OP Academy has Doflamingo and Monet's dynamic on the mind lately, and I started comparing and contrasting it to Luffy and Robin's, and generally how they view their respective crews.

Both Monet and Robin are willing to die for the sake of the well being and future success of their respective captains, and in both cases, there is a "destroy the island" button. The Buster Call at Enies Lobby, and the lab self-destruct button at Punk Hazard.

Though the ways that Doffy/Monet and Luffy/Robin interact with those elements is where the differences really show. Monet was ready and willing to destroy the lab and everyone in it, while Robin did everything she could to stop the Buster Call from being activated.

And in regards to Doffy & Luffy, one asked their crew member to die for him but not what she wants for herself, while the other asked her to be true to herself, and say that she does wish to live.

I'm glad that Monet is doing alright in Academy, and is acquainted with Robin. Hopefully she is offered the choice she never got in the main manga.

I caught up to the manga!

Here are my thoughts and predictions of what might happen:

Media broadcast reminds me of Kamino arc and Dabi reveal. Kamino arc revealed All Might's true self and health issues. Dabi reveal outed E-word as the abuser he is. Both reveals caused a great shock in public. Since the patterns are similar, I expect another shocking reveal in a few chapters. Possibly around 398. And that would be AFO outing himself as Hisashi to All Might, Izuku, or both 👀

I'm worried about All Might. Nighteye predicted he would have a gruesome death, and he had several death flags in this arc alone. Trying to fight prime AFO as a quirkless man is so dangerous 😭 I want to believe he will stay alive. He HAS to keep living.

I'm not sure how many spies AFO still has in UA. They might sabotage the system and take civilians hostage. Especially because one of the parts (cabins) is unable to move to the safe grounds.

Toga's villain name... she drinks blood to transform. I think it will be something like Bloody or Blood Lover 😅

E-word will die. I want Touya to return to his family, but he's so burnt he probably needs Rewind to survive.

Quirk rebellion is interesting. AFO and Shiggy will lose their stolen quirks if they are able to break free from them.

I find Izuku's condition very sus. His hands are always covered with gloves, what if he has holes on them like his dad?

If Izuku has his own version of AFO, he might be able to borrow quirks from his classmates. OR he can fight in that mind dimension to set the stolen quirks free. Just like how Yoichi and Nana defied AFO.

Speaking of Nana, I wonder if she's related to Inko? They do look similar, and Nana being Izuku's grandma would make Shiggy his cousin. I hope Hori can give us Inko's backstory after the DFO reveal.

Okay.. why no one thinks that it's weird that both Deku and All Might had scenes where they look like villains..?

You can't just ignore it because it looks cool and they're so badass and dark and edgy ....

Because they're heroes!!! I think that Horikoshi tries to tell us something by that.. like maybe they're not really doing a good thing.. even if they think they do...

I think that it's very symbolic yet no one seems to care which bothers me a lot... Why this fandom is like that? Why whenever fandom's favs are shown people can't see the symbolism and hints? They just take things at face value and seem not to care about all the red flags and the bells which are going off...

Why the so called heroes don't seem like heroes? Why should I root for someone who looks like he would kill me on a sight? What are you trying to say Horikoshi?

Why the literal MC and his mentor look like they were taken from rogues gallery..?

ADHD + audiobooks is literally. So nice and terrible at the same time. On one hand, I can accomplish tasks while listening to a story!! I love stories! On the other hand I'll get totally distracted and not realize I haven't been listening for like. 30+ minutes. And then I have to scroll back thru the audiobook and figure out where I was. And I listen to audiobooks on 1.2x speed so that's even more time and just , aaaaaaa.

Bc like. I get distracted like that all the time. But when I'm listening to music it doesn't matter I'll just put my playlist on repeat and l get there eventually. But with an audiobook? Bro now I have no idea what's happening, what characters are in the scene, where the current scene is, nothing. Not a clue
