A/N : i've not written anything since around july ish, so please don't judge it!

The usual gentle pitter patter of the raindrops against the windshield of the car felt different. The soothing lullaby of each droplet falling against the glass was not so soothing anymore. Each raindrop sounded like a threat, the quiet drumming now as loud as gunshots. It was a blanket of comfort wrapping around the redhead and brunette, calming their thoughts. 

Slow conversation flowed between the two of them, engulfing them in a useless topic. Charlotte paused mid-sentence, staring intensely out the window; calling out to Amelia to stop the car, hurriedly she got out of the car. “Char?” “Sweetheart what's up?” Mia called after her, looking ahead she gasped, finding the reason why Charlotte called for the car to be stopped. 

The rain slowly hit the redhead and brunette's hair, lightly splattering across the couple's clothing. Sending a shiver down the redhead's back. 

“Siobhan? Why are you outside? It's pouring it down.” Charlotte questioned. It took one desperate look for Charlotte to grasp ahold of what her eyes said. Crouching down in front of Siobhan’s ice cold body, Char lifted her hands slowly, proving she had no intentions to harm the blonde. A sigh of relief left the blonde's mouth.

Charlotte spoke softly at Siobhan while helping her up off the floor and towards the car; while walking past the brunette muttered something to the redhead. Amelia nodded, while storming down the path, making a beeline for the door. Locating the key she knew layed in a place she last left it, reaching for it, her hand was met with a cold feeling. The rain and temperature of the key mixing in her hand. Her now cold hand shoved the door open.

“Roger. Where are you?” Mia called out venomously. “Roger knight. Where the hell are you in this house?” the redhead raised her voice. Noticing some shuffling she whipped her head around, catching a glimpse of the man she was looking for. Before processing what she was doing, her body had carried her, following the man into the kitchen and picking up an object. His head was met with the object, his body was collapsing to the floor as Amelia walked out of the house peacefully, no care for the man she’d left on the kitchen floor. 

While Amelia was locking the door back up, Charlotte was stood beside the car with siobhan inside, in the backseat. Mia turned around and smiled at her sweetheart, walking over towards the car the rain kept hitting the redheads face. Finally approaching Charlotte, Mia opened her arms and wrapped her in a hug, mumbling a few words into the brunette’s shoulder. The rain slowly dampening the ends of their hair, causing the two of them to shiver. Mia walks around to the other side of the car, opening the door and getting in, ready to start the car. Charlotte got in, quickly shutting the door; she mumbled a few words to Siobhan, checking on the blonde in the back. 

Looking over at Mia she nodded, signifiying to re-route the plans, and make their way back to her house.

8:56pm marks the time they all filed into Char’s house, in a comfortable silence. Charlotte slowly guides Siobhan to the bathroom, urging her to have a warm shower, Mia watched them disappear out of view, quickly grabbing her phone from her backpocket, crafting a message to someone, hoping they'd see it. Charlotte emerged from the bathroom leaving the bathrooom door slightly ajar, muttering some words to Siobhan. Rushing off in the direction of her bedroom, Mia nodded understanding Charlotte’s intentions. 

Lightly informing Siobhan, she was re-entering the bathroom and placing a pile of clothing near the sink. Charlotte emerged again, making her way over to the redhead, leaning in to capture her lips in a kiss, smiling into the kiss she muttered a few sweet words before pulling back to look at Mia. Charlotte smiled at her and lightly said “i love you, amelia roberts.” she then moved into arms reach of the redhead, engulfing her in a hug. 

9:34pm. Siobhan was sat on the sofa, with the couples shared cat sat on her lap. Her name was midnight, the black fur slightly shedding in her pale hand, smiling as the light purs from the small kitten calmed the blonde. A knock came from the door, Mia smirked. Charlotte looks at her and lightly muttered “Who is at the door Amelia Mae?” Mia shook her head, walking away to go answer the door. Charlotte shrugs and waits for the mystery person to enter. 

A glimpse of dark brunette hair was spotted in Charlotte’s peripheral vision, she smirked awaiting the blonde to realise who had entered the house. Taking in a deep breath, Vivian spoke “Siobhan? Are you okay? What's happened?” the blonde’s head swiftly turned in shock, slowly moving midnight off her lap, she stood and made her way to the brunette. Lifting her hands to cup Vivian's cheeks she smiled at her, slowly leaning in, capturing the brunette in a soft, sensual kiss. Slowly pulling away, the blonde rest her head in the brunette’s neck. A few minutes passed until the blonde stepped out of the grip of Vivian and asked if she could come home with her, to which the brunette hurriedly agreed. 

Soon enough the redhead and brunette were waving a goodbye to the two of them, shutting the door and locking it, they made their way over to the sofa where Midnight was fast asleep. Settingly in the sofa together Charlotte curled into the redheads side, letting her head fall onto Mia's shoulder. Slowly closing her eyes with a sigh, letting sleep engulf her.
