she tried her very best not to get on sns during this whole era because she knew people would be upset that she was the only girl in an all boy group

the older members tried to shield her from it as much as they could but sometimes it couldn’t be helped

however she did have some fans! she had three fansites from the start which made her glad bc she didn't want to be embarrassed and not have any ... unlike the others DLDFN

but nct dream and red velvet's promotions clashed this era!! she got to see her red velvet unnies more which was probably the most excited nctzens had seen her yet

red velvet made her sing some of russian roulette btw

fans went crazy bc they knew she was supposed to debut in red velvet

she also got to meet blackpink!! her and nari became really close despite the age difference, she also really liked jennie but overall she just really enjoyed their presence

and none of them judged her for being in a group full of boys 😌

when exo won first place during lotto louder and made nct stay on stage😭

oh she was so red she couldnt help it she was the biggest exol

she tried to stay away from lay, kai and chanyeol aka her biases 💀 and then she’d get to the other members and panic cause lbr … so she went and hid behind doyoung lol

overall she was just very glad to be debuting finally but she wasn't happy about how fans were treating her

and her voice actually did fit in well with the boys, too

thats why they put her in nct dream

ngl although she knew, deep down in her heart she deserved to be there and that she was put in dream for a reason, she was still a 16 year old girl who was hurt at the insults hurled at her

so of course the hate got to her

debut was not really kind to her honestly

but she always almost always had her members by her side!! <3

EXO "Lucky One" theory!

The mv is heavily lore-based as we know. Okay I'll try my best to point out clues I found were significant.

𝐓hey are being taken by the nurses in red visors (unmistakeably agents of RF) on stretchers to a unit. The boys are bound and show resistance. Some of them have very prominent dark blue eyes presumably after being drugged:

(their visuals shine even in poor quality of the video — tf sm doing bare minimum for our boys)

Suho said that the members lose their powers in Lucky One. The make-up and overall look exos have in the mv signifies how they're being experimented on with the color drained from their cheeks. also EXO being glass skin ambassadors in this vid

They have been kidnapped and have lost their powers. (I read this somewhere that Exo came on TV in the June ep of Music Video Bank and explained the main story of Lucky One; Baekhyun emphasized on while the other members use their powers, Kai dances when he is cornered 😭😭).

•We see Lay's dream - since his eye is in focus — how the members use their powers but I think Kai is unable to first see where he wants to teleport since that's how this stuff works.

•Kyungsoo sees Lay being carried out of the room and he uses his power - Force to shatter the glass panes. This might be an action which made them realise the danger they were in and make their escape. He is unmoved and appears with a blank expression most of the time (so do the others).

In the end he seemingly makes it out but we see how he has reached the centre of the maze very similar to Overdose mv. The agents are tracking the boys and only Kyunsoo's location doesn't glow??! We have 12 lines that might mean he tricked the RF.

It is important to mention that I think Overdose is probably the sequel to Lucky One. I also find it interesting how kyungsoo is the only one who is alone obviously they're 9 but why is it always HIM? I have thought about making a separate post on how Kyungsoo interacts in the mvs and his role in the story.

•Another clue we get at the end is that the hues change and appear similar to the aesthetic of 'Kokobop'. The same colors appear when Baekhyun is drugged.

This is one clue that Ko ko bop happens after Lucky One! The second clue I found is the drug the nurses inject in Baekhyun (and probably everyone else). In Kokobop also the members appear dazed and sleep in weird places, they are drugged and imagining stuff like giant burgers.

•Ohkay so our H2O buddies Suho and Xiumin are seen trapped in white chambers.

But we have to remember it's all in BnW. And they are the ones who combined their powers to make 🧊 and glasses (Xiumin) of water (Suho) for themselves, maybe to overcome the effects of the drugs

Oh! I just found out how they were the ones banging on the walls of the Overdose maze in the mv!! They are also known as counterparts in the lore. So this similarity and interaction is definitely not a coincidence. It's interesting how their role is significant in the overall concept they have and maybe I'll talk about them separately in a different post!

Now I want to mention some ~clues~ which I don't have much interpretations for, at least yet:

We see how Baekhyun encourages(?) Chanyeol to use his powers — as they enter a room — while he himself is not shown to use his in the mv.

Lastly I wanna mention, because I can't think anymore my brain is clouded with so much info & finding clues; is that Chanyeol's Red hair (he looks fire oml) is not just an aesthetic but matches the concept. In a way it explains his role in Power and Obsession (I'll try to explain some other things in another post!) Also, shoutout to @faakeid on Mind Dissociation theory!

Hey! So sorry for the late reply, I went on holiday for a week with my friends and the signal was so bad with barely any wifi, and then I came home and had to go back to work instantly!

I definitely need to update my page haha, I haven't done circus since i was like 21 (i'm 26 now) but it was a huge part of my life, I did it from the ages of like 12 - 21 and even moved to Tasmania at one point to work at a circus over there. Nowadays, I still sing a lot but haven't filmed any singing vids forever, I mostly just write fanfic as my main hobby at the moment haha, I have 3 jobs so it's kinda hard to find time for hobbies outside of consuming kpop content!

I thought call me baby was my first era but I literally just realised yesterday that I also became an exo-l in 2016 so monster was my first era with them too! I was like obsessed with exo from the moment i saw them for the first time haha

I love Yixing so so much, I miss his interactions with exo so much all the time, he's the sweetest lil bean! Omg i love that you were able to stick with Junmyeon, he's the best! I pretty much never stick with the same bias that i have when i first discover a group, like i'll be bias wrecked and then the person who bias wrecked me will stay as my bias for good, like with seventeen i thought i was Joshua biased when i discovered seventeen and then Jihoon just whisked me away haha. OMG Kyungsoo at the moment needs to just stop, I can't handle it haha.

I got into seventeen after exo and was definitely more seventeen focused for a bit but I always came back to Exo! Jihoon is very introverted which I really relate to so I think that's what made me gravitate towards him, plus he's just really cute and soft whilst simultaneously being a huge grump and i just love those vibes haha. He's also super talented, like his singing voice is gorgeous and hes basically produced like all of seventeen's songs! I get that haha, I find that watching their reality showing going seventeen really helped with getting to know them! My favourite seventeen song is actually a song by just 3 of the members and ailee called Q&A, it's so good, i highly recommend checking it out! I love like so many exo songs but Unfair always seems to stick as my fave, i just love the vibe of it so much!
