thinking about this bc I saw some sk8 fanart. I've always felt that kaoru is not depicted as being unmasculine. he has the traditional masculinity of the refined scholar, which makes for a funny contrast with his high-tech skateboard. I think in the dub kojiro calls him "princess" but that's not a good choice bc he's not actually feminine. and of course many fandoms still love to make one guy in the ship "the girl" but I think people in the eng sk8 fandom really run with that in a way that's not supported by the text. I think him and kojiro are more nerd vs jock than feminine vs masculine. or the Chinese concepts of wen and wu

This worsened diplomatic relations between Eshan and Thyrsus, even resulting in a rebellion that was unfortunately oppressed. Both Eshan and Thyrsus came to seek greater aid from their feuding counterparts in the Republic and Empire, stoking the Cold War to greater heights never seen before in the Eshan territories.

By the time Al is with Dagger and DD, where is Winnie ? What does she think about her daughter's journey?

their clan is attacked by raffen and a lot of the members do not make it. al survives because she wasn't at camp when it happened (she had gotten into an argument with winnie beforehand and left for some alone time ;A;) then comes back to the Horrors(TM). my poor baby angel gorl.....a big part of the reason she seeks out dagger is because she really has nothing left. winnie had tried to shelter her from who dagger was because she never wanted her to have to carry the burden of his crimes and notoriety. the only other person who knew she's dagger's daugther is an old circus friend, ex-maelstrom, who also happens to be losing his marbles. so he starts to talk about dagger to al more and more, and she starts to put it together that he's her father. thus she goes to find him!!

but al and winnie were very close. they had a tight-knit Best Friends kind of relationship, though not without their own tension. winnie really wanted al to be a dancer like she was, and al wanted to make her happy, but she hated it. and she's not good at it. and she has a lot of fear/anxiety about performing which often caused a lot of conflict between them. but winnie is the type of person who would be so proud of al for doing anything and always believed in her and championed her to others.

and likewise, winnie always saw the Good that was left in dagger (a trait al inherited from her) despite the Atrocities. she felt a lot of resentment and betrayal toward him of course, but she wouldn't doubt his capacity to change/love his own family. she might be...hesitant about al being with him, but she wouldn't be afraid. she knows he'd do anything to keep her safe and had in fact always kept him as a fall back plan if things got dangerous for them :')

but she would be so proud of al for being brave and growing so much and maintaining her love and whimsy despite the world being mean!!!

ooooo I love the idea of fi coming out of the sword and chilling with link and yeah the urge to try to design link as a dragon is so strong bc dragons are so so cool!!! I definitely think green to teal/aqua would be pretty for horns and the spikes on the back 👍 I also thought it’d be neat if there was some sort of moss/plant/vines on him just bc hero of the wild and idk i think it’s cool 😭👍I need to learn how to draw dragons immediately or im gonna explode‼️‼️

yeah, i think a nature-themed dragon would fit in well with his vibe, , maybe his horns would look more like tree branches or antlers that are different than the antlers that the light dragon has, maybe something more akin to an antler that meets in a loop like the goats from tp except with more tendrils involved. Like a mix between an elk antler and the horns of those ordon goats.

In totk they purposefully made lightning and farosh more yellow than in botw so I think a green-toned dragon could fit in well without looking too much like the other dragons. I could also see dragon link having a more natural color palette, like instead of the white they all have, he would have more soft brown tones and I would personally make his dragon hair a touch more ginger to make it pop more, but that's just me.

He would totally be covered in moss and foliage and flowers, really going back to the roots (lol) of Farore's power.
