SECOND ADVENT SUNDAY I’ve got update if you saw my stories from today, we had to change our plans & went to the A&E in St Mary’s with Rosie, waited there over 5 hours & we went home with no help, no medication & very sad & frustrated. Learning & relearning healthy eating
I’m finally taking back my health. 
I am so excited to finally be learning how to make healthy foods that make me feel good and that make me feel a true sense of wellness in my life again, or maybe for the first time ever. This is something new for me, that I have always struggled with, largely because of my struggles with mental health-yet my mental health continued to deteriorate in the past and struggled largely because of the fact that my body wasn’t getting the nutrition it truly needed to thrive.
The main things I was doing wrong were being addicted to caffeine-this zapped my brain and made it difficult for me to eliminate stress and make good decisions for myself. I also felt like I was constantly dehydrated and crashing. I would feel so exhausted, lose my appetite, starve, and then reach for things high in calories and unhealthy fats to supplement me when my appetite came back which made me exhausted-like chips, oily fried tofu, white rice, bread, and other processed vegan foods which were loaded with chemicals. I’m so glad to have my mental health back and to be able to step forward into newfound freedom.
Some I eat now:
Green smoothies with oatmeal for breakfast
Big salads for lunch with a small portion of whole grain and protein on the side (tofu, black beans or fish) with avocado
Sauteed veggies for dinner, with cooked fish and a healthy fat (ex omega 3 oil), raw greens, and a small portion of whole grain with some tea. Some fruit for dessert.
I know we hear this a lot but we truly are what we eat. For years I made myself physically and mentally sick all because I was eating all the wrong foods and thinking they would make me feel healthy. Healthy eating can be expensive, but I’m learning it can be so affordable if I buy dry staples I need like garlic, onion, and nutritional yeast, and I budget in advance. Eating processed vegan food actually costed me quite a lot of money and yet I never truly felt well after eating it. I felt exhausted and depleted.
I don’t want to be addicted to the chemicals in processed vegan foods anymore or in a pattern of addiction to caffeine which is actually a drug. I want to just eat simply and in a way that helps and allows me to simply be, me. <3

👉 So I did a thing today! About a week ago.. I decided to invest a little into myself. Into my health and well-being. Truth be told.. our health and well-being is priceless. 👏 However we rarely invest into our health because life just seems to take us into so many directions that we just keep putting it off and coming up with excuses..well at least that was the case for me. Well I’m done with the excuses and procrastination. I’m tired of feeling tired… 😴 for me it’s more than just wanting to be and look more fit.. it’s mental health and energy levels. I’m not ashamed to say that I’m a woman in her mid 40s.. 💅🏻 but what comes along with the maturing of a woman? Decreased energy levels, declining metabolism, estrogen levels dip… so instead of becoming a victim of all these wonderful symptoms.. I decided to do something about it! 🙅🏻‍♀️ I did A LOT of research first because that’s just in my nature.. and I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this amazing company and to start my journey! 👉 Today is Day 1! 👈 I’ve got AMAZING support and guidance.. thanks to my partner Matt!
