i know i must’ve discussed this with you before but it unnerves me still and i get confused as to whether a guy likes me or is attracted to me because i have younger features. like not even talking about kpop and it’s fetishes with portraying as young, bareface “baby face” stuff but it’s so weird when you delve into it.

we attribute babies with clean, bare, tiny, innocent, wide-eyed and soft skin. we think they’re adorable and cute and precious especially when they’re in clothing that’s too big for them. but why is it that there are so many men attracted to that in females? the wide-eyed, innocent, oversized shirt wearing petite females often get so much attention. like once again i’m not explaining well, going off on a rant but it has nothing to do with pedos or creeps but just normal people thinking of me as cute and attractive (obviously middle aged guys at work). i can never wrap my head around it and therefore i can’t genuinely accept that a guy sees me as attractive and not my youth. does that make sense? i guess reading about the book lolita and other media like 20 yr old’s getting married to 50 yr old’s is what’s corrupted my mind. I assume there’s some psychological thing to it because to fetishize and be attracted to someone who looks much younger is weird as hell imo. even if they are of age too. anyways goodnight pls excuse my old man rambling and sending luv ur way<333

There is def everything u mentioned and also the whole cultural phenomenon of women needing to be young and beautiful forever to have any worth. It's so weird on so many levels! 18-25 year olds are so fetishized and held to such high regards in beauty that you have all these children now trying to look like they're adults on top of grown women trying to look younger and youthful always, meanwhile guys are allowed to age normally lmao. And the way you will see so many grown men preying on those literal children too telling them that they like them cuz they're "mature" for their age, and then older men not going after ppl their own age but younger girls, it's all so disturbing. I hate that sm lmao. And from a more personal perspective I completely understand you being cautious because realtalk how do u know who's after what lol. But I guess if someone approaches you who is not a creepy older man and u trust them and u know they like u for you and u like them as well then it may be worth a shot too. I wish men weren't how they are tho 🙄

Also the whole "baby" aesthetic thing like you mentioned and grown ass ppl using that is so weird to me???? When I see some celebs and idols and regular ass ppl doing all that I'm so bothered and it's smtn I can't rly explain most of the time but it rly is the whole sexualizing and fetishizing being young and pure and child like and innocent which is just so...eugh. there's alr way too much of that shit in anime why do we gotta see it in other media too 😭 hate it so bad

i have been blessed ;-; that landscape is GORGEOUS. the landscape here is really, truly beautiful but there is something very special about the ocean itself...even through pictures. middle of the week is always the best time to do stuff cause there are definitely less people out and about which is nice haha i think we are also open for inside dining now?? maybe?? i know the staff pub at least is open so i think that's the case haha

I just saw your last ask and i know we’ve only interacted a couple of times and i haven’t had the chance to read your fics but I do want to say coming from another writer, it’s hard to write when you don’t get enough engagement with readers :/

But my main belief when I write is that ultimately, who you should be writing for is yourself. By that I mean that I’m well aware other ppl write better whether it’s clearer/more elegant/more descriptive and what readers want is valuable, but the ideas I have that I love are something that I can do and don’t want to be pressured into doing something else. (i’m not making sense lol) but basically try to just write without a care :) You’re probably talented in different areas and your ideas are also probably what others wouldn’t be able to think of so u r a good writer!! :)

It’s hard when you get into a slump of comparing yourself and truly wondering why you should write. But I really want to stress that there is at least a couple people if not one, who enjoy your writing and look forward to it :) There will always be someone who loves your writing and you should keep that in your heart for whenever you feel like this 💗

As for the spending countless time on fics only to barely be noticed, that is hard to get over especially when it comes to fics you may personally like more than others :/ but really do keep on if you want to, I say this because I feel this way many times when I write, like why am i doing this? You really have to take a step back and consider that this writing is for fun and you can do things on your own time. Heck, I still haven’t finished a series from 2 yrs ago😭 I can’t stress this enough but please don’t push yourself, I and many others just want you to have fun :) 💗

First of all thank you so so so much for taking the time to send me such a long message when, like you said, we haven’t really interracted a lot 💗 it always comforts me to see other writers go through the same stuff as me and you really described my feelings perfectly

I appreciate your take on: ‘you’re talented in your own special ways as a writer’, I will try to keep that in mind next time I compare myself to others :/ And I will take your advice on writing things at my own pace, it seems like I always have to be on a schedule as a writer when that’s not the case. I really needed to hear that I think! 

As for writing for myself, I will adress that in a similar ask I just got, I don’t want to waste your time :) but again, thank you so much for writing this for me, you’re an angel, truly!!

BDJDH okay I've only seen the MV once a number of hours ago + a bunch of gifs and I've heard the song like twice lol, I think the song is fun! It's not my favourite taemin song by all means and I do think this cb is a lot heavier on the visual aspect of which I could appreciate. I've seen a lot of ppl saying he's topped himself which I'm v eh about but idk overall I don't think it's bad? 7/10 on a kpop scale and 6/10 on a taemin scale. I think I'll have a better idea once I see the song performed live
