i know ive talked about it before but chat noir a scarabella from the start...
adrien and alya best friends but also consider
marinette and nino best friends
usually adrien and alya are the "calm" friends that reground marinette and nino but...
imagine just how chaotic marinette and nino are coming up with insane theories and never once glancing over twice if it could actually be possible
adrien and alya still get into whatever headspace they do but they can reground themselves and the other can just knock them back into place
anyway ill like make stuff for this just because i think this could be hilarious
adrien and alyas problems consist of:
adrien: i cant ask out marinette because she doesnt like me i think
alya: boy cut that shit out and hand her some flowers
and marinette and nino are running on 3 hours of sleep at a white board like:
nino: so adrien and alya hang out alot and sneak off together...
marinette: OH GOD YOU THINK THEY'RE DATING???
nino: YOU THINK???
#marinette and nino try to stalk them but it never works#everytime adrien tries to confess to marinette an akuma attack happens#adrien teases alya for having a crush on nino that shes not even aware if#nino tries to talk SOME sense to marinette but she makes some claim and then hes also chaotic with her#“ADRIEN AND ALYA WILL GET MARRIED AND KISS AND AND-” “dudette maybe we need to chill” “MARRIED NINO” “YOU REALLY THINK SO??”#please see my vision#miraculous#miraculous ladybug#adrien agreste#miraculous lb#mlb#ml#ladybug and chat noir#chat noir#marinette dupain cheng#nino lahiffe#alya cesaire#scarabella#au#adrinette#djwifi

What's your opinion on malewife/house husband Adrien posts? I asked this to another blog, and like I said to them, I find them a guilty pleasure: The concept is cute, but I know that would be the last thing Adrien would ever wanna be after all his dad put him through.
I don't think that it would be the last thing that Adrien would ever want. I actually think it suits his character in a lot of ways, you just have to handle the topic with care.
First let's talk about why it suits him.
Miraculous has totally failed to give Adrien any sort of career-based passion and - if we ignore the senti complication - I honestly love that for him! I want more characters with no major life ambitions to balance out the Marinettes of the world!
I think that society places way too much pressure and value on finding the perfect career that fulfills us in every way while also allowing us to put food on the table. Most people will never find that and that's okay. It doesn't mean that you've failed or that you're lesser. For most people, the goal is to find a career that pays the bills and that you enjoy enough that you don't hate doing it 40hrs/week. Along similar lines, for most people, your passion will be something that doesn't make money. It will be something like a hobby or spending time with those you love or analyzing badly written French TV shows.
This brings us back to Adrien.
Adrien seems to get a great deal of joy from being around his loved ones and making them happy, so I can absolutely picture him finding a lot of joy in running a home. This is extra true because Marinette is pretty clearly career driven and she's planning to go into a creative field, so she'll probably have a pretty crazy schedule and struggle to stay on top of it all. Having a loving husband to take things like cooking and cleaning off of her plate would be a blessing and a gift that she'd greatly appreciate, but that would feel unbalanced if Adrien was working, too. (Yes, they could hire staff, but that risks the secret identity thing, so I don't see them doing that.)
If they both have power careers, then they'd barely see each other and I hate that for them. I think that it would make Adrien incredibly sad and depressed. Plus, while Marinette thrives off of competition and staying busy, only needing occasional breaks before diving right back in, Adrien seems to hate busy schedules and heavy work loads.
Given all of that, I think that there's a lot to be said for Adrien stepping away from the working world. Especially since he's been in it for years and being a child celebrity is no joke! I think it would be nice for him to escape from strict schedules and expectations. Dinner fails? Order takeout!
While we're on the topic of food, I really like the idea of Adrien falling in love with cooking. Dude needs a creative outlet and that's honestly a great one (I hate it when people write characters as unable to figure out cooking like it's some cute quirk. While an initial struggle is believable, it's not a mystical art that takes years of practice. Between YouTube, the wider Internet, and maybe some classes if he wants to get fancy, I think that he'll be fine.) There's so much variety with what you can do in the kitchen and the end result gets to be shared and appreciated by those you love. It just seems like a perfect fit for him, but I would never make him a professional chef because the hours are insane and the pressure to be perfect is high. I only see him loving it as a hobby where he can go at his own pace, take days off, and make lazy meals when he's not feeling like being a show off.
The big concerns that come with making him a homemaker are a lack of financial independence and a lack of socialization. I don't see the first thing as an issue for Adrien since he comes from a wealthy family, so that one doesn't phase me.
The isolation could very easily be an issue, but it could just as easily be a problem if he started working, too. It's not as if a job is a sure way to have friends or even just consistent positive social interactions, which is another reason why I don't really see a need to give him a traditional job. You can get a vibrant social life in lots of other ways.
Here are the two big things that I keep in mind when writing an Adrien-as-a-homemaker or similar setup as it is where I tend to have Adrien land for all of the above reasons:
Adrien needs to be active in some organization or project. Volunteer work is a good fit as is being an active stay-at-home parent or some combination of the two. Voice acting is also on my radar, but my default is to have him act as the head of team miraculous' out-of-battle activities. Scheduling meet and greets. Going to see sick kids. Jetting around the world for humanitarian aid missions. Basically let Chat Noir be his "career" which gives him a lot of much needed flexibility for making his own schedule, especially if he's a stay-at-home parent to any eventual kids. I also like the poetic nature of Adrien finally being proud to be the face of a "brand" via his hero side while his civilian side becomes just some guy that people kind of remember from old ads.
Consider having a non-traditional living arrangement. I am a big fan of hero teams living together, so my default is to take the Agreste mansion and remodel it into a secret HQ for the team. Adrien and Marinette would have their own apartment/wing/whatever, but they'd still be surrounded by their found family on a near-daily basis, so that social isolation is the last thing on Adrien's mind. There's almost always someone to hang out with! You could also just have Alya and Nino or other friends live in the same apartment building so that they're over a lot/Adrien has a place to hang when Marinette is working late because you know that she'd do that.
Basically, Adrien's rich, so he doesn't need to make money and he doesn't seem to have any interest in a normal job, so I really like letting him having a unique life where he doesn't have a traditional job. He is a superhero, after all. Unique career paths are pretty par for the course. You just have to be careful to make sure that all of this feels like his fully informed and carefully considered choice and not like you forced it on him to make Marinette's life perfect (I only brought her up earlier because this is a story and it makes sense to design characters around each other). I usually do this by sending Adrien to therapy in his late teens or by giving him some other parth of self discovery.
Do note that all of the above is inspired by my read of Adrien which may be totally different from your read of him and that's fine! I just can't picture him as someone who thrives in a traditional career path based on knowing people who strike me as similar to him and from whom I draw my understanding of how to write that part of Adrien's character. I think that he'd be perfectly able to have a traditional career path, but I also think that he'd be pretty miserable for a lot of reasons.
I'll also note that I'm not sure what posts spawned this ask, so there may be elements of those that I'd have criticisms of. This post was about the general concept of Adrien being a homemaker. I tend to avoid the broader fandom for my own sanity and the use of the term "malewife" has me concerned that I'm implying support of something I wouldn't actually support because that's a new one for me and it sounds incredibly sexist.
I'm not a fan of implying that the default definition of "wife" is "submissive homemaker" so a man taking on a homemaking role is clearly submissive and acting like a woman does while his aggressive, domineering wife is acting like a man, which is the definition of this word that I'm finding online and yikes! Wife and husband are legal/social status in my book. They are not clearly defined jobs/roles/personality types, so I'm not a fan of using gendered terms to refer to stuff like this especially since I do actively try to use gender neutral words in my own writing whenever I can, though I'm certainly far from perfect on that front.
I also don't see homemaking as a submissive act. It certainly can be, but that's not how I picture Adrien at all! I picture him as relaxed and plesent, but 100% in charge of the home and all choices about how it's run. I also see him being in charge of their finances like homemakers often were in the "old days" since they were the ones in charge of things like scheduling cleaners, buying food, and other things that needed strong budgeting skills while the person who worked wasn't actually spending money or managing the home since they were at work. I like to think that Nathalie would prep Adrien to be a wealthy man and so he'd have strong skills in finance management.
#anon ask#Adrien analysis#How did we go from trying to remove gender roles from job titles to this?#Like at least “traditional wife” makes some sense from a historical pov#These other ones are trying to defy gender roles by leaning into gender roles and just why?#Fun fact: read the end of this post to my SO to make sure it came across okay#And as soon as I said the word “malewife” he just looked at me in horror and said “what???”#So it wasn't just a me thing!#We also had a lovely talk about the main body topic and how nice it would be if we could comfortably let one of us be a homemaker#And also how Marinette would absolutely thrive in a stressful chaotic job once she improved her time management a bit and learned to say no#Bias disclosure: my mom was/is a homemaker whose life has been similar to what I described for Adrien and she's loved it#Even though she had an extremely successful career before kids came and she gave up her traditional career#Some people really thrive in that support role and find immense joy in taking care of others#Though my mom is a total Marinette (sans anxiety) and always has tons of projects going so it's not a perfect match#She's merely one of the people I think about when I try to figure out how to give Adrien a happy fulfilling life that fits his character

I finally watched the MLB movie and GOD.
Finally some good fucking food holy shit.
Everyone was really enjoyable (Plagg was..a disappointment and the singing dragged on for too long but I really liked it)
Adrien could've done with more exploring but I really liked him being a little shit kicker, we always see him being nice, I LIKE that Adriens kind of a bastard but not so much so that it makes him unenjoyable or bad, he's still fun and still very clearly Adrien! I love my son sm.
Marinette. WAS FUN TO WATCH FOR ONCE IDC. she was adorable and her spazy moments weren't so..erratic idc (it's simply cuz I don't really like Marinette to begin with so shrug)
AHSHA ALSO CHLOE MY CHILD MY DAUGHTER I LOVE HER, she's everything to me and I love how she had beef with Marinette over a tiny droplet of coffee and Marinette snapping at her lmao.
Alyas hair could've been poofier and curlier but..sure, she's still cute and also NINO <3 MY boy has more than a few lines and his behavior towards Alya is super cute and agsg I love them sm.
QND GABRIEL??? FINALLY HE WAS FUN TO WATCH HE WAS ACTUALLY COMPETENT?? I cared about him a little more in this movie cuz he was so damn goofy (and we also got to see him..do his damn job which was a nice surprise)
(Also..the magian and the mime had no reason to be that sexy, I want them and ship them idk why..I want art of them like yesterday.)
It's just..so fun oml!!! The singing could've been replaced with more Adriens side of things but Marinette IS the MC so I can forgive that bit buut..still could've had less singing in my opinion
(Also Marinettes singing voice was a SURPRISE I saw the post but I didn't expect the actual different lmao- her voice was AMAZING but idk why they got a different va cuz it doesn't really fit her but it still kind of worked?)
#miraculous awakening#j.p speaks#adrien agreste#marinette dupain cheng#i liked this movie a LOT actually#it was chaotic goofy and absolutely nonsensical but#thats what mlb is in general so lol#but the characters were just..more enjoyable to me#mlb

Adrien was mostly like messed up because he was alone right? His father ignoring him being homeschooled blah balboa blah. So let’s remedy that.
The Graham de Vanilys are an old English family right and people used to have crazy numbers of children back in the dark ages so what if that “tradition” if you will, carried on to the present? What if Emilie and Amelie had a shit ton of siblings? Like two other sisters and three brothers so seven kids total or soemghing equally absurd? So HUGE family. Those kids go on to have kids which are Adrien’s generation and his cousins. Thus the chaos begins.
They have every dynamic you can think of. Those two want to kill eachother, those two accidentally slept with the same person, those three got arrested for arson, that one is top of their class, that one is a murder suspect, that one is the a drug dealer, that one’s a mortician for some reason, and they’ve all (mostly) got parental issues.
When I say chaos I mean chaos, there’s jealousy, there’s betrayal, there’s murder, but there’s also grief, and loyalty and so so much love. They’re family. Family is sacred to them; no matter how much they fight. Blood belongs to blood and all that.
Basically I want there to be rich people drama in a huge old English mansion.
So yeah Adrien now has a trillion cousins and do you think they leave him alone? Ever? For more that a fortnight? Hell no. Calls left and right, spontaneous visits, breaking in through his window nothing will keep him from his family, not even his father.
Once Emile dies, practically the whole family moves the the agreste manor for a while, everybody looks for her and comforts him and whatever. They do go back to their places but a few of them stay, to keep the house warm for him. It makes all the difference.
#adrien agreste#mlb txt#mlb#miraculous#miraculous ladybug#the graham de vanilys#headcannon haven#I have SO MANY more thoughts about them oh my god#please ask me about them#there’s so much space if really big families for things to go wrong and they do all the time but how about the things that go right?#it’s like I haven’t seen you in years and we’re on bad terms but how’s ur dog? are u still dating that horrible woman? will u come home?#I love when characters are so chaotic with eachother and horrible to one another but the love is there and it will be. forever

does anyone else form their headcanons of marinette and adrien largely on the basis of "they have to be opposite each other"? like, creation and destruction, yin and yang, etc. like Marinette being late all the time and sleeping through her alarms? so she's probably a deep sleeper? So that means, by the laws of my lovesquare headcanons according to my brain, Adrien has to be a light sleeper. Marinette is a chaotic creative person and I can imagine her just having so much STUFF all around and living in organized chaos. so therefore Adrien likes his spaces neat and clear. (also something something creation and clutter vs destruction and emptiness) you know??? ???? ? adrien and marinette headcanons just cant be independent of each other in my brain. they are always intrinsically linked
#not to say they have to have opposite Opinions or Values or anything. just. personality traits and quirks#the more meaningless the headcanon the mroe they have to be opposite in me brain#adrien is a morning person so marinette is not. adrien picks at his food when stressed so marinette stress eats.#adrien drinks his coffee sweet in my brain so therefore marinette drinks hers unsweetened. this is the law#marinette tosses and turns at night so adrien sleeps stiff as a board#YOU KNOW!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!? not necessarily having all the same headcanons as me but the gist of being opposites#buggachatter

Okay but can you IMAGINE if the earrings had gone to Alya like Marinette wanted them to?
Instead of having a "designated responsible hero", Scarabella and Chat Noir would just be a pair of gremlins high on life because THEY'RE SUPERHEROES OMGOSH they would spend half their time geeking out and basically exuding chaotic sibling energy the entire time.
They would reveal their identities to each other right off the bat because neither was paying attention when they were told not to, and Tikki just groans. Alya and Adrien quickly bond over being new kids at school who have superpowers, and everyone else is baffled.
Alya decides to try Clark Kenting and run the Scarablog, and Adrien is like "that's an amazing idea I'll help!" and shenanigans ensue. Marinette (who knows Alya is Scarabella since she snuck the earrings to Alya before any of this started) has befriended Alya as in canon but HASN'T told her that she knows her identity, so she gets dragged into the Scarablog staff and ends up doing most of the fieldwork and vlogging, desperately trying to do anything to cover up Scarabella's and Chat's identities (she knows Scarabella's, but doesn't know Chat's) while trying to avoid getting distracted by Adrien, who she's crushing on big time like in canon.
For his part, Adrien gets totally enamored with Marinette because Ladybug isn't there to distract him and because Scarabella is already more sibling material than lover material, but he thinks Marinette dislikes him and his brand so instead tries to woo her as Chat Noir and more shenanigans happen.
Nino, however, is low key crushing on Scarabella, and joins the Scarablog staff to try and learn more about her. Alya finds this amusing and kind of adorable, but doesn't really reciprocate for a while because she and Nino don't get locked in the zoo. She does let him investigate on his own, because she thinks pursuing the truth is a noble endeavor and in the meantime the blog can use his skills. Marinette starts silently screaming because GOSH DARNIT the identities are supposed to stay secret!
Chloe is a huge fan of Scarabella and Chat Noir. She keeps trying to force herself onto the Scarablog team… But Alya is having none of it and throws her out. Chloe engages in spying shenanigans and tries to force Sabrina onto the team in her stead, but that just results in Sabrina getting character development.
Lila shows up. Nino, desperately trying to learn more about Scarabella, falls for her lies hook line and sinker (sorry Nino, someone has to) but since Alya and Adrien both know each other's identities they see through her lies and (with Marinette) burst her bubble almost immediately. However, since Marinette actually has free time she can do her job as Class Pres and calm Lila down (a la zoe-oneesama's Scarlet Lady AU), and soon Lila shows up on the Scarablog's door offering to investigate Hawkmoth. Her main goal is fame and fortune, but eh Alya knows a good tool when she sees one. Chloe is fuming, and soon Lila gleefully engages in Spy vs Spy shenanigans with her.
Fu is like "WHOMST IS SCARABELLA" and tells Adrien that Scarabella isn't supposed to be the Ladybug wielder and Adrien briefly angsts about it but is like "who cares have you met her she's literally a great hero and that's what matters"
Fu is undeterred and keeps trying to give Marinette more miraculouses and she just keeps them in her room and doesn't use them

Dang, I wasn’t expecting this! But it makes sense; when we left Chloe in the finale, she’d just had everything stripped away from her iirc-she’d gotten in the worst trouble from her parents she’d ever been in, lost her partnership in crime in Lila(?), gotten sassed and cut deeply by Marinette who’d used her own line against her, and she was being sent away with her abusive mother (right? I’ve only seen the finale, like, once). While Chloe did deserve some comeuppance; she is a misled, abused teenager who made bad choices and (despite the way they wrote her in season 5) isn’t, like, demon spawn.
It would be so funny if she came back as the now meekest girl in the class-like, she’s just over there barely looking over her desk for shame and fear no one would even try to accept her now, and Marinette is absolutely sure she’s up to something ‘cause “this is Chloe! The day she’s actually nice is the day I eat my purse!” and when she confronts Chloe, Chloe just flinches and is like, “yes, Dupain-Cheng? Is there anything wrong?” with the biggest doe eyes she could muster. And this goes on for several episodes with even Adrien being wary, but eventually, she becomes a part of the friend group and she has to learn how to be an actual part of their whole system.
Alright, Miraculous fans; good news!
So the Miraculous website was recently updated to make the characters biographies more comprehensive, if you get what I'm trying to say.
This is the new and improved biography for Chloé Bourgeois:
Previously, the biography stated that Chloé was "a lost cause; she is a brat, and she will always be a brat"
This... is actually a breath of fresh air, as this means Miraculous themselves is FINALLY recognizing Chloé as the complex character that she actually is! This is amazing! :D
This may mean that Season 6 may be the start of show's own redemption arc, after 5 seasons of ups and downs (the downs were really painful, especially the season 5 finale), and rumors of Thomas Astruc (Chloe's #1 hater) stepping out of the driver's seat for this season. Chloé's voice actress, Selah Victor, is practically begging for a Chloé redemption arc (for real this time) in spite of the recent interviews saying that it ain't happening, but we'll have to see when it comes out. You know what they say; never say never.
I can't wait for the other Miraculous fans on YouTube to check this out the same way I did, I think it's a beautiful start to what I think could potentially be a promising season 6.
#maybe I’m just dreaming but this could be such a good twist#and we could get good interactions between Chloe and Felix ‘cause they’d both have that ‘i was a semi-villain but I’ve reformed’ thing going#but they’d still sass each other and we could have more Adrien/Felix/Chloe interactions in canon#it’d be chaotic and funny to see the family dynamic lol#miraculous ladybug#chloe bourgeois#miraculous queen bee#miraculous#adrien agreste#Queen bee

Could you write an Adrien x reader imagine where they’re forced to date by their parents to promote an upcoming fashion collaboration something, and then go from hating each other and being super fake to falling in love for real?
You know what? I postponed this ask waaaay to much. So what did I do? I sat down and took up your challenge. Go and enjoy the story you asked for but I never put the effort to make - until now e.e
warnings? no warnings apply :p
You always thought arranged dates were a relic of the past, something that only happened in old movies or distant cultures. Yet here you were, sitting across from Adrien Agreste, the face of the Agreste fashion empire.
Your parents have arranged this meeting to promote an upcoming collaboration between their brands, hoping the buzz around your "relationship" would skyrocket their sales.
Adrien looked perfect, as always—his blond hair artfully tousled, green eyes bright but distant. Always maintaining the perfect façade. Unlike you, painfully aware of every imperfection and every nervous gesture.
"Let's get one thing straight," Adrien said, breaking the silence. His voice was calm but firm. "We don’t have to like each other, but we do have to make this work."
You nodded, feeling a mix of relief and annoyance. "Agreed. Let's just get through this."
For the next hour, you both put on a show for the paparazzi lurking outside, sharing forced smiles and rehearsed lines. The whole encounter felt like a poorly scripted play, and you couldn't wait for it to end.
The next few weeks were a whirlwind of public appearances, photo shoots, and meticulously planned dates. Your parents had spared no expense in crafting the perfect narrative: two young heirs, brought together by fate and fashion. But behind the scenes, your interactions with Adrien were cold and apathetic.
One evening, after yet another tedious event, you found yourself walking alone in the Agreste mansion. The luxury of the place was suffocating, each room a reminder of the pressure you were under.
You wandered into the library, seeking solace among the rows of books.
"You like to read?" Adrien's voice startled you.
You turned to find him leaning against the doorway, a curious look on his face. "Yeah," you admitted. "It's one of the few ways I can escape."
He nodded, stepping into the room. "I get that. Sometimes I feel like my whole life is scripted. But I prefer watching anime to get some distraction." And patrolling as Chat Noir, though he wasn’t about to expose his best-kept secret to you.
For a moment, you saw a flicker of vulnerability in his eyes, and it struck a chord within. Maybe you weren't so different after all.
As the days passed, the cracks in your mutual disdain began to show. You still argued over trivial things and maintained a facade of disinterest, but there were moments—small, fleeting moments—when you glimpsed the real Adrien beneath his polished exterior.
One afternoon, you were both at a photoshoot for the collaboration campaign. The theme was a romantic picnic, complete with a vintage blanket and a basket of props. The director called for a break, and you and Adrien found yourselves alone in the park.
"Here," Adrien said, handing you a water bottle. "You look like you could use this."
"Thanks," you replied, surprised by the gesture. "I didn't expect you to be so… thoughtful."
He shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "There are a lot of things you don't know about me."
He hesitated, then said, "Like how terrible I am at cooking. I once set the kitchen on fire trying to make toast."
You laughed, picturing the usually composed Adrien in such a chaotic situation. "Seriously? Toast?"
He grinned, a little sheepishly. "Yeah, it was pretty bad. I had to call the fire department and everything. My father was not impressed."
You chuckled, the tension between you easing a bit. "Well, remind me never to let you near my kitchen."
He laughed along with you, the sound genuine and warm. "Deal. And maybe one day you can teach me how to make toast without causing a disaster."
One day, after a particularly exhausting photoshoot, Adrien and you found yourselves with a rare afternoon off. Deciding to make the most of it, you both ended up in the Agreste mansion's sprawling garden. The setting was beautiful and serene, a perfect escape from the public eye.
As you wandered through the lush greenery, admiring the flowers, you suddenly felt a cold splash of water on your neck. You turned around to see Adrien standing there, a mischievous grin on his face and a small water gun in his hand.
"Did you just...?" you began, but before you could finish, he squirted you again, laughing.
"Lighten up!" he teased. "It's just a bit of water."
You couldn't help but laugh, the unexpected prank breaking through the formality that often hung between you. "Oh, you're going to regret that!" you said, grabbing a nearby watering can and splashing him back.
What ensued was a playful water fight, with both of you dodging and splashing, laughing like carefree kids. It felt liberating to let go and just have fun, forgetting about the pressures and expectations that usually weighed you down.
Finally, drenched and out of breath, you both collapsed onto the grass, still giggling.
"Okay, I have to admit, that was pretty fun," you said, wiping water from your face.
Adrien smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "See? I knew you had it in you."
"Just don't make a habit of it," you warned playfully. "Or I might have to come up with a prank of my own."
"I'd like to see you try," he challenged, his grin widening.
As you lay there, catching your breath, you realized that this was the first time you'd seen Adrien truly relax and let his guard down. It made it more obvious that he's not just a perfect, polished model, but a real person who wants to laugh and have fun.
As the collaboration launch approached, your relationship with Adrien grew deeper. You began to spend more time together, not just for the cameras, but because you genuinely enjoyed each other's company. You talked about everything—your favourite anime, your dreams, your fears, your hopes for the future.
One day, you were both at a charity event for Adrien's school, where he introduced you to his friends. Nino, Marinette, Alya—they were welcoming and kind, and you felt a pang of envy at the close-knit group they formed.
"You're lucky to have such great friends," you said to Adrien as you watched them from a distance.
"I know," he replied, a fond smile on his face. "They keep me grounded."
"Tell me more about them," you urged.
He did, and as he spoke, you saw a different side of him—one that was caring, loyal, and deeply connected to those he loved. It made you like him even more.
The night of the collaboration launch arrived, and the event was a resounding success. The venue was abuzz with excitement, filled with influential guests, dazzling lights, and the perfect blend of glamour and sophistication. Your parents were thrilled, the media couldn't get enough, and every detail had gone off without a hitch.
After a whirlwind of interviews, photos, and obligatory mingling, you and Adrien finally managed to slip away to a quiet balcony overlooking the city. The cool night air was a welcome respite from the heat and noise inside.
"We did it," you said, raising your glass to him. The city lights reflected in your eyes, adding a sparkle that matched your mood.
"Yeah, we did," he agreed, clinking his glass with yours. His smile was genuine, not just for the cameras this time. "But I want to tell you something."
You raised an eyebrow, heart beating, curiosity piqued. "Oh? What's that?"
He took a deep breath, looking out over the city before turning back to you. "I don't want this to end. This whole thing. I know it started as a publicity stunt, but somewhere along the way, it became real for me."
Your heart skipped a beat. "I...". The sincerity in his eyes was unmistakable. "I actually feel the same way," you admitted, feeling a rush of warmth on your face.
He laughed, a light, joyful sound that made your heart flutter. "Good. Because pretending to be in love with you was starting to feel way too easy."
You blushed, a mix of relief and happiness washing over you. "So, what now?"
Adrien stepped closer, cupping your face in his hands. "Let's stop pretending and see where this takes us. For real this time."
Adrien stepped closer, his hand gently brushing a strand of hair from your face. "Now," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper, "we make this real."
Before you could respond, he leaned in, his lips capturing yours in a kiss that was both tender and passionate. The world around you faded away, leaving just the two of you in that perfect moment. You could feel the genuine emotion behind his kiss, a stark contrast to the rehearsed displays of affection you'd shown the world.
As the kiss deepened, you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. His hands found their way to your waist, holding you as if he never wanted to let go. The kiss was intoxicating, filled with all the feelings you'd both been holding back.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and smiling, Adrien rested his forehead against yours. "I've wanted to do that for so long," he confessed, his voice full of warmth.
"Me too," you replied, feeling a flutter of joy.
The pressures of your parents and the fashion world still loomed, but they felt more manageable with Adrien by your side.
