Dear Taylor,

I know you may never see this but my good friend Drew Pescaro (and childhood best friend of my significant other) was one of those shot by the monster at UNCC. He was taken to the ICU immediately and had emergency surgery to remove the bullets that entered his back. Hes currently recovering there and has a long road ahead of him. I'm back:)

It's been a month since the shooting at my campus. I definitely needed time to process it and work through it. I'm now in a place where I feel like I can start normalizing my life again-- I'll start posting again soon! I'm going back to campus to take summer classes and work, so I'm going to be busy, but I think that it will be good for me to get back to my blog.
