Charlastor isnt morally fucked up (other than Alastor obviously hoping to gain something) (which btw is interesting to explore in general). Let people do as they wish.

And before anyone dares to come here and mention episode 5, Alastor tricked you so fucking good if you genuinely believe he sees her as his daughter. He sees potential in her power, nothing else. And fanon can change anything, so even if he did mean it, people are 100% allowed to delete that episode from their brain or view it as they wish.

And people going "But Charlie is in a loving relationship with Vaggie!" Yeah okay, LUCIFER STILL HAS HIS DAMN WEDDING RING! But yall don't want to discuss that, do ya.

So tired of the hate between the fans. Scroll past, censor tags, anything. Just don't hate on people who ship stuff. I wanna be able to hang out with one of my best friends without worrying about our differing opinions regarding a silly fucking cartoon! 💕 At the end of the day, theyre two old, silly, powerful morningstars and hes a vintage asshole. Tldr: I ship radioapple and dont mind charlastor's existence. A close friend of mine, literally a bestie if you will, has shipped Charlastor since the pilot and the fandom's lack of media literacy had us tiptoe around each other for a while.

Anyways, it's just a show about the BIBLE.

So, this is a fanfic in the works. Don't worry! I'm still working on the Soulmate Curse! I was just having fun with new Charlastor ideas and whelp, here it is. I couldn't resist. I was like FOCUS on the SOULMATE CURSE! SOULMATE CURSE! SOULMATE CURSE!

So, an upcoming Charlastor fic...

I'm still figuring out the outline and stuff.

Timeframe: 1920s

Setting: New Orleans

Human AU

Ship: Arranged Marriage Charlastor (for extra spice)

Genre: Thriller/Romance

Synopsis:

Charlie Morningstar is a starry-eyed dreamer with her devoted husband, Alastor Hartfelt at her side hoping to revitalize her father’s old Happy Hotel—a hotel her father left to ruins after ascending to the position of Mayor of New Orleans. Charlie’s plans for her new hotel are cut short when a string of horrendous murders plague her town and threaten her newly renovated Hotel. The determined hotelier takes it upon herself to investigate these murders, however, little does she know that her darling husband is behind it all.

In other words: Charlie is an adorable little sleuth and Alastor is constantly trying to dodge her suspicion. The newly wed couple is in a tango of deception. Of course, there will be other plot points with her parents and the hotel guests though!

Also, I believe everyone from the Hotel may be in it. Maybe not Vaggie. I'm still deciding. I'm very excited to explore 1920s New Orleans. I may be discussing some of the stereotypes of that time. Also there will be HuskerDust in this fic (I'm sorry I'm a sucker for it. I love it. Also, their human au art looks so CUTE together!)

Alastor's Appearance: How @/ratsayssqueak draws Alastor. Sunkissed skin, dark wavy hair and dark mysterious eyes. Also, can't forget his dapper look! In this he will be mixed race: half white and half Creole.

Charlie's Appearance: Of course, she's going to be a cute southern belle with blonde hair. Well, in this she moved from New England to New Orleans about a decade ago, so she'll have that accent. However! I am still deciding whether she should have brown or blue eyes. Blue eyes are really pretty and the contrast to Alastor's brown eyes is really appealing. But...brown eyes are also very charming too. I'm torn.

I'm probably gonna mess up 1920s New Orleans. I don't know if I should address the racist stigmas of that time. I probably will but I don't want to mess it up. It's gonna be an interesting fic. I'm already doing a lot of research on that area and that time period.

Also I am not saying this is a healthy relationship. I just love to explore twisted and complex relationships in the fictional world. And this just fascinates me!

So good idea or bad idea? Any comments or interesting ideas I may incorporate? I welcome feedback or constructive criticism. Suggestions are much appreciated!

This thought occurred to me regarding this post:

that how come people who ship Radioapple say that Alastor and Charlie are father and daughter (which Viv herself said is not the case, and in the show we see that Alastor lied to upset Lucifer) and other things, interpreting literally what they see on the screen, instead of first filtering it through the character of the characters, and when we have a scene like this:

where Lucifer says directly that he likes girls, that he is straight and also says in the fight with Adam that he stole his two wives (Lilith and Eve), suddenly people who ship Radioapple are completely blind to it..., Radioapple will never exist, because apart from Alastor's aversion to men and a multitude of other things, Lucifer himself states directly in the series that he is straight and likes women, Radioapple is dead from the very beginning, it never had the right to happen and will never have the right to happen.

And why do people who say that Charlie has a girlfriend and that those who ship Charlastor erase Vaggie (which doesn't happen, because Vaggie is always somewhere in Charlastor's plot, in fact... he often has an even better character than in canon), when they themselves are so eager to erase Lilith as if she never existed, when Lucifer is still married to her and still loves her, still wears a wedding ring on her finger...

Why are people who say that Alastor is an ace (often without understanding what that means anyway) and that his sexual personality is being erased, so willing to erase Lucifer's sexual personality by forcefully making him gay when he is 100% confirmed in straight series...

Why is there such a cognitive dichotomy in the minds of people who ship Radioapple? (of course, I don't mean people who do it as a headcanon and play with this relationship, but people who seriously think that something will come of it)

Admire the double standard !

Under the Charlastor / Radiobelle posts, you will often find someone who will tell you that "Charlie is in a relationship. How dare you ship her with someone else ?" But when I look at Radioapple (Alastor & Lucifer) I never see comments like "Lucifer is still in love with Lilith because he still wears his wedding ring after all these years. How dare you ship him with someone 'other ?"

People leave the Charlastor / Radiobelle shippers alone.

Plus it's such a bullshit excuse for Charlie to be in a relationship to keep him from shipping her off with someone else. Already because Charlastor / Radiobelle comes under the fanon, but you also know that certain fictional characters start in a relationship with someone but break up and end up with someone else, sometimes or not shipper with the character concerned by the fans ? Like, a character being in a relationship doesn't at all prevent shipping, and a change in relationship in the future depending on what the author wants. This argument "the character is already in a relationship so can't be a shipper with someone else" is really ridiculous.

Same for constantly mentioning that Alastor is aorace to prevent him from being in a relationship with Charlie. Once again I don't see this escuse under the Radioapple posts.

But in addition know that it is a complex spectrum and that aorace people can actually be in couple /romantic relationships.

Besides, I never see hate comments for the ship between Charlie & Emily, which I also love. I wonder why...

Let's be realistic, I think that the hatred of the Charlastor / Radiobelle ship specifically in the fandom is due to the fact that it is a ship between a man and a woman. Which is completely ridiculous. Especially since once again Charlie is bisexual and the fact that Alastor is aorace doesn't technically prevent him from getting into a relationship either. Their canonical sexualities are not restricted by this imaginary relationship.

Once someone even "reminded" me that Alastor was "repulsed" by touch, to justify the fact of not being able to imagine him in a relationship with anyone, especially Charlie. Except that it is forgetting that Alastor if he wishes is capable of invading the personal space of others and or of being tactile. We see it with Mimzy, Nifty and especially Rosie, who can actually allow herself to manipulate Alastor's body like a borderline doll, which is rather funny. Indicating that Alastor with people he likes allows a certain contact. And beyond that, one of the rare people with whom he is tactile is precisely Charlie.

Charlastor is fanon I know. But in reality, nothing prevents us from imagining scenarios where they end up as a couple.

Let people enjoy their fanon scenarios quietly (Charlastor / Radiobelle, Radioapple, Royalhalo, etc). Why feel threatened to this extent by Charlastor / Radiobelle ? It's not like us fans expected this ship to become canon, so relax. Let people like what they like instead of invading some shippers with your comments which doesn't tell us anything we don't already know and will never change the tastes of shippers.

First Ship: Gosh... I don't remember... but probably Shadow x Amy (Sonic), then I think Hikari/Dawn x Jun/Barry (Pokemon)? I was really into games back then and a little anime here and there. Monster In-Laws

This is a fic idea I’m giving away for anyone to use. And I beg you from the depths of my soul, if you do not like the ship remember it’s all fiction and don’t attack me. Unlike Hazbin Hotel characters, I’m a real person with real feelings.

Alastor and Charlie have become engaged and so have Angel and Vaggie. Finally some good things are beginning to happen in Hell and everyone is excited about the wedding. Everyone except Charlie's father who doesn't want his daughter to marry an inferior sinner demon and Vaggie's man-hating mother. These two future psycho in-laws get together to sabotage the wedding and eliminate their daughters's fiances. Both are very crafty but so are Alastor and Angel, and when they catch on to their little scheme they are ready with a counter attack. So now it's an all out battle between future in-laws as both sides fight to determine the fate of the upcoming nuptials while making sure that the brides don't find out.

Hehehe thank you!!! and yes...they are. I had a lot of fun designing them here, I imagine Charlie has some beautiful embroidery done on her dress. I took inspo from 1960s bell skirt dresses and Alastor is a 1930s suit inspiration.
