I feel like the person who decided we needed to switch from USB-micro to USB-C should be killed. Causing so much unnecessary cable waste and frustration is deserving of death. These are just my thoughts and feelings, which happen to be correct.

JSAUX Nylon Braided Cords (Micro USB/Lighting) - Part 2 (second half recorded)(final) (April. 6th, 2024)
No need for another “On This Day” throwback post.
Hey guys. Sorry for keeping it waited on this before this month ended. So anyways, welcome back to this continuous topic review of my new braided cables. Last time where I’d covered my long awaited charging test to my Samsung Tab E device, It’s time where I also covered my recent iPad tablet device here. Thankfully at the same day after did with my Samsung device’s charging test, I’d moved quickly to another one with my next device I’d mentioned. Without further ado, onto this final part share.
⬆️ (29th Image; back in 2:41 P.M.)
Switching things right along, I’d now recorded with my recent iPad device to charge up. Since now that with my Samsung Tab E full on battery; all thanks to my new blue braided cables from the first half review, I’m able to use it to take photos with its camera app. It worked fine from years later and the image quality was good. 👍 There’s more photos from during this second half review I’d gotten. Anyways, this here’s after letting my iPad device’s battery life drained about hours later.
⬆️ (30th to 31st Images; from 2:45 to 2:47 P.M.)
It’s a right time to bring my red colored braided cable in good use. I’d took it out to give a good look before plugging with my Apple charger adapter. It was exactly designed from my blue braided cables, but ya know; differently designed lighting type of cable.
⬆️ (32nd and 39th Images; from 2:48 to 2:57 P.M.)
Now I’m plugging to my red colored braided cable into this Apple charger adapter. Good thing now that for the adapter stills functional, but also alongside with its original lighting cable I’d previously used for my recent iPad device in few years or less. I’ll do in comparison post with my normal cables for another time. Now back to this topic review, its charging progress had finally started when checking onto my iPad device. Looks promising that I’m good for having those new charging cables; from my mom’s help we’d ordered from in Amazon.com. 🙂👍
⬆️ (40th to 41st Images; from 2:58 to 7:20 P.M.)
Hours later when checking on my iPad device’s battery, it’s now fully charged at 7:20 P.M. that sure felt this long. That’s my opinion before going to bed during nighttime. 🥱 Nevertheless, at least its get the job done with my red braided charging cable; same goes for my blue braided cable from my first half review. Though looking back its charging time from where the beginning; at 2:53 til 7:20 P.M., it took about less than 4 hours in comparison with my blue braided cable to my android tablet for 5 hours. Doesn’t matter which is charged better or quicker, I’m very glad when going through my new braided cables for the first time.
My Overall Thoughts/Impressions: ⬇️
Completed through this second/final half review, my red colored braided lighting type cable definitely fits to my recent iPad device. Though having to wait hours later for its charging test to get through before bed regardless. That being said, I did my best to get by when writing this review from it. All in all, I’m very happy for my new cable upgrades to set up. Do wish them last longer for future uses and among with my other tech items I can charge with.
⬆️ (From April 6th, 2024 to May. 19th, 2024)
Before signing off, here’s another close up for both braided cables that includes putting both straps in. As for its length, this is far I can get before photo shoot on my bed. Nevertheless, I’m sure they’re both similar in length beyond their differences.
Hope you guys enjoy this final review topic I’d really wanted to have. I’ll be taking care with my new braided cables as I can, but taking a break before saving some new topics and continuing ones soon. For now, here’s to a final week til June 2024 and to everyone gotten plans for the summer. Good luck! 👋
Also, this. ⬇️

This isn't about art, I just thought it was kind of cool. Also it's a bit of a rabbit hole.
I went to a thrift store and found this guy.
An old flip phone in surprisingly good condition. I grabbed it thinking I might be able to get it working, despite it having no battery.
It is a Latte Boom GSM phone from 2007. I start to look for information. This phone, that I can find, has exactly two reviews, an online preserved manual, and nothing else. It has a sliding keyboard, customizable ringtones, and mp3 capabilities.
There is no other information about this device. Nothing on YouTube. Nothing on Ebay. No luck finding a replacement battery by name. I found one seller in a forum from 2007 that never got a response. They wanted $150 for it, which is worth about $226 today.
A friend of mine suggests that I try to find a cable to charge it, that it might work even if it becomes forever tied to a USB port. The two reviews even say that it connects via USB. So I start looking. It is so very similar to a USB C, but the port is just barely too small. Here's the port.
This fancy ass phone from 2007 is a /7 pin micro USB/. Which, when googled, pulls up mostly *solder parts*. It does not exist as a mass-produced cable, at least not nowadays.
At this point, I start thinking it may be best to find the original company. Maybe they still make new phones, or keep a record of old products. The only company I can find is "Latte Communications Inc" on Facebook. They are a Californian company founded in 2004. Their first post was in June of 2011, and their last post was in February of 2015. Their listed website, Lattefone .com, does not exist. There is many an unanswered comment regarding issues with their products. Most reviews do not recommend them.
Wayback Machine time.
March 26 2022, Lattefone is a website full of Chinese that I unfortunately cannot read. The one button that says 'english' does not do anything.
September 15 2017, I am redirected by Wayback to LatteZone, with Latte Communications saying their website is being redesigned. Following LatteZone back to 2006 gives us a picture-less selling page for their electronics. Though Wayback has archives of this site to present day, clicking them results in timeouts and errors. 2012 specifically gives us a tablet that iirc was listed on their Facebook page.
Back to Lattefone,
October 20, 2007, the Boom (the phone I picked up) is front and center. Here's the link if you're curious and a screenshot if you're not.
There are no listed specs for the battery, only that it comes with 2.
Still searching for a battery. I wish this little gadget worked.

Tamagotchi Uni USB-C Charging Port is Located at the Bottom
The Tamagotchi Uni will be the first Tamagotchi to feature USB-C, in fact it’s predecessor, the Tamagotchi Smart utilized micro USB. Tamagotchi Uni will feature the latest USB standard, and we love it. This means that your existing USB-C chargers will be able to charge the Tamagotchi Uni, both the power bricks, and USB-C cables. This provides a world of possibilities as to what can charge your Tamagotchi Uni!
Ano Shimizu, the newest member of the Tama Family who was presented the title last week at the 2023 Tokyo Toy Show posted an Instagram story of their Tamagotchi Uni charging. We we then noticed that Bandai moved the charging port on the Tamagotchi Uni!
The Tamagotchi Smart featured a micro USB port on the left side of the device which had a rubber cover to seal the port shut when it was not being charged. Looks like Bandai has switched it up and moved the charging port to the bottom on the Tamagotchi Uni. This does seem to make more sense, but it’s important to call out that you won’t be able to charge the Tamagotchi Uni when it’s in the wristband.

Sony RX100 VII Thoughts After Two Months
PROS:
Stacked sensors are the future. Well, technically the present considering that Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, and OM Systems all use stacked sensors in their top of the line cameras. Either way, finally getting to experience shooting with one on a daily basis has made me want one in pretty much any camera going forward. The benefits are twofold: Not only do you get shutter speeds up to 20 frames per second, and without a mechanical shutter flipping in the way obscuring your view in between shots, but you also get no rolling shutter while doing it. Pretty much every Sony camera can shoot 10 fps bursts with the silent shutter, but any movement can give you a jello-like effect since the sensor reads out so slow on non-stacked cameras. The only con, at least on this camera, is that you can’t shoot flash at higher than 1/100 with the electronic shutter. That’s still plenty fast for a lot of stuff, but well below the 1/2000 you get when shooting the mechanical shutter.
The fast frame rate wouldn’t make much of a difference if the camera was bad at autofocusing, but this camera is great at it. It has a lot of the same fancy focusing stuff that my full frame Sony has like human/animal eye autofocus and all the tracking modes I’m used to. It actually makes the camera pretty solid for wildlife if you can get close enough at the 200mm end.
Speaking of that, the 24-200mm equivalent is a great range, and one that I missed a lot since I traded away my Tamron 28-200 to help cover the cost of my A7RIV. The small size and extra 4mm on the wide end actually makes it even more convenient than that Tamron.
Aside from covering a broader range than the 24-70 equivalent lens from the older RX100 cameras, this lens also seems noticeably sharper. The last RX100 model I had, the Mk. IV, just didn’t seem as crispy as this lens is.
It has a touchscreen! It’s wild to think that the previous RX100 cameras I owned didn’t have this basic ass feature, but Sony was very late in putting touch screens in their cameras. Ironically, I don’t really use it in this one because the AF is good enough that I can just do focus and recompose with tracking.
CONS:
It’s still only a 1” style sensor so high ISO isn’t the cameras strong suit. Programs like DXO PureRAW help a lot and let you get somewhat usable images at ISO 6400 in a pinch, but you’re kinda pushing things at that point.
While the lens is sharper and covers a wider range than the older models, it’s also significantly slower. At 24mm equivalent it’s already at f/2.8 where the old cameras were f/1.8. It’s f/3.2 at 25mm, f/3.5 at 33mm, and f/4 at 40mm. From 109mm to 200mm you’re at f/4.5. The relative slowness of the lens combined with the small sensor means that this can struggle getting quality images in low light without a tripod or something.
No USB-C. My Fuji, Ricoh, and larger Sony all have USB-C charging, which is amazingly convenient when traveling. I haven’t really gone anywhere with this camera yet, but having to account for a micro USB cable is annoying since pretty much everything aside from my iPhone uses USB-C.
It’s expensive. Just like my Mk III and Mk IV I got it used so it was cheaper than retail, but the copy I got cost about twice what I paid for the previous models.
Start up time is just a tad bit slower than I’d like. The GRIII and X100V both beat it that regards, albeit those aren’t zoom lens so I have to cut the Sony some slack.
SAMPLE PHOTOS:
(The sample photos were edited in Lightroom Classic and DXO PureRAW2. Also, the sensor creates a roughly 2.7x crop factor, so the 9-72mm lens equates to 24-200ish)
Young Bird | ISO 160. 72mm. f/4.5. 1/200.
Graffiti Shot from a Car | ISO 100. 33.98mm. f/4. 1/400.
Stickers | ISO 100. 29.67mm. f/4.5. 1/100.
City Hall | ISO 100. 38.13mm. f/4.5. 1/200.
Flip Up Screen Selfie with My Friend Hanae | ISO 3200. 9mm. f/2.8. 1/40.
Zoomed in Graffiti | ISO 640. 72mm. f/4.5. 1/500.
Fishing Store Neon | ISO 800. 28.67mm. f/8. 1/200.
Flowers | ISO 200. 72mm. f/5. 1/640.

Probably the best minor purchase I have made in a while. (As little as I like that weird slanted outlet. Where of course I just noticed that random schmutz on the faceplate.)
Before caving and picking up that USB plug, I had a grand total of one (1) single-port Euro wall plug, besides the other one visible there which is dedicated to the mug warmer/wireless charging pad that lives on the table. Meanwhile, we've been living in Euro Plug Land for going on 3 years now.
With the amount of shit most people do need to regularly charge now, the British-outlet power strip and other 4-port hub at my nightstand have been getting pretty heavy use. Though, especially with regularly charging 18650s/21700s and after that power bank flare in our old kitchen? I really prefer to keep charging lithium batteries under closer supervision. Which rarely describes back in the bedroom, when I'm up and moving around.
This new one has one quick-charge port and 3 regular USB-A. One is dedicated to the charging pad for my new watch, which is nice not having to trundle it into the bedroom whenever I notice the battery is getting low. The others have a mix of micro-USB and USB-C cables to use for whatever.
Meanwhile, the cable management situation is something that really needs sorted out even more now. 🫠
Not all of those are even plugged in, BTW. There's a wall plug clippers charger and my laptop power supply somewhere in that mess. There may or may not still be some random USB cables that Mr. C found and dumped there after I was looking for one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Why not, since back in that Nerd Corner is obviously where the cables go to die?

How to Charge Rose Toy Without a Charger?
In modern life, sex toys have become a part of many people's private lives, among which Rose Toy has attracted much attention due to its unique design and powerful functions. However, sometimes we may encounter situations where the charger is lost or damaged, and how to charge Rose Toy becomes a tricky problem. This article will detail several ways to charge Rose Toy without a charger to help you continue to enjoy the fun in an emergency.
Charge with USB power cable and computer
Prepare materials A USB-A to USB-Micro (or corresponding interface) charging cable (usually a mobile phone charging cable is sufficient) A computer or laptop with a USB port
Operation steps Check the interface: First confirm the type of charging interface of Rose Toy and make sure the charging cable you prepare matches the interface. Connect the device: Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port of the computer and the other end into the charging port of Rose Toy. Turn on the computer: If the computer is not turned on, turn it on first to ensure that the USB port is working properly. Check the charging status: Some Rose Toys will have an indicator light when charging. Observe the indicator to confirm whether charging has started. Wait for charging to complete: Depending on the battery capacity of the Rose Toy and the power supply capacity of the computer's USB port, the charging time may vary. Generally speaking, a full charge may take several hours. Notes Make sure the computer is turned on, otherwise the USB port may not supply power. Avoid using Rose Toy during charging to avoid damaging the battery or device.
Charging with a mobile power bank
Prepare materials A mobile power bank with sufficient capacity A USB charging cable that matches the charging port of Rose Toy
Operation steps Confirm the interface: Same as the above method, first confirm that the charging cable matches the interface of Rose Toy. Connect the device: Plug one end of the USB cable into the output port of the mobile power bank and the other end into the charging port of Rose Toy. Turn on the power bank: Press the power button of the power bank to make sure it is in working condition. Check the charging status: Observe the indicator light of Rose Toy or the screen of the power bank to confirm whether charging has started. Wait for charging to complete: The charging time will vary depending on the output power of the power bank and the battery capacity of Rose Toy. Notes Choose a suitable power bank and ensure that its output power can meet the charging needs of Rose Toy. Avoid charging Rose Toy when the power bank is low on power to avoid affecting the charging effect.
Charge with other USB devices
In addition to computers and power banks, you can also try to charge Rose Toy with other devices with USB interfaces, such as car chargers, USB sockets, etc. The operation methods of these devices are similar to the above-mentioned USB power cord and computer charging methods. Just connect the USB cable to the corresponding interface.
Charging precautions
Safety first: Before trying any charging method, be sure to ensure safe operation. Avoid using unmatched chargers or charging cables to avoid damage to the device or personal injury. Check the instructions: Please read the Rose Toy product manual carefully before charging or consult the manufacturer's customer service to understand the charging requirements and precautions. Avoid overcharging: Although most modern charging devices have overcharge protection, long-term overcharging may still cause damage to the battery. Therefore, it is recommended to unplug the charger in time after the battery is fully charged. Keep dry: During the charging process, please make sure that Rose Toy and the charging device are in a dry state to avoid dangerous situations such as short circuit or electric shock. Store properly: After charging, please store Rose Toy in a cool and dry place to avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environment to extend its service life.
Conclusion
Although charging Rose Toy without a charger may cause some inconvenience, through the above creative solutions and daily charging and maintenance suggestions, we can still ensure the normal use of the device and extend its service life. While enjoying the fun brought by technology, we should also pay attention to the care and maintenance of the equipment so that they can serve us better. I hope this article can provide you with valuable reference and help!
