Yay I did it

Strider is my transformer's oc and this is his lore dump so enjoy :)

(I decided to write this like a lot dump with abit of story weighting stiel du to the vote on sed topic being practically an even split)

All info under cut

Base characters info:

•name: Strider (nicknames: scoot, scooter, and squirrel)

•gender: male (trans coded)

•hight: (idk exact transformers nights so I'ma just give a comparison answer) he is considered a smaller bot being about just a bit over half the night of say Megatron or Optimus

•basik description: he has a Slimer statue his head resembles that of a hat and he has a flip down visor his eyes are a yellowish orange wiel both with and without a cog he has green in his design. He is able to transform into a moped that is patterned with Wight and navy blue stripes.

Ok so his lore will be formatted into three sections one being his life as a cogles bot two being his life as an autobot and then third and finally his life after he joins the deceptions.

One before the war:

Strider was a simple working class bot who hates himself. To put it less simply he feels Rong in his Owen plating specifically his alt mode, he haites that he's a moped. He has dreams of having sutch a better alt mode in his eyes specifically something that could fly he sleeps did what to go visit the stars, but because of his status and alt not mutch charges fore the bit he's lonely depressed and all he's got is his brother (moterborous by @certifiedforklif ).

Two false betrayal:

Ok so as we all know after everything the two factions formed the autobot and the decepticons well of course Strider was an autobot siding with his morals and thinking about the greater good but he had afu problems with the autobots.

One most of the time They ignored his ideas and was very excluded from “military action” being deemed as to small and un experienced; which really pissed him off because fore frags sake bumblebee was just a bit smaller than him and he was Optimuss right hand man. Two because of his lack of friends he was alone and none cared. But despite that he knew the autobots were good so he continued to work by their side.

Eventually one day he was able to get through to his higher ups and was put on a scouting team to go to the surface for whatever reason. Oh boy Strider was overjoyed finally getting the recognition he deserves. But of course tragedy strikes and the team is ambushed by a decepticons scouting team, a fight obviously breaks out the group of autobots outnumbered.

During the fight Strider thought this would be the perfect opportunity to prove himself after so many times of him insisting he was strong and Abel to help and during the fight he did surprisingly well but due to that he started to get cocky. He saw a defenslis seeker dangerous ne'er a cliffside after they had been a bit unsteady due to a previous blow. Strider took his shot and went in for a powerful punch but how would he know that this seeker was skywarp who was able to teleport out of the way just in time and end up behind Strider and successfully pushhim off the cliff.

Strider has so many regrets as he fell wishing and hoping that he would survive that someone would catch him that help would come but it didn't he just fell he eyed to grab the klif to slow or hopefully stop his descent to no avail In fact it didn't help but made the situation worse causing some rocks to nug loos falling with him and then falling on-top of him once he finally hit the ground. His body asked his vision to be blurry; he could taste his blood as he faded in and out of consciousness. He tried his best to stay awake in case someone came to save him. I mean he's an autobot, of course his “friends” would find him. …. Much time passed and Strider started to realize that no one was going to come for him; he had been forgotten And left to die left for dead. Maybe if he could fly he wouldn't be in this situation… he ended up passing out.

Three a new team:

After he woke up he expected to still be pinned under the rubble of the cliff but instead he was carried by someone he has some form of handcuffs on but he wasn't shur his brain was still a bit fuzzy. Once his optics focused he realized he didn't recognize who was carrying him well, at least not personally. He started to put two and two together and realized he had been taken prisoner by the decepticons and the one carrying him right now was soundwave (he only new who soundwave was fun to him over herring bee rant about him and other high gard members and how there all decepticons now) he wasn't sure if he should fight try to get free or run but the decision was made for him as soundwave had put him down after realizing he was up and hiding him into the decepticons base he was followed by the team Strider had previously fought. Eventually he was taken to that which resembles a brig and was put in a cell leaving him alone with his thoughts. Well not for long.

So ya that's his lore as simply I could put it so ya I hope you enjoyed

After a wiel Striders thoughts would be interrupted by a small bot wou would start up a conversation with him this bot being soundbite (my friend @soulsquiggled self insert) eventually the smalls bot leaves and two other bots walk by getting Striders attention being ( my frends @teddy-bear-xing and @binkusdinkus self inserts who are still being developed and drawn) Strider gets their attention and the three talk the two growing fond of Strider and Strider starting to make frends with decepticons of all people. Eventually he'd be let out of the cell and his cuts removed to his confusion untill being toled that the three boys he had talked with and put in a good word fore him specifically Frome soundbite dunto there conversation being like theeripy to Strider as he had vented to them and in that conversation he had mentioned Howe he felt betrayed by the autobots therefore giving him the chance to join the decepticons… and he did.

Also here is him with the logos (I didn't put it on his ref sheet becuss of him being on booth sides at one point.)

Tim dkrake was abused and overlooked by everyone in the hero community and dickwad Grayson was cruel to take away the only thing Tim had in his life.

Damian wasn't even chosen by bruce to be robin and has no skill over than being a greedy bitch to Tim for no reason and it's fact that dick tried to send Tim to Arkham because he thought the Tim was reverting to joker junior which isn't fair because tin was just looking for approval after being abused by his parents.

Nest time educate your self before coming for the only good robin

1)his name is Tim drake

2)he has a (valid) mental breakdown because of his mentors assumed death which others in the hero community understood and literally just gave him space to grieve

3)Dick Grayson is robin. He always will be as it's stated in his backstory and it's his mantle to pass down because (you would know this if you looked at a comic instead of fanfiction) he took on the Job as batman and needed to be able to care for Damian at the same time so ofc he named Damian robin and the fact that you think robin is what defines a charecter tells me all I need to know about you

4)Damian was raised by fucking assassins in a cult which want to improve the future (very grey definition of improve) he has cultural literature intellectual knowledge and combat skills that are overlooked by Tim drake dick riders like yourself

5) you must be fucking stupid because if you read a comic instead of living is petty fanfics you would know Dick Grayson never sent Tim to Arkham and he recommended grieving therapy like the fucking amazing person he is (yes I am a proud night wing glazer)

6) where the fuck did you get the impression that Tim was regressing into joker junior like bitch wtf are you on (probably shitty fanfics💀💀)

7) why the fuck are Tim stans so convinced Tim is a uwu abused baby because he really isn't and was never abused (give me a cannon DC comic where tims parents abused him)

Just watched episode 4 and like... I really do think Nina and the bride are endgame. Like I think this is genuine setup for them to have a relationship at the end of the show.

Frankenstein's creatures whole motivation is having an incelly obsession with bride and a hatred of anyone she ends up with. Thus, logically as the show goes on he needs someone to fight that is dating the bride to continue his story. There hasn't been a single romantic setup with anybody else except she spends all her time with Nina. She fights someone to protect Nina. She explores her backstory with Nina. Like they are actively ignoring developing a larger group dynamic to specifically focus on the two of them, when the major other plotline is incel obsessed with her wants to kill

The bride is a lesbian in the comics, and after that backstory having her get with a man would make no sense whatsoever. She's either getting with Nina or by herself.

We haven't gotten Nina's backstory episode yet and that would probably be saved for last (when fishbride would be most likely to be canonized) so if there's anything in the backstory that would give her charecter arc reasons to be with the bride it would be then.

James Gunn has canonized queer ppl before. In peacemaker Adebayo, Amanda wallers daughter was a lesbian. Her reveal was similarly halfway through the show. The shows seem to get a lot less "don't put gay stuff in" than the movies and like the biggest DC show in terms of numbers is Harley Quinn, so like if the writers wanted to I feel like there wouldn't be much pushback.

Idk maybe this is me being too optimistic but I don't know why this seems to be being treated like a "oh what a fun pairing" and not a "there is a high chance this will be canonized" idk I guess we'll see

I'm drawing a charecter (it's Peter Parker but from my original universe it's cool) and I might end up lore bombing on my writers blog because I'm thinking about it we'll see

I love Vaggie because she has one eye.

She's designed like a human, so she has two eyes but one is gone. She only sees out of one of those eyes. I have double vision due to brain cancer when I was a teenager, and while I have both eyes, (and didn't have my eye physically removed), I can only can see out of one eye at a time with the other being patched up. (Or else theres two of everything). It feels so good to see a character who isn't a Cyclops have one eye when they're supposed to have two.

(Sorry, just a little rant on why I love Vaggie)

I adore Vaggie just like you. She's a great comfort charecter for people with disabilities. It is really nice to have a character in the cast who lost her sight from a life expirence. I'm really happy you find comfort in her.

It is cool to Vaggie a character portrayed with one eye that isn't a cyclops. It's clear before her even backstory that she lost an eye.

Even with one eye she can still gaurd the hotel. We love the best girl. <3

I had a dream where Disney was rebooting the Disney fairys brand but in this fictional dream world there were a few things different

Namely the overall plot of the tinkerbell movies were diffrent with diffrent charecters and stuff and not only was Disney doing a horrible cgi reboot BUT they were also doing a reboot/sequal which totally ruined the plotlines and charecter arcs they'd established!

Like there was one charecter who was established as Queen Clarion's successor and she had a whole background arc where tink had to teach her to be more confident and she had to learn to lead and the diffrence between blindly following queen Clarion and being her own fairy. There was a whole subplot in Secret of the Wings where she had to discover why winter was closed off from the rest of pixy hollow and she helped tink go find Perywinkle it was a whole thing. She didn't show up much in pirate fairy but she had a subplot in the neverbeast but I don't rember what it was

Anyways the dream only included the horrible ad for the new movie (again awful cgi/live action reboot) BUT THEY REMOVERD QUEEN CLARION'S SUCESSOR like she didn't exist at all!! And they were showing off Tink as this Post Peter Pan sad figure who was destined to take the throne after queen clarion. Like that had been her role all along. They framed her adventure with Peter as "running away from responsibility" and it was soposed to be like this whole thing where they revealed the Secret Backstory of Tink but... and I cannot stress this enough... they were ignoring all the lore they'd done already

Like I know this is all a dream and I only got to see the ad and the basic plot overview and none of the movies in my dream are the same as the real life ones but it's just.... so in charecter for Disney that I was fully ready to beleve it when I woke up.

Im very tempted to make a parody video essay where I'm like "this is how Disney is running the tinkerbell franchise" but the plot twist is that it's exclusively about the version of tinkerbell who exists in my dream.

Okay, so I just finished tlok s1 for the first time, and my god, I love Amon so MUCH. I'm a sucker for villains with cool backstorys and masks. Both of which Amon has. He's so cool. I could right essays on him. Nobody gets him like I do. Obv he's NOT better then Toph she's still the best charecter. Amon is probably 3rd behind Zuko. But still, it sucks so bad that they didn't know they were getting a s2 because I wish Amon stayed around for more seasons. His story with Tarrlok was so good, and I actually cried at the end. One of the major complaints about Catbat and Alt Tawna now is how their backstories are too angsty and dark for a Crash Bandicoot game and all Crash games should be silly and goofy and fun.

Y'all wasn't it one of the major criticisms of the Radical era that things were too goofy and immature and trying way to hard to be funny?

And isn't one of the main complaints about the N Sane Trilogy is that it became too cartoony thus undercutting the serious moments of the original trilogy?

Anyway, so yeah back to Crash 4 Tawna and Catbat, charecters in Crash have always had really messed up backstories. Nina got her hands cut off by her own uncle, Crash 1 Tawna was litterally created to be a sex slave, N Brio screwed his head bolts in himself to punish him for disobeying cortex, N Gin is litterally on failing life support powered by the nuke in his head, and I can write an entire essay about how fucked up Cortex's backstory is.

The point is Crash has always had Serious moments and themes while also being incredibly goofy and cartoony. Simalar to other franchises like Kirby or Sonic, do these dark moments define a series as a whole? No of course not. But I think they're neat regardless and give the series as a whole more depth.

I will say this, this show did know how to add more diversity to the charecters, i know a lot of people complained about the casting for Nojiko and fuck that, i loved LA Nojiko even if she was there for little screentime

Beyond Nami backstory and the iconic scene at the end, i legit cant tell you what else happens i this ep and i just watched it (besides Garp and Zeff that is)

The village seemed so off and tuned down. Idk, whit the care and desing than went into every other set it was a shame the village seemed like 5 huts in a circle

I def not vibe with the tone they gave Arlong Pirates. In the anime, eventually we find out about the past between humans and fishmen and the racial tension that exists and how much it influences Arlong. Here the racial theme is very heavy (which is not on itself a problem), but on top of that, why on earth they made the Arlong Pirates the steriotypical black gangster street crew?? Idk it felt very lazy and unoriginal, not a graceful mirroring. The clothes, the music, the hang out spot. I feel like a bunch of white men from the 90s came up with the concept. I dont vibe with the gangsta' thing they tried to pull, specially considering the combination with the racial theme.

I do not appreciate they made Zoro more antagonistic towards Sanji when in reality Zoro has always being reacting to Sanji's attacks, but this is just me speaking as a longtime Zoro fan lol

The plot felt rushed at the end. They spend the whole episode in a flashback and when came back they had 10 min left of ep and a whole charecter development moment to cram in there. I feel it would've worked better if Nami had run to the village and found it ablaze or already burned. Then her anger and desperation would truely being uncontrolable, her whole world and hope dissapeared before her, and end the episode with Luffy screaming to the skies that ofc he will help her. Instead she stops running just bc, in the middle of the field?, and the ep ends in a cliffhanger that was not necessary

Is not that i didnt like the ep, i enjoyed it too but i just think some things were a bit off

Just finished episode 11 so here are my thoughts on ezry:

Hardwon my beloved he absolutely carried this arc on his back holy shit. stunkbug ( adams charecter) had potential but I didn't 100% vibe with him, the plot was a bit predictable but fun, basically the whole thing is Adam's character had his memories altered by a scientist he saw as his friend to make him think this other guy who the scientist has beef with killed his brother so that he will kill him in revenge, while the scientist used his brother to experiment on, his backstory was basically infodumped when he first showed up which felt a bit cheap. BASICALLY the story and roleplaying side of things were ehhhhhh but I loved the world building on Ezry, the in and outside of the bubble actually felt connected and like they were actually a single city instead of 2 separated ones like many fantasy cities with this concept tend to, arcane ( I don't feel like looking up the weird spelling they mentioned it having lmaooo) is a really fun mechanic interested of combat and I also really like it story-wise. Overall a bit underwhelming but I'm excited if they ever come back to ezry to explore the city more

VERY GOOD STUNKBUG DOODLE. yeah frankly i just don't vibe with mr ruins everything. he's annoying and smug to me in a way that activates the chimp rage cortex in my brain and if i want that i could just go on the reddit tbh. BUT YEAH the rcane mechanics from ezry DO come up again (not for very long though, because they are a bit heavy and i think jake and murph decided to move away from a plot like that for hardwon). and to my memory, they don't go back to ezry in campaign 1, but in campaign 3 (which is in bahumia, 200 years later), they start in ezry, and there's for sure stuff from the original ezry like the bubble still present!!!
