MCM INDUSTRIAL END TABLES

A pair of MCM industrial cabinets , end tables . Originally medical cabinets salvaged from the old New Orleans Charity hospital after it was closed due to KATRINA.   These will make the best night /end tables.  We stripped them to the bare metal and add a nice and thick marble top to them.

Supporting Games for the Weans

Hi folks,

I know we haven't done a big charity stream in a while, and part of that is because work has been full on and I've had a few bits and pieces going on in the background.

Starting now, and in all my streams in the run up to Christmas, I'll be trying to raise a modest sum for Glasgow Children's Hospital which we raised money for in September 2023.

Glasgow's Children's Hospital Charity have created a 'Gamer-in-Residence' role and recruited volunteers to go into the hospital for a couple of hours a week and play games with children who are sometimes in there for long periods of time.

The charity have also worked with partners on the creation of hospital-adapted console units, which can be safely wheeled between wards and means that immunocompromised kids also have a chance to play.

This helps keep the children calm, especially when they are going through tests and procedures, and it's fantastic initiative.

hello all! after 10 years of remission my dad was diagnosed with hodgekin's lymphoma for the second time in his life this august. since his diagnosis my family has been hit by every fucking roadblock and bad luck thing imaginable.

our insurance has decided to make everything we do incredibly difficult and my mom has been fighting for his proper care non-stop. our disability was denied because his work had accidentally been paying him full pay while on leave and now the state wants us to pay back 10k even though it was his company's mistake - or else no disability (we're going to petition this)

he's been suffering from symptoms from his chemotherapy such as intense body pain and deep neuropathy and a hernia (which needs to be removed by surgery but cannot while he's on chemo) alongside a slew of other problems. no amount of pain medication has been really helping and it's been really really awful.

we've been trying really hard to keep things all together but my mom is the only one working who makes enough to pay bills and it's just. really tough.

all this to say. i'd really really appreciate it if the link to this meal train was shared. and if possible someone were to donate.

(and for anyone who might not be aware that this was more than just a hermitcraft event) the whole gfg event raised over a million dollars that's INSANE!! so many kids will be a little less scared in their hospitals cos of this

EXTRA LIFE 2023

Hello all! I'm doing EXTRA LIFE again this year which means 24 hours of gaming! This is my seventh year playing games for charity and in that time we've raised over $30,000 for Children's Miracle Network of hospitals.

While it's normally done in November we've decided to move it up given some real life changes on the horizon!

THIS Friday night, starting at Midnight EST, we kick off 24 hours of gaming! My wife and I, as well as a myriad of friends, will be streaming a plethora of games all day Saturday September 23rd from 12am to 12am! Within that time, expect a bunch of games such as Starfield, Observation Duty, We Were Here, Whispers of the West and SO many more!
