What about Charles going into an unscheduled heat during one of the Charlos business trips? Maybe they thought they had more than enough time to get home before the heat hit, but flights were cancelled due to some crazy weather event. They’re in a foreign country, and it’s obvious it’d be too unsafe to even try to fly Charles back home, so they’re stuck in a hotel alone.

Carlos is putting on a brave face for Charles, but he’s actually a total mess. Usually it takes the whole pack to keep Charles satisfied during his heats, and Carlos is struggling with it both mentally and physically.

Charles is slightly delirious and keeps asking for the others, and it kills Carlos to keep telling him that it’s the two of them.

They have basically a 24/7 video call to the pack going on so Charles can at least hear and see the others a bit, and they’re able to give Carlos advice. Max and Lando gently guiding him through the things the other omegas would usually help Charles with (birth control, cleaning him up, tending to his sore spots etc.) and Daniel, Michael, and Pierre are there to cheer them on, Pierre even giving some beta magic tips. On the other end of the call Daniel would be putting on a brave face for Carlos, while he’d be going crazy over the idea of them being so vulnerable and him not being able to protect them.

When they finally make it home they’re both exhausted, and the pack doesn’t let them get out of bed for several days.

Their flight was cancelled, Charles thought he could make it, but he starts glowing with a fever on the taxi to the airport. They genuinely consider getting him to a hospital to give him heat stoppers, but Max asks them not to do it because they can have similar side effects like a heat crisis, and Max doesn’t want that for Charles.

So they end up in a shitty airport hotel.

Carlos calling home in a panic, he doesn’t know what to do, but Max and Lando talk him through all the stuff they normally do for Charles. Carlos somehow pushes through, takes care of Charles, uses some of the clear moments they have to talk to the pack… they both go into a proper heat state, barely even eat or sleep… it’s not healthy but they get through it. Charles cries a lot because he misses the pack and his mates, but Carlos tries to comfort him as good as possible. All the while, Daniel genuinely considers flying there to get to them, it pains him to see them like that.

They make it through, nevertheless. The last day of Charles heat, they only fuck twice; the rest is spent eating massive amounts of take-out and sleeping. When Charles comes out of his state and realizes what Carlos did for him, he’s so grateful.

The pack pick them up from the airport, just glad to see them okay.

It’s one of the moments that convince Daniel that Carlos will be a good pack alpha one day.

Yes, he got one. He apparently asked Charles if he wants the one he got at home to be there at Carlos’ place. Carlos bought the higher version (this is easiest way to say it).

For the press, it would be easier for Charles to have it that way—because of his image and he just doesn’t want to come out to alot of people, so Carlos respects him for that (even the whole Spain knows Carlos is dating Charles). Their proximity is also questionable to the press at some point because after his last girlfriend, he never bring any girl to the paddock (you know what I mean). But because Charles never said about his sexuality, it remains a question to the press. And Charles made it so obvious that he never, never bring a woman to the paddock. 🤭

Charles will be at Carlos place a lot, only getting back to his place when he has something going on. Carlos will agree to have a winter trip in his Christmas/New Year days off from the office. Starting a year, it’s no doubt that Carlos will be busy at the office because of new projects and new clients—this happens along with the pre-season preparation of Charles so Charles will be okay to be on his own when going to the motorhome and stuff. They do have a place in Italy but they only visit it at summer break

opening sequence is short shots of *insert misc european city*. it's that weird just past dawn light, so the city is just waking up, we get silhouettes of the tall buildings, maybe some people going to work early.

eventually we see shots inside a big train station where there's a train pulling in. the first shot we see of carlos is him stepping off the train, looking rumpled and disheveled, big backpack on his shoulder. he's probably fiddling with his phone, restlessly turning it on and off again. he gets off the train, cut to several shots of him hopelessly trying to hail a taxi, him staring out the window as the city goes past, checking into a hostel with polite tight lipped smiles to the receptionist. the hostel receptionist asks much planned while you're in the city? and he kind of shrugs and doesn't answer. goes up to his room, flops down on the bed. goes onto his phone, his face lit up by the screen and tired.

charles is a busker, he plays *insert instrument here*. he loves it! he likes seeing people come in and out of the city, he likes talking to the little kids who dance, he likes flirting with the strangers who compliment him. his haunt is the train station & recently there's been this beautiful man with MASSIVE COW EYES coming in and staring at the long distance departures screen like his life depends on it but he never even buys a ticket?

so eventually after a while charles is like hello? are you okay? and carlos ofc has been miserably looking at the departures screen because everyday he's been thinking maybe i AM an idiot for going on an oe now, maybe i should buy a ticket back to spain and try make amends with my father, where would i even go next?

and charles is like well if you don't know whether you should go home or go somewhere else, why don't you just stay here for a little while? do you not like this city?

and carlos has to awkwardly kind of be like i...... haven't really seen much of the city yet. too busy brooding and being sad.

and charles is like i refuse to let this beautiful man turn his independence trip into a sadness trip. also fuck you my city is AMAZING and im going to PROVE it to you. cue charles dragging carlos to his friend's jazz gigs, an underground bar. they visit an art gallery together. they have a picnic on the riverside. and at first carlos is like ah, charles, i do not know if i would like that, except charles is like c'mon you WILL, you WILL!

and wherever they go he gets carlos to take a billion photos of him and carlos is a bit eh about it at first, like who is this guy who's dragging him around? he looks about 12 years old, and he nags carlos until he agrees to go somewhere because you are young and in *city*! it's illegal to be sad here!

and eventually along the way carlos finds him annoying in an endearing way instead of an actual aggravating way, and ofc he's so busy being annoyed (affectionate) the whole time he's around charles that he forgets about being sad about his dad.

anyway the climax of this is they probably go to a gay bar and as they're walking home at like 5am, when the sunrise is just starting (call back to the opening shots :))) charles is like did you like that? and carlos has been quiet the whole night because he did like it, and he's trying to figure out why it makes him feel happy and complicated all at once. and then the sun comes past the horizon and charles turns to look at him walking backwards on the cobblestone streets still waiting for an answer, silhouetted by the dawn, and carlos is like oh. OH. fuck. and charles is looking at him carefully, and carlos says charles, but can't say anything more, because it's hard being brave.

but charles just softens in understanding and says, i know, and without speaking they go back to charles' flat and they don't fuck but they do fall into bed together.

cue the next morning carlos wakes up to a text message from his dad and just completely freezes up. bolts back to his hostel. charles wakes up alone and texts carlos like ??? and is lowkey heartbroken when there's no reply.

carlos is having a panic attack in his hostel. eventually one of his sisters calls him and she's mad that he has been ignoring their texts, and he feels shameful and guilty all at once all over again, but then she's like fuck dad. i love you, go live your life, just don't fucking go ghost again. are you happy?

and he takes too long to answer, but he does say yes, and she's like, knowingly, you met someone, didn't you.

it's not a lie, even if carlos isn't sure if charles fits what she's implying, so he says yes. she hangs up and he feels a million times better. and then he looks down at his phone and he sees 5 texts from charles that get progressively more and more upset and he's like oh shit. i fucked up.

and because carlos the classic romance hero, he DOES run through the train station to where charles is busking and charles is like ?? and carlos has to be like im so sorry im an idiot, im sorry i left you, and charles is smiling kind of shakily trying to say i was very upset as a joke but his voice cracks in the middle and carlos just feels even WORSE and he goes on a mini monologue about how when he came into the city he was lost and trying to find himself and instead i found you. or you found me.

and charles kisses him as the sunlight is coming in through the huge ornate windows of the train station :)) they live happily ever after THE END.

( dakota johnson / 30 / she/her ) – (daisy wilson) has been spotted in ravenswood. they said to originally be from (toronto, canada) and used to work as (architect / structural engineer). They’ve been in the compound for (one week), working as (structural engineer) to earn their keep and since then, others have seen their (distrusting) but seemingly (resourceful) nature.

TW: DEATH, ILLNESS.

daisy was born and raised on a farm in Montana, a classic start of a tale of a small town girl who was destined for something great, only most of her life she didn’t know what. 

worked on her family farm but really enjoyed drawing and making things. 

pretty smart all through school, managed to get an academic college scholarship and (finally) left Montana making the move to Canada. 

she undertook her studies in architecture and structural engineering before graduating and then taking on a few jobs here and there to get herself started in her field. 

there was a pull for her to go home, but daisy was settled, and the difference between toronto and montana were chalk and cheese, so she stayed, travelling back home for the holidays when she could. 

she got a job working for a company in vancouver who had a jobsite in toronto, meaning she got to travel back and forward when she needed. it was a small company, family based and the owners were lovely. she got close with her boss and his family, however she always thought his somewhat famous skateboarding son was a bit much. 

daisy stayed with the company as long as she could, the day coming round where her boss became ill and the son she didn’t exactly get along with took over the business. luckily for her, he kept her on and she kept her job. 

daisy and salem slowly build a bit of a bond, even though he hated every proposal she had and made her work twice as hard, they slowly ended up together. 

when word of the virus hit, and things started to escalate, daisy and salem decided to part, daisy flying back to Montana to be with her family. she was pretty safe with her family on their remote farm outside of Charlo, Montana. Her father knew what to do to keep them safe, but when the time came to get moving, they did so on horseback. 

daisy and her parents had been moving west to washington, her father having seen signs and heard chatter over radio stations that they had a safe haven there, but the trek over the mountain ranges was difficult and the weather wild. 

While they had set up home in huts they’d put together, they couldn’t stay in one place for too long. daisy realised her father wasn’t coming back from his hunting trip after her and her mother waited three days over his return. Daisy couldn’t allow her mother to just sit there and focus on the worst. she had to get her up and get moving again. 

When October hit, Daisy knew they were close to ravenswood, old road signs still pointing the way. but the horses were tired, her mother also, and Daisy knew she had to keep pushing them. 

by the time she reached the gates, she wasn’t sure if her mother would make it. they were both on the verge of hypothermia— thank god they were granted sanctuary. 

now, she’s free of quarantine, deemed healthy enough to go and make a new life, her mother still under medical observation. Daisy knows that she’ll be of some use here, and she’s just trying to keep her and her mother alive.

I think Carlos is the kind of person who doesn’t get sick easily but he suffers during terrible flights with turbulence or too many hours waiting because there are delays.

Nothing too heavy, maybe migraines, nausea or dizziness and surely traveling with Charles helps him already a lot but he will need a few days to recover well

Oh yeah I could see that for him! He just gets travel sick from the change in elevation and air pressure and stuff.

Having a part of his pack with him (Charles) helps him, but I could also see Carlos be too proud to admit to himself that he should take meds for this 😅 until Charles watches him get worse on flights a few times and just goes "no." and buys some meds at the airport pharmacy.

Later, when the kids are born, Luna asks Carlos why he doesn't like flying, and he tells her because it makes him sick... she thinks about it for a moment and then gives him a small stuffed animal of hers, a little bunny, because "Pippin always makes me feel better when I'm sick, papá!" so after that he always has pippin with him whenever he flies <3

Oh business trip Charlos would definitely do the thing where they pretend to be stangers meeting at a hotel bar. Carlos feels a bit awkward about it, but Charles plays it so well that he ends up playing along surprisingly well. But I also think that out of all the nasty stuff they do on their trips, this might also be one that actually really upsets Lando. He hates the idea of them pretending like he doesn't exist, even though they didn't mean it like that.

One aspect of the charlos business trips that I love is that they used to dread business trips and they literally were the worst days of the year. Now they enjoy them so much more because they have someone to commiserate with who they know has their back 100% (other than fake coworkers who rat you out to the boss). They also get someone to sleep beside and hold every night and it makes them less homesick and feel more secure. Also the boring hotel room becomes a fun little sexy area where Carlos and Charles can get out their frustrations of the day.

Charles used to hate business trips, going away from his family, having to deal with annoying clients or stupid co-workers… but now that he can just take Carlos anywhere, it feels so different!!! I also have the theory that Carlos wouldn’t need to be on every trip, but Charles always finds a justification as to why he MUST be there. On the rare occasion when Carlos isn’t coming, Charles texts him and is all sad about it. It’s their little thing, just something they do together.
