obsessed with the idea that xalatath is using the champions of azeroth to get rid of people she doesn’t need anymore. at least someone understands the gravity of being against us instead of terminally underestimating us like every other “foolish mortals” villain
#i could be reading into her wrong but she seems smart enough to realize things#i mean she doesn’t *respect* the champions of azeroth or think they can defeat her#but still acknowledges our power#i hope she’s the final raid boss of this whole 3 expansion saga so we get as much time with her as possible

If we get no reaction from Med about what seemingly happens in TWW I’m gonna be..not at all surprised bc blizzard but annoyed
#wow blogging#I want him screaming crying throwing up but alas#…what if he resurrects Khadgar like Aegwynn did him#It would destroy me#concept: he shows up in TWW and is like ‘yeah this ain’t it champion we’re bringing him back’#and then proceeds to put you threw absolute hell to bring him back in a questline#we thought the wod legendary Khadgar quest was rough?#through*#something something it’s not khadgar’s time yet and azeroth needs her guardian#(khadgar yelling in the distance: I AM NOT THE GUARDIAN)#don’t mind me just spit balling and trying to find a way to cope with my inevitable heartbreak#tww spoilers

every time i see a player with the 'azeroth's champion' title... all i can think is 'damn they didnt have a life in BfA. neat'
#lmao#titles are meh to me tbh#like there are some pretty cool titles ive missed out on sadly#but they arent as coveted as mounts#unless it's like grand crusader#THAT is a rare title#azeroth's champion is showing off how much you SWEAT in bfa.#like you were a sweatlord playing that expansion getting that title#i have respect for you but jesus christ you have to be a little insane to even try that one#you had to do pvp and pve content to get all the rank 4 essences. you had to get RATING#let that sink in#you also had to raid i think. pretty sure#it was an insane achievement. obvs i didnt try because even when i was unemployed i couldnt no life the game like that#i dont do raiding or m+ or even rated so. Your oc maybe sure but shumfuck champion of azeroth? Dude everyone has tried to kill me. I got man and beast and god after my dick. You're not special. You're barely remarkable.

If your mother was gone, would you still pursue keeping your family legacy alive? Or would you let it die and pursue a different path?
Amber eyes widened in hysteric shock as a whisper grazed his ears. His jaw dropped as he found the breath stolen from his lungs at that moment. His stomach bottomed out as he felt an utter sickness beginning to claim his confidence. And then, that memory played back in his mind that squeezed on his heart.
Weeks had passed since his father’s death on the front of Arathi. Called upon by Lady Liadrin, Valanath Sunscorn came two to two with the Alliance forces and their own paladins. An unfortunate circumstance considering he had fought alongside a few of these gentlemen in the war against the Legion. The Battle for Azeroth had shed blood and souls that were unnecessary all to support the machinations of some twisted mastermind. But this wasn’t the tale of a universal scheme. No, this was the tale of the loss of a father, a husband, and an honorable knight.
Veronath recollected running in haste as he always had. With every war, his father always marched amongst the living with a smile on his features, even in the most solemn of losses. From youth, all the way to his full-fledged adulthood, Veronath was always proud to see his father return home. To the arms of his mother and the fireplace within their hearth. His heart thudded with intensity, adrenalized by the stories he would share about the Battle of Arathi.
“ Minn’da! “He shouted, picking his auburn-haired mother out of the crowd with ease. He shuffled between people, placing his calloused hands upon her shoulder. Mere moments ago, he had been training his use of the blade in practice for his promotion from Adept. “ Minn’da. Did I miss it? I’m so sorry… I hope that I’m not too late. “He couldn’t help but feel by the anxious stare she possessed that he may have done just that.
“No, no son. He… he’s not here. Or at least, he’s not in formation. “Her voice flowed with a gentleness that was only enunciated by the worry of a beloved wife. Veilora had been known for her kindness. However, out of all the Knight Champions in line, Valanath’s smile was nowhere to be seen. Her eyes desperately darted to find a single sign of him. Just one sign.
Unfortunately, much to Veronath’s own gaze, he couldn’t even place his father amongst the injured caravans. Even his own heart began to sink. His grasp on his mother tightened as the line of people began to reach its ending. And with it, carriers of the deceased followed. And with it, mother and son would see the first sign of Valanath: His broadsword that no longer emanated with runes of flame. For this day, his fire had burned out.
Veilora’s entire body trembled as she witnessed the passing, immediately pulling herself from her son’s comfort. All the woman continued to do in the back of her mind was shout -No!- repetitively to herself. Her dress became wrinkled and unkempt. Heels desperately clicking across cobblestone. She couldn’t even hear her own son shouting at him as he tried his damndest to keep up with her. And by the time he made it through the archways that lead to the medical chambers, he starred in the exact same expression we see him in now. Shocked and riddled with anxiety that tore at his insides. The sight of seeing his mother’s face buried into the torso of his father’s was agonizing. Her manicured nails dug into the sheets that covered the rest of his form. And despite the blood-stained features and wily mess of golden-blonde hair, Valanath still managed to return to them with a smile on his features.
“M-my S-S-Sunshine… My s-sweet... Nooo… Nooooo! “ Veilora wept, tightly clutching to the lifeless body. Her make now runs blackened ink across her dusted features. In her eyes, her own heart was beginning to die with him. The world around her begins to shatter. And all Veronath could do was fall to his knees and allow his own mother to mourn, shedding tears for what was the end of his wonderful father and the beginning of his mother’s own turmoil.
After a week of dealing with the arrangements and funeral services. Veronath noticed that his mother had become distant. And every chance he got, he tried his best to pull her out of that miserable pit. But without her husband at her bedside, she no longer knew of the rest of an easy mind. No. All she could concentrate on was the warmth she would no longer feel in his arms and this will be carried out for their son, Veronath. A will in the form of a parchment that she would give to her son that day.

Veronath's memories began to fade, remembering his own mother's words to follow that he must honor the wishes of his father. Not only for his father's honor and belief in him, but for his mother's own heart that dangled on the edges of despair every day.
Tears streamed down his cheeks. Reaching now to wipe them away in recollection of himself now. His fiery brows knitted together as he pensively pushed through that anxiety and fortified his confidence with passion. " Someday, my mother will be reunited with that Ann'da. But mark my words, even if someone took her away from me now, I would not falter from my path. To do so would be a grievous wound to my parents' hearts. "
He slammed a balled fist against the epicenter of his broad chest, creating a hollowed thud. His lips twisting into smile that was filled with determination and absolution. " There is no greater honor than making one's wonderful parents proud! So, whisper in the dark, I hope you are satisfied with the answer I have given you! Otherwise, have a pleasant evening and don't let the door hit you on the way out! " And once more, he winked at them.

Chapter 22 | Polestar
In which, for better or worse, the champions of Azeroth have always been the ones to shape her future.
Or: Prominent named lore characters actually contributing anything of value in a raid instance would be wildly out of character.

OC ask Ihz 1,2, 6, 11,13,15!
Does your OC have a voice claim, if so who?
She doesn't! Outside of, you know. Not Whoever Blizzard Normally Gets To Do Troll Voices, Yikes TM.
If she WERE voiced, it would be by someone with a low, raspy voice, using their natural accent.
Who's your OCs best friend? How did they become best friends?
Thorn, she bought him off his abusive owner ;)
Outside of her animals, honestly, Ihz's best friend is her cousin Vazkri. They grew up together--Vaz is just enough older that they weren't really peers or playmates, but they're similar enough in age that they became close friends as adults. They have wildly divergent personalities, and very different lives; but they trust each other implicitly and will always turn to one another first in a crisis.
If your OC is in a fantasy setting, what profession would they be in the modern day?
Either a farrier or, like, an owner-operator long-haul trucker who drives with her rescue pit bull in the passenger seat (and has spent a small fortune on custom safety harnesses for him).
Modern AU Ihz known mostly for responding to supervisors trying to throw their weight around by letting them scream themselves lightheaded and then going "I'm a Teamster." and then continuing to do things the safe way.
(She has Beverly on speed dial.)
What was your inspiration for your OC?
I wanted to play An NPC (TM), both for fun and also because I'd had the thought that it might MASSIVELY improve immersion if I had a character who had a REASON to go on, and be approached for, fetch quests.
Hence: IHZ! It's not annoying or immersion-breaking for her to be sent on stupid fetch quests while the world ends, because she's not An Adventuring Champion who could be doing something better with her time. The fetch quests ARE her job, and the plot that keeps happening to her is the unwanted interruption.
It also really just...enhances the experience, honestly, when you play a mid-rank character. I think most MMOs would be significantly stronger, narratively, if they would lean into that--you're clearly NOT Azeroth's Greatest Goddamn Champion because there are a bajillion of us, so why treat it that way? You can have your power fantasy without being Azeroth's most special little princess man. Rinda, Talet-and-Vel, Vaz, Levaden, Ihz--they feel like PART of the world, not the artificial center, which is why it's so easy for me to slot them into fic.
So, yeah! Ihz is there because I wanted a character who could interact with the plot from a very specific perspective, without feeling jarringly artificial, and where sidequests would feel more organic and compelling. And I got her!
Does your OC have a rival? How did it start?
Uh, I think her primary rival is [checks notes] Garrosh Hellscream??? This would be news to him, as he was completely unaware she existed at any point.
Ihz's true interpersonal rival is whoever wrote the regulations on approved tack choices for the Horde military.
Will your OC ever retire? Do you see them making it?
In order to answer that question, Blizzard would have to have any kind of coherent presentation of trollish lifespans at all.
I think Ihz will always have SOMETHING she's doing to keep herself busy. If she gets to the point where she can't physically do the mail route anymore she'll pivot--really WILL become a farrier (not exactly a physically undemanding job, but the physical requirements are different) or a stablemaster or a horse tamer or a warg trainer or something. Raise dogs in the Barrens.
There's no reason she won't make it. If she doesn't, though, it'll be because she called the wrong bluff. Though, knowing Ihz--she wouldn't call it a mistake. She's only that bold when there's someone she's protecting, so she'd know the risks and decide she had to try.

Tell us a little about what Kirollis has been up to! Has he pulled back from the world entirely to relax, or has some duty or fascination in the world captured his interests?
He’s busy braiding hair
Nah, but seriously I just don’t really play him as much anymore so he fell to the wayside. I’m kind of monogamous with who like my main is at any given time. Soriya also does pretty well as a fun replacement since they’re similar in some ways but very different.
That being said, I guess to really slap an IC approximation Kirollis is more or less just enjoying his retirement. He took up beekeeping. Content with his life he’s okay with being shelved, for once, because let’s be real anything I write would fuck up his QoL.
It’s not that he doesn’t have direction or anything like that, I think he’s more just situated as an old head more than an active participant in world events. Sure, TWW does bring up his wheelhouse, and he has/is investigating the voids movements, Beledars existence and meaning, and the World Soul itself and its purpose in Azeroths cosmos. But instead of being the boots on the ground he just kind of does his thing and delegates the action to younger heroes. He’s still pretty valuable given his experience and self-proclaimed moniker of Titan Champion. But I can’t stress enough that when I actually write this it’s more just a cameo in someone else’s story so he can do an exposition dump and or advise on the current crisis.
While keeping Soriya out of trouble is basically a full time job, he does make appearances when she’s in genuine danger or when she asks him to. Though he tends to take a hands off approach since the entire reason Soriya hangs around Stormwind is to get away from his shadow. So he basically just sits and worries and occasionally does some snooping.
That’s really it. Homie put his time in, it’s time to let the kids go to work.
Thanks @safrona-shadowsun !

Dear Blizzard,
I said this as a joke before, but I think it has potential--could you please make the NPCs in capital cities romanceable, like in Baldur's Gate?
No, I'm serious! And it doesn't have to be romantic as a rule. Let's increase player presence in the big cities. We could grind rep off these profession trainers and vendors for things like the Ruby Feast cosmetic buffs that give you top hats, or little pets that ride on your shoulder for a day. Or these giant bongo drums that I once saw a vulpera wearing on his back? Stuff like that!
The NPC wants us to run an errand, or collect a thing? Steal from the other hunter trainer, settle a bet, park their mount after insulting us like that scene in The Fall Guy, or listen to their god-awful life story? We'd do any of that for a 24-hour fur boa mog. Or a buff with flavor text saying we chipped a tooth on ancient candy. My 10k-years-young Night Elf loved that last expac.
Maybe a few of them flirt with us too, I dunno. The more we click yes, that we like them back, the happier they are to see us the next time around. We could go on these adorable picnic dates in Valshara or to the Darkmoon Faire. Like if they mention they are bored and we bring them ride tickets? That boredom prompt could be open-ended with lots of options for dates. I can't wait to see what bringing Master Apothecary Faranell a pickled murloc head does! We could even be the third wheel when Mankirk finally pops the question to his new wife, over kodo steaks. Cause he was too nervous to do it without us.
At the highest reputation level with these guys, maybe our best friend NPC shows up unexpectedly in the new expac main city. They're standing next to our new profession trainer and want to put in a good word for us. Maybe that's +2 profession knowledge a week--thank you very much, Jhordi Lapforge! That'll keep me a step ahead of other crafters, or help me level up, but not break the system.
Or, it's sorta funny and awkward when they flag us down in the Dornogal inn, shouting our name. We buy them some food and drinks from the innkeeper to get them calm, and we eventually help them buy an apartment in the city. Get them settled with a new workshop that only we can see. Or, if other players can see how we helped them and they brag about our special friendship, even better!
These NPCs could also give or receive gold, goofy gray-grade items, and even instacart some special food from random expacs like Orgri'la chicken tendies. How else can you deal with a sudden craving! Best friends go on munchies runs for each other.
If you want to give them an actual story arc and let some of them become obsessed with us, then fine. Of course they would! We're the champions of friggin Azeroth and it's about time we had our own fanclub.
If I get chased down the streets of Dornogal at least once by Gravy about my bar tab back at the Wyvern's Tail, you will make my Horde life.
All I'm sayin--This could be Real World World of Warcraft. Your choice.
Your friend,
Trixany Cuomo

How does the wife feel about the possibility of a succubus servant? (Or incubus, maybe that’s your preference! Better yet maybe that’s hers~)
"I am grateful she understands the importance of someone of my skillset and means among the roster of heroes and champions of Azeroth." "However...when it comes to the attentions of my various bound sayaads...I believe she tend to tolerate the seething jealously of Vilynn to modest minimum of once per day, and then after it's met with violence. As the one most...keen on joining us on more then adventures. I once had the displeasure of seeing Miraith and her interrogate a Cult of the Damned holdout for an hour. It was unsettling seeing how well they co-operated. Elerevere despite their bluntness and forceful personality functions fine with them. As I recall, Elerevere and Tyleinth have a running tab over who can make Rokmostu fumble at the card table the most times." "And given that idiotic meatheaded himbo is more focused on trying to peep on us in the shower as he is running the day to day operations of the Au-bound, Ty has laid him back into the Nether about as many times as I have." "Poor choice of words. Laid out as in with her hands." "Fuck. Pain. Damnit. The Light. Killed him to death with the Light." "You know what, dumb question. This audience is over."
@tyleinth for mention.

20 Questions for (Fanfiction) Writers
Tagged by @songofamazon. Here we go XD
How many works do you have on ao3?
Five. I'm not as prolific as I used to be ^^;;;
2. What’s your total ao3 word count?
328,546. Dang, not bad!
3. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Well since I only HAVE five, I'll list them by order :D
A Promise Not Forsaken: (World of Warcraft) Everyone says healers can't be fighters. Priestess Isoldera Ambershield disagrees. Four years after the destruction of Quel'thalas and loss of her family, she takes her first steps into Azeroth to become a battle healer and Champion of the Horde.
Toward the Dawn: (World of Warcraft) When the Lich King first invaded Quel'Thalas, Isoldera Ambershield failed to protect her home and the people she loved. Now, he stirs once more on his Frozen Throne and Izzy knows she must break free of her past self and achieve new heights to defeat him…even if it means her death.
Step Into the Light: (FFXIV) Maralina Qesir has lived her entire life in silence out of respect for her father and the great love between her parents. Rejected by his people, she journeys to the foreign lands of Eorzea in the hope to build a new life for herself. However, a language barrier isn't the only thing in Mara's way and as she faces down primals, Ascians, and Garleans, a new legend begins for the Warrior of Light.
Cold Hands, Warm Arms: (FFXIV) An afternoon of research becomes more intimate after a freak snowstorm and lack of teleportation options strand Thancred Waters and G'raha Tia together in the Crystal Tower.
Queens Take Royals: (World of Warcraft) When Izzy Ambershield drops in on Varian Wrynn, she doesn't know Omellas Bloodforged has come to see her lover, Anduin Wrynn, until they stumble into the same area where Izzy introduces Varian to a new sort of sexual delight.
4. What fandoms do you write for?
World of Warcraft is my primary right now, followed closely by FFXIV. I also dabble in Sailor Moon, but I haven't actually posted any of my SM ficcage in years. Maybe someday soon...I also used to (USED TO) write Harry Potter fanfics.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
^^ I like to thank people for taking the time to write one. Even if it's just a word or a sentence, it's still something they made an effort to do and I appreciate it muchly.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It hasn't been written yet, but definitely the Shadowlands era of my WoW fic.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I'd say Cold Hands. It's all fluff and has a good feeling of contentment, friendship, and growing affection at the end. No looming wars or anything XD
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not a lotta. I tend to delete those comments >.>
9. Do you write smut?
Queens Take Royals is straight up smut, hehe :D I write a lot of it, but haven't posted it yet. Been debating on starting a small, side story just for smut....we'll see.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Nope. Well, kinda? It's still up in the air. Cause part of me really wants to crossover my WoW and FF fics because there are sooooo many possibilities (and I've even written a small tumblr snippet New-Old Souls based on the idea a few years ago.)
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Again: not to my knowledge XD
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Yup! It's never been posted (and never will be) because it's between an IRL friend and me ^^
14. What’s your all time favourite ship?
For my OCS? Definitely Izzy/Sylvanas and Izzy/Varian. They're oh-so-complicated for all the best reasons.
For Sylvanas and Izzy, their relationship is built on time. They had 40 years together before the Fall of Silvermoon, and most of it was spent long-distance. Sylvanas had other lovers (Nathanos and Jaina in my fic) and Izzy had her playmates (she very much loves frequenting her cousin's brothel) yet they always came back to each other. Both of them worked hard to keep the feelings alive through letters, clandestine visits (on Izzy's part since her mother was a controlling bitch), communication, and trust. It's why in Promise, Izzy's so determined to keep her word to Sylvanas. While Sylvanas tests Izzy's commitment constantly, something Izzy finds exasperating, she does her best to accommodate. Likewise, Izzy's emotional reactions as one of the living (and cause it's Izzy's personality) confuse and annoy Sylvanas, yet she deals with it because it's part of who Izzy is.
Varian and Izzy's relationship started with a spark that eventually became a bonfire. They met once and had an instant connection that Izzy kept alive through letters while Varian came to see the night they met as a touchstone of safety. Of course, things got more complicated after that. Izzy had to tread carefully both because of Sylvanas and the risk of being branded a traitor to the Horde. Varian also had to keep his distance both because of his position as High King and because of the history between the Alliance and sin'dorei. Being on opposite sides of a never ending war did nothing to smother their flame, though. If anything, it made each time they met more emotionally charged, forbidden, and intense. Izzy's compassion and empathy challenge Varian's view of the world as whole, while his strength of spirit and conviction are safe harbor in the storm of Izzy's emotions.
15. What’s the wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Uh.......it's not so much a wip as a "sip" (series in progress) and it goes for both Mara and Izzy's stories. I want to keep following both through the respective expansions and changes in the games, but considering how slow a writer I've become, I dunno if that's gonna happen XD
16. What are your writing strengths?
Fight scenes. I dunno why or how, but I've become really damn good at writing fights, whether it's all-out war between two armies or a more personal one-on-one duel. In fact, a lot of my more memorable comments are about scenes like the Wrathgate or the battle on the Steps of Faith. Of course, they're some of the hardest to plan, especially for the large-scale battles, but oh-so-satisfying when they hit just right.
I also like to think I handle dialogue well. I've gotten used to that trick of actually voicing my writing out loud to see if it makes sense to my ears. Add in the character voice, the genre I'm writing, and what the character's saying, I then make adjustments if I think it's too formal, too stiff, etc.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I struggle just to get through the moment-to-moment minutiae. Like, I know Point A and I know Point F, but getting through B-E is a freaking pain in the neck. Especially if I know Point F is going to be one of those scenes I've just been dying to write for a long time.
I repeat sentences/phrases a lot. Like, "nodded" or "tilted their head" or "raised a brow," that sort of thing. I've gotten better at spotting them...for the most part XD
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
Not unless I'm familiar with the language, it makes sense for the character, and it's a part of the story.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Sailor Moon!
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
Right now, Toward the Dawn is prolly my favorite. It's my most recent, yes, but compared to Promise, and even the early stages of SitL, I see how much I've grown as a writer. The descriptions are more vivid, the dialogue punchy, my characterization's deeper, and I just overall like it more, haha.
As for tagging...@sheyshen, @grimlins-chaos, @thezeigal, and @awryen-nyx. Play if you will, or not, I won't force ya :D

Character Info for the WoW x Ninjago AU!!!
Cole: Half-Human Half-Dwarf. (Yes it's because Dwarves... Earth...and also because of Magni, and me comparing DR!Cole to Magni Every time I turn around) Lou is human, Lilly is a Dwarf (Aaaand maybe a bit more than that) He is a Shaman, joined the Earthen Ring pretty young, since they realized "Oh hey this is Lilly's son!" Therazane took one look at him after Lilly died and said "Yep, gotta watch this one." (The Elemental Lords are A Tiny Bit Different in this AU, but not too different.) Sent by Therazane back up to Azeroth (He found his way into Deepholm when he ran away from home.) to train under Wu. Cole also has a Earth Elemental that just pops up whenever it wants to. Mostly just keeps an eye on him and makes sure he's alive. Said Earth Elemental normally hangs around Lou, as Therazane doesn't believe he can protect himself. He is 15 in the beginning of this story, and The Oldest (TM) until he isn't.
Kai: Kultiran Human Fire Mage/Warrior Multiclass A Blacksmith, up until the day his sister was taken by a roaming band of Scourge *A squad that is detatched from the others, and operates under Different Orders, not controlled by the Lich King* on the command of Garmadon, the Earth Warder. After this, he becomes desperate to get Nya back, which Ragnaros takes advantage of. Ragnaros, knowing that Kai may not respond positively seeing a fire elemental just showing up randomly, sends a bounty hunter after him, with strict instructions, in which 'don't let him know what you are, and don't hurt him, I NEED him.' the Bounty Hunter was unprepared for Kai trying to attack him on sight. When Kai arrives in the Firelands, extremely confused, yet mostly unharmed, Ragnaros spins a tale against Neptulon, as he knows that he is the one who has his sister, Nya. Ragnaros also hangs information about their parents over Kai's head, and how they betrayed Azeroth, leading to Kai's Early resentment over the two. He is soon sent to Wu, he is sent to Wu because Ragnaros knows he will not harm him, and he wants Kai to become more powerful- and Wudormu can do just that. He is 14 in the beginning.
Jay: A Human boy who lived peacefully in the Sea of Sand *Also known as Tanaris* with his parents until Al'Akir noticed his presence. Al'Akir took great interest in his blooming connection with lightning. Jay is a Shaman/Monk/Rogue Multiclass *The only Shaman move he really has is Lightning itself, and he uses it in the other two classes moves.* When Al'Akir noticed that Jay wasn't really willing to just up and leave his parents alone in the middle of the desert. He wasn't really worried about their safety, per say, as he knew from a young age that the Bronze were keeping an eye on them from their home that was east of them, he was just content on staying with his parents. Seeing this, Al'Akir sent his minions to kidnap Ed and Edna, trapping them in Uldum. With Jay willing to do anything to make sure his parents are safe, he agrees to do whatever Al'Akir wants him to do. He sends him to Wu as a spy, much like Kai, as he knows he is gathering the other elemental champions. He doesn't want to mess up and get his parents killed, so he's a LOT more standoffish and awkward in the beginning than in canon (dont worry though the Real Jay will shine in soon!) He is the youngest of the four, being 13 when the story begins.
Zane: He is a ????????? Neptulon wasn't very sure what he was when he found Zane. Zane is a Frost Mage/Rogue Multiclass. Neptulon could sense he had a great ice power within him, and he looked *Very* Human, but something was off with him, like someone was hiding something- from everyone including Zane. Zane was wandering around in Northrend, helping protect villages from the scourge. One day, the Lich King himself *Not Arthas in this AU* shows up in a battle- and Zane, worried that he will attack the civilans, goes after him alone. Now of course he couldn't take him on, especially by himself. He ends up getting thrown off a cliff into the ocean. A Water Elemental finds Zane, who is very hurt, though confused on why he had not drowned yet. When he wakes up, he is in Vash'jr, in Neptulon's domain. After he recovers, Neptulon gives him a choice on whether to go back to Northrend, or to follow him. Zane, feeling a strange connection to the elementals decides to stay. He makes quick friends with Nya as well. He is sent to Wu for training, and is 14(????) when the story begins.
Nya: When the Scourge kidnapped her, she was quickly rescued by a few water elementals. Thankfully, the Scourge group weren't trained very well and took no time to run off. Nya is a Frost Mage/Warrior Multiclass. She follows the elementals back to Vash'jr, wanting to learn more about Why she was kidnapped, and why they saved her. Neptulon decides to train her against naga and teaches her more about controlling water straight away, though since it requires her to Go With The Flow, she tends to stick with being a Samarai of sorts. She is sent to Wu, but does not make it there at first. She finds a thread on Garmadon and the Scourge and she takes off to learn Why she was taken. Neptulon allowed her to find her own way, knowing it will take her back to Wu anyway. She is 13 in the start.

August DWC 2024 Day 7 - Enigma
“When are you going to retire?” Glowing, golden eyes raised, a mischievous grin tugging at Daxion’s lips. This has been a question Talon’s son had been asking him prior to every campaign that had been fought on Azeroth. Of course, nothing much had started nor was official just yet, but both Daxion and Talonoa knew this feeling well enough. Daxion now a Champion within the Blood Knights and Talonoa a Retired Commander of the Argent Crusade, the two had seen enough war between them to fuel a few lifetimes.
“At this rate? Never.” Talon’s icy gaze flashed with both amusement and truth, Daxion wasn’t as amused. Talonoa had become something of an enigma over the past decade and a half after his encounters with Gaebral. While his heart still beat and his skin still flushed with color, the remainder of him had taken on the properties of a Death Knight, or something similar. There was no need to sleep, to eat or drink, nor to rest in general. He had become limitless and not governed by the laws of the living. It was a boon, for now, but eventually Death would catch up to him.
Few people knew about his ‘situation’, but Daxion was one of them and didn’t always appreciate his jokes. “I suppose when I finally retire myself I can just come to you, hmm? Old habits do die hard.”
“You should start that family you’ve been talking about. With Eliesa? That was her name, right? She seemed like a nice woman.” The thought of becoming a grandfather was not a bad one, as the ship had probably sailed on him becoming a father again.
“Yeah, well, she broke up with me. You know the drill. Too busy, too work oriented. It’s true, I am. It’s hard to put someone else first when the world is consistently at war.” Daxion shrugged, he had gone through a handful of relationships over the years since Talon had finally met him. This wasn’t surprising.
“Seems as if we’ll have our hands full very soon anyways. Promise me you’ll keep me updated?” Despite not being aware of each other until only about a decade ago, the two had formed a tight bond, especially being each other’s only remaining family.
“Of course. You as well. Be safe and Light guide.” The Light was certainly no longer a part of Talon’s life, but it was a habit to say.
The two embraced before Daxion departed for Dalaran to meet up with the other Blood Knights to aid in the radiant echoes. It didn’t sit well with Talon, having his only family in a place that was ripe with rumors and bad vibes. There was a reason why he wasn’t having his mercenary crew gather in the floating city to be on call just in case they were needed within the echoes. Talon had learned a long time ago to trust his gut, and it was telling him to stay very, very far away from that city.
