This is the most I’ve done for Inktober before! 7 days in, following a narrative:

Ida packed her backpack. As she prepared for her search for Lady, an envelope was slipped under her door.

The envelope contained a photograph of Lady and a map. She ran to the door, wishing to confront the messenger, but discovered no one there.

Thunder clapped as Ida came back inside. She wiped her feet on the mat and stepped into her rain boots.

She looked wistfully at Lady’s squished face, staring back at her in the photograph. There was no doubt about it; This was her exotic shorthair.

She grabbed her binoculars, headed to the door, then paused to take one last look around her cozy home.

The mysterious map indicated a location that was about 12 miles away. Ida began her trek, wary of where it would take her. The letter had not been signed.

As she passed her broken down Honda Passport in the driveway she regretted not getting it fixed sooner.
