Children of Aphrodite have the type of beauty you never forget. You’ll remember it and start to fantasise about them, until you realise you can’t quite remember the colour of their eyes or the quite shade of their hair. But you just know they’re extremely beautiful. Gummy smiles here and there. Their voices are attractive, no matter the volume that they might speak. Features that they have are beautiful no matter what size. People that felt insecure of something specific like freckles, change their minds when they see a child of Aphrodite that has them—because it looks so wonderful on them that they can’t help but admire it.

Children of Poseidon have the rebellious type of beauty where you know or think they’re a trouble maker. Anything looks good on them, especially piercings. It’s the type of face which would make you blush upon making eye contact with them. Or the type of beauty where you’ll think, “wow.” They look like Roman gods. Too bad most of them never realise it, not even when they have a lover. (Cough cough..Percy).

Children of Ares have the type of looks that make your whole entire body hot and makes your brain stop working for a couple of seconds after first meeting them. It’s the type of beauty where you’ll stutter or start to mumble underneath their fiery gaze and the intense atmosphere that surrounds them. You feel somewhat intimidated but that intrigues you and pulls you in. There’s a reason why Aphrodite was attracted to Ares y’know. It’s the type of thing where you’ll wonder, “who is he” “what’s her name?”. While children of Poseidon look like Roman gods, children of Ares full-on look like Greek gods. Most of the have sculpted features on their bodies or faces. They have attractive arms, not necessarily muscular but when you watch their arms move you can help but be attracted to have pleasing they look. They have smiles that are somewhat crooked but mostly it seems like a challenge, like “hah..? What did you say?” Or “*..you think you can hurt me?”, “what the hell was that, can’t you do better than that?”.

Werner Schuch (1843-1918), 'The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse', 1910 I'm posting this piece of art as an excuse to reference the Greek rock band Aphrodite's Child's third and final album, 666 (considered by many to be a progressive/psychedelic rock classic). It was the band's third and final album released in 1972 and their only double LP. "The central concept is a countercultural interpretation of the Book of Revelation, in which a circus show based on the apocalypse performs for an audience at the same time that the real apocalypse takes place outside the circus tent, and at the end the two merge into one." The song I wanted to share was the 4th song on side one of the LP, 'The Four Horsemen'. It's a song that's been waiting to end up on a mix that I've yet to make. Note: this was one Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou's (aka Vangelis) bands that he helped form back in 1967 at the age of 25.

You're shocked to find out that he doesn't think you're attractive cause of your looks. Well, not JUST cause of your looks. Leo fell in love with the way you talk, passionately arguing for points you believe in. He fell in love with the way you smell when you've been laying out in the sunshine, the little giggle you do when you're trying to hold back a laugh in the middle of telling a story. He fell for the weird faces you make when you do your makeup, especially your mascara. he fell in love with how your hands felt on his when you taught him how to do the back of your hair. he fell for how you always know when he needs a redbull, the weird positions you sleep in, the zoned out little stare you make when you're trying to pretend you're not tired, even though you're exhausted. Leo loves all of you. If you ask him, each and every trait and aspect, inside and out, must have been hand crafted by Aphrodite herself. There's no way someone as perfect as you could exist otherwise.

Y/N sat in cabin ten completely ruled with boredom. She had painted her nails, done her makeup, made her bed, made several of her siblings beds, but still she could not find a way to entertain herself.

“Come on, Y/N,” she looked up at the sound of her sister’s voice, “what’s wrong?” Piper now sat at the end of Y/N’s bed, looking at her sympathetically.

Y/N rolled her eyes, “nothing’s wrong, Piper, I’m fine.”

“Jason’s busy and no one else lets you annoy them as much.”

Ding, ding, ding!

She grabbed a pillow and hid her face in it, “he’s always busy.”

Her sister laughed and took the pillow away, “if you go to his cabin, I doubt he’ll turn you away.”

Y/N shrugged, “I know, but I’ve tried to go to his cabin while he’s working on something and I’m just as bored there.”

“Talk his ear off until he has no choice but to pay attention to you,” Piper joked.

Y/N laughed, “I’ll try.”

“Good luck!” Piper called to Y/N as she walked out of the door.

Y/N hopelessly made her way to cabin one. She knew how seriously Jason took his work and this might as well be a wild goose chase, but she also knew she was driving her siblings crazy. When she finally reached the cabin, she didn't even bother to knock on the door. She let herself in, finding an exhausted Jason sitting at his desk with a pencil in his hand.

He glanced over at her, “hey.”

She smiled, walking over to him. She rested her head on top of his and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, “whatcha doin’?” She knew exactly what he was doing, plans of altars for minor gods filling his desk. When he hummed in response, she could tell how weary he was, “you weren't at dinner. Did you eat at all?”

“Not yet,” he answered, slightly resting against her arm.

She moved to now be kneeling beside his chair, looking up at him, “baby,” she grabbed his hand, “I love you and I get how important this is to you, but you should understand how important you are to me,” she paused and waited for his eyes to meet hers, “you need to take a break.”

He sighed, not wanting to agree with her, knowing she was right. He squeezed her hand before finally putting down his pencil and standing up. She smiled and softly pressed a kiss to his lips.

“Let’s go get you something to eat,” she spoke, dragging him out of the cabin.

He chuckled at her urgency but followed her anyway. If there was one thing that mattered to either of them, it was that no matter what, where, or how, they would find a way to prove just how much they loved the other. Whether that was trying to convince a workaholic to take a break or admitting when the other was right.

My head canons about Drew Tanaka:

1. Her father is a child of Dionysius. I mean she does give the vibes of the wine aunt.

2. She has siblings. And not like other children of Aphrodite. Her father has other children.

3. Her father was an actor when he met Aphrodite and fell in love with her and had Drew. When he found out that she was a goddess and just disappeared into thin air he was furious.

4. He wanted revenge and that attracted Nemesis. And thus her 1st brother was born. (in my AU his name is Ethan, I love this name) He made him even more angry and he was petty as hell.

5. He decided to practice magic to get his revenge and this attracted *drum role* Hecate. And thus her 2nd brother was born.(in my AU his name is Albastor, I love this name as well) After this her father gave up and just tried to raise them as a single parent.

6. Drew is allergic to like everything. Trying to buy her something is very hard. Like chocolates, can't have pistachios or almonds in them. Clothes, don't you dare give her silk she will kill you and then die. Flowers, well you get it.

7. She is bisexual and falls in love with every single person she meets. Never in a serious way but she gets bi panic all the time.

8. The 1st time she broke someone's heart, it was a mortal boy and she felt horrible for it.

9. She dated Nyssa (from Hepheastus cabin) secretly for 3 months and then went public. She is in a serious relationship with her and is absolutely smitten.

10. She was very close to Selina. Her betrayal was a big blow to her. I don't think she hated Selina for betraying camp but rather because she left her. I think she probably felt as if Selina chose her love for Charles over her.

11. She can use a gun. Seriously I imagine that the camp is under attack and everyone is fighting. And then Drew *I don't fight* Tanaka will pull out a gun and start shooting every monster in range with perfect accuracy.

12. She is friends with the Stoll twins, Malcolm pace, Nyssa, and Katie. And she high key ships Travis and Katie.
