Not thinking about Ghost's mom running away with Tommy and Simon when they are teenagers to a little town in the middle of nowhere, Scotland, no sir.

Not thinking about that little town being a werewolf town that doesn't like outsiders but welcome the struggling human mother and her kids because they can smell lies and know she's a good person, nu-uh.

Not thinking about Ghost not mingling with the other kids in his highschool, having anger issues and social issues because of his trauma, nope.

Absolutely not thinking about extrovert Soap being the only one that still tries to talk to him after everyone has given up on socialising with the new human kid that came from nowhere, para nada.

Also no thinking about Ghost getting a hobby like wood carving to help his anger issues but being really bad at it at the beginning, learning how to have patience, trust the process, learn to love the imperfections on the little sculptures he does, noooop.

And especially not thinking about Ghost giving an objectively ugly tiny carving of a deer to Soap for his birthday that Soap's inner wolf accepts as a courting gift, neither Ghost nor Soap knowing that, no, no, no.

Omg love the idea, but can we talk about when Gaz, his golden child, his favourite cussed him out?

Like idk, Gaz was away in a mission and didn't know about the Soap fiasco and he (Soap) sure as hell didn't tell him.

So Gaz coming back after said mission, with 2 hours of sleep and an stale Oreo was tired and didn't like how Price was scolding him about his grammar in the report or something

Nik taught Ghost, Gaz, and Soap how to cuss and insult someone in Russian. He told them Price didn’t know Russian so they could get away with cussing him out. Unfortunately (for them), Price does know Russian. He’s actually fluent. So when Soap called him a ‘dick’ in Russian, he immediately responded with “Я заставлю тебя пожалеть, что встал сегодня.” (I’ll make you regret getting up today).

Soap was terrified to ask for the translation.

(Nik felt bad for not telling them that Price understood Russian but the look on Soap’s face made it worth it.)

thinking about how (novel) cher was the one who pursued oyei. thinking about how one of the ways he flirted with him was calling himself yak's mother. thinking about how (show) oyei saved cher the first time they met. thinking about how cher was the first person oyei trained in the gym.

i just need cher to be incredibly bad at flirting. he's never had to really flirt too much so he's just winging it. meanwhile oyei is completely oblivious to cher's advances. he just thinks the pretty guy he saved from some jerks a while ago is here to learn self defense and is mostly just being nice to him because of what happened.

it would make their current dynamic just so much funnier if cher was the handsy one first, horny out of his mind for the sweet oblivious boxer and trying just about everything he can think of to get oyei. meanwhile oyei is just his best to hide his attraction to cher and stay professional.

Okay, so Cher is on Yei's side no matter what, even if it means understanding that he was trying to protect him from the reality of what was happening. I'm so glad. He really is the mom who just wants to keep the family together while Yak aches and leaves.

So twisted that when Claudia asserted that she would be a sister from now on instead of a daughter she thought that it would raise her to become equal with her parents and they would start to see her as an adult, but instead what happened is that their family dynamic changed so that Louis' position was lowered to a child's level with Claudia

Mostly because, Yak gave the biggest younger sibling energy here and I was reminded why, as the oldest, I nearly always vibe harder with the elder sibling. I’m not even mad or disappointed. Younger sibling fails to see the sacrifices that have been made on their behalf or how they’ve been protected from the worst of their family, or worse is mad about it:

Like, the whole fight that Yak and Yei are having is about Yei not involving Yak and treating him like a baby and here is Yak failing to see anything from Yei’s perspective because he’s been sheltered. (This is not all younger siblings but it’s not uncommon)

Dad is only the enemy if you both see him as the enemy and as Yei has been largely shouldering his burdens alone that his parents have left him with, I don’t think Yak ever viewed Dad as the enemy we all did. Yak seemed genuinely pleased that their dad showed up in the boxing gym a few eps ago even if it was to mostly yell at Yak for failing. He seemed upset when Yei cut the conversation short and made him come practice instead of continuing to engage with their dad. As an audience we all got it but, Yak didn’t realize how much Yei had on his plate and what he was struggling with. Some of that is on Yei, but most of it is on their parents (including mom who was like it’s up to you now to take care of your brother) rather than tasking her husband with that, and Dad for just dipping. Some of that is that Yak honestly has never actually thought about it because Yei and Cher take care of everything.

But it’s also easier to make Yei the villain and be mad at Yei because Yei isn’t going to go anywhere. Yei is the most stable adult in Yak’s life (after Cher of course). Yei will take the punches and keep showing up because that’s who he is.

Dad on the other hand is wet paper who cant take a punch and Yak still wants something from him, approval, a second chance at goodbye…which is common amongst the younger siblings.

Yak won’t come around for real until Dad survives cancer and dips on them again. Because that’s how that usually works. Or you know, asks for the deed back or suggests that the boxing gym is part theirs now because his wife helped. 🫠

Anyway, team Yei should stay mad at dad and everyone should have backed him. My bluest boy remains the best and deserves the whole world.

Have some HCs about Floyd's appearance and clothing style. In my heart, she's a fashionista. <3

I have adopted the HC that Floyd & Jade are black with vitiligo from @/artjinkies on Twitter.

Plus, this isn't a genderbend. It's a transfem HC. To me, the Tweels are genderfluid, and go by any pronouns. (I will use He/She for Floyd here.)

Both of the twins have hair on their face and on the rest of their body, but while Jade shaves her face (not any other body part), Floyd doesn't tend to shave all of her face, leaving the small stubble (named goat patch) presented above.

I believe that Floyd would rock a mullet that has a sidecut on both sides, with some shaggy haircut vibes, to give it volume. It's very unruly and wavy, which suits her carefree personality. + The black strand on her right side is natural (much like her canon appearance), but the other black parts on the rest of her hair are dyed. He retouches it every one and a half week (with Jade's help).

I also gave her some fin-like ears, much like his merform, because I like the idea that the transformation potion can't conceal all of his original characteristics. He also has some teal markings on her ears, going to her face.

Going to her eyes- I made one straight up black, while the other is a gold yellow and has a blue ring around her pupil. The sclera of the latter eye is a dull yellow.

He has piercings! I couldn't show them all, and I won't describe all of them either, but trust me, he has a lot. Just not as much as Jade, because she's the piercing girlie.

Her tongue is split in two, for the same reason she still has a fin-like ear. Also, she wears braces, lol.

Floyd has scars from fights under the sea, cuts on fingers from cooking, and from his manic episodes that come from her BPD. Though, the episodes are much better now that he's on medication.

For her style: I think she would take inspiration from Emo Scene, Weird Girl core & Casual YK2 Gothic Punk. (Yes, I know it's a very impactful mix, but it works, trust me.)
