Your Dear Daddy. The moment I saw Poonpun in that pink silk robe with the thigh tattoo and wearing that anklet in the promo pics I knew I wanted the series immediately. Obsessed! I'm excited for Fluke to be a lead finally because he deserves it and he and Poonpun seem to have excellent chemistry. I'm looking forward to Saitharn being saved by Sila who seems to be lost himself. I'm looking forward to watching Saitharn put it on Sila so good the first time that he decides that he's going to secretly rescue him and love him and worship him...because I know this whole tea farm debt is going to be a guise to keep Saitharn. I just know the series is going to be *chef's kiss*

Century of Love. I don't even know what the plot for this one is but the BTS pics are letting me know it's going to rip me in half. I'm expecting some scifi, soulmates, action, hurt/comfort, maybe some sacrifice, and romance. I'm most excited that we're getting more DaouOffroad and most importantly Daou's buzzcut because he looks soooooooooo good with it.

This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans. IDK man...I don't even care about cooking series like that but I'm excited for more SailubPon and even more excited to finally get some GarfieldBenz after PB viciously teased us with them. 4 Minutes. Highkey thought it wasn't even happening anymore because...well you know. But now Bible has a new partner and I'm excited once again. I just know 4 Minutes is going to break us all into pieces and I'm excited to see Bible shine like the star he is and I'm excited to see how his chemistry is with Jes. And I just know the aesthetic of the series and the actual plot is going to be 20/10...BOC sure has the funds to turn this series into a masterpiece.

Jack & Joker. YINWAR HAVE FINALLY RETURNED TO US! And they're not in school! Whoever they work for heard us say we wanted that Bonnie and Clyde criminal lovers series they dangled in our faces with that one fanmeet and decided to deliver. I'm excited to see Joker being the cheeky seemingly trustworthy mastermind thief and Jack doing whatever he can to protect him because he knows he won't be able to stop him from skillfully robbing people blind. I need more criminal romances in my life.

SunsetxVibes. Wild we're getting this before Big Dragon 2/The Movie. Even wilder that this series is ALSO based on an mpreg story. I am not particularly interested in omegaverse BUT just like Pit Babe I am making an exception because I know I'm going to enjoy the series and I miss MosBank. We thought the chemistry was insane with Big Dragon but they are closer than ever these days and I know it's going to translate beautifully one screen. while working on reqs. here’s a little brainrot bubble. I think it’s be funny if instead of us getting Isekai’d the twenty two boys at entrance ceremony find themselves Isekai’d into your “mysterious” house that you inherited from a grandparent after you touch a mirror that had a cloth covering. Imagine teaching them about technology and try to convince these people to stay sane while in each other’s faces for almost twenty four hours a day, especially since some of them just met and got sorted into dorms. I just had the thought of do these men have airplanes in their world? and it kind of evolved to this.

Like Diasomnia on edge at first with Silver and Sebek trying to guard Malleus as Lilia listens to you and your explanation deeming you no threat. Malleus is simply happy he was invited or included with everyone when they were teleported. In Savanaclaw they all still have their beastmen features so you’re pleading with this stranger to not leave and go outside and cause trouble and this lion man is like… if you insist, while being smug. Totally acts like he is pitiful if you ask for help because he is stuck indoors. Floyd is having the time of his life, he will gnaw on furniture, as Jade is a bit more grounded but follow’s Azul’s lead as he tries to convince you to turn your house into a business as you deny.

Ignihyde has Idia and his brother and you’re thinking what a cute robot before he shoots a laser at a bug and you think that is enough for today. You eventually let all the boys live in your grandpa’s old home since it were rather large.. and magic is convenient. They can easily clean up the place and some are eager to learn about your world. You went from a normal life alone to living a life with a whole lot of boys.

Some of them do chores, like Trey, Jade, Jamil, who are the main chefs, while others such as Ruggie and Rook handle the laundry. Azul, Jade and Floyd handle your budgeting and monthly finances. You are not sure how but the money they give as “rent” increases per month. Vil and Idia have picked up youtube and streaming respectively, Idia being a vtuber and Vil having a channel that does a variety of content. Both are surprisingly popular. Vil also helps you renovate the interior design and Idia + Ortho handle all the machines and wifi. Some do odd jobs on occasion around the place like Ace, Epel, Lilia, some do hard lifting and collecting firewood like Jack and Sebek. Others such as Riddle and Cater can set the table, sweep up and check in on you. Some are freeloaders such as Leona, Malleus, and Kalim.

You figured things would be dysfunctional at first since your newfound boys weren’t allowed outside of your house, in fact are physically incapable of leaving your property, but they all managed to fit right in snuggly. Honestly, you couldn’t imagine just how hard life would be without them. You start working from home as your grandpa’s business is also passed down to you, even though you are a grossly underqualified child- claiming to be told old to keep up as he leaves to traveling the world after meeting the boys once. He doesn’t freak out and just go “:P forgot to tell you.”

You find their magic interesting. You also find out your grandpa has a lot of secrets. He can’t return them (much to their disappoint but later they could not care less they won’t return) but he can at least help out with some ancient books passed down about the great seven themselves, helping the Octatrio stay in human form. You also find some of them demanding, Floyd and Kalim almost always clinging to your arms as you try to work.

Sometimes you wake up to arguments, a chair may be flying, literally. Another time you awoke to a crying grey cat with ears of fire, trying to scratch at you. Hearing your scream Riddle and Azul came to your rescue, but you quickly told them not to be mean to a kitty, keeping him and naming him Grim.. seems like your home has gotten a new member, again.

Idia seems much more willing to leave his room when you mention getting a cat. Ace looks slight annoyed that you get to keep a fire producing cat but he could not keep a bear that Rook found? You were completely unfair. Meanwhile Riddle is ready to collar the cat for existing because he found a tart of his being eaten by the cat. You barely contained his rage, everyone lived another day.

Overall a chaotic household you now have.

a fun concept to play with? I’m a fan of the “inherits some mysterious magic object” trope and wanted to toy around with it a bit. i also had thoughts like my yuu would 100% be nicer to them than they are to us and give them a place to actually stay than kicking them to the curb like a certain Ramshackle building.

The Golden Dawn Mafia AU!

William Vangeance: The King. He grew up in poverty and was mostly ignored by everyone, until eventually it was revealed to him that he is the bastard child of a major company’s CEO, and was set to inherit it. But after moving in with his father and step-mother his neglect and mistreatment only grew worse. Until eventually he ran away as a young teen and stumbled into a high class bar that was run and owned by Julius Novachrono called “The Grey Deer”, and Julius took him under his wing (along with Morgen Faust, Yami Sukehiro, and Marx Francois) and eventually showed him his true business before helping him establish his own “Mafia Family”.

Zera Cassia: The Queen. She is the youngest child and only daughter of Rika Cassia, the leader of a world renowned Mafia group. Originally she wasn’t supposed to get involved in the “underworld” like her father and brothers, but they all found that she seemed to have a knack for it and so was put in charge of smuggling things in and out of the city of Clover. Many suitors asked for her hand, not because they loved her, but because they wanted her family’s power and influence. So in order to get the suitors to stop harassing her decided to choose a random mafia leader to marry; William Vangeance.

Yuno Grinberryall: The Ace. He is the son of a wealthy CEO and his wife, and is an only child. After his father was killed when he was an infant he was raised by his mother and was set to inherit his father’s company after he became of age. But at the age of 15 he discovered that his father was assassinated by a mafia family called the Zogratis’s, and so after some searching he went to the Golden Dawn mafia family and joined them to find out who killed his father and to take revenge while also keeping his mother and the company safe from the Zogratis family.

Neva Belmonte: The Diamond. She is the adopted sister of William and is the daughter of a popular chef and baker. When she was 7 years old her parents were killed during a robbery and because she had no living relatives was sent to an orphanage. She wasn’t there long as the next day William Vangeance, a good friend of her parents, came to get her and raised her as his little sister ever since. He tried his best to keep her away from the mafia life, but instead she ran right for it, and ended up becoming one of the strongest in the family. She is referred to as “the Princess of the Golden Dawn” by the other family members.

Mimosa Vermillion: The Flower. She is the daughter of a wealthy mafia family, but instead of joining the family like they expected her to, she decided to join the Golden Dawn and become the mafia family’s in-house doctor.

Klaus Lunettes: The Lance. The son of a well to do business man, Klaus was projected to go to college and take over his fathers business once he decided to retire. But after he witnessed William Vangeance and his mafia family help a group a young women that the cops ignored and wouldn’t help, he found that he admired them. So instead of taking over his fathers business, he decided to join the Golden Dawn.

David Swallow: The Joker. He is cunning, sly, and is one heck of a gambler. After trying and getting caught cheating at cards, he was saved from being killed by William and Langris Vaude. To repay his debt, he decided to join the Golden Dawn. Now he runs the gambling houses and casino’s that are in the Golden Dawn’s territory.

Alecdora Sandler: The Jack. He is the son of a wealthy business man and is the heir to his families ‘empire’. When he was a teen he was kidnapped and held for ransom for days, and just as he was about to give up hope of being rescued he was found by William Vangeance and his mafia family the Golden Dawn. But instead of going back to his family, he decided to join William, and he works hard everday to try and repay him for saving his life.

Letoile Becquerel: The Navigator. She is the daughter of computer engineers, and has always been very good at computers and communications. She is the Golden Dawn’s chief navigator and always makes sure that the family is where they need to be and gets to where they need to go. She tends to work off-site, and uses in-ear comm’s in order to communicate with the family.

Langris Vaude: The Knight. He is the youngest son of the Vaude family and is their pride and joy. He initially joined the Golden Dawn at his parents request, since they wanted to keep tabs on William and what he was doing with their money, but after a while Langris found he began to admire the man and started to follow him willingly. He mainly takes care of the business side of things, and leaves the “shadier” side to the others as he doesn’t like it nor does he want to be associated with it.

No. Not really. I mean I did read this original Wattpad story and the main character was called Jasper and I always loved it. There’s rat cos I like rats really. Craig is from South Park. Danny is from Evil Dead Rise. Fred is from Stranger Things.

When was the last time you cried?

It was today actually! It was after work and it was so stressful to the point I cried. No one saw at least. But it was a trial shift and I’m still getting used to it if I get the job!

Do you have kids?

No! Don’t plan on it either

What sports do you play or have played?

I don’t really play any. I want to start hockey but that’s only if I have time which I don’t think I will!

Do you use sarcasm?

Sometimes. I don’t understand it so I don’t really use it!

Clothing. I’m intrigued in what people like! If they have a band shirt on, awesome!

I don’t know really! People say blue, people say green, hell even hazel. When I look I see more green though!

YEAH niki is such a straightforward character and she doesn't suffer the timewasting and arrogance of politics compared to so many other characters and so when her name gets pulled, she knows her odds of making it are just too low and she can't be bothered bullshitting that. she's not going to get up there and prance around for the cameras and pretend that everything is okay. it's not okay. she's not even a good liar in the first place. she has her parents presumably back home and a few friends in 12 so there's not much she can do, but there's a certain point where she just can't bring herself to participate. and then she finds wilbur, and the entire situation flips.

he is depending on her!! niki made peace with the idea of her own death as soon as her name was called at the reaping but this is an entire tidal wave of emotions that she already cannot compute. like the worst kind of grief and anger and survivors guilt. and if she loses, no one will rescue him. no one will even know he's there. and then that too, that's gonna be her fault. and even then, she gets these flashes of absolute rage...

she's so fucking lucky she has jack as a mentor to remind her of exactly the right way to smile so they can't see how tightly you clench your jaw. hbomb giving her these intricate hand braces so she can't visibly clench her fists when she talks so sweetly about winning the games and going home to her friends and making her district proud. and then she gets back to the tribute living spaces and tears her room apart in a whirlwind of burning anger, and then stays up late putting every stupid knick knack back together in case rumours spread because she needs to keep her reputation as the Sweet, Kind, Nicey Nice Girl from district 12 intact to win over sponsors.

and yea the forest fire is fucking traumatising. i can't remember if this is a canon hunger games thing or if my brain saw some fanon eight years ago and is running with it but i imagine once you win the games they slap all that megahealing shit into you so she wakes up in some private capitol hospital room and, beyond what she even thought was possible, the burns are gone. and she doesn't even know how that works but they must have done a pretty shit job because she can still fucking feel the fire beneath her skin.

you won and you got out! she gets wilbur out. maybe. but it's only really after the games that she realises she's never gonna be able to go home again. she should feel relieved to be alive at least, but all she feels is burning and a miserable, endless pit in her chest instead.

A SHAKEN UP SODA BOTTLE..... you're so fucking right KSHKDHDKD. wilbur is v interesting to me because like.... i think there's a bitter and hurting part of him that still blames himself above anyone else for getting caught. but he's been here for seven years. he has seen some horrible shit happen. wilbur has a tendency for self-hatred but he's not massively easily manipulated until someone is pushing him towards something he already wanted (thinking of how dream treated him in pogtopia.)

i think niki being reaped is a tipping point for him. like, he's not stupid. he's walked into the last seven years of reapings going not niki, and then not niki, not fundy, and then not niki not fundy please god not tommy and so on. and then the worst outcome happens, and niki barely manages to survive but only by swallowing her own voice and going through some terrible shit. wilbur saw that, he got to see it on live TV while pouring wine and retrieving stupidly rich food for stupidly rich people while he remembers arguing with tommy about whether they could eat a possum because at the time, that was their best option. it is one thing for him to be here. he has accepted that as his own fault (even if he probably shouldn't). but shoving niki through the meatgrinder? his kind, clever niki, who (in wilbur's eyes) has done nothing wrong in her entire fucking life? something needs to change, and he will bend steel with his bare fucking hands to make it happen.

now, to figure out how to do all that and actually stay alive.

the thing with wilbur that always stands out to me is that he's a character in motion. he doesn't stop. i think after being captured and having his tongue cut out and being tortured, he would obviously suffer greatly - but he wouldn't stop. his voice meant everything to him, and even though it's physically gone, part of him so venerates its absence that he cannot stop himself from trying to sustain it, to "bring it back", even if it sounds different now. even if it's all locked away in his mind. now, that is where he keeps everything he wants to say. he keeps his mind sharp over those years - reciting the names and birthdays of his friends in 12 so he doesn't forget them, tracing words across the wall when he's supposed to be sleeping so his handwriting stays neat enough to read. he's waiting, he just doesn't know for what.

and then niki is reaped. that's what.

Live it up by renting a poolside cabana. Not only will you enjoy private seating…the amenities include a freshly sliced-fruit tray, sunscreen, television, cooling system, phone charger, refrigerator with water and soft drinks.

I knew it was going to be a relaxing experience dining at the resort’s “Gaby’s by the Lake” restaurant when I saw the slogan on the sign that says, “No shirt, No Shoes, Our Pleasure.” The signature dish, Lobster Grilled Cheese is a must. Chock full of lobster salad with hints of tarragon, it is topped with Havarti cheese and served on brioche bread. The BBQ Pork Nachos (pulled pork, tortilla chips, Queso cheese, Cotija cheese and bourbon BBQ sauce, served with Pico de Gallo, guacamole, salsa and sour cream) is enough to share. I am told the “Philly” (ribeye, peppers, onions, provolone, garlic aioli served on a hoagie roll) could perhaps win a Philly Cheesesteak competition! While dining, you’ll enjoy the most inspiring vistas of Lake Oconee.

For more formal dining, Linger Longer Steakhouse serves dinner where you can peek into the open kitchen and watch the chefs meticulously performing their craft. The design of the restaurant makes you feel as if you were dining in a stylish lakeside home. The two-sided stone fireplace adds to the elegance of the room. Prepared on the wood-fired grill, choose from the 8-ounce barrel-cut filet mignon, 7-ounce Australian Wagyu striploin, an 18-ounce Delmonico ribeye among other cuts. Indulge with the “Butcher’s Reserve,” a 40-ounce Porterhouse with foie gras butter. Choose from a selection of sauces: red wine, Bearnaise, green peppercorn, chimichurri, or horseradish cream. Not a red meat eater, no worries. The menu includes a selection of fish dishes: striped bass, king salmon, diver sea scallops, and little neck clams. Leave it to the chef – with the “Chef’s Adventure” menu, where you’ll discover what inspired the chef that day. The menu describes it as “a one-of-a-kind tasting menu – culinary adventure featuring seasonal flavors, textures, and creativity.”

Bourbon connoisseurs, get ready for the Barrel Room, where certified bourbon stewards will match your tastes with the perfect pour. The stewards have curated a collection so you can experience rare bourbons and whiskeys. Of course, wines, from the extensive list, and other cocktails, can be sipped on as well, in the beautifully appointed room. Although libations may be the focus, there are creative small plates available to savor while sipping. You’ll be tempted to try Roasted Spicy Cauliflower (pan roasted, herb blue cheese spread, fennel, petite arugula), Barrel Room Sliders (angus beef patty, horseradish-cheddar cheese, caramelized onions) or Brisket Flatbread (smoked brisket, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, cilantro, blueberry BBQ sauce). And, for dessert, Georgia Peach (white chocolate-peach mousse, spiced-peach core, oatmeal-amaretto cookie crumble, passionfruit gel). Chocoholics can get their fix with the German Chocolate Cake (flourless chocolate cake, caramel coconut pecan filling, chocolate sauce, cherry limeade sorbet, toasted marshmallow, chocolate crumble).

Guests at The Ritz Carlton have access to Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds. It was here where I learned clay shooting for the first time (very fun)! Justin Jones, an expert in the development and management of elite resort shooting facilities, has the patience to bring comfort and confidence as you learn the sport. There is a 20- station sporting clays course, plus shooting and archery ranges. Not into this sport, there is fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and an off-roading course. Bringing the kids along…  Ritz Kids Lake Adventures will keep those who are ages five to twelve occupied for a full or half-day. Their clubhouse has an interactive play floor where they can have loads of fun. Each day, there is a themed experience planned.

On select weekend evenings, the songwriter series hosts songwriters and bands providing music of different genres.

For those who own a home at Reynolds Lake Oconee, planned activities and events will keep you busy. Those interested in the culinary arts will be pleased with the chef series, classes, and curated wine dinners. Executive Chef Zouhair Bellout is at the helm, overseeing the vast food and beverage establishments of the community. I had the opportunity to take one of his classes. Ricotta gnocchi (gnudi) was on the menu.

3 cups ricotta, moisture removed

4 eggs

2 cups grated parmesan

2 cups flour

Salt and pepper to taste

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Put the ricotta and eggs in a large bowl and mix well, add the parmesan, flour salt and pepper and mix to incorporate all of the ingredients. If mixture is too moist and sticky, add a bit more flour. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into ropes, about ¾ inch in diameter. Cut the log into ¾ inch pieces and use a gnocchi roller for making the ridged surface that allows the sauce you use to adhere to the gnudi. You could also choose to roll into small balls. Gently place the gnudi in the boiling water a few at a time. When they float to the top carefully remove from the boiling water. Enjoy with your favorite sauce.

The Overlook Hotel had a sinister history, a past filled with violence and death. Despite its grandeur and magnificence, the Overlook was notorious for the tragedies that had occurred within its walls. The caretakers before Jack had gone insane, and one of them had murdered his family before killing himself. The Overlook was a place of deep malevolence, a breeding ground for evil spirits that lingered long after the living had departed.

Jack Torrance had been struggling to provide for his family, and he saw the job as a caretaker at the Overlook as a way to turn his life around. He moved his family into the hotel, eager to start a new chapter in their lives. But from the moment they arrived, strange things began to happen.

Danny had always been a sensitive child, and his psychic abilities were apparent even before they arrived at the hotel. As they drove up the winding mountain roads, Danny saw visions of blood and death, of the ghosts that haunted the Overlook. He knew that the hotel was a dangerous place, and he warned his parents of the looming danger.

Wendy was a kind and gentle woman, a devoted mother who tried to shield her son from the darkness that surrounded them. But even she could feel the evil that permeated the hotel, the sense of dread that filled her heart. She watched as her husband's sanity unraveled, as he became increasingly erratic and unstable. Jack's addiction to alcohol had been his downfall, and the isolation of the hotel only exacerbated his condition.

The Overlook had a hold on Jack, a dark force that whispered to him in his moments of weakness. He became obsessed with the hotel's past, with the ghosts that roamed its halls. He spent hours poring over old newspapers and records, trying to uncover the secrets that lay hidden within the Overlook's history. But the more he learned, the more he descended into madness.

Danny, meanwhile, had befriended the hotel's head chef, Dick Hallorann. Dick had psychic abilities like Danny's, and he could sense the danger that lurked within the hotel. He warned Danny to stay away from room 237, a room that held a particularly malevolent spirit. But Danny's curiosity got the best of him, and one day he snuck into the room. There he saw a horrific vision, one that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

As winter set in and the hotel was cut off from the outside world, the darkness within the Overlook grew stronger. Jack was completely consumed by the hotel's malevolence, and he became a danger to his family. Wendy and Danny realized that they had to escape, but the hotel wouldn't let them go so easily. They were pursued by the spirits of the hotel, haunted by the ghosts that Jack had unleashed.

One night, Danny had a vision of a woman named Mrs. Massey, who had been murdered by her husband in the hotel years before. The woman's spirit was trapped in the hotel, and she urged Danny to help her move on to the afterlife. With Dick's help, Danny was able to communicate with the spirits of the Overlook and help some of them find peace.

But Jack was still a threat, and the hotel's malevolent presence was growing stronger. One night, he chased Danny through the empty hallways of the hotel, wielding an axe and determined to kill him. In the end, it was Wendy who saved her son, striking Jack with a baseball bat and killing him.

In the aftermath, Wendy and Danny were rescued by Dick and taken to safety. The Overlook burned to the ground, destroyed by the spirits that had taken up residence within its walls. But the scars of their experience remained, and Wendy and Danny were forever
