Ching Shih: La Reina Invencible de los Mares del Sur
Tumblr media

What eyebrow mods do you use for your canon Warden in Origins, they look really good compared to the vanilla ones?
Hi anon ❤ So I have a couple of versions, I'll list both as I'm not sure which screenshots you're referring to. All the evolutions of my Amell use a base of the the Sorcha preset from Lovely Presets, with a few of my own slider tweaks.
Tumblr media
This preset requires the following mods:
Chingshih Skins SJC's Realistic Skins Bidelle's Cosmetics CC's Exra Tints & Tones Anto's Hairstyles
I don't know which one in particular affects the eyebrows, but I assume it's either CS skins or SJC's skins. In any case if you download everything and use a chargenmorph merger, you should have it in your character creator.
The newer iteration of my Amell uses Mulderitsme's Brows, which I find super pretty and defined.

Happy chargenning!

And the most #badasspiratelady 👑 🏴‍☠️ award goes to #chingshih aka Ching I Sao Ching Shih and her crew's exploits had since been featured in numerous books, novels, video games, and films about piracy, #pirates and their way of life in #china as well as #worldwide. She is widely considered to be the most #successful pirate in history, based on the fact that she commanded the largest crew ever assembled, and that she died in her own bed as a #freewoman . 1) Anyone giving their own orders (ones that didn't come down from Ching Shih) or disobeying those of a superior was beheaded on the spot. 2) No one was to steal from the public fund or any villagers that supplied the pirates. 3) All goods taken as booty had to be presented for group inspection. The booty was registered by a purser and then distributed by the Fleet Leader. The original seizer received 20% and the rest was placed into the public fund. Ching Shih's code had special rules for female captives. Standard practice was to release women, but J.L. Turner witnessed differently. Usually the pirates made their most beautiful captives their concubines or wives. If a pirate took a wife he had to be faithful to her. The ones deemed unattractive were released and any remaining were ransomed. Pirates that raped female captives were put to death, but if pirates had consensual sex with captives, the pirate was beheaded and the woman he was with had cannonballs attached to her legs and was thrown over the side of the boat. #feminismrules #handbookforhotwitches #hot #witches #hotwitches #piratequeen @damedarcy .com 🏴‍☠️🌊👑 https://etsy.me/33sJ9vg @henryholtbooks https://www.instagram.com/p/B4o_vZgFhou/?igshid=hzk556ri1bw3

5. Ching Shih- Considered one of the most successful pirates in general in history. Shih amassed an incredible fleet during her life, about 300 hundred ships and somewhere between 20,000 to 40,000 crew that manned all of her vessels. She fought off established nations such as the British Empire, the Qing Dynasty, and the Portuguese. She died a free woman a different narrative from the beginning of her story as a prostitute. She was a businesswoman, a feminine visionary. She married into the piracy game but eventually maneuvered and manipulated so that when her husband died, she became the leader of his own pirate empire. She even created her own pirate laws, which outlawed the rape of women in her fleet. #5femalepiratesofhistory #pirateempire #authorsophiamenesini #theveiledthreat #theveiledduchessseries #chingshih #badasswomenofhistory (at Alhambra Valley, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2TAFVVAMNZ/?igshid=10n5e0dgq6xoo

Meet Ching Shih, a former prostitute who became a pirate in the early 1800s and was known as ‘The Terror of South China’ thanks to her devastating success. At its height, her fleet comprised nearly 1,800 ships, and controlled the coast from Macau to Canton. Deeming her undefeatable, the Chinese eventually offered her total amnesty. Ching Shih kept *all* her assets, her men walked free, and she retired to Canton and ran a popular gambling house til she died peacefully in 1844 at age 70. #100daysofbadassery #attagirl #ladypirate #chingshih #getthatpaper #yoheauxheaux #arrr

After Hearing a Sexist Children's Song With His Daughter, Armie Hammer Set the Record Straight
Raising a little girl in 2018 means having plenty of tough conversations: not only will you eventually have to break the news about periods, but you've also got to explain uncomfortable things like why she never owes anybody a hug or why her school might not let her wear a favorite outfit. One of these unfortunate (yet necessary) talks is explaining to little girls that sometimes, society thinks certain things are just for boys - and that they should never let that affect their interests or aspirations. Luckily for Armie Hammer's 3-year-old daughter, Harper, her dad is vocal about this last point, and history is there to back him up. Just listened to a children's song with Harper and the girl wanted to be a princess and the boy wanted to be a pirate... I guess they forgot the most successful pirate of all time was a woman who controlled a pirate army of 40,000. #ChingShih - Armie Hammer (@armiehammer) February 28, 2018 After hearing a children's song with sexist undertones, Armie was quick to call bullsh*t on the messages his daughter was listening to. "Just listened to a children's song with Harper and the girl wanted to be a princess and the boy wanted to be a pirate," the Call Me by Your Name actor tweeted. Then, he came in with the facts: "I guess they forgot the most successful pirate of all time was a woman who controlled a pirate army of 40,000." Perhaps the best part about this is that Armie is understating the prowess of the world's greatest pirate, Ching Shih - she actually commanded around 80,000 pirate sailors in a fleet of 1,500 ships. Hear that, world? Girls can be princesses, pirates, or whatever the hell they want to be! http://bit.ly/2FeFFAi
