Pairing: Rey Fenix/Cassie Irvine Quote: Some day my prince will come. Verse: Music

Music had always filled the heart of Rey Fenix. Since he was very young, Rey had loved to listen to anything he could and all of those influences could be seen in his own music career. Traditional music bled through in the way he dressed, loving the traditions of his people. The mask he wore was not only a tribute to the luchadors that were much beloved in his country, but each mask he wore represented a different Aztec, Incan, or Mayan deity. Rock? The very first instrument that Fenix had ever learned to play was the drums, followed by guitar. He often recorded one or the other in the studio while bandmate Gabriel Duran played the other. And rap? Well, his older brother and bandmate Pentagon provided the rap vocals over rock instrumentals. The band, Cero Miedo, worked for a record label that specialized in international music. The CEO, Chris Irvine, had once played with his own band and, as a man from Canada, knew how chaotic the markets could be. He worked with bands from all over the world to impress American markets. That included regular check-ins with Chris’ right hand, and daughter, Cassie Irvine. Not that Rey minded these check-ins. Cassie was a bright-eyed young woman who hadn’t let the world make her jaded. The check-ins were as much for her own peace of mind as they were to check on the well-being of the talent. Rey entered the small lounge that Cassie had designated for their meeting. He adjusted the strap of his mask before smoothing down the lapel of his jacket. “Mr. Fenix! So glad you could make it!” “Hello Miss Irvine,” Rey charmed with a quick kiss on the back of her hand, sitting across from her, “You look ravishing this evening.” It was true. Her long blonde hair was pulled up into a neat bun on top of her head, her dress a soft pink that matched the blush on porcelain cheeks. “Oh, stop. You always know how to make me feel like more than a secretary.” “You are much more than una secretaria,” Fenix promised as he sat across from her. A dazzling smile crossed his lips before he sipped the water Cassie provided. “You’re always willing to look after us. Do you have someone to take care of you? Un Principe? Un Amante?” Rey knew Cassie had a mastery of language. That was often her job for the record label, acting as an interpreter. The look in her eyes was soft as if she was trying to figure out how to state what she wanted to say. “Some day my prince will come. How about you, Fenix? What’s your love life like?” Rey laughed, shaking his head. “Muy mal. I’ve never been one to date, not really. I’m much too busy between mi musica and the band.” Cassie gave a small nod, “I can understand that, absolutely. Between writing and recording, you’re working very hard. Do you take time for yourself?” Rey shook his head again, this time ducking it for good measure. He knew he should take more time for himself. It was something Gabriel and Penta were always urging him to do. But music? It was his heart. It was his soul. How could he possibly focus on anything else? “I…I do have a bad habit of not taking time off. It’s something I need to work on.” “How about working on it tonight?” Rey looked up at her quickly, surprised by the question, “Por Que? You…” “I have a benefit tonight for the label, a children’s charity. It’s technically work, but it’s mini-golf with and for kids. Come with me?” Rey gave a quick nod, though he was still in shock. Accompanying Cassie was a dream come true and, though he didn’t think of himself as a prince, he hoped to be good company.

quick dynamite watch rundown

im glad that mox hasnt forgotten about lee moriarty being on the BCC shortlist, even if seemingly everybody else has. he's been so busy being away for work and he's been stepping in to help out his son(s) (im not forgetting shooter here) wherever he can, but claudio's really stepped in for much of the parenting. regal's distracted playing hard to get towards mjf. we all know what bryan's been up to. despite this dysfunctional polycule, moxley STILL wants to expand the family desperately so he's baiting lee moriarty to prove himself.

the elite vignette HURTS and i think we should stop referring to AEW and start calling it AW instead. i have little hope for them returning before Full Gear.

i LOVE lee moriarty's green hair and his neon green shorts, but i would like it better if the colours matched. god i love watching him wrestle though.

the acclaimed birthday bash is absolutely 5/5, best thing in the world. i love max casters silly little outfit i love his shorts. i love that they give billy foam fingers so he can still scissor, even though they tear immediately. i love the love they have for the fans in the audience. i love the fucking ADOPTION PAPERS. i love the risky DX reunion shoutout. i love that they never give billy gunn the mic. i love that his sons-by-blood get offended. i am kinda sad there wasn't more body horror, or sneaky swerve doing more fucked up shit to daddy ass, but i guess halloween is over :/

forget my AW idea from a few bullet points back. keep AEW in the logo but change the wordmark to Acclaimed Every Wednesday already.

ok so ive been slowly making my way through the AEW back catalog and watching april 2020 now, which is the point britt and tony schiavoni become besties. so britt's segment is extra special to me. i have to say i ADORE how britt neglects to show up with renee and saraya for a sitdown (two new hires, already famous from WWE) and instead insists on doing an interview with her bestie tony, who has been at AEW since day 1 - just like her! PERFECTLY mirrored by how saraya, in her segment, talks about how AEW seemed a cool rebel thing when it started but how it gained legitimacy in her eyes when all the ~big names~ joined. britt's here to say fuck you we're homegrown and proud of it! a recurring theme this episode(*)

the colt cabana thing is insane and extremely funny to me. excalibur called him "marcia cabana's baby boy".

the BCC vs JAS fight was great, ill never ever have enough of this feud. camera suspiciously pulling away from bryan "pussy delirious" danielson & daniel "dragon slayer" garcia at all times because you *know* the moment they laid eyes on each other they [redacted].

rey fenix being too much of a good boi to use the hammer. i love you catboy

keith lee is SO upset by the shit swerve's been pulling! he's laying it all out for swerve! ("ACCUSATIONS! FALSE ACCUSATIONS!") swerve just wants to make up, keith lee wants to know who's sick enough to abet in the mutilation of daddy ass.

i was paying a lil too much attention to twitter drama earlier this week, and jade and marina got a lot of heat because their fight would supposedly be bad or boring. im OBSESSED with the fact that we barely saw them exchange 3 strikes on screen. it was just nyla taunting jade the whole time. nyla's absolutely one of my faves at the moment holy FUCK i needneedneed to see her beat jade for the TBS title sooner rather than later! vicky guerrero's voice is my sleep paralysis demon, she should be on commentary every match mainly because it would make people angry.

AEW All Out 2022 Review

Pre-Show AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship: Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara (c) vs. Ruby Soho and Ortiz

This was okay! A bit messy at times and I really hope Ruby is okay after that landing on her neck and breaking her nose. I'm kinda over Sammy and Tay right now. I feel like they have the potential to do some really good heel work, but I don't think heel work is just making out? Loved the beginning of the match with Sammy getting hit by a buggie.

Pre-Show FTW Championship: Hook (c) vs. Angelo Parker

I want to touch Hook's hair - it looks so soft. This match was way more competitive that I thought it would be, but it was still pretty good. Action Bronson had a cool run-in as well. All in all, a pretty decent match!

Pre-Show All-Atlantic Championship: Pac (c) vs. Kip Sabian

Kip looks like if 2012 tumblr made a wrestling character, but I love the new gear, the style and everything. He really made this match work so well. PAC is a goddamn beast of a wrestler. I really enjoyed this match

Pre-Show: Eddie Kingston vs. Tomohiro Ishii

Eddie Kingston is so damn good. Such an incredible story teller. Ishii is also just a goddamn beast. These two make magic and I can't wait for the rubber match. My favorite Zero-Hour match

Casino Ladder Match: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Rey Fenix vs. Andrade El Idolo vs. Rush vs. Wheeler Yuta vs. Dante Martin vs. TBA

At first, hated the finish because I was so into the match and then it clicked..... The Joker had MJF's mannerisms and butt! Excellent match but it was more of an angle that anything. Real good shit.

AEW World Trios Championships: The Elite vs. "Hangman" Adam Page & The Dark Order

Story telling man. The Hangman/Elite story has been so well done and this just starts another chapter in Hangman's character. Being the reason for the loss is gonna fuck with our anxious dude. I am very interested in seeing where this one goes.

TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Athena

I wish they would have built this story up a little more, because goddamn these two can go. Athena is so damn versatile and Jade is so captivating. I wish they had more time.

Wardlow & FTR vs. Jay Lethal & Motor City Machine Guns

This match should have been FTR v MCMG, but it was good. I hate that the TNT Champ didn't have a title defense. Lots of fun spots, but I wasn't invested until Dax's daughter became UNDEFEATED.

Ricky Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

I'm happy with Hobb's winning, but it was too quick. I hope this story continues because I want some of that Ricky Starks' kinda chaos we all know and love.

AEW World Tag Team Championships: Swerve In Our Glory (c) vs. The Acclaimed

Match of the night, match of the year. I was pacing in front of my tv the entire time. I could not sit still. I was so hyped that my dog got concerned. Anthony Bowens is incredible. Max Caster is amazing. Keith and Swerve working kinda heel set it off. I need The Acclaimed to win those titles. This is their time.

Interim AEW Women's Championship: Toni Storm vs. Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Jamie Hayter

Everyone in this match is so damn good at what they do. The tension between Britt and Jamie (need this fued now), Shida's come back(s), and Toni getting that win - all so amazing.

Christian Cage vs. Jungle Boy

Not a match but a well done angle.

Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho

I had a really hard time getitng invested into this match. It was really good, but I wanted to see Daniel Garcia get involved I guess.

House of Black vs. Sting, Darby Allin & Miro

Really good, but I hope Malakai gets better. That goodbye kiss and the recent reports worry me that he's struggling. I really enjoy this faction. I was hoping to see some storyline progression, but Idk whats going on now

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. CM Punk

Two of my all-time favorite's had a banger man. They both know how to tell a damn story. I loved how Mox targeted Punk's foot but like just that pitbull energy that man has. MJF's return was a great way to end the show

All in all, All Out was really good. I enjoyed myself. That's what wrestling is about - having fun and I had so much fun!

Checked out last night's Dynamite. I loved MJF taking down all the wrestlers who have gained momentum since he's been away, his impression of Will Ospreay as some sort of Victorian chimney sweep was a particular highlight. After this promo MJF got into a pull apart brawl with Rush which was broken up by security and...sigh...Christopher Daniels. Why is the executive vice president physically trying to break up the brawls? That's what the indy wrestlers dressed as security guards are for. I hope that we get an actual feud between MJF and Rush and not just a match on Dynamite to make MJF look strong going into his first actual feud. Next we had a four way #1 International Title contenders match between Rey Fenix, Jay Lethal, Orange Cassidy & Kyle O'Reilly. My favourite spot of the match ws where O'Reilly has Lethal in an armbar and Cassidy does his no effort stops to try to get him off then Rey Fenix pushes him out the way and hits a double stomp. Throughout the night we had Jericho and his new stable walking around the building patronising various wrestlers and staff members with unsolicited advice. I like this new character of Jericho's but I was hoping this segment was going to be building towards something other than another episode of TV Time next week. A segment with The Acclaimed got cut short when the Bucks came on the screen and told them they were being cut due to disrespecting them. This was good but again I hope we get an Acclaimed vs Bucks feud rather than a throwaway match on TV. After Mariah May's loss to Saraya she was saved by her Shimmer tag team partner Mina Shirakawa who exchanged dirty looks with Timeless Toni Storm after the match. I haven't seen Shirakawa wrestle but I'm looking forward to seeing her lock horns with a jealous Toni Storm for the affections of Mariah May. Also I found out that Shirakawa is apparently 36 years old! Bullshit, she's 25 tops! Near the end of the show it was announced that the winner of the Owen Hart Cup will get a shot at the world title at All In. I like the idea of the winner of this tournament going to the main event of the biggest show of the year every year like the New Japan Cup or the G1 (However for this Owen Hart Cup win to have any significance Tony needs to put the breaks on the hundreds of other tournaments he puts on throughout the year.

I really want to get into wrestling because it seems like a lot of fun. The amount of lore and characters and stuff is a little intimidating and I have no idea where to start. Do you have any suggestions? Or like a particular wrestler or storyline I guess that’s your favorite?

the easiest way to get into wrestling is to just start watching. seriously. wrestling is like a soap opera in that it never truly ends and the starting point almost never matters, and it takes the time to get you up to speed. drop in on a broadcast and see who you like and it’s very easy to find hours of material of them from there.

i have a long list of favorites currently but here’s a shorter version:

CM Punk, a well-established iconoclast who frequently served as a mouthpiece for aggrieved fans until he legitimately quit, now making his return after a seven-year absence

“Hangman” Adam Page, a beer-loving millennial cowboy who frequently uses his party-loving facade as a cover for his debilitating fear of failure (i promise this is a really good storyline)

Orange Cassidy, who is a very talented and high-energy performer when he actually wants/needs to be, but he’s usually lazy as shit and throws the laziest kicks you’ve ever seen until he finally gets provoked

Shinsuke Nakamura, the most sexual man in existence

Bianca Belair, a freakishly talented athlete with an attitude to match, and also an extremely long braid she sometimes uses to literally whip opponents

Kevin Owens, a rotund murder machine

Samoa Joe, an even more rotund and murderous machine

Asuka, who loves to wear bright colors, scream in japanese, and kick people’s heads off

The Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.), masked mexican wrestlers who will either kill an opponent or themselves in the ring before they retire

Pliability Ch. 3

Pairing: Orange Cassidy/Original Female Character

Summary:  Emily, a nurse and physical therapist for AEW, had barely been on the job before the pandemic hit. With no prior knowledge of how the business works, Emily learns as she goes in a situation that is not normal by any means. A harmless flirt, she makes friends easily with the talent and the crew. However, an actual real growing crush on Orange Cassidy, who seems to be flirting right back, has her in a tizzy and contemplating ideas that she had never really explored before.

Rating: Explicit / language and eventual smut

Previous Chapter 

The following week brought an even more nervous atmosphere. Everyone was exuding extra excitement due to it being the “go home” for Double or Nothing. The excitement skidded to a halt with Emily as she read the tentative card for the show. While it wasn’t a surprise, seeing a Rey Fenix vs Orange Cassidy match listed didn’t please her. Her displeasure doubled when she heard some of the planned details of the match, including a big scuffle with all the ladder match participants at the end. Once she got to the end of the card and saw the outline of the big face-off between Inner Circle and The Elite as a preview for the Stadium Stampede, she was seriously contemplating faking being sick so she could be anywhere except there.

Out of an abundance of caution, Emily was asked to come sit ringside with the other doctors. There was still about two hours before showtime so she did the same thing she always did before the show: eat. A production meeting meant a deserted catering area so she took advantage by sitting down with her horrifyingly unhealthy burger chips and dessert. She sighed dejectedly and started watching old vine compilations on her phone.  A familiar voice cut above the video and she lazily lifted her head to see Adam Page talking to one of the stage hands. Noticing Emily sitting all alone, he grabbed his protein bars and water before dropping down in a chair a few seats down. Bless him for adhering to social distancing.

“That looks incredible and I am full of rage that I can’t eat that right now,” he frowned.

“What? This thick, juicy bacon double cheeseburger? Cooked medium well and seasoned just right? With BBQ sauce and pepper jack cheese and grilled onions?”

“Now that’s just rude. You need to work on your bedside manner.”

Emily sneered. “Pfft. No patients right now. I can act like a bitch if I want.”

“What do ya mean ‘act’?”

“Keep it up and I’ll wax poetic about the decadence of this brownie and ice cream,” she warned.

“Alright, alright I’ll stop. But seriously, you good? I saw you earlier and you looked a little...I dunno, green around the gills.”

Her face softened at his concern. “Oh. Yeah I’m ok. Just a bit on edge for tonight. I saw the match list and some of the spots and I’m just.. I don’t want anyone getting hurt. Last week was stressful enough.”

“Ah. Yeah, your boy Orange got rocked, that’s for damn sure. He said you cleared him though, no concussion.”

Warmth blossomed inside her chest upon hearing that Orange talked about her when she wasn’t around. Emily chose to ignore it as well as the fact that Adam referred to Orange as her boy.  “He was fucking lucky. I really don’t know how he wasn’t hurt worse.”

He shrugged his shoulders. “It happens like that sometimes. The ugliest looking thing could cause nothing more than a headache but then a tiny little move could snap a tendon.”

“That’s what gives me anxiety.”

“What? The potential randomness of an injury?”

“Yes.”

“Well darlin’, you might have picked the wrong place to work...maybe even the wrong field.”

She rolled her eyes. “I love helping people heal. I love working here. I just wish there was a way to insure nobody got seriously injured. Which is impossible I know...I’m just.. I don’t know, talkin’ out loud,” she stated before taking another bite of her burger.

He regarded her for a moment before asking, “You gonna be ringside again?”

She nodded while taking a drink of her Dr. Pepper.

“The whole night or just for your boyfriend’s match?”

That Dr. Pepper decided to come right back out, this time through her nostrils. Emily hastily grabbed a handful of napkins and brought it to her nose, grimacing. A coughing fit started, followed by three rapid-fire sneezes, a whine and then a boisterous belch. Adam never even blinked an eye.

“He’s not my boyfriend,” she said defensively, once she was able to compose herself. “I just don’t want to have to drag him to the med room for the second week in a row.”

Adam finally cracked a smile. “Not your boyfriend, huh? Then tell me, my good nurse, how did you know who I was talking about? I never said a name.”

Emily floundered. “Uh..I.. uh...shut up!”

“Aww look at your cheeks. You’re blushing! I KNEW you were sweet on Jim!”

“Fuck off! Who...Who the fuck says “sweet” anymore? So dumb...what are you, 73?”

He rolled his eyes and opened one of the protein bars. “Whatever. It’s cute.”

She stared him down for a few tense seconds before relenting and sighed, “Is it obvious?”

“Honestly? Not really. You flirt with everyone,” Adam said. Emily made a noise of exasperation but he kept on. “I was taking a shot in the dark. I was thinking maybe...30/70? But now..I mean you just shot soda out of your nose and then I’m pretty sure your whole body rebooted at the mere suggestion...so I’m gonna amend that to 100% ”

Emily pushed her food away, planted her forehead directly onto the table and groaned before sitting back up straight and clearing her throat. “Could you keep it to yourself? Uh...I’m still pretty new here and I don’t need rumors floating around. It’s just a crush. It’ll pass.”

The sincerity in her voice did not go unnoticed. Adam put on his serious face and with a hand over his heart declared “You have my word. Your craving for the D from vitamin C is safe with me.”

She groaned and threw a handful of chips at him. “You should be ashamed of that. Honestly.”

Emily’s mood hadn’t improved by bell time, despite her joking around with Adam. The anxiety within her kept slowly building the longer the night went on. The show was going on without any issues and honestly she sort of wished something, anything would mess up just so the worry would feel justified. Checking her watch, she saw that they were a little past the halfway point of Dynamite which meant it was time for the Orange Cassidy/Rey Fenix match. She could practically feel her blood pressure rising the moment Orange had walked out and Fenix went for a flying kick. Luckily he had stepped back to avoid getting hit but it didn’t ease her worry at all. Sweat trickled down her forehead, the sickening slap of multiple chops echoed in the mostly empty arena and the heat and humidity were overwhelming. She had to get out of there.

“Doc, am I good to take a quick break? I need some A/C and water.”

Dr. Chris nodded. Both he and Dr. Sampson were at ringside. “Will you bring me back a Gatorade? Grape please.”

“Yep,” she chirped while standing up and speed walking toward the backstage area. She zoomed down the hallway towards the medical evaluation room, already pulling her mask off and thinking how sweet that central air would feel. Busting the door open she found the closest vent and stood under it, trying to catch as much air as possible. The room was much cooler than outside but it wasn’t enough. She peeled off her black AEW staff polo and tossed it on the desk, leaving her in a plain black tank. Spotting a small desk fan on a counter, she positioned it to blow right in her face  and decided to recline on one of the exam tables. The cooling sweat on her brow, the deep breaths and the fact that she couldn’t see what was happening in the ring lowered her pulse and she felt less agitated until...

“Emily, what room did you go to?”

It was Dr. Chris over the radio. A profoundly petulant sigh escaped her mouth before she answered. “I’m in med-eval, what’s up?”

“Had some ugly bumps at the end of this match. I’m heading there with Fenix and OC. Stay there and get some ice packs ready.”

Panic was not a strong enough word to describe the feeling that hit her. Her Apple Watch, annoying as it ever was, made sure to inform her that yes, she was most definitely freaking out by beeping loudly due to her increased heart rate. Swearing every swear word she had ever learned, Emily started to get out several different size ice packs and did a quick sterilization of the table she had been laying on. As a precaution, she slipped her mask back on as well as a pair of blue vinyl gloves. The door opened and Doc Sampson came in first with Fenix behind him. He thanked her for getting everything ready and started talking with Fenix and one of the people on staff that could translate. Emily continued to stand there, hands on her hips, waiting for Orange to walk in.

Well, to limp in more like it. Head hanging low, his bare chest red and sweaty, he hobbled slowly inside the room. When Orange finally raised his head, his eyes widened at the sight of her. He smiled and let out a small chuckle before sitting on the exam table on the other side of the room.

“I don’t know what you think is so damn funny,” she hissed, low enough that she didn’t disturb the others.

“Nothin’. Just happy to see you.”

If this were any other situation she might have literally cooed at that. However her concern and aggravation were too strong at the moment. Two deep breaths. In. Out.

“You are so full of shit. What happened?”

“Splash over the top rope to the outside of the ring where everyone was waiting. Got a little too much distance and my leg hit the metal barricade. I’ll be alright,” he explained.

“Yeah, sure. You’re free to go then. But...remind me, Which one of us is a medical professional? Me or you?” He dropped his head and lazily motioned to her. “Yeah, that’s what I thought. Now show me where the pain is located. I need to check for bruising.” He waved vaguely around his calf and knee area. “Alright well pull that pant leg up for me.”

“Can’t. Too tight,” he said.

Realization dawned on her that he was going to have to take those jeans off for her to check him over for physical damage. Which wasn’t a big deal. She was a nurse, a professional and she could handle this with no problem. Hell, half the time she’s working and stretching folks who wore teeny tiny trunks and nothing else. This was nothing. Totally innocent. A cake walk.

“If you can’t roll them up, you’re gonna have to lose ‘em. Thems the rules,” she said, forcing her voice to remain even.

Orange stood up slowly to slide the jeans off but then remembered he still had his shoes on. When he reached down to take one off, Emily noticed the slight tremor and the tiniest hitch of his breathing. Whichever way he had just positioned himself obviously hurt but of course he just kept on like it was fine. Not on her watch.

“Nope. Sit back up here,” she demanded, grabbing his hands away from his legs, straightening up his posture. He started to protest. “Ah! You better hush. I know it hurts. So sit down and be quiet.”

He actually did as he was told and a bit of her uneasiness melted away. Trying to remain as formal as possible, she quickly undid his shoes and slipped them off. He stood up again and slid his jeans down past his knees before sitting back on the table and gingerly working them off completely. Emily was surprised to see that under those jeans was just a pair of black Under Armour long johns. And even though the same amount of his skin was covered as before, being able to see the actual..definition under that tight fabric seemed so forbidden . A large bead of sweat falling from somewhere around her collarbone down into her cleavage reminded her that she had taken her polo off and was also in a position where more of her was on display than usual. Grabbing at the center of the top hem of her cami, she used the fabric to wipe the sweat away. The movement caught Orange’s attention and she did not miss the way his eyes darted back and forth between her face and her chest before looking down at the ground. A hot flash followed over here again if you asked her, gun to her head, if it was the actual room temperature or the  current situation making her sweat she honestly couldn’t tell you. All she knew is that her dumb animal brain wanted to see him seeing her. Staring at her. Wanting her. She pushed all of those absolutely inappropriate thoughts away. She was a professional, goddamn it and would not let any level of school girl crush bullshit interfere with his level of care.

“Do you need help pushing this up?” She asked, taking a seat on one of the rolling stools, pointing to his lower legs. He nodded and she began to carefully stretch the material out and up. In the back of her mind she registered that she had actually never seen his legs before but pushed past it. “Tell me exactly where you feel the discomfort coming from,” she said while gingerly holding his leg by the calf.

Grabbing her left hand, Orange opted to show rather than tell and placed it on the bothersome spot. Despite the thin layer of vinyl on her hand she felt the heat from the contact and couldn’t help focusing on his obviously strong hand, still flushed red from his earlier exertion. More unseemly thoughts fired around in her head but she again quieted them. She leaned down to examine the area closely for any visible trauma, of which there was none. So she began to slowly poke and prod around, listening carefully to his response.

“Hold on a second, this will help,” she said, spinning her stool around to the nearby cabinets and rummaging. She spun back around waving a tube of BioFreeze gel. “Are you allergic to camphor or menthol?”

Orange shook his head no, so she proceeded to put the cool gel on her gloved fingers and rub it into the painful area. “I am almost addicted to this stuff,” she said, desperate to make casual conversation while massaging his legs. “I use it like twice a week.”

“For your patients?”

“Nah. For myself. Got some persistent back issues,” she answered. “Physical therapy can only do so much. And I don’t have regular access to a massage therapist because of work and well...covid.”

“Why not just have someone here do it?”

She shook her head and she continued to work the gel outwards just in case the soreness decided to spread. She could feel the muscles in his calf and thigh twitching with every pressured pass of her thumbs. “They aren’t here for me. We are here for all of you. Plus like...a 3rd of time I’m one doing the massaging.”

“I could do it.”

She paused her movements for a split second while the imaginary scenario played itself out in her mind quite quickly. She would be laying face down on her hotel bed while he straddled the back of her thighs, shirtless, rubbing and working deep circles into her bare skin with Zero 7 playing softly in the background and sweet scented cherry almond candles burned on the desk. While her libido was screaming “Yes, oh my god, yes! Come to my room TONIGHT”,  the only outward reaction she had was a sort of non-committal hum as she continued pressing her fingers into his skin.

She gently let go of his leg, tossed her gel covered gloves in the garbage and pulled the leg of his long Johns back down. She gave his knee a very soft double pat. “Alright. You’re all good. I don’t see any visual evidence of bruising, but it’s only been a few minutes. Just keep an eye on it. Take this with you in case you’re still sore tomorrow. Let me know if you run out.”

“Thanks,” Orange said as he cautiously stretched his leg out, moving it in tiny circles to test how it felt. “The BioFreeze made it feel better already.” He lazily slid on his shoes opting to just carry his joggers in his hand. He stood up abruptly, leaving Emily no time to scoot back on her rolling stool. Her masked covered face was just a few scant  inches from the flushed red skin of his very toned torso. Her whole body throbbed at the mere idea of running her tongue across his abs and she had to spin herself around to get him out of her line of sight. She stood up and took a deep breath before facing him again. He nodded at her before heading to the door.  But he paused, turned back to Emily, very obviously shot her elevator eyes and  said “Offer still stands” before leaving the room.

Rey Fenix for the character bingo?

I will say I think one of the big reasons I like him (and a bunch of other people!) so much is because of Lucha Underground. He's just really fun and makes me smile! Also some of the stunts he does are. Something else.
