Hey, I'm a student and avid writer-pianist, and this is the Peanuts blog I spontaneously decided to create at 04:01 on a Sunday morning. How... exciting?

I've been a Peanuts fan for most of my life at this point, and it is perhaps the only franchise I hold genuinely close to my heart. So, I decided to start a fan blog about it, in the middle of the night, on an app I've never used before, at the tail end of Summer break. Great idea, if you couldn't tell.

Anyway, expect a lot of classic old strips, moments from the TV specials, official art, reblogged fan-art (that is the correct process, right?), a few good memes, and my own thoughts & opinions on the whole thing with some art of my own very rarely (I'm a very shy artist haha)

Oh and to get some quick stuff out of the way:

- Lucy's my favourite character (shocker)

- I adore the janky animation and earnest quality of the old TV specials

- But I think the new, kinder direction is great, I like how sweet the endings are

- I've read every strip from 1950 to 1975, 1983 to 1988, and 1997 to 2000

- I've watched every single Special and Film released to date (even Girl in the Red Truck, even Bring me the Head)

- Despite all that I'm a sentimental tasteless philistine, so Charlie Brown Christmas is my favourite

For those who dont know, I am a cake decorator! (Ive only been doing it for almost a year now) And Im having an absolute blast, I'm really enjoying it and learning as I go, Since I didnt go to school or anything for it. Im so thankful this one bakery in this grocery school I work at gave me a chance and let me explore with it!!

Colin, Rowyn, Jamie, Charlie, and Max live together in a flat. They are all very close friends. Colin and Rowyn are dating. Colin, Jamie, and Max and incredibly close and met first year of university. Charlie and Jamie are also very good friends.

Jayden, Alix, and Keegan are best friends, and have been since Grade 3. They basically know everything about each other. Jayden is Charlie's brother for all intents and purposes. Jayden and Alix are dating. Keegan and Jamie are dating.

Leo and Julie are also important characters, but they will be incorporated more later.
