Yesterday, my mom went with me to one of the many thrift shops I check once a week.

And found a cute dress, black with white flower detailing.

For 15 dollars.

It was her first day looking.

if I may add, (and if someone has already added something like this I'm sorry) you can also find pretty good CDs for cheap at your local thrift stores.

if you have the patience to read through all the titles, and check the actual CDs for scratches, you can find come real gold! though you do generally have to sift through mostly Christmas albums and possibly things you're not interested in, you can really find some gems!!

(personally I've found CDs of horror movie sound effects, Christmas songs done entirely by bagpipes, 3 hours of Loon noises, and SO MUCH CLASSICAL.)

usually from what I've seen CD prices in the thrift range from about 1-3 dollars (Canadian) a piece. granted, you may not be able to find the latest albums and music in thrifts, if you're into older music, (or even blank burnable CDs) I'd suggest checking them out.

also, if you don't usually carry around a cd player (I feel like someone has said this part) you can rip or copy the music off the cd into digital mp3 or mp4 format to play on, say, an mp3 player or a laptop. (can't remember which format right now)
