Bloody Painter Headcanons

Did y’all miss these? Idc if this seems like a weird direction to go from my past two HC lists, I’ve always loved Helen as a character and I just went and read up on all the compiled lore DeluCat made of him years ago, and I got some HCs fresh in my mind!

I used THIS YouTube video from DeluCat herself as my main source, assume anything I don’t list/discuss here is filled in by anything here. I’m actually really impressed that she did so much research on different serial killers, psych ward operations, and violent crimes to make Helen as realistic as possible.

Expect canon typical horror/mature topics being discussed from this point forward, nothing is censored beyond this point!!!!

Roughly about 25, give or take a few years

STRICTLY he/him, will react violently if anyone calls him different pronouns, especially feminine ones

Despite this, he’s definitely not cis (it’s actually canon that he’s agender! Friendly reminder that pronouns =/= gender)

Like bro you were literally raised to have a gender crisis. Everyone point and laugh at the egg

Jeff used she/her for him once as a joke and he still has deep scars from what Helen decided to do to him

Like I shit you not, Helen took a sizable chunk of skin out of Jeff’s back, and only stopped because Eyeless Jack physically had to hold him back until Jeff left his line of sight

You wouldn’t even expect such violent outbursts from this guy considering how normally calm he is

Barely talks at all tbh

Like, he’ll interact politely with most of the residents of the mansion and isn’t turned off by conversation, but don’t expect him to hold a full conversation if he deems you boring or unimportant

Which tbh he probably will, he’s not super big on friendships considering how his last one went

Mostly prefers to keep to himself and is often in the more run down/abandoned wings of the manor

Has a naturally more feminine looking face (long eyelashes, smaller nose, etc) and does nothing to try and fix/hide it

Has converted one of the dilapidated rooms into an “art” studio

And by art. Heh. Let’s just say. Corpses

No actually he really just has an entire room dedicated to some of the most fucked up art a person is capable of making

Sculptures made out of bones and flesh, jars filled with coagulated blood submerging his taxidermy projects, eyeball jewelry, teeth jewelry, paint made from pummeled organs and flesh, brandings and etchings on stretched human skin, plushies made of human hair, he’s got it all

He also makes more “normal” art, which in reality is just more traditional mediums that still depict his usual obsessions with violence

Has gotten used to the scent of rot and decay like pretty much every resident has, but is one of the few who enjoys it

Is very selfish, self centered, and has an ego larger than Texas

Him and Ben have a somewhat transactional relationship; Helen films all the depraved torture and crafting he enacts and shares it with Ben, and Ben prints out news articles of Helen’s crimes for Helen to make art with, or just look at to admire his handiwork

ZERO empathy. His morals heavily align with the BEN AI, and even somewhat Slenderman’s

Hates animals. Not cause he’s scared of them or anything, but because he finds their existence useless

…unless he’s using it for fucked up taxidermy

LOVES torture the same way Eyelss Jack loves vivisections

One of his favorite things to do is rip a person’s fingernails out one by one, and then severing the hand and using the bleeding nail beds as the world’s most fucked up large paintbrush

Besides art, he loves to read. Kind of a given considering he’s basically the quiet kid

Loves depraved horror novels and serial killer memoirs/autobiographies

Can speak fluent Chinese, and often shit talks other pastas to their faces without them even knowing

Kagekao learned Chinese just so the two could gossip

Similar to EJ, has a more “buff” physique and has been seen breaking bones effortlessly. When you’ve been murdering steadily for over a decade at this point you kinda just learn where the weak/break points are in the human body

Can improvise anything into a weapon

Actually he really loves killing people with unconventional murder weapons. Scenes are often found with things like metal straws lodged in a victim’s sternum, or the top of a bowling pin shoved down a victim’s throat so far their jaw broke and the victim subsequently choked on their own blood from their shattered teeth

He’s gotten so good at this that the other pastas will literally make a game out of it and challenge him to use an outlandish item as a weapon the next time he kills

“Okay okay how about a bong” “are you being serious right now” “just answer the question art boy” “twice, actually. Though technically I think one of them was a really weird ceramic frog instead. That, or a pcp pipe.” “Awesome”

Hates removing his mask around anyone he’s not acquainted with

Gets reeeaaalll fuckin quiet too

Has gotten so good at being stealthy he doesn’t even alert or startle people like Eyeless Jack does

Surprisingly enough he actually gets enough sleep compared to most of the other residents of the manor

He’s also able to get comfortable and sleep practically anywhere, in the weirdest positions too. Is often found passed out in his studio sitting up, or laying on the floor covered in metal torture tools and bones

Despite his lack of empathy, his blood boils and he seethes if anyone dares to mess with Sally

The first day he stumbled across the manor and introduced himself by what the media called him, Sally gave him a drawing of himself, and he vowed on the spot to look out for the little snot

Is already a naturally patient person, and is incredibly patient and gentle when explaining how to do specific art things to Sally

Jokingly “agrees” with Sally about not liking doctors whenever she’s around eyeless Jack (though in his case he hates psych doctors vastly more than physical ailment doctors)

Back to the patience thing: will stalk a victim for months to toy with them. He has an eternity to do this to people with his newfound abilities granted to him by slenderman, why rush?

Helen 🤝 BEN/Ben = malewhore mansplain manipulate

Will say anything to get what he wants

Thinks in a very transactional and technical way. If you don’t do or offer something to benefit him first, he doesn’t even see you as a person

Is friends/close with: Sally, Eyeless Jack, BEN/Ben, Jason, Ann, and KageKao

Has a tolerable relationship with/is very neutral about: Masky, Hoody, Jane, Liu, Puppeteer, LJ, and Slenderman

Doesn’t get along with/HATES: clockwork, Nina, and Jeff

Him and Jason often collaborate together on pieces involving still living people

Him and Ann have a mutual distaste for doctors/hospital settings, and can often be found stitching up their wounds (or sometimes in Helen’s case a piece involving human flesh) together

Ace, heavily questioning if he’s aro too

He finds Ann aesthetically pleasing to look at, but his thoughts don’t go any further than that. Often uses her as figure practice (with her consent)

Is mainly fascinated by the fact she’s a walking sentient corpse

Tried cannibalism once, wasn’t a fan

Tried going to both Eyeless Jack and Ann once during a dysphoria-spurred panic attack and begged for bottom surgery

“But why tho” “I’m ace. I don’t need it. Don’t women who never want to get pregnant get rid of their uteruses anyways?” “Well, yes, but-“ “so help me god get this thing off my body”

Obviously one of the few times he actually doesn’t appear calm and put together to people. Tries his damn hardest to hide these panic attacks unless around Eyeless Jack or Ann. Would be mortified if Ben, Sally, or any of the loud judgmental pastas saw him in this state

Gives a lot of his full corpse art pieces a physical sex swap

You’re dead but hey free top surgery and you get to be fucked up art

Honestly doesn’t give a shit about symbolism, makes art of whatever he wants/feels like and makes it pretty clear there’s no hidden meaning

OKAY SO I LITERALLY just watched the first episode/prologue thingy for the anime ai is from and lemme tell you. i fucking cried. like i knew how the first episode ends, more or less, but i still wasnt ready. she deserved more screen time frfr i wish to admit that i had a very hard time writing this one (not your fault!) since i struggle with writing characters similar to hishino SOBS so i sure hope this doesnt turn out too too bad! also if it sounds im ragging hard on ai/ai/type reader im so sorry TToTT i think its because i relate to ai a fair bit in regards to the whole masking/lies thing also spoilers at the end after all the hcs, has nothing to do w/ the request i just wanna yell ab episode one

he may eventually catch onto some clues if the mask slips, and when he does hes going to poke and prod and pry

more or less not much changes but hes more likely to keep a closer eye on you, pick up on small things that effect you

in a weird way he can relate

outwardly presenting as a charismatic person ready to catch the spotlight, but in reality being an reckless and inexperienced kid

its... comforting in an odd way, and while i want to say that lj helps you better yourself, i think he would cling onto it too hard and you two end up feeding into the lies

like i want to make this cute and lighthearted but with how i currently see lj, i just dont see him as being... the best, even if he doesnt mean harm to you

i mean, you love him, right? thats not a lie, is it? sure... neither of you had really.. said the words to each other, for fear that it wasnt going to be true.. but, hes sure he loves you-!

catches on almost immediately, unlike laughing jack, hes good at reading folks

i mean he kinda has to given that when he needs food....

he sees right through you, and hes scared that he can understand exactly what youre deal is; another who understands where youre coming from, only real difference with eyeless jack is that hes not trying to keep some charming act up

he subtly urges you to let the mask fall and talk to him, human to semi-human-turning-into-a-monster-human... afterall its not like he has someone to spill your secrets to, given youre really the only person he talks to on a consistent basis.... even if you werent the only person he had he wouldnt dare share your issues with others

with that said, if he cant help you, he wont force his help onto you... at least for as long as its not getting to ridiculous heights

generally minds his own business but he would love to get to know the real you

Ticci Toby;

obligatory hes written as platonic since im not comfy writing romantic stuff for him + im still trying to figure out just how to.. write him...

honestly i think its a 50/50 if he figures out something deeper is going on with you

on the chance he doesnt know, he just thinks youre a charming and bubbly person to be around albeit a little bit of a clutz... but hey when has someone not done something kinda dumb? doesnt think much of it, and things go on as usual

if he does find out youre only acting? i think at first hed be kinda mad, that you lied to him about... a lot of stuff, i mean can he really be sure he knows the real you? well, given the nature of your personality, yeah, to a degree he doesnt

as selfish as it sounds, i think hed need a minute to cool it before you guys can talk and find a way to move forward with the friendship. like i think ultimately hed come to some sort of understanding, since there was SOME ...genuine-ness.. to your actions

Was strolling town without sinister intentions for the first time in forever, when you accidently bumped into him. At first, he was mad until he looked up at you and gazed upon your beauty. You looked at him, and his facial scarring, with fascination.

Your cheeks turned a bright pink when you realized that you were staring for a little too long, "Sorry mister!" You awkwardly apologized, scurrying away.

Eyeless Jack

He had been watching you for ages. Watching as you looked through the cave that made him the monster that he was. The sapphire shade of blue in your hands, and the way the black, ooze smeared on your hand like oil. It had been years, and it was still fresh.

You didn't seem to mind.

He moved forward, the hunter so focused, he missed the stick under the leaves. The snap catching you off guard, the sapphire mask dropping from your hands as you whirled towards him.

"Oh! Hello, I'm so sorry! Is this your stuff? They're all pretty cool, inspired by that one cult story, right? I... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snooped, um, see you around!" You stumbled on, before quickly making your exit towards the row of parked cars beyond the forest line.

Your friends were obsessed with Cleverbot. Talking about some internet legend about some Legend of Zelda character that became evil... or something, you weren't much into videogames, or your friends' crazy conspiracies.

But somehow, one night, they convinced you to try and find him.

Ben Drowned, they called him.

"Just pull the page up and ask for him, and reload until you stop getting bot responses." Your friend said over the phone, instructing you on the art of Cleverbot demon summoning.

You sighed, "You know, this is an AI right? If this demon or whatever is so popular, the AI will probably get the right response pretty quickly.

That is, until a shuddering response, pared with the Cleverbots creepy AI facial features painted your screen.

Coffee. The smell that fueled your every morning, the best kick start of your day. Being a barista was a wonderful job in your opinion, and since you were owning your very own coffee shop, it was even better. Your mom helped you manage the business, having many different, and very successful businesses of her own. She was the best teacher you could have asked for.

You had a regular, a man in a faded orange hoodie, who always showed up, and sat in a private corner booth against the wall. Using your free wifi to upload things from his camera from his computer.

"Alright, let me make that up for you!" You said cheerily, a pep in your step as you walked to the brew counter.

Wanted to drop by again and say that as ive been learning about more of the new versions of the creeps and refreshing my memory on some older ones, its pretty cool seeing how complex and creative the fandom still is!

Like with creeps like Ej and Ben, they have lots of origins / versions! Ej being an ancient demon, cult sacrifice, deep web criminal, lab experiment, ive even heard of one where he was a soldier i think. Bens been shown in stories as a young ghost, a college age / 20ish ghost or even ghost turned demon, an ai, a hivemind, an ancient demon, sometimes even a mix of some of those or something else entirely! Seen lots of lgbt headcanons around too, like Ben as trans, Nina the killer and Jeff the killer as bi, and more!

ough yeah I love different versions of Eyeless Jack. In my opinion he is the best character to make different versions of because his backstory and concept is so vague. I'm pretty sure @neerasrealm has a soldier EJ that i'm fucking obsessed with. lab experiment EJ definitely has a special place in my heart as well.

Ben is also a character that has so many versions due to a weird canon/fanon split so it's super fun to see diff interpretations of him and how people try to mix them together.

I love every LGBTQ headcannon I see <3 these characters have such raw queer energy it's insane. Jeff is bi and gay and nonbinary and a trans man and asexual somehow all at once. It's wonderful
