it. Lila notes that Marinette might have a crush on Adrien. But holds back mentioning it.

- Pharaoh does happen but without the plotline with the history book doesn’t happen. Lila gets kidnapped then ditched. Ladybug saved her. So Lila gets done gloating in about meeting ladybug

-pixalator is the same except Lila is much more pissed since Chloe made her jobs the worst.

-Evillustrator happens, Lila of course pretends to be sympathetic to Marinette. Aside from that she also tries to pair up Marinette and Nathanael since she figured out he had a crush on her. Though this doesn’t work. The marichat is the same.

-Rogercop is virtually the same, but Lila is the one blamed.

-Timebreaker is the same, Puppeteer is basically the same, but no lady wifi. It was bubbler instead.

-Reflekta is the same but Lila tried taking more credit for the photo idea. But everyone knew it was Marinette.

-Kungfood happens, but Lila does use this as a chance to invite Adrien. They both go Lila saying that two translators will be better than one. Adrien being the actual translator helps more. Lila and Chloe butt heads allowing for Marinette to get closer to adrien

- The mine, Guitar villain and Antibug are basically the same. Same with Lady fragrance (except Lila also tries to be buddy buddy with the prince)

-Animan happens but not exactly. So Adrien does try to set up Nino and Marinette. Lila overhears about the idea and decides to help set this up too. This ends up failing as similar to canon, Nino ends up saying he had a crush on her friend. Which Lila doesn’t even accept. So it’s a harsh no. Lila even spills that Marinette has a crush on Adrien and she was hoping that she would use Nino to move on. And Nino sees Lila’s more callous side, knowing the girl is into Adrien decides that his bro deserves better girls. And also Nino does come to appreciate how actually kind Marinette is. Adrien offers to help after but Nino declines, saying that yes he thinks Marinette is a sweet girl but is more Adrien’s type. Which Adrien was a bit surprised by.

-Darkblade happens, but with Lila saying she will run instead of Marinette. Lila having Marinette be her assistant. With Lila being the competition, Sabrina went to investigate Lila. Interestingly enough it was Marinette’s leadership that swayed the votes and Marinette ended up elected. Lila was fuming, but hid it, saying she will help her out.

-Horrificator, Lila was the actress in the film instead of Mylene. Mylene still ended up scared of the mask and ruined a shot. Thus having her run off. And things go on relatively fine until the supposed kiss scene. Chloe gets into a big arguement over it with Lila, in which the Class got annoyed with both of them and told them to discuss it outside. Nino suggested Marinette takeover the roll as Lila and Chloe will be arguing all day. The class agrees.

-The kiss does happen by the way, chloe and Lila are the victims of Horrificator.

-The rest of the episode happens, with Lila losing her voice so Mylene takes over the role now brave.

-and that takes us all the way to Volpina. Which I think deserves it’s own part

So the long-awaited Gabriel Agreste episode. The first ep with the name of an actual character in it, and supposedly the harbinger of so many pivotal events to come. The question remains though: is it gonna be worth the long delay?

Judging by this synopsis, the short prediction is ‘no’.

1. There’s ALWAYS a plan to get Marinette and Adrien together from overzealous classmates. Change the record, already. At least it isn’t Alya and the Girl Squad this time around…

2. Adrien is ‘free of his father’s…’ what? Terrible parenting? Impossible expectation? Bad breath? Or maybe that ‘ is a typo, and Gabriel was in a sham marriage all this time. Now that would be a twist!

3. Chloe being a jerk yet again. I’d like to say I’m surprised, but tbh at this stage I’d be surprised if she wasn’t considering who’s in charge. Thomas gotta build up those Mary-Zoe brownie points!

4. Obviously with all the possible solutions to this ‘major’ problem, Marc and Nath decide to… dress in drag and crash the party. After all, the episode where Marinette did it was so loved(!) Maybe we’ll get some development of the boys’ intriguing relationship, but nah. That would distract from shenanigans. And Adrinette(!!)

5. The problem with the episodes being aired out of sequence is we already KNOW Adrien isn’t gonna be banned from returning to school, so where’s the suspense? (I wonder if the show would be better if viewed in order, actually. I have my doubts.)

6. Will Ladybug save the day, you ask? Will the show dangle a potentially interesting carrot in front of our greedy, beady eyes, only to snatch it away at the last second because ‘Status Quo Is God’? I think we both know the answer to that lil conundrum…

So there you have it. Another infinitely skippable episode, another mini-rant packed with all the time-wasting nit-picks you could possibly require.

After Hawkmoth’s defeat and reveal, Adrien hates his surname, and wants to get rid of it.

The class, being the good kids they are, one and all, immediately offer to adopt Adrien and give him their surname. Any member of the class, hanging out with Adrien, or introducing him, will say this “This is Adrien (surname), my brother/cousin” and will defend him if stupid people on the street try to give him shit.

(The only one of the class who isn’t allowed to adopt Adrien is Marinette, despite how quickly she volunteers-the class all know he’s gonna wind up as a Dupain-Cheng at some point anyways)

Years have passed and now Marinette is a part time student who has a job at a flowershop near her parents' bakery. Adrien has cut himself off from his father and is now roommates with old classmate Nathanael Kurtzberg, who just happens to work at the tattoo parlor next door to a very cute flower shop.

Everyone seems to be living their lives well, that is, until... Hawkmoth decides finally to come out of hiding.
