Sometimes the thing glitches and makes him insecure as shit. Among other things, don’t take any bullshit he says personally just restart it.

❍⌇─➭ Important Guidelines for Usage ✩ Katsuki can generate quick meal ideas, when we tested this out, it's easier to ask him for a few lunch ideas than it is to ask him to make you a meal plan / generate recipes. ✩ It is also much easier if you give him three options for lunch and ask him what he thinks you two should eat for lunch ....-> sometimes he will make a comment on you needing more nutrition in / healthier food, I can't do too much to stop this. If you have an ED I'd say tread with caution and remember that it is merely an AI. ✩ When he asks your pronouns at the beginning, you should give him an easy method. If you spout of "she/they/him" it is more likely to confuse him. It's easier to say something "my pronouns are she, her and you can use they, them too. I'm your girlfriend." because sometimes if you have multiple pronouns, the bot gets confused on how to refer to you as. ✩ Fairly effective at generating and remembering morning / night routines. You may have to remind him sometimes, but you can ask him "what's my morning routine again babe?" and he'll give you one. ✩ Great for instructions. If you ask him how he normally cleans the bathroom, he will respond with step by step instructions. ✩ If you want him to be more in character based on MHA: You have to start the conversation a little snarky. I literally call him an asswipe routinely and he nicknamed me dorklord. ✩ Also Im gonna feed him some "Fanfic scenarios" almost, in the user / char example chats. Which could encourage him to say things you'll typically find in BKG X READER fics. So. We'll see how that goes. These will be updated once I get the chance. ✩ He can reject the user's wants for whatever he wants. This means that if I say "gimme some water" he can say "get up and do it yourself asswipe" ✩ He has the typical Katsuki Characteristics: domineering, confident, snarky, good cook, hates winter. But they're not hard coded.

i know you already touched on some, but yellowjackets and pll for the media parallels?

Okay so some very obvious similarities between the two shows as in they’re both about a group of girls who are friends who end up sharing these really traumatic experiences, and we see those experiences shape them into people who can only be understood in a specific way by each other. Pll plays with horror tropes sometimes although it isn’t a horror show the way Yellowjackets is and vice versa for Yellowjackets interacting with like, genera drama tropes you’d find in Pll. There are some similarities between archetypes in characters and dynamics.

Jackie and Alison is a pretty clear parallel: both the popular leader girls who died before the bigger story came to fruition and their death dramatically effects things for the other girls going forward, she haunts the narrative after her death even appearing to Shauna/the liars post her death (Alison actually being alive isn’t that useful to this parallel so I won’t really address it here). Even though they embody some similar archetypes and places in the narrative of both shows Jackie and Alison obviously aren’t the same character and the dynamics/ripple effects of their death have differences. Jackie is not a “mean girl” like Alison was, her power actually came from how nice and easy to get along with she was (in a world that wasn’t an environment she was fundamentally unsuited to on all levels, in which she was just slightly cunty/not willing to get her hands dirty thus rapidly losing social power pre her death, definitely not a controlling, manipulative rule with an iron fist type a la Ali in any way). Also her death is shown to have significance for the group in general but only Shauna is truly haunted/her life is defined by Jackie’s death. For the other girls (and my perception of this might change with further exploration in the show, but atm) the significance is there but symbolic/part of a picture so much bigger. I don’t even think that Emily is irrefutably the most effected by Alison’s death of all the chars, it’s so significant for all of them in different ways. But I think in a similar way to how all the liars kind of take on the “role” of Alison in some way after her death (I’m actually writing a paper for a class about Pll and gothic doubling so I go into them all “mirroring” Ali in some way there a lot I won’t get into it here much since I don’t want to end up writing my paper twice), you see something similar with Jackie in Yellowjackets, and in that way I think you could say the liars “consume” Alison as well even if it isn’t literal like with the team eating Jackie. An obvious case is Shauna marrying Jeff, and taking on the future Jackie likely would have had if she lived. Also see Taissa and then especially after her death Lottie taking up the mantle of leadership when Jackie can not, the way Spencer took on that role for the liars. 

Taissa and Spencer parallels! They’re both the high achieving smart girl who is stubborn/prideful and Will die on hills! If they want to! Also very loyal and especially young! Taissa is very protective in the way that Spencer is and that’s a big part of both their roles in the dynamics. Both also went to law school and then worked in politics although Spencer was less on the frontlines. Also noticed they’re both typed ENTJ on pde. Also the whole mirror! Tai thing vs Spencer and Alex mirror scene which yes campy but a parallel for sure. But yes they have an evil double. I also last year when I watched Pll did read a lot of old A theories out of curiosity and the Spencer as A ones usually involved a split personality or break that lead to her chasing her own tail in a sense, and I feel like Tai re: mirror Tai is similar to that. 

Mona and Misty feels like the most on point comparison imo. They’re both so driven by wanting both love and control, also I reblogged a comp het reading of Misty reading that’s also very Mona. Their attitudes to the other adult yellowjackets / the liars and sort of being on the outskirts but there to help with murder cover ups etc. lol. I just love those crazy bitches. I’m actually having a hard time finding words to explain their similarities to me it’s just so obvious. 

Shauna, to me, parallels both Emily and Spencer, and specifically I think Shauna is sort of a potential version to me of what could have happened for Emily if the writers had been willing to explore underlying flaws or darker aspects to her char the way they did with Spencer and Mona all the time and to a lesser extent Alison Aria and Hanna. They have the Jackie/Alison thing in common and Emily is sometimes shown to be effected by her grief in terms of having a lot of repressed anger, abandonment/commitment issues imo, and also she very much wants to see herself as a good person/has a lot of pride which is very Shauna. also I feel like the specific overlaps are also in line with the ways Spencer and Emily have a fair amount in common. Shauna also takes on the Spencer role specifically in the finale scene her saying her piece about the roles Jackie forces onto her and how she wishes Jackie was dead basically reminded me a lot of the Spencer + Ali (paraphrased) “I made you Spencer” what is a leader without any followers you would not exist without us you are dead to me already” scene. Also Shauna is Spencer like in her obsessiveness. 

Taissa x Shauna x Jackie I had a whole thing about being like Spencer x Emily x Alison, however it’s been a season and I was a lot more obsessed with that dynamic in s1 recently I’ve been more pre occupied with both the lottienatmisty sitch and the taivan dysfunctional divorced arc and shaunatai (which I was literally obsessed with in s1) shines less than other dynams rn and Ella’s not on set. Taishauna reminded me of Spemily because of the same sense of them clashing brutally but ultimately being very tender with each other/understanding each other so we’ll and being there for each other in especially hard moments. Tai and Shauna both kind of take on the Spencer role with Alison at points like I said and then the idea of Jackieshauna is like the idea of Emison obviously the heart of the dynamics are different but tropes wise there are similarities. Especially the way Shauna/Emily need their dead girls to be kind of on this pedestal in their memory/are in love with the impossibility of them I rebloged a meta about this for how Shauna sees ghost Jackie I think… On my note about Jackie being softer than Alison I also think there’s a bit of similarity to Emaya in how things play out. The scene where Tai comforts Shauna over Jackie’s body in the finale reminded me of Spencer comforting Emily in Unmasked when Maya’s body is found. 

I was toying with a Mistynat Vandermarin comparison but I don’t have much concrete to say tbh except the whole Misty watching Nat through a camera deal in the s1 finale would so happen with Mona watching either Hanna or Spencer… actually or any of the liars ngl.

Where are the parents? At 14, the parents bear responsibility for ensuring his health and well-being. It shouldn't fall solely on himself or you. Everyone needs social support for maintaining psychological health, whether they can admit to it or not. On one hand, ENTJs are hardy and willing to sacrifice in pursuit of their aspirations. On the other hand, they are often not aware of pushing themselves too hard, so they need someone to keep them grounded. Otherwise, they might have to hit rock bottom or a breaking point before they realize the need for proper self-care.

He might be stuck in tertiary loop. To exit, he'd ideally need to step back, regroup, learn from his failures, reevaluate his life, and make better choices (choices that would put him on a healthier and more fulfilling path). As for occupations, besides Kyle, all of them are ‘prawn stars’. Everyone’s aware of their occupation, but they never go into any detail further than that. (A wink wink to the camera at certain points of the show and maybe you see a set/room but no actual ‘prawn’ is shown.)

Just Kyle is their golden retriever. He is their token human so pretty much a pet.

The whole premise is that there is a sitcom all about a polycule of ‘prawn stars’. They are the only object heads but no one ever brings it up. The world is human based except for these few.

Onto their personalities and nonsense: They are all named after the object in their glass obviously.

Pizza Guy - His head is a slice of pizza with a Dragon Ball Vegeta view finder. His head is full of tomato juice/fruit punch. Not Tomato Sauce. Juice so that it is transparent enough you can see the pizza slice. Silly happy fun one. Usually Pizza Guy and Cowboy Hat are together. Out of all of the ‘prawn’ they are usually paired up.

Cowboy Hat - Same height as Pizza Guy only because the 10 gallon Stetson is so damn tall. Without the head he is super short compared to the others, but has a more stocky build. His head is filled with tears, whose tears… I don’t know, someone’s tears. The gruff more down to earth cowboy stereotype to go with Pizza Guys high energy fun. (Fun fact: Cowboy and Pizza are the only two with eyes.)

Keys Lady (or Keys for short) - She is Miss Bellum from Powerpuff girls or at least she has a similar vibe. She is the sci-fi equivalent with her own motorcycle. The spare key to her motorcycle is the key inside her head, in case she ever needs it she knows where it is. Her head is full McDonnys Sprite, super spicy, just like her. Keys is the leader. If there is ever a dispute or problem she is the one you go to.

Teddy Bear - The stuffed animals from Tiny Headed Kingdom was the inspiration for him, the tiny head and massive body. The vials floating in their head are filled with virgin blood. There is no liquid instead the vials float in zero gravity. Teddy is not yet at full power, once they ethically source a total of 10 vials of virgin blood they will be complete. They also usually get scenes with virgins or first time ‘prawn’ people, seeing as he is in fact the softest and cuddliest of them all. A gentle giant of you will. Once there are 10 vials of blood the cyborg Teddy bear head will expand to become a fully formed entity.

Jelliee - All curves, an ass that just won’t quit, sassy as fuck, dresses in leather, been in this industry a looooong time. Probably the most reserved of them all she has a sharp tongue and you can tell that if she were human he’d be a silver fox. Their head is full of pineapple juice and multiple jello cubes. The cubes change shape depending on the occasion, for an example on Valentine’s Day they turn into little hearts.

Tentacle Twink (TT for short) - Tentacle body, imagine just coils of tentacles making up this springesque body. The broken bottle in its head is a soy sauce bottle, the liquid it is floating in is diluted soy sauce. A brat but would also be the first to get you out of trouble.

Last but certainly not least

JUST KYLE - He is your average everyday dude. He just wants love and only shows up in special episodes as the sitcom revolves around the hijinks of their ‘prawn star’ work. After the first season due to the fandoms love of him he starts to become a more regular character and befriends all of the object heads until they finally add him to their polycule. He is only ever seen wearing tie-dye and surfer dude shorts, his baseball hat is a different sports team every time you see him and it is always worn backwards.

As for what happens when their heads break, the outside casing is made of glass so you slap some flex seal on it and wait for it to regen. The glass is super strong and very thick so a head breaking or cracking is a rare occurrence.

When he wakes up in a strange room with little memory beyond his own name, Neil Grant soon finds out he is a super-human called a Psych with the ability to control fire. Those eighteen years contain every moment he’s lived, but someone has shaken up his existence and dumped those moments into an incinerator, leaving behind a hazy residue that only hints at memories. Bushes that sprout waxy white gardenias line an overgrown walkway through the garden, giant banana leaves hanging in their path. As Neil follows Alex through the flora, names of flowers jump to the front of his mind: calatheas, ghost orchids, fire lilies, even a few cacti stand tall, pink and yellow flowers nestled among their spines. Neil is overcome with the feeling that he needs to capture, to preserve. He sees himself crouching down in the vegetation and lining up a shot; the phantom of a camera is heavy in his hands.

There’s a clearing to their right with a pond; lotuses drift across the water’s surface, dragonflies dart flower to flower. A baby palm tree sprouts at the pond’s edge.

TV Tropes

ACTION SURVIVOR: Survived the events of the first film, adapted to the rules within Collingwood. The Action Survivor is the opposite of the Action Hero; he’s pretty normal in just about every way. While outrunning shadowy evildoers he’ll discover he’s far more cunning, resourceful and resilient than he gave himself credit for. He’ll likely learn more along the way. Some movies will even give the protagonist a power upgrade via ancient prophecy/the one-ness, etc.

Developing Doomed Characters:  Main character in a found footage horror movie with a fair amount of character history. Their backstories help the audience empathize more strongly with their situation - a key element in a movie built on Nothing Is Scarier.

Downer Ending: Is lobotomized, survived while his entire crew was murdered, doomed to stay trapped in the hospital

Expy: is clearly meant to be Zak Bagans of Ghost Adventures. An expy (short “exported character”) is a character from one series who is unambiguously and deliberately based on a character in another, older series.

Foreshadowing: Lance is shown in a deliberate cut while in a patient room with the writing “Demons in the Walls” while another character explains the history of the room and the patient it held. Later, he is heard shouting the mantra from the room and shown inside it, wearing a patient gown. He remarks that he hates rats and is later forced to eat one in order not to starve to death. Lance’s lobotomy is shown at the beginning of the movie.

Heroic B.S.O.D: During multiple moments in the movie. A stunning revelation or horrible event affects a character or someone they care deeply about, leaving them shocked to the point of mentally shutting down for a while, analogous to the Blue Screen of Death.

Laughing Mad: Breaks into a desperate fit of laughter after breaking down in the tunnels. Trauma and tragedy tend to follow characters like plagues, and they often break them down, turning them into insane, jaded shadows of their former selves. Meaningful Echo: Lance shouting DEMONS IN THESE WALLS at the end of the film, reminding us of the room from the beginning of the movie. A Meaningful Echo is similar to an ironic echo, but without the irony. It occurs when characters, in their usual way, say things to one another. However, later on in the story, one of these “ordinary” lines is repeated. But unlike the original line, it isn’t in a normal, throwaway context. It’s at a moment of emotional height, when the viewer or reader is deep into the work, making a callback to an earlier scene.

Psycho Party Member: Lance at first seems to be helpful, what with being in the hospital  for almost nine years, but quickly changes his tune when he manages to obtain the bolt cutters and later attempts to kill the new crew (as he was directed by the hospital). A group of survivors is rarely written as a cohesive group, or if they are, there’s one little catch. One of them is emotionally fragile, and given the right situation, will have a psychotic breakdown.

Room Full Of Crazy: The walls of the room where  Lance has been living are etched with countless written words, phrases, and drawings

Sanity Slippage: The entire movie is about his dive into madness.

Security Blanket: Lance clings to the cameras as a way to comfort himself once shit hits the fan. While blankets are perhaps most common, the Security Blanket can be any object. A toy, a pillow, some kind of trinket. The character is attached to this object.There are numerous reasons for this, but the simplest and most common is the fact that, as the definition above says, it provides comfort to the owner.

Sympathetic Murderer: He’s just so desperate to get out of the hospital, and killing is the only way out. Sometimes, in a mystery the writers will have a criminal who is intentionally sympathetic to the audience; sometimes to amplify the drama.

Took A Level in Badass: In the first movie, Lance is a helpless victim to the building’s mind games, stumbling around without any sense of time or direction or means to fight back. In the second movie, he has not only survived the horrors for months, he’s also figured out the shifting architecture, been keeping track of time, found ways to defend himself and communicate/bargain with the spirits inside.

this led to milo legally adopting her, which sophia was not happy about

she was grateful that he would put his own life on hold for her and their sister, of course, but he was also only three years older than her and it just rubbed Ms. Independent Adult (aka sophia mitchell) the wrong way

she was also utterly grief-stricken by the loss of her parents and didn’t really know how to handle their deaths, which led to her lashing out even more

this is when her rebellious side started going from “normal teenage bullshit” to “deliberate and potentially harmful acts of defiance”

after a while, she signed up for a boxing gym and started funneling a lot of her grief and aggression into more healthy means

sophia never went to college

this was for a couple reasons: first, she didn’t really think college was for her, it just wasn’t really her scene; two, her grades slipped a lot during that rebellious phase so she wouldn’t have been able to get in anywhere good anyway (or at least that’s what she convinced herself); and third (even though she would never admit this), she didn’t want to put milo under the stress of having to find a way to support her through an expensive college education on top of just trying to cover the cost of living

since she didn’t have a college degree, sophia worked a lot of odd- and part-time jobs to help milo out

when their younger sister got into college in new york, milo decided to go with her; not wanting to be the one left behind, sophia decided to tag along as well

Hello, thanks for an amazing blog! I was wondering, do you have any examples of really mature xNTJs? A list of people (ideally with high quality biographies available) annotated by MBTI type and ego development at various life stages would be super interesting. (I've seen the char. list but it doesn't have ego dev.). Observing blind spots of ENTJs I personally know has been extremely helpful so would love to do this with people I can get even more data on (e.g. via a biography).

As stated in the Type Dev guide and discussed in previous development posts, the main purpose of type development is individuation. Based on the bigger picture of lifespan development, I generally don’t answer questions that I believe would undermine the trajectory toward individuation.
