Luka

Despite being a father figure to MC for a decade now, they’re still caught off guard by the request. Somehow, he still feels undeserving of such a great honour. Once MC has reassured him that they indeed want him to do it, then he’ll gratefully accept.

He’s touched by the request but also feeling wistful at the same time. He knows that he’s not good enough to replace Viktor — and he’s certainly not as good of a dancer as his big brother, but he’ll make sure to give it his all, to make it special and memorable.

Pavel

Honestly, he’s really surprised and taken aback. Him before Luka, who has been raising MC for ten years? He’ll probably make sure whether MC is sure and even suggest Luka to do the honour instead.

But after MC reassures him, then he’ll accept, albeit with a feeling of guilt. A small voice in his heart tells him he doesn’t deserve this, considering Viktor’s last wish was for MC to be taken care of by Luka instead of him and it was clear that Viktor didn’t consider him to be a good father figure for MC.

Yvette

Her?! Are you sure MC? Yvette is fully aware that she is probably the most undeserving person to have that honour in the whole city. Hell, even Sebastian (the butler) and Ivan and Boris deserve it more than her considering they’ve spent more time with MC growing up than she ever did.

She’ll probably try to talk MC out of it, but if MC still insists… Then she’ll guiltily and hesitantly accept. But over time, she’ll come to fully appreciate the gesture and she feels hopeful… She’ll see this is an opening or maybe some kind of forgiveness from MC.

Maybe it’s not too late for her to have a better relationship with her child in the future and this time, she’ll make sure to be active in MC’s and her grandkids lives, swearing to never make the same mistake she did ever again.

Viktor

Immediately becomes emotional. His eyes are probably tearing up as he immediately accepts. MC grows up so fast… Has it really been more than twenty tears since he first held MC in his arms? It certainly doesn’t feel that way to him.

And yet, here’s his precious child asking him to do one of the greatest honours there is for a parent. As he dances with MC, he finally fully accepts that his child is now an adult and no longer a little kid.

He’s proud of them and the person they’ve grown to be and he can’t wait to be the best grandpa ever to MC’s kids.

Cara

Wait, are you serious MC? If so, then she’ll gladly accept. She’s definitely touched and honoured for the opportunity and the fact that MC considers her a mother figure in their life.

But she’s usually not a sappy person, unlike someone (*cough* Viktor *cough*), so she’ll cover it with her usual confident and easy-going grins. And yes, she does know a good deal of great moves and she’ll be more than happy to show them to MC to inspire them. Overall, she’ll just keep up her energetic and upbeat spirit.

o caso mais clichê possível do ricaço que tem tudo que se pode imaginar, menos a uma coisa que o dinheiro não pode comprar... amor de verdade! eita como sofre. herdeiro de um chaebol, suhyeok foi direto pro curso de relações internacionais, porque a família decidiu que a facilidade dele com idiomas, sua genuína curiosidade pelo mundo e seu charme camaleônico, capaz de se adaptar a diferentes contextos culturais, fariam ele se dar muito bem com a parte de negócios internacionais e comércio exterior. e estavam certos! suhyeok se apaixonou pela área, e não demorou muito a se tornar um workaholic, afinal que outro caminho havia para seguir? em uma família como a dele, não se pode ser menos que excepcional. produtivo. um overachiever.

suhyeok passou alguns anos trabalhos no governo, na verdade. isso até o pai falecer e começar o jogo de tronos entre os irmãos (e a mãe, e primos, e tios, e...) para ver quem ficaria com que fatia do conglomerado da família. o fato de tudo estar, em tese, bem-delineado no testamento do velho não impedia que todos tentassem achar uma brecha no contrato para ter uma fatia maior do bolo, e suhyeok não ficaria sem a sua, é claro. desde então, assumiu um cargo de ceo e voltou a focar mais nos negócios.

hoje em dia, suhyeok pode se gabar de muito. além de milhões (em dólares), tem na conta um doutorado em uma faculdade ivy league, fluência em seis idiomas, uns 60 países viajados, um currículo excepcional, contato com a elite e os chefes de estado da ásia, uma filha que é uma criança brilhante... com quem ele está tentando remendar a sua relação. uma ansiedade não-diagnosticcada. o que mais? ah, e um casamento falido que acabou em divórcio quando ele encontrou a esposa com outra na cama. o motivo? suhyeok estava deixando muito a desejar sexual e afetivamente. o casamento não tinha amor nem tesão, e aquilo tinha se tornado insuportável pra mulher. no fundo, suhyeok sabia que era verdade, mas não queria admitir.

a verdade é que suhyeok também tem a sexualidade reprimidíssima. ou tinha. não foi até o divórcio que decidiu experimentar estar com algum homem. hoje, decidiu tacar o foda-se e viver o que sempre se privou de viver sexualmente... mas tudo no sigilo, claro. e foi assim que foi parar num site de papais de açúcar, provavelmente. suhyeok tem muito dinheiro a torrar com um rostinho bonito e agradável, afinal, e ter algo regular é mais fácil do que ficar procurando por um gp novo várias vezes. se apaixonar está meio fora de questão, porque suhyeok não sabe bem o que seria viver disso. de verdade, não sabe como construir relações significativas, ainda mais quando nunca teve um referencial de afeto real na vida. está muito tentando consertar isso com e pela sua filha, que merece algo melhor do que ele mesmo teve, mas é difícil. e sua filha é sua filha, e é uma criança ainda. se relacionar com adultos é mais difícil porque é muito mais difícil confiar neles, não é? adultos, sim, podem ter intenções esquivas, e no mundo de suhyeok isso é mais exceção que a regra: todo mundo, no fim do dia, só está pensando em si mesmo. e como bom internacionalista discípulo de morgenthau, ele vai fazer o mesmo pra garantir a própria sobrevivência.

Plot: Leo and reader always had a disliking towards eachother, part of it being due to their dads own dislike towards other but soon starts to like eachother s company then finally turns to lovers.

(This was rushed, sorry about that, you can ignore the plot part and get your own idea from the start)

it was easy for leo to automatically stereotype you based on just finding out what cabin you belong to alone

he hated how loud the ares cabin was — it wasn’t like the apollo cabin where Leo could listen to its soft Melodie’s while he worked, it was loud thumps and yelling disturbing his work zone

that caused him to always be snarky and passive aggressive towards the majority of your cabin, grown some guts after going on a quest and finding out he can set things of fire

you were clarisse’s second in command always ready to defend your cabins pride at a moments notice

it was always when clarisse wasn’t around when Leo decided to pick a fight with you — saying some backhanded things about ares kids

don’t get Leo wrong, he grew out of hating all ares kids phase in the first few weeks of arriving at camp

he just started to hate you

and you had already hated him

that caused a lot of tension between the two cabins as a whole and especially got in the way whenever capture the flag was involved

it was nearly a crucial unspoken rule that the ares and hephaestus cabin never be on the same team unless you wanted to lose

until someone made the mistake of doing just that

“Oh of course, you know exactly what to do! It’s not like you’re known for your brains,” Leo taunts while you were making plans and putting on gear.

“As if you could come up with anything any better!” you retort, “The only thing you’re known for is spontaneously combusting.”

“¡Cállate, pedazo de mierda!”

“What the fuck did you say to me fuckface?!”

“Nothing, just that you’re the most pleasant person to be around!”

did you learn Spanish just because you were really tired of not understanding Leo whenever he muttered and yelled in Spanish?

that wasn’t great for Leo though since he always mutters under his breath about how it’s getting tiring always having to argue with you and hating how’s he grown to get used to and admire the face that yells back at him

“Why do you even have anything against me?” you glare, walking around Bunker 9.

“¿Por qué me acostumbraste a tu cara?” Leo mutters back fiddling with some device in his hand.

“¿Cuál fue siquiera esa frase?” you remark blandly, seeing his shoulders drop in shock.

now Leo has to be extra careful about what he says when you’re around afraid that you’ll find out about the feelings he’s deemed stupid for you

however sometimes he forgets just how many people can understand you and him when these bits of banter echo across camp

so some campers have decided to take it upon themselves to translate every single thing Leo has said about you on a piece of paper and deliver it on your pillow — there were dates and everything

it seemed to be the one thing that caused you to try have a civil conversation with Leo with him actually returning your civility

“So what was this about you saying I have a pretty face?” you remark, flipping through the packet.

“That,” Leo pauses, “That was when the lighting was extremely good that day.”

“Uh-huh, yeah. Okay,” you nod along sarcastically.

the whole thing was extremely satire since both of you had too much pride to formally apologize to each other so it came in the form of not screaming across camp at each other

it was the best time your vocal cords have had in a while

not for the rest of the campers though

the yelling was practically a common occurrence and was a part of their daily schedule at this point so the silence that should’ve been comforting was now ominous

it got to the point where they all had a makeshift meeting where they had to figure out where both of you were and make sure nothing happened

until then they saw you walking out of the forest — presumably from bunker 9 — poking fun at each other and laughing good-naturedly

and so, the Aphrodite kids won the bet against the Apollo kids and gained a shit ton of drachmas
