{overview} your pack comes backâŠ. it's not a happy ending for everyone though

Chapter 17 <- Chapter 18 -> Chapter 19
Today was the first day you had nothing planned. Just you and your thoughts. You slept in till noon until you decided to get up and make some pancakes. The boys had fully stocked all of your favorite things before they left. You had no business being in the cafeteria without them- Johnny's words, not yours.
It was kinda nice actually. Youâre not sure if you've ever had a full day to yourself your whole life. You dragged your desk chair outside on the patio to eat your pancakes. You even made friends with a pigeon. When you went back inside you decided to look up yoga tutorials on TV. Couldn't hurt to be flexible, could it?
It was a new feeling of freedom. You didn't have to worry about any housemate or watch yourself to make sure you weren't a disturbance. You could play music and sing as loud as you wanted. You could learn a new dance. Try a new recipe. Or you could just sleep all day and no one would be able to judge you.
You decided on a bubble bath.
It was that time of night again. Choosing between who's room you wanted to crash in. Your eyes darted back and forth between Kyle and Johnnyâs room. Yet there was a tingling sensation at the base of your neck at the thought of Johnâs room. He never gave you explicit permission and you had never slept in there before.
But he doesn't seem like the type to get mad at you for that. Maybe in two days, your scent will wear off and he won't even notice you slept in it. You were on high alert like a bandit about to be caught. Your knees nearly crumbled as you opened the door to his room. His scent permeated into every surface, your eyes lulling closed. You shook yourself awake, making your way over to his bed. There was a jitteriness about you, the flesh under your skin buzzing. Something wasn't right. It wasn't cozy enough. You huffed back to your room grabbing pillows and an extra blanket, getting to work.
You kept John's pillows against the headboard and added one of yours to the side of the bed against the wall and one on the other side so you would be cocooned in the middle. His blanket and top sheet were pulled tightly against the bed and you tried your hardest to climb in without disrupting them. You folded your blanket and laid it down on the edge of the bed, so your cold feet would have a few extra layers. You held your jellyfish close to you and nuzzled your way under the covers.
Heaven. That was the closest way to describe it. You were quite proud of the nest you had made, well John did help- unknowingly. You gasped softly, your eyes snapping open.
A nest. You had made a nest.
You had only ever done it in your heat and when you did it then you had no materials to work with. You have heard that some omegas nest even when they aren't in heat. Happy ones at least. You grinned curling up on your stomach, your face melted against his pillow.
âYou smell that?â John asked, stepping inside. They carefully putting their bags by the door, trying to not alarm you. Johnny groaned from behind him.
âHappy girl,â he commented. The tightness and anxiety his body was storing slowly ebbed away at the smell. He knew that scent. It was extra strong when you were sleeping since you weren't able to hold anything back. He could picture you in his head, curled up against his chest, a sleepy smile on your face with very little awareness of your surroundings. Your soft skin twitching under his rough hands, warm from absorbing his body heat. Your warm peachy scent developing an undertone of cinnamon and spice from his. It sent a shiver up his spine, the hair on his arms standing up.
âGo take a shower. You'll get time with her in the morning.â John yawned. He made his way to your bedroom with the intent to check up on you, only to realize his door was open. His eyes had adjusted to the darkness quickly and he could make out a rather apparent lump on his bed. Although you wouldn't take up that much room. He snuck over a smile etched on his face. Warmth spread through his body at the sight before him. You were comfortable enough to not only sleep in his bed, but make a nest out of it. The overwhelming urge to crawl in there with you made his shoulders twitch.
He quickly made his way out of the bedroom, making his way to Johnnyâs bathroom. He didn't want the sound of water to startle you and he couldn't climb into bed with you stinking like he did.
âShe nested,â John spoke peeling off his clothes.
âShe did? In her bed?â
âNo, mine,â John clarified quickly.
âGreat, now it's going to smell like horny, pompous alpha in here.â Johnny groaned, scrubbing at his scalp, making room for the broad alpha under the running water.
He picked the clothes out of his closet quietly. It was about time he used his training for good.
âSweetheart,â he greeted. He didn't want to be on the receiving end of those claws if you got scared. Heâs seen the damage they could cause. Your eyes opened harshly, making him wince.
âYouâre back?â you couldn't quite believe it. They weren't supposed to be back for another two days. You pushed yourself out of bed, your fingers holding onto his shoulders for dear life. âWhy are you back? Is everything okay?â
He hummed in assurance.
âWe were able to finish up early,â he explained. âCame back as soon as possible.â
The truth was everything was different. They were different. The team had always been âthe best of the bestâ, but with the addition of you, they had turned practically untouchable. It was easier to move, easier to think, and most importantly they had a reason to get home. It might've just been luck, but they knew instinctively there was a change- a natural one. Their bodies transforming into vessels to protect and provide for you. It has been that way forever, consequently why the government has always taken advantage of this evolution. That didn't matter now.
âIs Johnny back?â you mumbled against his shoulder.
âYes. He's tired though, already crashed,â it was a lie, one he was hoping you wouldn't investigate. It wasn't that he wanted to keep Johnny from you, he wanted to keep you from Johnny. He knew the Scot would get you curled up in his arms before John could blink. It was his turn to have you. âLet's get you back to sleep, pretty girl,â John sighed, setting you back down in the bed, and tucking the sheets tight around you once again. He crawled in next to you, his arms wrapping around you trapping you against his chest. You nuzzled your way closer, a now familiar warmth spreading throughout your body. You were safe.
âSo happy you're back,â you mumbled, already growing tired again.
âMe too,â he whispered, keeping his lips pressed against your temple.
âIs it okay that I nested here?â
âCourse. I'd be happy to leave it if you wanted. I know you like to cuddle with the betas, but I wouldn't mind being worked into that routine,â he chuckled as you smiled against his chest.
You squealed as you were picked up and spun around. Johnny held his grasp on you as he flopped down on the couch, you perched atop of him. You leaned down peppering his face with kisses.
âThank you for not being gone too long,â you smiled against his cheek.
âHad to get back home to our girl,â he purred, flipping you on the couch so you were under him. His blue eyes were sparking, making you feel a bit nervous. He was inspecting you. âCan I?â he asked softly, his forehead resting against yours.
âPlease,â you whispered. He wasted no time connecting the distance. You were a bit unsure what to do. All your kisses with John had been little pecks.
âRelax, hen. Follow my lead,â he murmured, making your lips tickle. You did and once you found your rhythm you didn't want to pull away. Your hands clasped behind his neck, pulling him as close as possible. He chuckled against you, his smile interrupting the kiss. âKnew youâd get addicted,â he smirked.
âYouâre right, come back,â you murmured, pulling him back down. He gasped but quickly regained his footing, hoping to keep you occupied long enough for the burning of his cheeks to disappear. He wasnât used to someone so responsive. Eight times out of ten he had to instigate physical contact, but you were so accepting and matched his effort. You whined as he growled against you, pulling away before it all became too much. He chuckled against you as you panted, kissing across your cheek stopping just below your ear.
âThought about you a lot you know. It was hard, especially at night. You were alright here by yourself, aye?â he questioned, his eyes softened to a point that it made your breath hitch.
âI was alright, Tavy,â you assured, resting your forehead against each other.
âPeaches, I need to tell you somethingâ-
The door sprung open. The words âI love youâ getting caught in his tongue.
âThere you boys are,â John was the first to greet them. You shimmied out from under Johnny and he let you, watching as you nearly tackled Kyle to the ground.
The force of it knocked Kyle back into Simon.
You growled as all you got were scent blockers instead of fresh linen.
âI know, lovie, I know,â Kyle soothed. âFuck,â he groaned, your scent hitting him like a tidal wave.
âSteady yourself,â John chuckled. You wormed yourself away from Kyle and wrapped your arms around Simon. He ran his hands up and down your back and you gave him one last squeeze before pulling away- not wanting to push it. âYouâre both good?â John hummed, his hands resting on Kyle's shoulders. Kyle dived in for a hug and John quickly reciprocated, the feeling of finally being home settling in. You figured it was time to allow them some privacy and so you bounded into your room to change out of your sleep clothes.
âCan I talk to you two?â you questioned, closing the patio door behind you. They were having a smoke. Simon hummed in acknowledgment putting the cigarette out so you wouldn't be forced to breathe it it in such a small space.
âSomething wrong?â John asked, putting his cigar out as well.
âNot really, but something happened while you two were away and I think you should know about it,â you explained hesitantly. They shared a look, before Simon nodded his head towards the inside. You took the hint as he opened the door for you. It wasn't that you didn't want the betas to know, you just felt that the alphas would want to be the first to know. âI went out with Priya one dayâ-
âWhoâs that?â Simon interjected. John looked over, smacking him with his leg.
âLet âer talk,â he directed.
âI met her at that breakfast in the park thing. We have hung out a few times,â it was partially a lie. âAnyways, we were trying to figure out what to do and she said that the hospital had a rec center so we went there.â You paused trying to get a gauge on them. Their faces were like stone. You began losing the confidence you had.
âGo on,â John encouraged, his voice soft.
âWell she left to go to the bathroom quickly, and it was right across the hall. Then this doctor came over and he thought I was a freelance healer so he grabbed me andâ-
âGrabbed you?â Simon interjected again.
âWhere?â John pressed. You tucked your arm into your sweatshirt, pulling the hem up to show them the bruise on your upper arm. It had faded a decent amount since the incident, but there were still greenish-yellow fingerprints.
âName,â John commanded.
âI'm not done,â you asserted. They were stiff in their seats now, John was trying his hardest to be level-headed. How many times did they have to prove not to fuck with you? This had been one of the reasons they were so unsure about an omega to begin with. âHe grabbed me and put me into a room, with twoâ-
Simon stood up, heading towards his room to collect one of his balaclavas. He and John couldn't just stay home after this information.
âSimon, keep it together,â John snapped, his eyes still trained on you. He knew nothing too bad could've happened to you. You were fine last night- fuckinâ glowing actually.
âOne was an alpha I had never seen before, the other was a beta. The beta that had attacked me by the water fountain.â Johnâs breath hitched and you could feel Simon stiffen from behind you. âHe apologized and begged me not to hurt him,â you nearly chuckled. âI know that you two handled it- obviously, but he was talking about Lieutenant Hale,â you peaked over your shoulder at Simon. He had his back turned to you, his head facing the wall. âHe wanted something with me- the beta didn't know what. I'm sure you both know much more than I do, I just wanted to let you know,â you finished.
âThank youâ-
âThank you?â Simon snapped. âYouâre on house arrest,â Simon growled pointing at you.
âWhat?!â you exclaimed, standing up yourself. âI'm not a child, Simon. You can't do that.â
âLike fuckinâ hell I can't. Until you can learn to not be abducted, attacked, or threatened by bloody strangers you're not leaving this fuckinâ flat,â he snarled.
âJohn, do something, please,â you begged, turning to John.
âI agree with him.â John sighed. âNot for long but until we figure out strategies to keep you safe,â he reasoned.
âAre you fucking kidding me?â you sputtered. âIt's not my fault these things are happening,â you shot back.
âNo one is saying thatâ-
âSimon just did! He said and I quote âUntil you can learn to not be..â he blames me!â you recalled.
âIt's not forever,â John continued, trying to diffuse the situation. âYour incidents happen when you are left completely alone. We just need to make sure you're notâ-
âYou can't do that. You two have enough control over me as it is!â you spat. âI know it's the destiny of an omega to be under the pack's thumb all the time, but this is ridiculous and I think probably illegal.â
âNow I know it may feel like that at times but we do it to protect you,â John said.
âNot that it's working,â Simon grumbled.
âFuck you, Simon,â you growled. You couldn't believe the turn of events. Just yesterday you had your hand down your pants thinking about them and today you didn't even want to be in the same room. You wished the betas were here. You wished you never said anything. Simon's deep chuckle made you falter. Your mouth opened and closed like a fish, as he raised a hand to his mouth to stop the sudden onslaught. âAre you laughing?â you muttered.
Truth be told he has never enjoyed you more than right now. You, of all people, cursing at him with complete rage. Even now, your face scrunched in confusion and lingering anger, your whole being flushed with a beautiful heated glow.
âAlright, pup. You proved yourself. You're still on house arrest but just till we go on leave. Then hopefully people will have moved on to some new drama by the time we get back.â He sighed, heading towards the front door, John following close behind. Leave was scheduled for three days from now.
âWait, are we still fighting or not?â you questioned slowly.
âI can keep going,â Simon smirked.
âNo,â you replied a bit dumbfounded.
âDid I win? I feel like I won,â you mumbled, the adrenaline slowly wearing off.
âWhatever helps you sleep at night, pup. Come on, let's go get dinner.â
âWhat is happening?â you murmured, beginning your trek to the door.
A knock on his office door caused him to raise his head. He flinched at the sound, harsh against the silent hallway.
âCome in,â he sighed, spinning his chair around to face the door. The door opened slowly and the reveal had him shooting up from his chair.
âDr. Malcolm?â Kyle clarified. Johnny followed behind him, shutting and locking the door. âEasy, mate,â Kyle soothed his hands extending forward. âJust here to ask a few questions,â Kyle offered a smile, sitting down in one of the other office chairs. âAt least I am. That one over there is still a bit worked up,â Kyle chuckled, nodding his head towards the Scot leaning against the door. The glint in his eyes was heart-stopping and Kyleâs relaxed nature only added to the uneasiness in the air. âNow we heard her side of it and we saw what happened on the cameras but I think itâs only fair if we heard your side of it before making any rash decisions,â Kyle explained. âRight, Soap?â
âThereâs a lot riding on your answers. Thatâs for sure, doc,â Johnny spoke.
âHeâs right. I imagine it being hard to do your job missinâ a few fingers, yeah?â Kyle hummed. The doctor was leaning against his desk now, knees too weak to do anything else.
âI'm not afraid of you, punks,â Dr. Malcolm managed. Kyle winced.
âStrike one,â Kyle tsked, as Johnny took a few steps forward. Dr. Malcolm quickly held his hands up, shaking his head profusely.
âWait, wait,â he pleaded. âAlright. I made a mistake. We get freelance omegas from holding housing all the time to help with healing. I just assumed she was one of them. Honest mistake,â Dr, Malcolm sputtered, his hand still surrendering.
âThatâs interesting,â Kyle sighed, coming to a stand, his broad shoulders blocking most of the light from Dr. Malcolm's frame. âBecause to me, an honest mistake would you be askinâ her if she was a freelance omega. Her saying ânoâ. You takinâ that ânoâ as an answer and going about your day. Not you dragging her down the hallway as she fights against you. Your fingers leaving bruises on our girl's arm,â Kyle finished. âYou get that, right?â
The reasons behind why they wanted to take his fingers becoming more and more clear to Dr. Malcolm.
âYouâre right. Completely and utterly right. I'm ashamed of myself, honestly,â Dr. Malcolm appeased. âI can transfer,â he offered. Kyleâs eyes widened a smile spreading across his face.
âThat's a brilliant idea,â he praised, making the doctor's shoulders begin to relax. âBut that's unfortunately not going to work for us,â Kyle became tight lip, a disgustingly fake sorrowful look on his face. âYou see if we just let you go, then that's sends a message, that anyone can just come in and make our omega feel unsafeâ-
âI didn't know she was yours!â Dr. Malcom nearly sobbed.
âWell, weâll just call that strike number two then,â Kyle cleared his throat. âNow you know. And when you walk out of this office, everyone in the building will know too,â Kyke smiled.
âGonna be missing a few pieces, though,â Johnny grunted, heading towards the doctor. The doctor's shout was quickly cut off by Johnnyâs hand.
âNot to worry, mate. Sure you can find someone to attach them back,â Kyle smirked.

Little Duckling
Authorâs note: reposting my old work on this side blog! Let me know if youâd like to read a specific one. Thank you for reading!
Warning: pregnancy and childbirth
Saturday 10pm
Justin had been asleep for almost two hours as you folded laundry and put it away in the nursery. Your induction was scheduled for Monday morning promptly at 8am and everyone within the Chargers organization knew that this was happening because your husband absolutely hated taking the day off. But this was understandably a special exception to the rule. Youâd spent the last 9 months mentally and physically preparing yourself for this moment but the idea of having a human being relying on you for everything was still such a daunting task that you almost wished the day wouldnât come. Not until you felt completely prepared at least.
And then the ache in your back and hips reminded you that your baby girl was quickly running out of room and would be making her entrance soon, whether you and your husband were ready or not. On the bright side, your stomach had dropped significantly in the last few days, allowing you to breathe easier and for Justin to poke fun at your pronounced waddle. He affectionately started calling you Mumble last week, from Happy Feet. The dad jokes were coming in strong.
You heaved yourself out of the chair you were parked in and were headed off to bed before a slight pain wrapped itself around the base of your stomach. The pressure moved from the back to the front, settling on a spot underneath your belly button. You stopped walking and used the wall to support yourself, rubbing small circles around the area until it passed. As a Braxton-Hicks veteran, you continued your trek to the bedroom, completed your nighttime routine and headed off to bed.
Sunday 2am
It happened again. The slight twinge of discomfort had you holding your breath for about 15 seconds before letting go and you had to take several deep breaths to recover. After a few minutes everything was normal again and you had to turn around to make sure that Justin was still asleep next to you. Throughout your pregnancy heâd become a much lighter sleeper, often waking up at ungodly hours to get you snacks or a few nights when you caught him talking to your belly, whether it was talking about the playbook or just telling her he couldnât wait to meet her, it warmed your heart just the same. But you were thankful for now that he just missed that entire exchange because you were definitely not in laborâŠright?
Sunday 7am
You were definitely in labor. On a Sunday, when the Chargers were playing the Broncos at home. Of course. Youâd experienced three contractions so far, just about four hours apart so you had plenty of time. There was no way in hell you were telling Justin. As soon as it was appropriate, you scooted yourself out of bed and went down to the home gym for some prenatal yoga and a good stretch, hoping it would provide a boost of positive energy. Then you hopped in the shower, allowing the warm water would relax your tense muscles and maybe help you delay the inevitable.
By 8:30 Justin was awake and making breakfast for the two of you while you sat on the couch watching New Girl. He brought your plate and a cup of orange juice to you which you were grateful for, but the thought of putting anything but the juice in your body made your stomach turn.
âAre you alright? Youâve barely touched your avocado toast and youâve been devouring it the last few days.â He ran a gentle hand on your forehead like he was checking your temperature and caressed your cheek when he realized you werenât abnormally warm. âI can make you something else before I leave if you want?â
âNo, Iâm fine! Just not hungry yet, Iâll probably eat later.â You lied through your teeth, desperately hoping that he would let it go. The excuse seemed to satisfy him enough for him to head back upstairs to watch some film and get ready. An hour and a half later, he headed downstairs just in time to find you stretching out your back, the cramp beginning to wash over you.
He replaced your hands with his own, slightly lifting your stomach to take the weight off for a bit. âYour stomach is hard as a rock,â he observed furrowing his brows and starting to piece things together. âAre you sure everything is ok?â His soft voice attempted to mask his worry filled words.
âYeah Iâm having a fake contraction, you know theyâre so common these days.â You rushed out, attempting to use his extensive research against him. He could probably write his own version of âWhat to Expect When Youâre Expectingâ with his newfound pregnancy knowledge. It was both impressive and scary how much he had grown to know whatâs going on in your body before you did.
Although he nods his head in understanding, his face is still full of distress. And you could tell he was analyzing your words and tone of voice for any sign that you were lying, leaving you to mentally curse at the fact that he knew you so well and youâd need to work extra hard to convince him to go on like this was a normal day.
Although he let out a deep sigh, he didnât ask any further questions. âI know, I just hate the thought of you being in pain and thereâs nothing I can do about it.â
You tap his wrist so he can slowly drop your belly and you turn around in his arms. âYouâre so cute, but it really isnât that bad. A lot less painful than playing with ankle thatâs hanging on by a shoestring I can tell you that.â You chuckle, his hands rubbing soothing circles on your back and you felt compelled to return the favor, sensing he too needed some comfort. âHereâs whatâs gonna happen today though. You are going to go and kick Denverâs ass then youâre going to come home, weâll celebrate and then tomorrow youâll be on your way to being the greatest dad to ever live. How does that sound?â
Justin chuckles, giving you a peck on the lips, nose and forehead. âIf Iâm half as good a parent as I know you will be, then I know Iâll be golden.â
âStop it before I start crying, you know Iâm super hormonal right now this isnât fair.â You mumble, tears brimming your eyes. He gives you one last kiss before reminding you to call your friend Dani to stay with you, even though your moms were on their way to your home.
Once he pulled out of the driveway you could relax, letting out a deep sigh and patting your swollen middle. Crisis averted.
For now.
Sunday 12pm
Contractions were officially every hour and Dani was trying her best not to freak out in order not to freak you out. But she was definitely freaking out. What started out as more intense period cramps were becoming a lot sharper, so much so that you couldnât even focus on Encanto, which was the last sign you needed to know that this was the real thing. You did manage to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and take a nap while she was with you, fluffing your pillows and telling you that you were doing amazing. Three hours later, there was a knock at the door and Dani went to open it for Holly and your mom. The two becoming best friends was probably the cutest thing in the world and your mom had even flown to Oregon three days before just to spend time with Holly and drive to California with her. They were the sweetest. And of course they brought snacks. There were lactation cookies for you in the freezer already but they brought more and they brought an abundance of food to eat during the game, which usually would have made your day, but today all it did was make you want to stick your face in the toilet.
You greeted the two women with hugs as Dani helped set up their spread and they immediately asked how you were feeling.
âI just woke up not too long ago so Iâm feeling great now. Very ready to not be pregnant anymore so I can see my fâohhh wow. Ow.â You groaned, one hand on your contracting belly and the other gripping the counter for dear life.
Daniâs eyes bug out of her head as she moves to rub your back. âThat was the roughest one yet.â She was right, this one left your whole body sore, a loud reminder that things were definitely moving along.
âThis one?â Your mom questions, looking between you and Dani. Then, she and Holly exchange a look.
âOh my gosh sweetie, youâre in labor!â Holly exclaims, âwe need to get a hold of Justin immediately. Iâll call Mark, Iâm sure heâs already at the stadium.â
You cannot shake your head fast enough, âthereâs no need to call him yet, that was the first bad one. And this game is important.â
âItâs Justin hun, every game is important,â Holly laughs, giving you a loving squeeze.
âBut you know whatâs even more important to him? You and that baby girl thatâs getting ready to meet us soon. Are you sure you donât want to tell him now?â
âIâm sure,â you sigh, allowing your mom to guide you back to the couch, sinking down into it with a groan. âOnce the game is over heâll be here and weâll go have a baby. But not a moment before.â
Admittedly, it was getting harder to focus. Justin was playing great, but of course so was Bo Nix. The Chargers would score and the Broncos would answer. The Broncos would get a stop and the Chargers would force a punt. You were entertained but the battle happening within you was the most interesting one to the people in your house.
Your mom had gone down to find your birthing ball, which helped for about half a quarter, just in time for a Ladd McConkey touchdown to put the Chargers up by 10. By the end of the third you were forced into a squat behind one of the couches, spreading your legs to hopefully ease the increasing pressure on your hips. You breathed through the contraction, the sensation sending a pins and needles feeling near your tailbone. Holly made sure you stayed hydrated, having secretly texted her husband halfway through the fourth quarter when the game was firmly in hand to have their son home as soon as humanly possible. Contractions creeped on 30 minutes apart, leaving you panting and groaning in discomfort until your muscles relaxed.
Fifteen minutes later, you were pacing around the living room and you had to stop to hold onto the couch again, your mom helping you roll your hips as you felt thin beads of sweat building around your hairline. Things were getting real and scary and you needed Justin.
âWhat time is it?â You murmured, cupping your stomach with a hiss as the baby moved.
âItâs 7:15 and heâs on his way home, baby.â Your mom whispers, sensing your increasing distress, âheâll be here soon.â
âMy back hurts,â you state suddenly, a slight tremble in your voice. âEverything really hurts.â
Your mom grabs at your hips, squeezing them together to apply counter pressure, giving you momentary relief.
Dani was in charge of timing contractions and all you knew was the moment in between them where you could actually form a coherent thought. Time was no longer real. You headed upstairs for some time to yourself and a wave of nausea hit you and you emptied probably everything youâd eaten the entire day, which in hindsight probably wasnât much. But you werenât in the headspace to think clearly right now. You walked back towards to the bedroom and clutched the doorway, visibly feeling the heaviness of the baby moving down, almost sending you to your knees if it werenât for the solid, calming presence that was suddenly in front of you.
âHey babe.â You breathe out, feeling a little unsure that your legs were capable of holding you up until you could sit on the bed.
He pulled you into his arms as close as your belly would allow and pressed his lips your forehead. âHi. Glad I could make it back in time. I knew something was off with you this morning,â he narrowed his eyebrows at you when he pulled away, walking you slowly back into the room placing a firm hand on the small of your back, making circles with it while holding your hand with the other. âAlright babyâŠlong have you been in labor?â
You let out a dry laugh at his disappointed dad look. âSince 10 last night I think? But letâs focus on the important things, you played great and you won but man you guys really took a minute to shut the door on âem.â
âRight, the important things.â He says with a knowing smile. âI know you love football as much as I do now, but if you told me earlier I wouldâve been at your side in a heartbeat. You know that, right?â
God, you hoped your baby had his caring heart. âI do know that, I really do. But I also knew that youâd be able to do both. The Chargers are your family too andââ
A contraction creeped up on you, leaving you to hold onto your husbandâs forearms with a sharp sound of pain, the pressure reaching an overwhelming peak that you hadnât experienced before.
âSqueeze as much as you want, itâs okay.â His voice attempts to soothe you but you couldnât hear him over the animalistic grunt that escaped you. Your body tensed involuntarily and he could see your stomach hardening as the tension continued to build. There was nothing more he could do than hold you through it, until something gave way and the floodgates openedâŠliterally.
Even he sounded breathless by the end of it. âYour water just broke.â
Sunday 10pm
Contractions in the house were terrible. But contractions in the car, with no cushion from the water bag made it feel like she was right between your legs.
âJustin, you have to go faster. Please.â You panted out, desperately clutching the grab handle and leaning your head back with a loud moan. âCan you turn on the air, Iâm dying in here. And I need to put the seat back, my back is killing me, Iâm sorry.â You felt like a turtle stuck on its back, waiting for someone to turn it over and set it free.
âYeah, yeah do whatever you need. And you donât need to apologize,â he pats you on the leg, âdo whatever makes you comfortable, weâll be there soon.â He kept looking between you and the road, slightly worried that heâd have to deliver the baby in the car. The only thing that slightly reassured him the whole drive was your sigh of relief when the fan came on. First babies were supposed to take a while but heâd missed the entirety early labor, so from the sounds that he was hearing he figured you were in or at the very least extremely close to the transition stage. His grip on the steering wheel tightened and remained that way until the birthing center came into view. Your parents had called ahead and would meet you there when given the word, so all you had to do was check in and you were brought to your private suite.
Seven centimeters dilated and without painkillers made your husband question any football toughness he thought he had. You were so close to meeting your baby and he was a mix of anxiousness, nerves and excitement. Most of all he felt so much love and admiration for your determination and strength. Holding off on telling him you were in labor so he could be there to get the job done with his teammates was one thing and it was a complete whirlwind to be there with you while you worked to bring your baby into the world.
Once he was finally able to tear his eyes off the babyâs heart monitor, all of his focus was back on you. He wasnât going to say anything but the agony in your voice was really starting to take a toll on him. Months of mental preparation for this moment was nothing like the real thing and he felt utterly helpless, desperately trying to maintain some sort of control and be helpful in any way.
âHoney youâre shaking, are you cold?â Without even giving you time to answer he was up on his feet, reaching for his bag to grab the blanket heâd seen you drape over yourself on several movie night occasions.
You shake your head while your teeth continue to chatter, reaching for his left hand, âI think itâs the adrenaline. Iâm okay I promise,â you shift uncomfortably in bed, trying to just go along with how your body is feeling and reacting. Your belly tightens, a white hot pain generating an unexpected moan as you palmed your stomach. Justin places his hand on top of yours, whispering to you that the contraction is almost over and constantly reminding you that youâre doing great.
The two of you decided to use gravity to your advantage and walk around the building since the entire floor was closed off at your husbandâs request. He couldnât risk anyone leaking the most private and cherished moment in his life.
âI canât believe this is our last night as a duo.â Justin whispers, walking at a snailâs pace while you waddled alongside him. âItâs been a great ride, pal.â
âWouldnât want to do it with anyone else. And I have a feeling this ride is going to get a lot more interesting from here on out.â You gave your belly a soothing pat.
He strokes your back as you sway your hips again, âthank you for choosing me to be the one that gets to do this with you. I love you so much.â
âI love you too, more than anything in the world.â You grin, pulling him in for a soft kiss. His hand cups your face as he pulls you in even closer. The kiss oozed joy and gratitude. Your husband wasnât a man of many words, but his actions spoke volumes.
You squeeze his arm again suddenly as pain bubbles deep in your core and you rip yourself away from him to press your lips together to stifle a yell. âWe need to get back to the room. Now.â
The noises leaving your body would have horrified you if you werenât already sitting backwards on the toilet wearing only an oversized t-shirt, with your legs spread and the man of your dreams digging his thumbs into your back. âHarder please,â you groan, feeling like your tailbone is seconds away from shattering.
âIâm not getting a break,â you cry, clenching your jaw, leaning back and asking him to help you up. He hooks his hands under your arms and basically lifts you to your feet. âItâs not stopping, I canâtâoh fuck.â It felt like you were going to throw up, but out of the other end, which could only mean one thing. âSheâsâJustin sheâs coming right now. I have to push.â You took a breath and focused completely inward, your entire body going rigid, shaky straining sounds of effort pouring out of you.
The quarterback immediately sprang into action,âeasy babe, breathe. Iâve got you.â
You held onto one of his hands and moved into a squat on your shaky legs as he pressed the red button on the side of the bathroom door, allowing your midwife to come in.
The baby felt like it was seconds away from falling out, everything suddenly feeling like it was moving a mile a minute. The midwife was saying something but the ringing in your ears was so loud you couldnât focus on anything but getting your baby delivered.
After another throaty shove, you came back to yourself a little, feeling a gentle hand rubbing your shoulder. âBabe? You gotta slow down. Take a second, I can already see her a little bit you can give yourself some time.â
âI canât, the pressure is too much!â Tucking your chin to your chest, you let out a yelp as you push again, using him as a solid wall to rest against as you spread your legs to give your baby more room. âHoly fuck your baby is huge,â your husband and the midwife both laugh, âIâm sorry itâs justâthis is really hard.â
Pushing felt good, even though it left you shaking like a leaf in a cold and sweaty frenzy. At some point during the delivery heâd pushed your hair back with his lucky headband that was always around his wrist if it wasnât on his head. It was the most intense experience of your life but you took one look at those bright green eyes and he reminded you that he was with you the entire time and you knew you could do anything with him by your side.
Remington Grace Herbert was born Monday morning at 1:42am with those exact same eyes that you fell in love with.
âHi Remi,â Justin sobs, kissing her cheek. âWeâve been waiting for you, baby girl.â
âShe sure knows how to make an entrance.â
You hand her off to her dad after scooting over to give him more room on the bed. He wraps a free arm around you, securely holding her in his other one, totally in awe. âSheâs so perfect. Youâre perfect. You did so amazing, Iâm so freaking proud of you.â He kisses the side of your head.
You cuddle into him with a content sigh, âOur perfect little duckling is finally here.â

headcanons on miguelâs favorite sex positions? đ
OOOO boi do i have some things to say about this
headcanon : Miguel's favourite sex positions and why with some quotes of what he would say in each situation for the positions
content warnings : SMUT (18+) minors dni, mentions of -breeding kink, size kink, soft sex, rough sex, pnv sex, prostate, bdsm. softdom!miguel, no use of Y/N word count : 1,3k
ïč«tag list : @fandom-ash
Missionary : âą description : the receiver partner lays back and the giving partner enters from above
listen, he is a simple man that sometimes likes to stick to the good ol stuff
this, and also because he just loves to watch you and how small you look under him
Miguel for SURE has a size kink, like LOOK at how BIG he is
and the fact that he knows he can cage you underneath him simply with his frame makes his cock twitch
also : this one gives him access to your neck and your breasts/chest, and every single position that does so is a must
bonus point for the kinky missionary where he ties your hands above your head while his roam your entire body
plus he just loves seeing you begging, that powerless look in your eyes as you squirm under him makes his eyes burn dark
âIâm going to make you come until you canât breathe.â
Table-top / Countertop : âą description : you donât have to do this specifically on a table. Have the giver enter while the receiver sits or lies at the edge of a table, counter, or bed.
this man is devoted to his work, but he is mostly devoted to you
and sometimes he just canât resist seeing your thigh thickening as you sit down, it does unspeakable things to him (because he is undoubtedly a thigh man, fight me on this)
gotta make some good use of these desks after all
if he really just can't wait for you two to be back to his quarters, heâd 100% make everyone leave the office so that he can just pin you down on the desk and fuck you senseless
once, you almost got caught because you were moaning a bit too loud, and he just pressed his hand on your mouth
âI love your moans nena, but for now you have to be silent.â
you had tried to control your moans better, biting on the inside of your cheek, your lip, or his
âdonât worry, because later, Iâll make you screamâ
another way for him to take you that is similar to the countertop would be :
Face-off / the chairman ⹠description : the giving partner sits on a chair or on the edge of a bed ; the receiver faces them while seated on their lap (for the chairman, the receiving is facing away)
he likes this one because this way he can see you, hold you close to him and still have access to your entire body
heâd spend so much time marking you, everywhere across your neck, breast and back
also the chairman might start because either you or him proposes some cockwarming during his work
âI need you, right now.â
when in the bedroom though, he will go for something similar but sweeter :
the Om/Rocking Horse âą description : the giving partner sits cross-legged, (yoga/pretzel-style), while the receiver sits on their lap facing them. The receiver can wrap their legs around the giver and hug each other
he just loves the proximity of this one, itâs so intimate
how he can hold you in his arms while you go at your own rhythm. You look so good for him, heâs literally drunk on your every expression and moans
heâll become a full koala, just wrapping his arms around you and kissing your skin tenderly, his eyes full of pure adoration for you
seeing you so close, he is so proud of you and how good you are for him
itâs in these moments that he wonders what he did to deserve to have such an amazing partner
âdo you like the way that feels ? Gosh, you should see how good you look right now.â
Cowgirl âą description : the receiver kneels on top, pushing off the giverâs chest and sliding up and down their thighs. The receiver can relieve some weight from their partnerâs pelvis by leaning back and supporting themselves on their thighs
ooo boi many reasons
first of all, after a long day, if you want him, you can still fuck him when he is too tired to properly take care of you (this man will crave your body until his last breath)
second of all, the view he has is amazing
seeing you bounce on his dick, his hands grasping your breasts/chest and your hips while youâre rolling them onto him : pure bliss
third of all, this one allows you to manage your own rhythm and your own pleasure just the way you want it
he does also love some alternatives to it
reverse cowgirl for instance is insanely good, seeing your amazing ass lowering on his dick and grazing his lower belly is heavenly. Bonus point for this one if itâs mirrored sex, because seeing your beautiful face while youâre the one fucking him elevates his soul
âuse me as your toy all night longâ
Leap frog ⹠description : this is a modified doggy style position. The receiver gets on their hands and knees, then, keeping hips raised, rests their head and arms on the bed.
remember the soft Miguel I told you about in the Om part ? Letâs set that idea to the side, âcause he ainât soft in this one
damn this position makes him want to breed you so bad, because this has a sort of bestial and intense style to it
he can go deep into you, hitting all the good spots while he toys with your clit and drives you from one climax to the other
he will lock your wrists in your back with just one hand while with the other he grips your hair
he loves the feeling of your ass against him, and will undoubtedly grab it full hand or slap it
he might or might not use this one whenever he feels frustrated and needs to vent the tension
âiâm going to fuck you until you canât walkâ
Scoop me up/spooning âą description : both partner lie on their side, facing the same direction while the giver enters the receiver
Miguel, as we can imagine, is the big spoon, and he loves being it
so combining this with sex ? Oh boi thatâs a win
also (same as with cow-girl) this is a great way for him to still make love to you when he is tired after a long day because he doesnât need to use a lot of energy
bonus point about this one : he loves it because, when youâre all done, thereâs nothing much left to do but snuggle up and fall asleep in each otherâs embrace
âCoño, you feel amazing.â
Mating press / Seashell âą description : the receiver lies back with their legs raised all the way up, the giver enters from a missionary position
as mentioned earlier, Miguel probably has a good olâ breeding kink
so of course this position is a necessity
he can be all good and deep inside you while you're under him, he might bite your calf
he feels like he looks so much bigger than you in this, and heâll never get tired of the vision of your eyes tearing up from how deep heâs fucking you
plus, he can block both your legs and arms, completely dominating you and holding you at his mercy, and that excites him very, very much
âLetâs find out how much you can take.â
this one is kind of a bonus :
the snow angel (maybe an unpopular opinion ? i have no idea tbh bhffrgd) âą description : the receiver should lie on their back and have the giving partner straddle them, facing away. The receiver lifts their legs and wraps them around the giverâs back to elevate their pelvis so the giver can enter.
okay this one mostly applies for one single reason : prostate massage
you both might just rarely use this one, because miguel canât see you nor mark anything than your legs (which he doesn't appreciate), however the possibility that you can finger his ass while he fucks you is an amazing feeling
the way he can bury himself inside of you while you hit his prostate so deliciously makes him moan uncontrollably
âDonât stop⊠Itâs so good when you touch me there.â

OK...I'm asking....
Yay!
So this happened in what I consider the worst job I ever had. And that is saying something because I very much worked retail in a mall. I had just graduated uni, I couldn't afford toronto anymore, and I needed a full-time job to make ends meet now that the stability of university was gone. So I went to edmonton because I had one family member I could stay with until I got on my feet. And I was not in a position to turn away a job that paid.
So I took a door to door sales position. For telus. I can hear the canadians in the room wincing so to everyone else: telus is one of the three whole mega megacorporations that control the ENTIRE canadian telecommunications network. And all three of those companies are buddy buddy and have us all by the balls. That's why canadian phone plans are the most expensive in the world. Not in the developed world: in the WORLD.
The meth lab incident happened on my 3rd whole day on my own. I was in St. Albert, which is this suburb of edmonton that is like if a kale smoothie and that guy who won't shut up about bikhram yoga had a baby they abandoned in an HOA meeting. Which is what makes this that much more unhinged: it was in the most cookie cutter suburbia part of the EMR.
So I was doing my knocks in my blue Jay's hat and my telus branded polo shirt with my clipboard and I knock on my next door. I'm greeted by a middle aged woman who proceeds to dump on me that she's divorcing her husband of 30 years and moving to New Brunswick. I'm like okay cool I just wanna sell you cable packages, good luck with that?
I write that off and continue along the cul de sac until I knock on this other lady's door. And when I say talkative I mean a real chatty Kathy. She practically grabs me by the collar and plops me down on her deck chairs, shoves a coffee in my hand, and says "HEY TELUS GUY DID YOU KNOCK ON METH GUYS DOOR???" And points to the house of the lady who just told me she was getting a divorce
At this point I have forgotten about my commission. I have forgotten about my shitty supervisor and how every part of this job sucks and how I wanna go back to Toronto. I have thrown away my clipboard I have started sipping her coffee that could very well be spiked with something and I go "you have to tell me about the meth guy"
That house I knocked on? The weird oversharing lady who was getting a divorce? Her husband was running a meth lab out of the basement THEIR ENTIRE MARRIAGE and she ONLY FOUND OUT THEN?? He called it his man cave and said that she wasn't allowed in?? And then one day she went down out of curiosity and it was a METH LAB??? All the bonuses he said he got at work were meth money.
I'm still enamored by how this happened. Did it not smell? Like for those who don't know edmonton there is a HUGE meth problem here. Like across the political aisle we all agree that something has to happen about all the meth, the details get foggy and that's where people argue, but needless to say I have smelled and been offered meth before just by virtue of living downtown. That shit REEKS. Like you know meth smell because it somehow smells like the word "meth." You will know what you are smelling even when you've never smelled it before. And it lingers. It hangs. It gets into walls. I know when I've taken a train car before because the smell of that guy who hotboxed it with meth smoke last week will still kinda be there. There's no way that house didn't smell like ass down to the foundation.
And the "you arent allowed in my man cave" excuse... im enamored by both the sexism towards his OWN WIFE and the way she just... went along with it for 30 years? Never set foot down there? The sexism and the just believing it?
I kept trying to steer the conversation back to the meth lab and this lady I was on the porch of kept actively trying to buy internet deals from me. Like she was the only person I ever pitched who was TRYING to get my bundles. I ended up just handing her my list of products and told her to check off what she wanted and was like "more meth lab?" And she went right to "yknow i think if I was your age I would've been a boy now. We didn't really have those terms when I was a kid" I DID NOT BRING THAT UP MA'AM I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR GENDER CRISIS TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE METH LAB
That job was so shit that that was the only one I ever quit with no back up plan and did not regret for a second. I then went to the mall and handed out CVs and got my retail job by the end of the week from doing that.

I just realized, if Henry doesn't get killed by something, he's going to live a really long time. Like, stupidly long.
He's a druid and at 18th Level he gets access to the class feature Timeless Body, meaning that for every 10 years that pass, his body only ages one year.
He was mid-thirties when Odyssey took place, it's like two and a half decades later and biologically, he's only now in his late thirties, maybe forty at a push. He probably looks more like Lark and Sparrow's brother than their dad.
Also I fully believe that Henry wouldn't think it was magical in nature, he would be totally convinced it was due to lifestyle choices.
Glenn - Henry, look, here's a picture of us from twenty years ago. And here's a picture of you I took earlier today. Side by side, look, you look exactly the same.
Henry - Well, would you look at that? Gee, it looks like wearing all that sunscreen is really paying off!
Ron - Okay but you're sixty and your hair isn't even thinning.
Henry - Huh, I guess you're right. That's probably the all natural shampoo that Mercedes makes - she puts rosemary oil in it, she thinks it smells nice, but it's also supposed to be good for hair follicles. I guess it's working?
Darryl - Henry, everyone else your age has creaky knees and back problems and groans when they get up out of a chair!
Henry - Ah, yes, but you're forgetting I do yoga every day, so, that keeps me limber.

Like I Can (Part 3)
Summary: After yet another bad date and tired of swiping on apps, the Dagger Squad steps in to help you out by setting you up on a series of blind dates. Much to Roosterâs dismay.
Warnings: fluff, swearing, slight angst. Minors DNI
Length: 7.2K
Pairing: Bradley âRoosterâ Bradshaw X Female Reader
Part 1 |Â Part 2
(Allâs well that ends wellâŁïž Enjoy!)
Youâd been on edge all day.Â
Having slept terribly the night before, youâd woken up early and giving up on the idea of going back to sleep had ended up at a sunrise yoga class, hoping that some movement would help you clear your mind. By the end of the hour you were even more frustrated than you were before you arrived, the poses feeling unnaturally forced instead of flowing seamlessly as they usually did.Â
So much for some goddamn inner peace.
Work was even worse. You had arrived to find that the espresso machine was broken. And whoever made a pot on the ancient drip machine, that was undoubtedly pulled out of a dingy storage closet somewhere, clearly hated everyone else since it tasted like tar. You could barely focus enough to clear out your inbox, when your work nemesis started breathing down your neck about a proposal that wasnât due for another two weeks.Â
Time was dragging on. And every time you looked at the clock thinking it had been at least an hour since youâd last checked, were continually shocked to see that barely fifteen minutes had passed by. Thankfully it was Friday, so your boss didnât care when you called it a day and left at lunch. It was better for everyone this way.
You had tried painting your nails, but didnât have the patience to let them dry and smudged them trying to open a package of crackers. Ignoring the crumbs that got everywhere as you ate them while working the cotton pad over the remnants of your pretty pink polish. Your new favorite show didnât hold your attention like it usually did and you found yourself mindlessly scrolling on your phone, missing most of the plot youâd had to restart it. Twice.
Not even the scenic drive along the coast to the restaurant you were supposed to meet your date at had done anything to alleviate your nerves.
You had been surprised at the choice of location when you had received the text message with the information about this particular date. As much as you enjoyed going to the Hard Deck, you were very much looking forward to drinking something other than a beer. Sure, Penny could make a mean spicy margarita, but sometimes an overpriced aesthetically pleasing cocktail just hit the spot better than anything else.Â
But most of all, you were thankful for a change of pace and the privacy this offered you. You had never been one for the spotlight, and dating on display had left you feeling drained.
Youâre sitting in a surprisingly comfortable wooden wicker dining chair on the outdoor patio of the new trendy fusion restaurant youâve been dying to come to. From your spot tucked away in the corner you can see the ocean waves rolling in and back out again. The golden rays already promising a stunning sunset later in the evening.
The foliage of the giant potted monsteras and birds of paradise made the terrace feel like a lush oasis, and contrasted stylishly against the large painted terracotta tiles on the ground. The pergola that covered it was dotted wisteria amongst the other climbing greenery, and numerous oversized hanging rattan sconces. The dainty lights woven throughout reflecting off the wine glasses on the table.
This was exactly what you needed. Too bad you couldnât let yourself enjoy it, the twisted knots in the pit of your stomach had served a constant reminder of your nerves all day.
You had used this date as an excuse to finally buy the deep green floral dress youâd had your eye on for ages. The gentle drape of the neck was subtly sophisticated, while the high slit on the side added some serious sex appeal.Â
There was nothing wrong with a little retail therapy you had told yourself as youâd swiped your credit card. If you looked good, maybe it would help you to feel good.
In all honesty, it probably had a little too much sex appeal since you couldnât stop fidgeting in your chair trying to get the silky dress cover up more of your thigh that was currently displayed rather provocatively. It felt like the more you tried to get it to lay right the more of your leg was exposed.Â
It probably didnât help that you couldnât stop the restless bouncing of your leg. You werenât usually an antsy person, leg bouncing had always been more of Roosterâs anxious habit than yours.
Maybe youâll feel less exposed once you draped the linen napkin across your lap. Youâre tempted to do it now, but you donât want to disturb the artfully laid out tablescape before your date has arrived.
It had been three weeks of back to back truly terrible dates. You could see the finish line now, but you couldnât say that it wasnât wearing on you. It had sounded like fun in theory, but now you werenât so sure you would said yes again if you were offered a do-over.Â
You were tired.Â
Tired of going through the motions with men who could hardly be bothered to do the bare minimum. Tired of trying to sell the best version of yourself. Tired of putting on a show when all you wanted to find was an easy kind of love.
And this particular date had you more on edge and anxious than any of the other ones youâd gone on.
Even if you were pressed, you could not remember a single thing about the guy Payback had set you up with on your most recent blind date.
That evening you hadnât even bothered trying to put together a cute outfit for the meeting. Instead, the only real effort youâd opted to put in was painting your lips a bright red as an attempt to psych yourself up for it. You didnât usually wear such a bold color, but when you did it never failed to make you feel more brilliant.
And while you couldnât remember anything about your date, what you did vividly remember was the fight you got into with Rooster that night.
You had been coming back from the restroom and on your way back to your date when you had bumped into him rounding the corner.Â
âSorry, that was my fault,â heâd said as he reached out to steady you with hand going to your waist, dropping it once he realized it was you. âOh, hey.â
Glancing over to your date who seemed absorbed in some game he was playing on his phone, you figured he wouldnât miss you if you spent a few extra minutes away to catch up with Rooster.
He had been acting really distant lately, taking a couple days to respond to texts rather than a couple of hours like it usually took him. Natasha had told you about the rigorous training they were being put though, and you had assumed it probably had something to do with that. However, you couldnât shake the feeling that something was off between you two.
Rooster was already pulling away from you and taking a step towards the bar when you reached out grabbing his wrist to keep him with you. Looking around for a quiet place to talk, youâd heard him sigh behind you, but still held on to him as you made your way to one of the high-top tables in the corner by the empty stage.Â
Youâd stopped and let go as you turned towards him, only to find him already looking at you with an expression that landed somewhere between expectant and exasperated. The cuffs of his shirt straining around his biceps as he crossed his arms over his chest.Â
âWell?â he grunted out.
Was he mad at you? You couldnât think of any recent arguments youâd had recently that would explain the harsh tone he was using with you.Â
âIs everything ok? I feel like youâve been really off lately. You know Iâm always here for you, right?â Your hand was already reaching out to touch him, but you resisted the urge not wanting to further agitate him.
âNothingâs wrong. Iâm surprised you even have time to talk to me with all these washouts youâve been wasting your time on. Youâre the one with the busy social calendar, not me.â He was looking over the top of your head avoiding your gaze now, the bitterness in his voice had stunned you.Â
âSeriously? What is the matter with you?âÂ
Heâd never been so intentionally callous with you before and it hurt.Â
âListen, if there is an issue me dating the people your friends have been setting me up with, you need to let me know,â youâd said pointing a firm finger at him, your anger rising. âThis was supposed to be a fun no pressure situation, but I donât want to be in the middle of this if things are getting heated between you guys. Itâs not worth it to me. But you donât get to ignore me for days and then claim that Iâm the one avoiding you.â
He made a noise of frustration as he dragged both hands through his curls. You could see the flex of his jaw as heâd clenched his teeth together.
âLook, Iâm sorry,â he ducked down to that his eyes were level with your, and you could see the remorse in them. âYouâre right, that was shitty of me to take it out on you. Iâm just⊠tired.â
Youâd simply nodded at him, feeling like you werenât on the same page as him didnât sit well with you. âPhoenix told me about your new training program, it seems intense,â your voice sounded small even to your own ears.
âYeah, the training,â heâd sighed out pausing for a moment as he weighed his words, rubbing at his chest, âItâs taking a toll on me, but thatâs my problem. I mean it, Iâm sorry.â
âAre we good?â you searched his eyes, your friendship with him was so important to you.
âYou and me? Weâre good, kid. Always.â Heâd reached out and squeezed your shoulder before heading back to where the group was gathered together pretending like they werenât just watching your argument play out.Â
Needless to say, your head was somewhere elsewhere entirely as you made your way back to your date. Youâd felt bad being so distracted, but your mind just kept playing the argument on repeat. It was like your brain was trying to pull apart every little word to decode something that you didnât think was there.
After Paybackâs friend had left, you rejoined everyone else around the pool table. You couldnât tell if the mood was off or if it was just you reading into things, since they hadnât been prodding you with questions like they usually did.
Natasha was in the middle of giving you a glowing review of the man she had been bragging about since she first offered to set you up, when Rooster came to sit with you both.
âHeâs just your type. Heâs an engineer, so heâs smart. Heâs got that whole glasses wearing and floppy hair thing going for him. And heâs funny. Rumor has it that he talked back to his Rear Admiral one time and got away with it because the guy had found him amusing. I fully expect you to name one of your future children with him after me.â
Rooster had surprised the pair of you when he stood up so violently that he almost knocked over the beers on the table.Â
âWhat the fuck, Bradshaw?â Nat had exclaimed as you both worked to rescue the teetering bottles from becoming casualties from his sudden movement.
You had no idea what he was going to say as an explanation for why heâd jumped out of his seat the way he did, but what he ended up unexpectedly announcing instead of answering Natâs question had sent you into a tailspin.
So now here you are in a restaurant youâd be dying to go to, fidgety and anxious in a probably-too-expensive-and-probably-too-provocative dress for a first date with the guy who Rooster was willing to break his long-standing rules for to set you up with.
To say you were feeling the pressure was an understatement. No one knew you like Rooster did. Heâd seen you at your best and at your worst. He wouldnât just pick any random guy he knew, he would be picking the one who he thought would be the best for you.
The thought should be comforting, but you couldnât shake the feeling of uneasiness.
You pick up your phone again and double check the time in the text that Rooster had sent you with all the details for your date with his friend.Â
It was either that do that again or moving the ever-so-slightly crooked gold salad fork back into place.
Youâre about to open Instagram for the third time since you sat down, turning when you hear a throat clear purposely behind you.
âHey, sweet girl.â
For Rooster, when youâd first agreed to participate in the bet with his friends those dates started off as annoying inconveniences. Just inconsequential disruptions that got in the way of his time with you.
You were his best friend and at his bar, yet he felt like heâd hardly seen you these past couple of weeks- or at least not as much as he would have liked.Â
Sure, he got some time with you here and there at the end of the night like when you had late night tacos on the beach. Or when heâd taught you his favorite pool trick, well more like attempted to teach you, he loved how stunningly bad you were at the game. But he felt like he was competing with these idiots his friends had picked out for your time and your attention.Â
He wasnât used to sharing you. In the past, if you had a date that conflicted with something spontaneous he wanted to do or something that the group had planned together, more often than not he could get you to move it or cancel completely.
Heâd never been above a little bribery to get his way, he knew what you liked.
You going on dates wasnât a new concept to him, but seeing them paraded in front of him was a different story. And he was getting really tired of watching you from across the bar while feeling like you were out of reach.
The more of them you went on, and the more he heard Natasha crowing about having the perfect man for you the more agitated he felt. The worse that feeling in the pit of his stomach got.Â
The evening of date for Paybackâs pick, theyâd all seen you walk in through the doors of the Hard Deck wearing that shade of red lipstick. Youâd wore it so well. His friends had immediately started speculating about what it meant. Phoenix had called them all idiots, and while he couldnât claim to know anything about make-up and those things, he did know you didnât just wear that color for no reason.Â
He had vague memories of his mom putting the color on when theyâd go greet his dad, at least he like to think those were his memories. Or maybe they were just something heâd created in his head from all the time he had spent looking at old photos of his mom and dad together, her smile always outlined in the color. His favorite was the one where his dadâs cheeks were covered in bright red lipstick kisses as he smiled indulgently down at his mom while a young Bradley was propped on her hip clutching his prized F-14 Tomcat. He had that one framed on the end table next to his couch.Â
And seeing that color on you for a date with this random guy had rattled him.
Heâd felt so terrible later that evening when he took those feelings out on you. Hating himself as he lashed out at you. Hating himself as he saw your face fall and the hurt in your eyes. Hating himself for being the person who made you feel bad.
And the crux of it all was that you werenât wrong, he had been deliberately distant by being slow to reply and ignoring texts from you. He wasnât proud of it, but he didnât know what else to do. Heâd hoped by creating some space that it would help him to try and get his head back on straight.Â
Heâd let you assume that he was tired from the new training program they were being put through. What he didnât tell you was that he was already outperforming everyone on the team, and that he hadnât had to do any extra push-ups in a week and a half.Â
He was tired because he hadnât been sleeping, and he couldnât sleep because every time he tried to close his eyes all he could see was you on these dates. Replaying them in his mindâs eye wondering what the outcome would have been had they not gone so terribly wrong each time.
The what-ifs swarming around his brain day and night like agitated hornets.
While he had been quick to apologize for being a dick, the sharp pain that settled behind his sternum wouldnât subside no matter how much he had tried to rub it away.
He didnât know what was more unbearable, the idea of losing you to a chance encounter of circumstance. Some meet cute courtesy of the universe that he couldnât see coming until it was too late, when itâs already too far out of his hands and out of his control. To see you grinning that smile so bright, the one so wide it made your dimples appear, as you introduced that guy to him.Â
Or sitting here night after night analyzing every little thing as you date the people some of his closest friends had picked out for you. Watching and hoping that these dates would just be funny stories you told on drunken nights out rather than the story told at your wedding about the night that everything changed when you met your person. Of having to be happy for you even as you pull away from him.
His ears were ringing and heâd felt his stomach drop.Â
He could see it now, a day when your life ran parallel to his rather than entwined as he was used to. Of you with a partner. With children. Of him as âUncleâ Rooster, demoted to the rank of âlongtime friend of the familyâ rather than a core member of it.Â
The thought of it making him feel sick.Â
All evening he had been moving around like a ghost completely lost to the thoughts in his head, but now it felt like heâd been shocked by a live wire. Heâd pretty much jumped out of the chair he had just settled in, almost knocking the beers in front of him off the table completely.Â
âI want in, Iâll do it,â heâd blurted out, interrupting the conversations that had continued on around him while he had been spiraling. âThis whole thing has been a complete shit show. I canât watch this anymore. I know a guy, Iâll set it up. Iâm in.âÂ
His hands were sweating as he hoped no one would call his bluff. Heâd made it a point to actively avoid looking at you. You had such an uncanny way of reading him.Â
âI donât know, Bradshaw. Youâre a little late to the game, arenât you? Iâve been saving the best for last, and Iâm ready to collect my winnings.â Heâd expected some shit from Hangman, but he never would have guessed itâd come from Phoenix.Â
Feeling his anger flare up, he reached into his back pocket and fished out a $100 bill from his worn leather wallet, double the original entry fee. He slapped it down on the table, leaving no room for any further discussion, âIâm the one setting her up for the next date.âÂ
Heâd caught a look between Hangman and Phoenix, but he couldnât be bothered to read into it as he tried to keep his temper in check. Â
He wouldnât lose you. Not to someone who didnât deserve you, especially when he already knew the person who could make you happy.
âAlrighty,â Jake had drawled out, as he pocked the bill. âLooks like we have another player. I look forward to taking your money.âÂ
Heâd extended his hand out and theyâd all shook on it, reaching Phoenix last her grip firm and her smile sharp. And that was that.Â
Now he was here at the new popular restaurant heâd heard you talking about a few weeks ago, his feet cemented to the tiles beneath him just gazing at you.Â
He could tell from where he was standing behind you that you were nervous by the way you were opening and closing apps without truly looking at anything. He knew it was a habit of yours when you were feeling anxious, something for your hands to do as you tried to distract yourself.
He had sweet talked the hostess over the phone into reserving the best spot on the outdoor terrace, and you looked so beautiful sitting there wearing his new favorite color. Your hair is held back by a delicate golden clip on one side leaving the line of your neck exposed, the sea breeze picking up a few wisps. It makes his teeth ache with want.
He knew you were gorgeous, heâd stared down enough men at the Hard Deck to know that others thought so too. However, heâd never let himself sit with those thoughts for too long, not trusting himself to keep his mind from wandering.Â
You were his best friend.Â
And best friends donât think about how the other would look so perfect in their bed, that pretty green dress forgotten on the floor.Â
Best friends donât think about how perfect you would look under his arm.
Best friends donât think about how perfect you would look with his ring on your finger.
Best friends donât think about how perfect you are for him.
Best friends donât think about how perfect he is for you.
Him.
It was a good thing he didnât want to just be your best friend anymore.Â
Heâd already done too much thinking, done too much waiting. He wasnât going to miss his moment.Â
Taking one more deep breath, he made his way to you.
âRooster? What are you doing here?â He was the last person youâd expected to see when you turned your head to see who had been trying to get your attention, âAre you ok? Whatâs wrong?â
Did he get emergency orders? Did your date get in an accident?Â
Your anxiousness was quickly morphing into panic, youâre already half way out of your seat when he puts his hand on your shoulder, his thumb stroking the skin there reassuringly.Â
He is standing there looking completely at ease, as if he belonged there, âNothingâs wrong, sweet girl.âÂ
And there it was again, you hadnât been sure if your ears were playing tricks on you the first time heâd said it. That simple term of endearment silencing the alarm bells that were going off in your head, the edges of the lush restaurant softening around everything except him.
âYour mom always called me that,â you say softly.Â
You cherished all the memories you had with Carole, the woman who had been such a significant figure in your life for so long. You knew your mom still sent Rooster a cake every year to celebrate her birthday from whatever bakery was closest to wherever he was stationed.Â
âI know, I remember,â his voice so warm and deep, âShe loved you.âÂ
He says it so simply, so sincerely. As if his presence here hasnât just completely untethered you and sent you adrift in a sea of bewilderment.
The writhing snake that had made a home all day in the pit of your stomach finally disappeared, only to be replaced with the fluttering of wings that you were desperately trying to ignore.Â
Youâd been so shocked when Rooster had exclaimed that he was going to set you up with someone, your mind had been whirling so much at the time you could barely focus on anything that had been said in the aftermath of his announcement. Maybe you had missed some caveat heâd come up with for his participation in the bet? That could make sense, considering how adamant he had always been in the past about never getting involved in your love life.Â
He was standing there looking so good in his best short-sleeved button up shirt, the one that was scattered with vibrant palm leaves that fit snugly against his body. And wearing the white slacks that usually had you looking anywhere else in the room to avoid acknowledging the way they clung to your best friendâs thighs and ass. If only he knew how weak they made you.Â
There just has to be a logical reason for why heâs here, but the soft smile on his face was rendering your brain uncooperative.Â
You were getting tired of feeling like you were missing something that should be so obvious, âMy date is supposed to be here soon, are you going to hover in the back like you have been at the Hard Deck? Or are you just planning on pulling up a chair and third wheeling up close and personal?âÂ
âWhy would I need an extra chair,â he asks as he pulls it out and eases his large frame down onto the wicker seat, âWhen mineâs already free?âÂ
You move to open your mouth when the waitress arrives, asking if you had your drink orders selected.Â
âIâll do the Bourbon Sidecar. You feelinâ like a gin, sweet girl?â You just nodded at him mutely, still desperately trying to catch up. âAnd the Clover Club for her, please.âÂ
Itâs what you were planning on ordering to calm your first date jitters before had Rooster arrived and sent you into a complete tailspin. He hadnât even looked at the thick textured cardstock of the drink menus that were strategically placed just to the right of the golden soup spoons on the artfully laid out table.Â
The butterflies were threatening to break free from the tightly locked cage you had attempted to shove them in.Â
The waitress took down the drinks, and you watched her as she crossed the patio pausing to tap away on the screen of their POS, trying to give yourself a few more moments to collect your thoughts.Â
âBradley. I donât understand, whatâs going on?â Heâs sitting there looking so secure, so steadfast, so sure.Â
His cheek ticks up, âI like it when you call me Bradley. Why did you stop calling me that when you moved out here?âÂ
âYouâre avoiding the question.â
âWhy did you stop calling me Bradley when you moved out here?â he asks again, leaning in. How does he expect you to answer a question, when your mind is going 1,190 miles an hour?Â
âI donât know,â you start with a halfhearted shrug. âYouâve made a name for yourself in the Navy, you are âRoosterâ to everyone here.â You open your mouth to say more, before closing it quickly.
âThereâs more going on in that head,â you feel his foot reach out tapping against yours under the table, before leaving it there a steady presence. âTell me.â
You know you can tell him anything, but this feels different.
The intensity of his stare has you fighting the flush you feel spreading across your cheeks.
It wasnât something that youâd ever given much thought to before, but you know if you answer truthfully now that heâs asked you itâs going to leave you feeling more exposed than youâve ever been with him.Â
You sit up more fully in your chair deciding to be brave, âI mean, we havenât really truly been in the same place since we were teens, and things are so different now. It was easier to start calling you âRoosterâ or âBradshawâ like everyone else, because it didnât make me feel like I was piece from a different puzzle trying to force myself into a new picture. I wanted to fit into the life that youâve built here, to feel like I still have a place with you as you are now.â
Youâre actively fighting to keep your eyes on his. It would be so easy to look away or to laugh off your confession, but for whatever reason, you donât want to take the easy out.Â
âI never knew you felt like that, but I wish I had,â the look in his eyes is softer than anything youâve ever seen from him before. âI like being Bradley to you, I want to be Bradley to you. You arenât just a piece to me, youâre the whole picture. Youâve always had a place here, exactly as you are you are now.â
Itâs never been like this between the two of you. It feels like you both are saying too much and not enough all at the same time. As much as you find yourself wanting to sink into these intoxicating yet unfamiliar feelings, you know youâre still holding yourself back.
God, he is so handsome. You had been right, the sunset that was just starting was stunning, but the way golden beams were hitting the lightened strands of his curls was spectacular.
Youâre almost too afraid to ask, but itâs unbearable not knowing, âWhy are you here right now, Bradley?â
Of course, the waitress chooses that moment to return with the drinks.Â
She sets them down in front of you, the skewered raspberries sitting daintily on the side of your glass are suddenly the most fascinating thing in the room. You vaguely hear him saying you both need more time and that heâll flag her down when youâre ready to order.Â
He waits for her to leave to attend to her other tables before turning his heady gaze on you once again.
âI thought Iâve been making my intentions pretty clear here, sweet girl.âÂ
He takes a sip of his Sidecar before continuing, the slight bounce of his leg the only thing giving him away that he might not be as self-assured as youâd originally thought, âIâm here for our date.â
Thereâs no hope of containing the butterflies now. Youâre a lost cause.Â
âBradley.â You can only imagine the emotions he is reading on your face. It would absolutely break your heart if this was some kind of bad joke.
âHeâll never love you like I can.âÂ
âWhat?â you ask sounding every bit as dazed as you feel.
âSorry, sorry,â he says shaking his head slightly, huffing out a little laugh at himself, âI got ahead of myself.ïżœïżœ
You watch as he resituates himself in the chair, wiping his hands on the front of his slacks before restarting.Â
âWatching you on those dates has been hell, I donât want to be jealous of some guy you gave a second glance. I donât want hold back, not when we can be so much more,â he reaches across the table, taking your hand between his two large ones, âI thought having you as a friend was enough for me, but how am I supposed to sleep at night knowing that I could be the one who makes you happy and then do nothing about it? That Iâm the only one who can love you the way you deserve to be loved?â
Youâve always known heâs cared for you, that was unquestionable, but to be loved by Bradley Bradshaw? It was something youâd never let yourself imagine, let alone dared to hope to for. It had been kinder to spare yourself from the heartache that came with hope. But now? With him sitting right here in front of you saying you could have him like this?
Was this how he felt flying in his F-18 every day?
He gets up and rounds the table coming to your side, hooking an ankle around the tapered leg of your chair pulling you out a bit. Youâre suddenly very thankful for the probably-too-expensive-and-probably-too-provocative for a first date dress you purchased when you see the way his rich brown eyes turn molten as he gets a glimpse of your exposed thigh.
He settles into a crouch before you, his warm hands seeking out both of yours, âYou donât need Phoenix or anyone else to set you up, because heâll never love you like I can. Let me show you how good it can be. Let me be it for you, sweet girl.â
The man in front of you is everything you could have ever possibly wanted for yourself. And to be the one who could get to keep him forever? Thereâs no doubt in your mind, itâs worth everything.
Youâre sure you will have to have a more serious conversation about what this means for the two of you, but that can wait for another time when heâs not in front of you with his eyes so earnest. So hopeful. To another time when heâs not wearing his heart on his sleeve as he patiently waits for any kind of response from you.
It would be so easy to lean in and kiss him right now.Â
So easy to learn what that mustache would feel like against your skin.Â
To learn how his lips and tongue would feel against your own.Â
To learn how his mouth would move with yours.
But whatâs a couple more hours when youâve had years to build up to it.
âWell then, Lieutenant. I guess you better show me how itâs done,â you bring your hand up to cup his face, your thumb gently stroking along his cheekbone. âBut Iâm warning you now, I fully intended to give you as good as I get.âÂ
Being on the receiving end of a Rooster smile was something special, but it had nothing on the beaming grin that Bradley Bradshaw is giving you now.Â
âI wouldnât expect anything else from you,â he says as he lands a lingering kiss on your cheek before standing and pushing your chair back in for you. âYouâve always known how to keep me on my toes.â
He returns back to his surprisingly comfortable wooden wicker chair, stretching his leg to rest it against yours. When the waitress comes back you both end up picking your meals at random, having been too absorbed with each other to actually bother reading the menu.Â
Youâd barely eaten all day because of the knots in your stomach, and now you were starving. Thankfully, Bradley at least had the commonsense to ask the waitress to pick her favorite dish as a third entrĂ©e âfor the tableâ.
It feels the same in many ways, he knows what to say to make you laugh and what to bring up to get you fired up. And you know what questions to ask to keep him talking and how to push his buttons just right.Â
But itâs also different when he doesnât bother to hide his knowing smirk every time he catches you looking at his lips. And itâs even better when you donât bother trying to hide yours when you catch him doing the same.
Afterwards, he takes your hand in his as you slowly make your way to the parking lot, his fingers lacing between your own. He surprises you when he leans against the Bronco, murmuring something about not wanting to let your pretty dress get dirty. His long legs extended wide as an invitation for you to come stand between them, his strong hands stroking the silky material of your dress on your hips as you step closer.Â
Youâve been ignoring the pull low in your stomach all evening, the tension between you two the most luscious feeling youâve ever experienced. The combination of his heat, his woodsy smell, the headiness of his gaze on you almost too overwhelming.Â
Almost.
Your hands settle on his broad chest, playing with the button of his shirt now a bit nervous. Your faces closer than youâve ever allowed them to be before. If what youâre hearing is the sound of the waves or the roaring of the blood in your ears, you couldnât say.
You know he is waiting for you to make the first move. You see the moment when heâs about to say something, knowing him the words would be wonderfully reassuring and perfectly Bradley.
Why would you want to talk when his mouth was already waiting like a question. Why would you want to talk when you could learn what itâs like kiss him instead?
So you do.
When your lips meet his for the first time it feels like the sweetest kind of devotion.Â
bradleybradleybradley
His mustache scratching satisfyingly at the skin of your upper lip. His mouth tasting like the Sidecars he sipped on throughout the night and something that was just fundamentally Bradley.Â
Your hand moves on its own to stroke the side of his neck, your fingers seeking out the line of the longest scar that adorns his skin there from that night all those years ago.Â
Your heart is beating wildly in your chest as he licks his lips before bringing his face down to yours again. Your other hand tightly clutching his shirt in anticipation.
Heâs always been so in tune with you, so when he tilts your head just right before leaning into the kiss it feels like a homecoming.Â
thisthisthis
One of Bradleyâs hands makes its way up your back, pressing you closer to him as the other bands more securely around your waist. And when his tongue skims your lower lip, you sigh into his waiting mouth thankful for his strong grasp on you.Â
Nothing your mind could have imagined would have ever come close to the perfection that is Bradley Bradshawâs mouth moving against yours. Nothing has ever felt so good, so right.
When he pulls away, youâre both over fighting back the smiles that feel like have been permanently fixed on your faces all evening.
âIâm donât want to call it a night yet,â he tells you, as he brushes the hair back from your face. His smile turning playful, âWhat do you say, kid? Wanna go get some milkshakes?â
âDepends,â you reply cheekily, âCan I drink it in the Bronco?â
Wrapping both arms around his neck you draw him back in towards you again.
âAnything you want, sweet girl,â he promises against your lips.
The next night at the Hard Deck, you entered the bar with Bradleyâs arm draped your shoulders.Â
His team whooping loudly when you pull him in for a kiss as he handed you a Blue Moon. Theyâd declared the drinks were on Bradley that night as theyâd swarmed you both in celebration. Maverick pulls you aside to give you a warm hug, whispering âI knew youâd get hereâ in your ear before releasing you.
Now that you had let yourselves cross that line from friends to more, the pair of you are entirely too aware of the other. Never content to be too far away from the other. Your eyes like magnets, each seeking out the other to find them already looking back.
Thereâs nothing friendly about the way he has his hands on your waist. Nothing neighborly in the way his hands rub your shoulders. Nothing platonic in the way he rests one hand on the back of your neck, his thumb making teasing circles.
And thereâs nothing friendly about the way you run your hands through his curls when heâs at the piano. Nothing neighborly in the way you slide your hand into his back pocket. Nothing platonic in the way you rest your hand on his chest, your finger tracing the line of his collarbone.Â
It has always been so easy with him, even as you explore in this new area of your relationship.
Youâd been orbiting around each other all night, when Jake yelled out to heckle you both about indecent exposure, threatening to call his cop friend if Bradley didnât âget his ass over to the pool table in the next thirty seconds.â
Heâd peppered your face with kisses before youâd shooed him away, laughing when you realized he had swiped your beer and had taken it with him.
âSo you and Bradshaw,â Natasha states as she settles down next to you.
That makes you smile.
âYeah, me and Bradley.âÂ
How could you have possibly thought youâd want anyone else other than him? You were a goner from the moment youâd turned and saw him standing there at the restaurant. Your golden boy.
You turn towards her, putting a hand on her arm, âIâm sorry that you didnât get a fair shot at the bet. I really do appreciate the effort you all went through. I mean, Bradley would have had it in the bag anyways. But stillââ
âOh, donât worry about it,â she waves a hand, cutting you off, âWe had a team meeting and changed the rules of the bet anyways. I still won, so itâs all good.â Her smile was nothing less than mischievous.Â
âWait, what?âÂ
âWe could all see from Roosterâs reaction during that disaster of a first date with all the dogs that he was completely hung up on you. We didnât want to wait for him to figure it out, so we decided to adjust the terms a bit to help him out,â she laughs at your clearly baffled expression. âWe reached out to the cringiest people we knew and set you up with them instead. And then took bets on how long it would take Rooster to get his head out of his ass and go get his girl.â
âOh my god, seriously?â The revelation has you bursting out in laughter.
âYep, well except for Bob. His date was a genuine accident, bless him. Iâll be honest, I didnât even bother reaching out to anyone. I was betting on Rooster getting it together before I needed to step in,â she explains while wearing the most self-satisfied smirk on her face.
Of course Natasha Trace had bet on him. On you.
You couldnât wait to tell Bradley how you had both been so absolutely played by his team.Â
You loved these people. You loved your life here in San Diego.Â
âIâd apologize for putting you through all that, but it looks like it worked out well in the end,â she says knowingly nodding her head towards him.Â
Youâre fully watching him now as he bends over the pool table looking amused at something that Hangman says.Â
Bradley looks up catching your eye and shoots a wink in your direction, a grin taking over his whole face. You already know youâre wearing a matching one.
âI wouldnât change a single thing.â

A reality TV show about the Olympians removing problematic elements like sexual assault.
Every episode opens with a shot of a bedroom. Zeus pops up from under the covers, accompanied by a woman. Each episode it is a different woman. And it can NEVER be Hera.
Since Hades isnât an Olympian he doesnât have a throne on Olympus so every time thereâs a meeting and heâs there they give him a makeshift throne. And as the series continues his âthroneâ gets more and more ridiculous. At first it starts off as a fancy chair, then it becomes a basic chair, a beanbag chair, a pre-schooler chair that he can barely sit on, a yoga ball, a mechanical bull, a giant rubber ducky, a bucket, etc.
Hermes and Dionysius need to initiate 90% of the drama. I can 100% see one of them going âHey uncle P I think I saw Amphitrite walking away from fatherâs bed chambers.â Which is definitely not true, but they live for chaos. Poseidon, Zeus, and Hera all try to kill each other. And after starting drama Hermes and Dionysius just sit back, sipping wine, and eating popcorn as everyone tries to kill each other.
At some point Poseidon is chilling out with someone and thereâs a knock on the door, the other person goes to answer it and comes back. Poseidon is all like âwho was it?â And the other person says âoh donât worry about it. It was nobodyâ and Poseidon has an aneurysm.
Hades and Hestia are the unproblematic characters. Hestia wishes everyone could get along and all Hades wants to do is avoid is crazy relatives, hide in the underworld with his wife, and pet his doggo.

Javi had never been heartless before. Never been cruel before. Now, as you pointedly hunched over your desk in an effort to ignore the chortles and cheap jokes that kept sounding from the men crowded around his desk as they all stood around a nameless note someone -you- had slipped onto his desk.Â
He laughed boisterously with them, before crumpling the paper in his fist and dropping it into the bin next to his chair. You refused to so much as raise your head and look his way, feeling the crushing wave of heartbreak sweeping through you. It wasnât until you felt a tear on your cheek that you realised that you had started crying, and so you muttered an excuse about getting some coffee before rushing to the bathroom and sobbing in a closed stall. So much for Valentineâs day.Â
It wasnât until the end of the day, when you saw him walking your way in the parking lot, that you met his eyes. And you could see, with the set of his jaw; the arch of his brows, that he knew. Before you could scramble into your car, he was yelling after you.Â
âIs your new hobby being extended to everyone or did I win the lucky draw? Cute note.âÂ
Oh, that bastard.Â
You scoffed, looking him straight in the eye. âCall it a moment of weakness, Peña. Thought I felt something for you, and it was Valentineâs day. Pretty sure all I feel now is rage, you asshole.âÂ
A laugh from him. âDonât be like that, hermosa. Let me know if you feel something between your legs for me, alright?â
Scowling, you turned from him and got into your car. You could have sworn he looked like a kicked puppy as you pulled out of the parking. These past few weeks, you had caught him looking at you more often. Finding excuses to touch you more often, too. A hand on your back, fingers accidentally grazing yours, his knee pressed against your thigh in Murphyâs backseat. Fucking idiot. You didnât even know if you were madder at him or yourself. You know him. All of fucking Bogota knows him. God knows how you were foolish enough to think he felt anything except for between his legs.Â
A few months go by, excruciatingly slowly. Itâs as if time itself has decided to fuck with you. You miss his gaze on you, his hands, his smile, him. Youâve been avoiding him like the plague. Stopped looking at him even when he was in the same room, hardly spoke to him even if it was in the middle of a raid, declined Connieâs many many invitations to parties you knew heâd be at. It was just easier to pretend that February the 14th had been a completely normal day. Youâre just tired of all of it. It would have been easier not to have said anything at all.Â
What you were completely unaware of, however, was that you had a sneaky little shit for a partner. The fact that he had clocked what was going on immediately was completely unbeknownst to you. Both of you pining silently with what Steve dubbed âmoony heart eyesâ, the radio silence, and the fact that you had stopped talking to Connie just so you didnât have to show up to her parties? Something had gone wrong. Initially, Steve thought that maybe Javi had made an unwanted move on you - and had damn near scuffed him to death - until he saw Javiâs eyes the next day. Haunted. It seemed that you had managed to take more out of the man than Escobar had. But you werenât faring much better, either. Irritated and tired and grumbly all the time, refusing to so much as look in Javiâs direction. But you both were pretty much just staying out of each otherâs ways, not causing any trouble, so he let it go. For now.Â
But then Steve and Javi had to chase a lead down together, and Javi introduced him to an informant who - with a little imagination - looked like your spitting image. The same hair, terrifying similar voice, and a lopsided grin, just like yours. And it clicked. The day that had started it all, and the âanonymousâ note Javi had gotten. The idiocy with which you both had handled the situation made him want to run unarmed into a sicarioâs den, but he came up with another idea instead.Â
Just before a weekend he knew on good authority that you had no plans except for lounging in bed, he started nudging and hinting to Javi the randomest shit about you. Just to reignite the interest. Almost like, you know - bait.Â
âMan, her hair looks good. I wonder if she got it done?â
âHey Peña, dâya reckon thatâs a new skirt? Connieâd kill me if I didnât ask where fromâ
âJavi - look - she got her nails done. Before an op? Doesnât that get a bitâŠimpractical? Hey, Iâm jusâ asking.âÂ
Each time, Steve was met with an irritated eyeroll, scoff, or just flat-out ignored. But around midnight on Friday, he âbust out the big gunsâ, so to speak, making an offhanded comment while jutting his chin out in the direction of your chair.Â
âGood thing she left early. Never woulda made it to the date tomorrow morninâ otherwise.â
Which, instead of being met with the usual options, was met with Javiâs brain almost short circuiting. The sight of his friend, gaping like a fish as his eyes practically bulged out of his head while he stammered out the easiest one-syllable word in the English language is one Steve can never forget. Or let Javi forget, either.Â
âW-wha-what?â
And so, like the most devious matchmaker on the planet, Steve proceeded to make up some utter bullshit about a boy heâd supposedly seen you around with, one that had apparently asked you out tonight to meet him for âbrunchâ tomorrow. Just to fuck with Javi, he made the guy from LA, and a tourist. And white. And the kinda hippie who did yoga and spoke about his newly-discovered chakras all the time.Â
Javier could feel the blind panic clawing at his chest, his heart threatening to burst. He didnât know exactly why, but he had hated every single second you hadnât spoken to him. Laughed at his jokes. Flashed him your smile, even the sarcastic one. He missed your quips and the way you groaned and swore at him when he pissed you off. Heâd convinced himself he could live with that. But this? A date with some idiot he knew wouldnât treat you right? He couldnât understand his own feelings compelling him to pack up in a frenzy, ignore Steveâs pointed laugh, scramble into his car and drive straight to your apartment. He didnât even stop to smooth his hair back, or fix the wrinkles in his shirt from slumping in it all day. No, all that mattered to him in that moment was you. Who was he kidding? He knew exactly why he felt the way he did. Heâd just been under the illusion that ignoring it would make it go away, but it hadnât. He had to fix this now.Â
Standing on your doorstep, Javi blinked for a second while marveling at how fast that drive had been - heâd barely registered doing anything since he heard the word date come out of Steveâs mouth. Hesitation clamped a hand over his mouth, his body, and he stood frozen, unsure of whether to knock or just turn around. But if not now, never, right? And who knew how long he would live? Wasnât this a time he should be getting what he wants, spending time with the people heâŠloves?Â
Before he could overthink himself out of doing it, Javi raised his fist and rapped it against your door, twice. And when you opened the door, rubbing your eyes and standing there in your sleep shorts and an oversized shirt, it took a second for his brain to catch up. It wasnât until you were squinting at him, then stumbling over nothing as your eyes widened that he realised where he was. The hurt on your face in the split second before you moved to close the door had him jamming his foot in the doorframe.Â
âJust hear me out, hermosa. I promise if you want me to fuck off after that, I will.âÂ
After waiting for you to nod and open your door wordlessly, he stalked after you, further into your apartment, stunned by how homely it was. The walls had pictures of you and other people laughing, of art and paintings and sketches that seemed to all have been done by the same person; the sofa was a rich brown leather and the fluffy throw on it just a shade lighter. Everything was carefully coordinated, in color and texture, and he couldnât help but note the contrast. Some of his stuff was still in boxes. Heâd been in Colombia for longer than you, and his stuff was still in boxes. The difference was laughable.Â
But when he heard a sniffle from ahead, he found himself walking faster - practically walking into you - before he was planting his hands on your shoulders to turn you around to him, and then gripping the sides of your arms as if they were his salvation. His eyes searched yours, and the heartbreak he found as you tried to look away threatened to make his knees buckle. So he hooked an index finger under your chin to tilt your head up to him, resting his forehead against yours. Moving his thumb to smooth out the furrow in your brow, he huffed at the stubborn frown that refused to budge.Â
âI am sorry. I truly am. I didnât know what to do, I didnât know how to react. I want you, and I did then, too. But I justâŠdidnât think it was real. I swear I thought you were joking at first. Itâs why I let the guys see. Then I saw you in the parking lot, and you were actually sad, and I just panicked. I just donât think I was ready back then. But I swear to God, I canât bear another six months of the cold shoulder. I love you, you know. Iâve just been too much of an idiot to realise it.âÂ
For a whole minute, you just stare at him unblinkingly. Then, suddenly, your face crumples, limbs slackening in his grip. He holds you through it, letting you sob into his chest as he coos reassurances and apologies to you until you pull back from his embrace to look at him questioningly once more.Â
âWhy now?â Your words make Javi smile, and he cocks a brow at you.Â
âYou really thought Iâd let that idiot take you out before I told you how I feel?âÂ
You look even more confused now, which is confusing him in turn.Â
âWait, what idiot?â Thereâs no twinkle in your eye - no smirk tugging at your lips. Not a joke.Â
âThe one whoâŠasked you out?â Javi cocks his head at you, watching your frown deepen.Â
âWho?â The absolute befuddlement on your face is on the verge of making him snigger, and he feels his lips twitching already.Â
âThe-does Murphy know? That you werenât busy tonight?â His overworked mind supplies the answer to him, and he has never more in his life wanted to punch and hug his other partner simultaneously.Â
âOh, yeah. He asked cause Connie wanted to know if she could come over? I guess she must have gotten caught- oh. Oh.â Javi gives you a moment to reach the same conclusion he did, and both of you end up bursting out in laughter at the same time.Â
But Steve was the one with the biggest grin when, come Monday morning, a bottle of premium whiskey and a brand new watch sat on his desk with a little note:Â
Well played, motherfucker.Â
What is it they say about couples adopting each otherâs habits when they get into a relationship? Javiâd picked up your so-called hobbies within a weekend.Â
You ended up spending enough time with each other to pick up everything else, too. Call it clichĂ©, but atleast you werenât boring. Or, you know, going on dates with imaginary guys that existed only in Steveâs extremely limited imagination. Win-win.Â

But I am the luckiest guy
Not the loneliest guy in the world
- David Bowie, The Loneliest Guy
What the hell were you doing?Â
Sitting at a bar, which was mistake number two. One of many, for that matter. The third was ordering a drink you knew you wouldnât drink but had picked when panic swooped over you as the bartender walked up. The red liquid looked quite pretty, but you could smell the alcohol the second the girl put the glass in front of you. An attempt at a sip was made, and you brought it to your lips, but the bitterness overwhelmed you.Â
There was one thing you had gotten right, and that was at least picking a bar that wasnât crowded. The music played at just the right volume, and people kept to themselves, to their booths and their tables. You tried to let your mind wander off, not to overthinkâ that would only cause more anxietyâ but it always went back to what the people around you were talking about. You never meant to be nosy, and you never butted in⊠but it was entertaining what random strangers had to say to each other.
â Youâre shitting me.Â
â No, Iâm serious. Sarah told me herself. She walked in, and there he was, fucking their pool boy.Â
The table behind you erupted in a chorus of gasps.Â
â Poor Sarah, though.Â
â Yeah, well, she had been sleeping with her yoga instructor.Â
How were people so comfortable talking about such things in public? Where everyone could listen in? You almost felt bad for this Sarah that her complicated marriage was being shared with the entirety of this small bar, surely then retold all across the city.
You glanced around you, side to side. The bar counter was quite long, with enough space for eight barstools to stand next to each other. Besides yours, four more were occupied. Having opted for the last chair, you were worried about someone sitting on one of your neighbouring chairs, but luck had been in your favour.
That is, until he showed up.Â
Your first, and probably, the biggest mistake that you made that night.
â€
From the second that Eddie sat down beside her, he could tell something was wrong. He always could with such things. As well as assume what might have been the cause of the problem.Â
Her eyes widened, nearly doubled in size, as he sat down next to her. He couldnât have made a mistake; she had sent what she would look like and be wearing, and the description was accurate. She should have known what Eddie would look like as well; thatâs basically what the whole selection was based on, look, and yet⊠the way she stared at him⊠he had the urge to wave his hand in front of her to make sure she wasnât going into shock.Â
âHey,â instead, he opted for a kind smile as he leaned against the bar, asking for a quick confirmation of her name, and took a moment to take her in properly while she defrosted and returned to reality. She was cute, to his surprise, definitely not the type he would usually be coming across these nights. Pretty and young, but mostly, shy. The bar was definitely not in her comfort zone, and he had picked up on that the second he noticed het sitting there, back stiff in nerves, drink untouched except for the little straw she stirred around in circles mindlessly. At first, he thought, maybe itâs all an act. The shy and naive girl next door, he was into it, but no. Now he knew better; she was terrified.Â
A few seconds later, when his eyes moved back up to her face, she spoke her first words.Â
âWho are you?â
â€
There had been a mistake. There must have been. Whoever the guy sitting next to you was, he was not the guy you had paid for.Â
Jesus that sounded so stupid. How could you have been so dumb thinking it was a good idea to hire a guy for the night. As if that would make you feel better, make all your problems disappear.Â
The man blinked in confusion. Your reaction had clearly been a surprise. As he stumbled over his words, you took him in quickly.Â
Long brown hair fell over his shoulders in messy waves. He had layered up, but not for practicality. You couldnât see how the leather jacket or the denim vest over a thin t-shirt would help him against the evening cold, not to mention his ribbed jeans. Overall he looked like he had been directly cut out of an 80s rock magazine. Sure, some women must be into that kind of look; you couldnât even deny he was pretty attractive, but it was not what you had wanted. Not for now. You needed something simple. Comfortable. Easy.
Those large rings and metal chains were most definitely not comfortable. Or simple. Or easy.Â
Oh god.Â
â€
âIâm Eddie,â he stated, hoping it would clear something up, but her confused stare didnât falter. âDidnât you bookâŠâ Eddie knew all the people around him were poking their noses into everyoneâs business, so he tried to pick his words wisely, â... the appointment?â Fuck, did he walk up to the wrong girl? He knew it would have been too good to be true to get an actual girl his age. People always lied on these forms. He was ready to apologise and walk away, but she answered.Â
âI did.â Her eyes wavered again over him. âBut not you. There must have been some kind of mistake, IââÂ
âIs everything good here?â The bartender walked up, towel across her shoulder, her piercing blue eyes digging right through Eddie. Her question had been directed at the girl, and she nodded quickly.Â
âAll good, just a little misunderstanding.âÂ
âAlright then,â The bartender sent Eddie another suspicious look before heading to the other side of the counter to take another order. This was fucking fantastic. Yeah, just great.Â
â€
âOk, so who did you think you were meeting?â Eddie asked when the woman behind the bar walked away, slightly backing away from you, letting his shoulders fall.
You tried to remember the name of the guy who caught your attention last evening. Would the name mean anything to Eddie? You didnât expect all these guys to hang around together...
âShit, yeah, ok, that makes sense.â You could see all the puzzle pieces coming together behind his eyes. âHeâs out on a date tonight as well. They must have sent us each otherâs⊠wait,â he quickly grabbed his phone.Â
â€
Eddie searched through his emails. It didnât take long to ignore the few spam messages he had gotten since this morning. And there it was. The booking confirmation he had received. Having gotten them so often, he had read it on autopilot, not even realising that his own name was missing. All he had needed, he thought, was his clientâs information. But there it was, literally the first two words of the email: Dear SteveâŠÂ
Oh, the office would have a field day with this.Â
But some of him also could not wait to ask Steve how his date went.Â
â€
âYeah, they fucked it up,â after a few seconds, Eddie had turned his phone around to show you an email. Even though you only needed the first two words to understand the mistake that occurred, you took the time to read as much of it as possible to make sure it was real. From what you could tell, it seemed legit. Just what business operated solemnly through emails⊠and apparently, not even automated ones.Â
âIâm really sorry for the inconvenience,â Eddie apologised as he pulled his phone back and placed it into his pocket. âI can call the office and get you a refund. I promise you that this is usually nothing of the standard we usually operate at.â You appreciated his professionalism. Despite never thinking you were that judgemental, perhaps you had actually judged him a bit too harshly at first glance. And he was quite attractiveâŠÂ
âNo, wait,â you stopped him before he could dial the number of his boss, or whoever was in charge. âUhm⊠did your⊠friend⊠send you something? About his date?â Steve was now, of course, also on the wrong job. Eddie looked up at you for a second, before glancing down again at his phone to check his notifications.Â
âNo, havenât heard anything from him. I guess the other person didnât seem to care which one of us they got.â he chuckled, which surprised you. Did other people not care about who they slept with? You get to pick a person for a reason, donât you?Â
âI donât need a refund.â You stated after a short moment. Eddie glanced up once more.
âAre you sure? Itâs a lot of moneyââÂ
âNo, I mean, I would like to continue the night⊠with you.â This was, for sure, getting out of your comfort zone, right? Being adventurous, getting a life, all that shit your friends nagged you about for years. Eddie smiled with the corner of his mouth.Â
âAlright then, would you like to get out of here?âÂ
âYes, please,â you let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, the volume in the space picked up quite a lot as more people entered, drowning out your conversation, but it was getting a bit too much for you. âJust⊠one minute.â you stood up, heading to the bathroom, but Eddie called your attention for one more second.Â
âYou forgot your purse.â he looked down at the ground where your bag was lying. You gave him an awkward smile and picked it up before making your way to the back of the bar.
Closing the stall door behind you, you wished for some decent internet; thankfully, it wasnât the worst. You didnât bother trying to be quick about it. There was no doubt in your mind that he knew you were looking him up online. With shaking hands, you typed in the name of the agency where you had found Steve. They had a list of all their âmodelsâ, as they nicely labelled them, and you scrolled through them. There was the guy you had planned on spending the night with. You had picked him because he looked sweet, and hot, obviously, but with enough cockiness thrown in the mix to tell you he knew what he was doing. And the little sales pitch the website had written up for him to sell the fantasy worked well. You didnât bother rereading it now, but it was something to do with âthe sweet jock that knows how to take care of his girlâ. It was extremely cheesy, you were more than aware of that, but cheesy was good. It was safe.Â
Your friends would have probably laughed at you.Â
They probably would have picked out a guy like Eddie.Â
Speaking of the guy waiting for you at the bar, you found his profile. First thing first, the picture. That was definitely him; you recognised the unruly dark hair and brown eyes. He had several photos posted in his profile, like most of the men on the website, and they were of semi-professional quality: self-taken, but with a very nice camera and lighting. He had put effort into his presentation. First, there was the portrait, showing his handsome face, shirtless but cropped to the shoulder, revealing enough of the silver chain around his neck but not showing what was actually hanging off it.Â
The following picture was a full-body pose, with clothes on that were not significantly different from the ones he was wearing now. No denim vest, but a different leather jacket on top of a black shirt. Dark denim jeans with a belt, buckled by what looked like to be steel handcuffs⊠had he been wearing that tonight as well?Â
Your throat tightened up as you swiped to the next post, which was, of course, the obligatory nude. All the âmodelsâ had to have them, since that was basically what people paid for. If it wasnât for the fact that the site saw itself as one of the âclassierâ agencies out there, the naked pictures would have been the only ones available. You, for one, appreciated the variety.Â
Eddie was posed on a bed, on his knees. With one hand in his hair, and the other over his thigh, he didnât leave anything to the imagination. Despite not even looking at the camera, the smug smile on his face told you he knew exactly what he was doing. He got you looking, and he knew you liked it. Yet, what you couldnât stop looking at were the tattoos that covered his pale skin. Dozens of them, at least, varying in size and style, covering most of his arms, upper legs, ribsâŠ
You scrolled on, remembering he was still waiting for you outside, but the next picture didnât make anything better.Â
It had been a session shot. You had stumbled across similar ones on your initial look at the website. The men posing out the act of some kind of intercourse. Different positions, different actions, whatever described their style in the profession. For Eddie, that included the shot of a naked woman in bed, the same bed in which he had taken the previous picture. Her limbs were spread apart, tied to the bed corners. Her eyes were covered with a black and white bandana, and the rest of the features tightened in bliss as Eddie was positioned between her legs. His mouth was right at her core. If that wasnât enough, he had put some props up on display next to the woman; some extra handcuffs, a vibrator and what you assumed to be a flogger.Â
What the hell were you getting yourself into?
â€
She returned after a few minutes, and Eddie could immediately tell his assumption was right. The poor thing couldnât look him in the face. She sat back down on the barstool, holding onto her purse, lip between her teeth and eyes on anything but him. Yeah, she had looked him up.Â
In all honesty, he thought it was a good thing. He didnât care for people who didnât do their research into things. Saying that, as quite a spontaneous person, you couldnât jump into things head first all the time. Sometimes, it was important to test the waters. Make sure there were no sharks swimming around.
âI paid for your drink,â Eddie remembered. She looked at him, stunned.Â
âOh, you really didnât have to.â Did she seem apologetic?Â
âPlease, its the least I can do, for, you know, being the wrong guy and all.â He smiled, hoping she would return the favour. The corner of her mouth curved up the smallest amount, still quite unsure of the situation.Â
âReally, Iââ she was ready to get her wallet, most likely pay him back, but Eddie stopped her by placing his hand over hers. That made her freeze, look back up at him. Eddie felt two pairs of eyes on him. Hers, and the bartender behind him, most definitely reassessing the whole situation. Everything about this evening was going to shit. He could probably wave his perfect 5-star rating goodbye, it wouldnât be the end of the world, but he for sure as hell was not going to get put on any registers tonight. However, trying to seduce a stranger into bed with him when he is so clearly not the type for this girl⊠why was he even trying so hard?
He didnât like using the term âvanillaâ, it got too much of a bad rep, but that is what she seemed to be. Her clothes werenât flashy, not even considering for âoutgoingâ. She wasnât the type to go out and hook up, let alone get an escort. He wasnât surprised she had decided to go for a guy like Steve. But Steve wasnât here; Eddie was. He now had the job of taking care of this girl in any way she wanted him to.
âOk, shall we?â She took a deep breath as she got up.Â
âAre youââ maybe they should talk about this? He didnât want her to do anything she wasnât comfortable with.Â
âCâmon,â next thing he knew, she grabbed Eddie by the wrist and whisked him off the barstool, dragging him along outside. It was early in the year, but late in the evening. The air was crispy, and the wind blew harshly. Eddie had definitely not dressed warm enough for the night, but that would have been an understatement for her. She would freeze in a few minutes.Â
âI got a room in the hotel just across the corner,â she spoke, rather determined. Some people might have mistaken it for confidence, but Eddie saw the other signs. Her clenched jaw, her consistent avoidance of eye contact⊠she was putting on a brave face. And thatâs how people get into situations they donât want to be in.Â
If it had been warmer, he would have stopped them on the street, but he had to get her out of the cold, so he let the girl drag him across the sidewalk to the hotel's entrance. It was big. The warm lighting reflecting off of all the decor, giving it a golden glow.Â
She did not stop walking until they reached the elevator. She clicked the button, and the arrow above the doors pointed down. The numbers slowly descended from 14.Â
âI know you looked me up.â Eddie started, having no idea how to introduce the topic fluently.Â
âOk.â She was biting her lip nervously.Â
âSo I know you know what my usual gig is.â They both watched the numbers go down. 7⊠6âŠÂ
âSo weâre on the same page.â She glanced up at him; he could see it in the reflection of the metal doors.Â
âI donât think we are.â The elevator pinged open as Eddie said so. They walked inside.Â
âWhat do you mean?â She finally looked him in the eye, only momentarily, but he saw that some of her fear slowly faded as she pressed the button to her floor. 15.Â
âThat, yes, I usually am pretty rough with my clients,â he couldnât hide the smile on his face, but could anyone blame him? He enjoyed his work. âBut thatâs because they want me to be rough.â He looked at her intensely. Not to intimidate her, but to show her the seriousness of his words. âI donât do anything that you donât want me to do. You paid for an evening with⊠well, not me, but itâs all the same. If you get your moneyâs worth from a good pounding, Iâm more than happy to oblige. From cuddling and watching a movie? All fine by me.âÂ
â€
Itâs all the same.Â
But it wasnât, was it? They werenât all the same.Â
âWhat about you?â you asked just as the elevator opened on your floor. Eddie let you walk through first. Now, you couldnât look away from him, letting your head almost spin around a whole 360 to get your glance at him.Â
âWhat about me?â He had his hands in his pockets. Suddenly there didnât seem to be anything scary about him. His hair was soft. His jacket, while not exactly winter-weather proof, looked cozy. The patches on his vest were hand sawn. With an image of him sitting at home, sewing them on, one by one, you got a sudden urge to ask about them, but who did that? Surely, in your situation, questions like that were out of bounds.Â
âWhat do you like?âÂ
âThat doesnât matter,â he chuckled, which confused you.Â
âDoesnât it? I might not be the most knowledgeable about the whole sex thing, but⊠shouldnât both people involved be getting off? Doesnât that make it better?â You had reached your door. Weirdly, from having focused on the conversation as you walked, you didnât feel any nerves unlocking the door. The room was dark, and you switched the light on. The nerves still didnât bubble up. You could do it.
âI suppose soâ wait, youâre not a virgin, are you?âÂ
You shook your head no.Â
âOk. not that there is anything wrong with that. Everyoneâs living life at their own pace, I just donât feel comfortable with that kind of responsibility. No oneâs first time should be withâŠ.âÂ
âA professional?â you raised your eyebrow, suggesting a possibly more classy term for what he wanted to say.Â
âNice.â He smiled, and made his way over to the bed. You watched him get comfortable on the edge as you took off your light jacket. Your arms were freezing from the cold air outside, but the hotel room was cosy. Not to mention, the nerves were heating you up once more by the second. This was it. Eddie spread his legs wide, almost calling for your eyes to look at his thighs and how they stretched the material of the jeans.Â
When your eyes moved back up to his face, you were terrified to see that he was staring right back at you, devouring you with his gaze. He definitely saw you checking him out. But it was becoming harder to concentrate when you looked at how his large hand grazed over the faint stubble on his face.Â
âCâmere,â he said with a nod, and thoughtlessly, you followed his order. Eddie took you by both hands once you were close enough and placed them on his shoulders, then let his hands settle on your waist. His eyes found yours for a quick check. When you gave him the green light with a smile, he immediately mirrored it and asked: âwhat were your plans for this magical evening?â He briefly tightened his grip on you and kept moving his hands up and down lightly as you tried to respond. As if that wasnât hard enough with his eyes staring deep into you.Â
âNo, uhm, nothing special.â You didnât need special. Special meany complicated, and you just needed someone to help you out with the basics.Â
âMaking it special is kind of my one job, you know,â he pulled you in for a hug so that his face was only a few inches away from your stomach. His arms now enveloped your frame, hands comfortably positioned over your ass. A complete stranger was hiking up the hem of your shirt, touching your bare skin underneath it. âSo, what is it that you want?â When he pulled up enough of your shirt to actually reveal the skin underneath, he placed a soft kiss on your side. That feeling alone felt electric. He kept on leaving fluttering kisses over your middle. It was a strange sensation as well as a pleasing one. So simple, and yet it had a great effect that you couldnât quite explain.Â
Your eyes fluttered shut as you tried to concentrate on Eddieâs question as his kisses continued. What did you want from this night? But should you tell him the complete truth? Wasnât there some way to avoid the embarrassing details? Then again⊠how could he ever help you with your needs if he didnât know what they were?
âI wantâŠâ you gasped lightly when his teeth grazed your skin. For some reason, that pushed you over the edge to just put everything you worried about out there. You were already here, in this hotel room, with him. Fuck it.Â
â€
âI want you to help me be good at sex.âÂ
Eddie didnât mean to stop. He saw in her reaction that that had been the wrong thing to do. She must have seen his widened eyes and taken it for judgement, while really, it had just been a small surprise. He wasnât exactly used to people asking him to teach them how to have sex.Â
âSorry, uhm, nevermind. Just ignore me.â She scratched at her neck while looking away. That wonât do. Eddie had to fix this before they would do anything else.Â
âNo, wait. Letâs⊠letâs talk this through for a moment.â He led her by the hand and let her sit on the bed next to him. âGet comfortable. Is there anything in the minibar?â he noticed the small fridge in the closet across the room and hoped she would understand his question to ask permission to use the service provided in the room.Â
âGo ahead, take anything you want.âÂ
âLiving large, are we?â He cocked his brow before making his way over to the minibar. The selection of drinks was quite understated for a place like they were in. two cheap beers, a small bottle of champagne and two sodas. From what he had gathered at the bar, she didnât seem to be a big drinker, so he grabbed a beer and a soda can. âHere.â
âOh, thanks.â She didnât look up at him as she took the can from him. Fuck, what was she embarrassed for? He doubted she would speak up in the conversation by herself, so just started out with a question. âWhy do you think you need help with sex?â She said she wasnât a virgin, so sheâs had experience. With a glance at her hands, he saw no ring or sign of regular wear of one. That, of course, didnât exclude the option of a boyfriend or a partner. Maybe even a guy she just wanted to impress. The possibilities were endless, and for some strange reason, at the thought of her having sex with someone else, a strange feeling started gnawing at Eddieâs guts.Â
âBecause Iâve had sex a few times and so far itâs been awful.â She sighed. âBut I know that, to get better at it, I would have to go and endure endless dates to find a guy who would want to sleep with me, but then what if I do meet a great guy but just put him off because Iâm shit in the sack?â
âDonât you believe that, if you did really find the right guy, he would help you? Or not even mind your alleged lack of skills âin the sackâ?â Eddie asked, taking a sip of beer. She just looked at him with a look that told him everything. Right. Men are egoistic scum. She had a point.
âSorry, you must think Iâm insane.â She tapped on the top of the can. The metal ticking sounded hollow in the quiet room.Â
âI really donât.â If it wasnât for the fact that he had a moral spine, he would have happily told her about some of his other clients.Â
âYeah, but Iâm just wasting your time talking your ears off with absolute nonsense,â she tried to laugh at it, lessen the tension.Â
Eddie leaned over the bed on his elbow. âDonât you know that escorts are the new therapists?âÂ
âWasnât that bartenders?â
âI brought you your drink, didnât I? Call it a 2-for-1 combo deal.â He put his beer in the air for a toast and took another sip. âAnd I was serious earlier. You already paid for the whole night, so Iâm all yours, sweetheartâ He hoped that didnât sound dismissive. The last thing he wanted to do (again) was to upset or offend this girl, who genuinely looked and seemed amazing. The idea of her not being able to find someone for herself, having to go down the process of finding someone like him to make her feel goodâŠÂ
âAre all the guys at your agency this nice?â she looked up from the lip of her can, bringing his mind back into the room.
âNo, Steve is a giant dick,â Eddie laughed.
âRight, while you have one,â she teased.
âHa. Funny.â He pointed at her in appreciation before taking a sip of the beer. âBut I suppose youâre not wrong.â She had seen his pictures; she knew what he had in stock. He wondered what she thought of itâ sure, she might not have been ready for his regular repertoire, but that didnât mean âneverâ. But what he wanted to know the most, which felt like the biggest surprise, was what did she think of him? For the first time since he started this gig, he wondered what she thought of his appearance. Did she like his tattoos? Was his hair too long, maybe? Were his clothes too shabby? Perhaps it was because she had not actually picked him. She had chosen Steve.
Oh, Stevie. They couldnât be more different.Â
âAre you sure youâre ok with me⊠being here?â
â€
âI am.â You didnât know what else to reply to that question. Of course, the night was not going anything like you had expected. Until two hours ago, you were planning to have some alright sex with, what you could describe as a âregular hot guyâ. Instead, you were on the bed, fully clothed, drinking a coke next to a Metallica reject. Was it too late to still do any of the things you had initially paid for, or was the mood entirely ruined? Did people recover from going into highly personal and dramatic tangents in front of the escort they had hired?Â
âOk, cool. Just⊠making sure. Fair warning, I might do that a few more times through the night.â The idea of still having an entire night to spend with Eddie made you really happy. Even if you didnât know what to do with him in this small room. With a large king-sized bed in the middle, and not much else but the essential hotel decor, the room was perfect for exactly the reason you had booked it and not much else.
Just as you thought it was getting a bit too quiet between the two of you and had wanted to speak up with a question, Eddie opened his mouth to say something as well. So you also simultaneously apologised and let the other person say their piece.Â
âNo, go ahead,â you nudged him. Whatever he had to say would probably lead the conversation better.
âI was just wondering, when you said âhelp be good with sexâ, which aspect are we talking about here? Just regular? Oral? Foreplay? Like, what are we talking about here?â
âUhm, pretty much everything.â You winced at yourself. So far, all your attempts at intercourse had been not great. It always felt awkward and uncomfortable. The guys would get what they were there for and didnât feel the need to wait around for more. And if it kept on happening, then the math was simple, wasnât it? Just look at what the overlapping factor was in all the situations. It was eventually your friends one night, after a few bottles of wine, who suggested the idea of just hiring a guy to teach you what to do. It would be so much easier. No feelings, and they know what they are doing. Foolproof plan.Â
And somehow, you still managed to make things complicated and weird.Â
â€
âNow see, I donât believe that,â Eddie smiled. There was no way she didnât know how to do anything. Especially since most of it was just pure instinct. There is a reason why people call it âmessing aroundâ, and itâs not because of any guide or formula that one should be working off of to get it right.Â
âWell, then you should ask the other guys.â Again with that little smile, trying to undermine her own feelings.Â
âNo, fuck them. I bet they didnât even make you cum.â He accused. Her lack of response was enough of an answer. Eddie could bet his entire wage that she thought it was her fault they didnât get her to climax and that⊠that actually pissed him off. How often had he had his clients tell him how their husbands, the men supposed to take care of them, never bothered to fulfil their one simple and honestly fucking delicious duty? A thought sparked in his mind, and he couldnât keep back the grin that sprouted up with it.Â
âWhat?â she asked at the sight of his smile.Â
âHave you ever?â
âEver what?â
âHad a climax?âÂ
âOh,â the way she got shy talking about it, to Eddieâs embarrassment, turned him on. The best thing was they didnât even have to play pretend. âI mean, I think?â
âYou think?â He raised an eyebrow.Â
âYeah, sorry,â she cleared her throat, âUhm⊠Iâll just be right back.â And having said that, she ran to the bathroom.Â
As she closed the door, Eddie pondered on the idea of undressing. It would speed things up, possibly breaking the icy wall that closed her off. With one naked person in the room, it was hard to think about much else, which meant less to worry about. But he didnât think she would actually appreciate it. No, she needed to take it slow. And he would happily guide her through it all.Â
â€
You splashed some cold water in your face. There had been no reason for you to run out of the room like that except for being a total chicken. The way Eddie was so open and comfortable, talking about all of that⊠brought out a new fear in you. One you didnât know you had. One you couldnât even identify. You just knew you had to get out from under his gaze. Those big brown honey-glazed eyes.Â
Why the hell did you leave the room? He was sitting so close to you. Your legs were nearly touching. He still sat with his legs spread, basically inviting you to get between them. And what do you do? Run away.Â
You splashed some more water onto your face.Â
There wasnât much makeup on your face to begin the night, and whatever you had left of your mascara and blush was wiped off with the towel you grabbed. One more look in the mirror to ensure no grey ink streaks down your cheeks, and you were ready to get out again.Â
Just one big breath in. and out.Â
The bathroom door handle moved silently, and you pulled the door open to be met with Eddieâs chest. He was standing right in front of you.Â
âOh, hi.âÂ
âHey, just wanted to make sure you were ok in there.â He knocked on the door frame in a delayed manner for extra effect. Knock knock. You noticed he had taken off his vest and jacket. Just in his t-shirt now. The sleeves ended right at his biceps, revealing the sleeves of tattoos he hid underneath all those removed layers.Â
âSo are you alright?â he asked when you didnât respond to what he had said earlier. The question pulled your thoughts out of the clouds and your head up to look him in the eye.Â
âYeah, yeah, justâŠâ your mouth was extremely dry. One more second and no words would be leaving it ever again. It was just gonna have to come out now. Then, with a quick exhale, you admitted. âIâve never had an orgasm.â From Eddieâs reaction, it didnât seem to have been any news to him. Like it was the most normal conversation, which, given his job, it probably was. You tried to ignore the thought of him and the many women he must have helped.Â
âWell, I would be more than honoured to change that for you.â He took a step forward, and the proximity forced you to look up at him to see his eyes.Â
âIs that a rehearsed line?â Apparently, your one outburst of truth led to the pandoraâs box in your brain, and now you couldnât shut up, saying the first thing that came to your mind. And unfortunately, it was still filled with the images of him with other people; him making all of them feel ecstatic.Â
Luckily, Eddie laughed at your presumption. His head tilted back, and when it came back down, and his eyes were once again locked in with yours, his lips pulled up into a smirk. One of his hands found its way up to your cheek before he leaned in. you were ready for him to kiss you, but instead, his breath lingered over your skin. So close that you should have been able to touch him, and maybe you did. Because there was something that made your mind a thick haze, impossible to navigate through. Everything spun around you except for Eddie.
âSo what if I did rehearse it?â his words hit your jaw as he hovered over you, then whispering directly into your, he asked: âWhat if Iâve already planned 10 different ways in which I want to make you writhe underneath me? Would you mind that?â Would you mind?Â
Whatever for?Â
In a shaky breath, you spoke the only thing you could think of at the moment.Â
âKiss me.âÂ
â€
Eddie didnât need to be told twice.Â
He must have been grinning like an idiot, and he could only hope it didnât put her off as he brought their lips together and kissed her. Deeply. Passionately.Â
The hair around her face was slightly wet, as was her jaw, telling him she had just spent the last minute splashing water in her face. She tasted sweet, like the coke she had been drinking earlier.Â
Her hand crept up to his collar, shyly grabbing at it and pulling it down, revealing the slightest inch of the tattoo on his clavicle. Not that she would see it, having closed her eyes the second their lips connected.Â
Eddie let one of his hands find its way back to her waist. Holding on to each other, they stumbled back onto the bed. She let out a whimper as Eddieâs knees hit the edge of the bed, and he fell backwards, taking her right down with him.Â
It was a slow tear-away, leaving both in a haze. Eddie watched her sit up straight, straddling him and keeping him locked. If she moved, she would feel how hard he was getting.Â
âI assume kissing was not on the agenda of the lesson?â He brushed some of his hair out of his face.Â
âWell, if you have any tipsââ she tugged at the bottom of her shirt. A nervous habit, probably, but all Eddie could think about was how he wanted that material as far away from her as possible.Â
âYouâre joking, right?â She must have been. The kiss, though brief, had been⊠he felt alive after it. His chest was tight as he caught his breath. âFuck, câmere.â He pulled her right back. It might have only been one kiss, but it had been more than enough for him. He was already hooked.Â
â€
His lips were slightly chapped, but not in any way to make you feel uncomfortable. Nothing that some chapstick before going out into the cold couldnât solve. You could smell the bitter beer he had just drank, and despite the drink having been cooled, it brought a warmth out in you. This heat swam over your cheeks and the parts of you that he held close. His hands were now back to playing with your shirt. The material was creeping up over your stomach, up up upâŠ
â€
âCan you take your shirt off first, please?â she asked nervously once the second kiss parted. Her small voice sent sparks flying down Eddieâs body, directly to his dick.
âYeah, âcourse.â All he could do was smile. She shuffled down his legs to give him space and remove the shirt. There was no way she didnât feel how tight he was getting in his trousers, but she didnât show any reaction to it, eyes focused on his chest. Eddie looked down at himself. He had almost forgotten about those.Â
âYou have piercings?âÂ
He kept on forgetting to update his pictures on the website. It was such a hassle. Taking the time to plan it all in, preferably with someone else, so he could have some action shots. There was the editing, and then he would have to send them into the office so someone could actually upload them⊠he just couldnât be bothered. As much as he was meant to keep his clients aware of what they were paying for, it was selfish of him to love their surprised reactions. Just now, the way her eyes immediately locked in on them in surprise. How her hand lightly fought against reaching for him.Â
âYou can touch them. It doesnât hurt.â He took her hand and placed it right over his chest. She immediately regained control over her body, and her finger lightly traced over the silver bar. Eddieâs body tightened for a second in bliss. âSee? It feels fucking good, actually.â He hadnât meant to whisper the words out or for them to be so shaky. It was supposed to be a light joke to keep the tension away, yet it pulled the atmosphere down to something intense and sultry. Hopefully, it wouldnât scare her away.
But she smiled and leaned in again for a featherlight kiss. Fuck, she could kiss. It was like a gift from the gods themselves. A little piece of heaven. If this was how she kissed every guy, Eddie couldnât comprehend how they didnât line up for more. And then her hand kept moving, slowly tracing the ink on his body. Her fingernails grazed over the drawings. Perhaps it was a placebo, but he had always considered the tattoos to be more sensitive than the rest of him. The soft touches made him shake in need of her.Â
âWhat do you want me to do?â he asked, nearly out of breath, mind spiralling with everything he wanted to do to her. He couldnât keep it in a straight line anymore. Meanwhile, he was supposed to be the professional here. Meanwhile, she expected him to teach her⊠he was absolutely fucked.Â
And then her following words only made his situation worse.Â
âJust tell me what to do, Eddie.â Somehow, he missed the exact moment when her lips travelled down to his jaw. It must have been some kind of jokeâ there was no way this incredible woman did not know what she was doing.Â
âFuck, baby.â He groaned. He actually groaned. Eddie never did that during his sessions. It just wasnât something he thought he could do with his clients. It turns out he had never been this turned on by any of them.
It made sense. How often did he think up hour scenarios before meeting the ladies? How often did he imagine he was with someone else? He had thought that maybe, because of the rules of his job and the frequency of his sessions, that maybe sex just wasnât really anything for him. Not that he didnât enjoy his job or regretted ever going into the business⊠money was good, and he was good at what he did. Yet, it was still a job. And jobs could often tire a person out. Maybe he had become desensitised to it all.Â
But this proved all of his theories wrong. He was entirely in the moment. Aware of everything that was happening between him and her. Nothing between them was new, or necessarily exciting, and yet it felt like nothing he had felt before. Nothing but kissing sent him down a road he could never return from.Â
And now she wanted him to tell her what to do. Yes, in the teaching context, he understood. But was she even aware that this would not be that far from the ordinary things he did in his sessions if they had just removed that context? Just add in some leather and handcuffs.Â
âTake your clothes off, baby.â He spoke softly, not wanting to roll back into his regular role. This wasnât that, he reminded himself. He didnât want it to be that.Â
When she started to pull her shirt up, he quickly took over. âNo, wait, go slower. Take your time.â Fuck, please take your time, he internally cried out. He didnât want this night to end. It all felt like a dream, and he didnât want to get dressed and wake up. He didnât want to leave because once he did, coming back was not an option for him.Â
â€
You followed his instruction, slowly pulling your shirt over your head. Focusing on him. Looking at him prevented you from getting too much into your head. After all, it was hard to think or worry about anything with someone like him, half-naked, under you. You traced his tattoos. They were all black and white, the ink scratchy and uneven on most as if done at home.
Not precisely stick and poke, but not from a studio either. A pull at your heartstrings made you think of how much money you had paid. How much he needed that money⊠See, hard to think of your own insecurities when looking at him.
Eddie moved up to lean on his elbow. You were sitting still for too long; he must have sensed something was off. With a gentle touch, he stroke your bare skin. You were both shirtless, though you still had your bra on; his hand was sneakily moving up to the strap over your back, ready to unclasp it.
âWhatâs going on in that pretty head of yours, sweetheart.â It must be some kind of trick he was pulling, something he learned over his experience on the job because of the way your whole body fluttered at the sound of the little nickname⊠it must be a trick. But there was nothing you could complain about either.Â
Once again, your mouth worked faster than your brain, and before you could tell yourself to shut up, you answered with the first question that came to your mind. âDo you do anything else⊠besides this?â a second later, before he even had the time to react, you butted in with your own response. âThat is probably way out of bounds. SorryââÂ
âOnly a little bit,â he was taking it lightly with a chuckle. Clearly, with no intention of stopping what the two of you had been doing, he littered your jaw and neck with kisses between his answer. âIâm in a band. But garage gigs donât exactly pay the bills.â You felt him tremble with a laugh against your neck. Eddie had by then sat up and kept you in place on his lap with a tight hold. As he kept kissing you, you let your body speak for itself, closing your eyes and trusting your instincts. Somehow you knew what felt right and what didnât. Your hips moved of their own accord, grinding against Eddie. You tried not to think about what you were doing, knowing you would just start to freak out and freeze. Instead, you thought of Eddie on stage with his band, imagining him in all the different positions, trying to figure out which instrument fit him best.Â
As if he could read your mind, he said, âI play guitar.â His hand had now officially made its mark on your bra, grabbing the backstrap, and wringing it until it unclasped.
âThatâs hot.â
âYeah?â The bra snapped open. Eddie took it upon himself to slide the straps off your arms. You threw the item off to the side of the room, and Eddie didnât waste a second to bring his attention to your breast.
â€
Had no one ever touched her properly?
All that Eddie did was kiss her tits, and she was almost coming undone. He felt a pang of terrible guilt on behalf of his entire sex. How the fuck did no one make her feel good⊠not only that. How did men make her feel as if she was the problem? That she had to step her game up and learn. If he ever got his hands on one of those assholesâ woah. Calm down.Â
â€
âYeah,â you gasped out the small word. âSo- so hot.â It was hard to keep a sentence straight when he had his full attention on your nipples.
One preoccupying his lips, while the other was cupped by his large hand. He was rough in his touches, pulling and squeezing, but not in any way that felt too much. On the contrary, you needed more. More of him.Â
He switched from one breast to the other in his movements. Then when he pulled away, he kissed you again. Then, he looked you in the eyes, a false seriousness covering his features.Â
âSo, let that be lesson one: foreplay. Extremely important before any kind of sex.âÂ
âBut⊠I didnât do anything?â You blinked. It was true, wasnât it? He had been doing most of the work; meanwhile, you hadnât done anything for him. But Eddie frowned.
âOh, baby, you did plenty.â His hand reached down to his own trousers. âYou feel this?â When you hesitated, he took your hand to guide it over his crotch, where you could clearly feel the outline of his dick. âYeah, thatâs all you, sweetheart.â He was so cocky, so confident.Â
He kept on talking. âAnd let me ask you one more question.â For this, he leaned in to almost whisper the words against your hot skin. âAre you wet?âÂ
âI donât know.âÂ
Eddie clicked his tongue in disapproval. âI think you do know, but let me check then, hmm?â You werenât sure how he did it, but he brought you underneath his body in one fell swing. You were now lying on the bed, and he slid down to sit on his knees at the end of the bed. âProfessional opinion and all, right?âÂ
âRight.â You hid your face in your hands to laugh. What the hell had you gotten yourself into?
Eddie reached for your hands, making you look down at him.Â
âI wanna see your pretty face.â But, God, speaking of pretty faces, his smile might have been one of the most beautiful sights in the world. He could have been a model, probably⊠and yetâŠÂ
You didnât want to look at him, however, when he started unzipping your trousers. The button opened up, and you heard the zipper move down, releasing the tension of the material around your waist. Eddie tapped your hip, telling you to move them up. Once you did so, with one big tug, he pulled the pants down to the middle of your thighs with one big tug. It took him three more to get them off entirely. The next second, the trousers were in the corner of the room, along with your shirts.Â
âOh, baby,â his syllables were long, dramatic, playful. âYou are fucking soaking through these.â You felt your back stiffen at the feeling of his fingers on you. Two, his pointer and middle fingers, slowly tracing down over the thin cotton. Then heâd roll them back up, letting his knuckles press the slit.
âFuck, canât wait to taste youâ can I taste you, baby?â He asked, eyes pleading you for it.Â
âYou donât have to,â you responded. The air in the room seemed to be turning colder and sent shivers over your arms.Â
âI know I donât have to.â Eddie scoffed, teasing. âLet that be lesson two then: if a guy doesnât want his mouth near your pussy, then you shouldnât come anywhere near his dick.â He growled out the last words, and his hand had such a tight grip on your panties, that, with one quick move, he tore the material in two.Â
â€
âEddie!â she shouted.Â
âShit, sorry.â He got too carried away in everything. âIâll pay you back.â Thatâs when he glanced down; it was like his memory was instantly wiped. âOh, fuck yes. Fuck you got the cutest pussy Iâve ever seen.â He left a kiss a few inches above it and slowly made his way down. His fingers returned to the slow up-and-down motion he had done before, and each time, he let himself go deeper. Her body tensed up, and breathing hitched in her throat until it came out in a soft moan.Â
âThatâs right,â Eddie said before one last kiss on the most crucial spot. And this kiss lasted. After a few seconds, he practically made out with her clit, as his fingers entered her.
That is when her hand reached for his hair. The touch was enough to make him moan against her.Â
âOh fuck,â she moaned loud, eyes tightly shut in pleasure. Keeping his fingers deep within her, Eddie mused:
âThatâs right, baby. Does it feel good?â
âSo good.â She dug her nails through his hair, nudging him on to continue whatever he was doing.Â
â€
Even though you had not meant to pull at his hair, it was all much more of an impulsive action, Eddie groaned out against. He pulled you in closer, sending the vibrations from his body right through yours.Â
You had expected, thinking up this plan of hiring someone to teach you sex, that it would be much more formal. That the guy would give you step-by-step instructions on how to do things, tell you everything directly, and you would follow. Maybe that is how it would be with anyone else, but with Eddie, he made you feel it. Without saying a word, you knew how to listen to him. Through his reactions, you knew what to do. His moans encouraged you to pull his hair, to close your thighs around him. Meanwhile, your response spurred him to go, let his fingers move harder, his tongue slick deeper through you.Â
âFuck, Eddie, fuck.â You felt that feeling inside you, the build-up. It wasnât familiar, for you had only experienced it very few times, mostly on your own. This tension deep within you. It grew, quickly reaching its tipping point.Â
Eddieâs free hand fastened itself onto your leg; he seemed to have lost himself in you. Then his eyes moved up, locking right with yourself. A part of you wanted to take a picture of what you saw in front of you and cherish the memory forever. His honey-brown eyes glazed in need of you. This spark of all-knowing deviltry.Â
Your whole body tightened as you felt it coming, tighter and tighter, like a rubber band ready to snap.
But instead, Eddie let go of the band as he pulled away from you to accompany your last moan of his name.
A whimper left your mouth, and pleads were ready to follow it, begging him to not stop. Not now. Just a few more seconds.Â
âLesson number three,â he wiped his mouthâ which was glistening in the room's warm lightâ with his thumb but never wiping the smug smile off his face. âTease, tease and tease. The longer you keep them waiting, the sweeter their reward will be.âÂ
At this point, you could not imagine it being so sweet, as all you felt was a horribly empty feeling, deflating your insides by the second.Â
âEveryone likes that?â You asked.
âHmm, good question.â Eddie got up to remove his belt. He made a spectacle out of it, sliding the whole strap from between the loops, then throwing it down to the ground. âIt does probably depend on a person, what their limits are. How much they can last and take.â Like a showman, he made you watch. Made you wait. âIâm sure some people would rather just get on to the final act.âÂ
âNot me?â you asked as he pulled his jeans down along with his boxers.
Just like the picture.Â
âHmm,â with a pondering expression, he fell down onto the mattress beside you. âNot you.âÂ
âWhat makes you say that?â It took all your willpower to keep looking into his eyes. He, however, wasnât as courteous. His eyes roamed over your naked body as his hand found its way back between your legs. A quick snap. He slapped your clit lightly, but it was enough to immediately sent a spark through you, nearly bringing you back to the spot of tension.Â
âJust a hunch.â He slapped you again.Â
â€
She was so fucking sensitive. Like a little porcelain doll.
For good measure, and the fact he couldnât get enough of how her body moved when encountering intense pleasure, he gave that pussy a third and final snap. Maybe he would have kept going, he certainly had not felt like stopping any time soon, but it was when her hand reached for his. Fingers around his wrist. Her eyes closed lightly, mouth parted just a tiny bit, enough for her to whisper his name.Â
âEddie.â
âWhatâs up, sweetheart,â he leaned in his lips almost on her cheek again. She didnât respond. âLesson four: always use words. I donât know what you really want unless you tell me.â He left sloppy kisses over her face as he dictated. âSo? What. Do. You. Want?â He punctuated each word with a touch
âFuck me.âÂ
âOf course.â He had expected her to play around with the words, make him pull it out of him, but no. So, he got up and reached for the wallet in his jeans. He should have checked sooner. This had been too much of a risk, but luckily, the silver foil stuck out immediately.Â
She had sat up again to watch him rip the packaging open.Â
âYouâre making me feel really unprofessional right now,â he chuckled to himself whilst pulling the condom out. âI have a whole box in my bag with the rest of my stuff.â He had planned to get it out of his car after meeting her at the bar, but then everything had gone a bit to shit, hadnât it?Â
âI have a box⊠in my bag,â she said, for some reason almost embarrassed.Â
âSomeoneâs eager, huh?â Perhaps he didnât help, but really, he was talking about himself. Eddie could immediately imagine himself being with her for the rest of the night, the entire fucking week if he could, but something told him that after thisâ that would most likely be it. It was better not to stretch a good thing out. She paid for him to teach her the basics, not exhaust her to her limits, perhaps scare her off of sex forever.
âNo, I justââ did she notice he was joking? Either way, she hid her face in her hands, laughing at herself. Eddie took the moment that she wasnât eating him alive with her eyes to get a few pumps in. it wasnât even needed; he was rock hard; it was just a routine at this point. He let his head roll back a little back as his hand moved up and down, then got on with putting the condom on.Â
â€
âHow should we uhmâ how do you wantââ you looked for a good way to phrase it as Eddie got back into bed.Â
âAnything particular in mind you wanted to get a hang of?â he asked. You shook your head no. Stupid. You should have done your research. Come more prepared.Â
But could anything prepare you for Eddie? It didnât seem likely. You could have come in with a four-volume guide, and he would have probably thrown it out the window and shown you a whole new world.Â
âThen weâll just see where the night takes us, why donât we?â He positioned himself on top of you. Arms on each side of your shoulders, stomach hovering over yours. As you both breathed in, you could feel his muscles. He put his weight on one of his forearms as the other hand reached back down between you, moving his fingers in a circular, steady motion.Â
Too occupied with how good his touch on you felt, there was no real thought going through your mind when you pulled his face closer to you, kissing him deeply. Your noses pushed against one another. Your fingers rooted down between his hair. Â
Eddie spread your legs wider apart, creating the perfect position for himself.Â
âYou ok?â he asked, lips practically still on yours.Â
âMhm.â You hummed, but Eddie clicked his tongue, pulling away a few inches to look at you a bit more focused.Â
âMm, remember rule four?âÂ
You didnât want to remember. You didnât want to think. All you wanted, needed, was him inside you. But you answered: âuse your words? Let them know what you want.âÂ
âGood girl,â he kissed you softly. âIt also goes for consent. Probably should have made that the first lesson, but what can you do? Make clear what and when you want something. If the guy doesnât listenâ I donât know, kick him in the nuts.âÂ
âGot it.â You nodded.Â
âSo, letâs try it out.â He didnât move, just waited for you to speak.Â
You took a deep breath. âI want you to fuck me, Eddie.âÂ
âThere we go. Feels good, doesnât it?â His hand returned to rubbing your clit as he moved around above you, getting in the proper position. âQuick lesson five: itâs fucking hot when girls say shit like that. So donât be afraid to get dirty.â Slowly and carefully, he let himself sink into you. His length filled you up, spread your walls. It was a perfectly tight fit, making it impossible to hold anything in.Â
âDirty and loud.â Eddie stayed still, letting you get used to the feeling of him. âDonât hold it in, baby, ok?âÂ
âO-ok.â Your breath was shaky. Once used to him, you placed your hand on his chest. His hot breath burned your skin.
Eddie kept a slow pace, letting both of you ease into the rhythm of being together, but eventually, you felt your body loosen up. Finally, it wasnât enough anymore. Was he holding himself in? Could he tell you needed more but was waiting for you to tell him? Teach you your lesson.Â
âMore,â the word was nearly just an exhale, but it was enough for Eddie. He kissed you passionately with a smile, and he plunged deeper inside you. From then on, his thrusts were harder, faster. He grabbed your leg and pulled it over himself. The new change brought in a whole new angle, letting you feel him through your entire body.Â
The pleasure was intense, and beautiful. Your mind was scattered, so you didnât even feel your teeth graze over your lips, locking in your voice. But Eddie noticed.Â
â€
The second he caught it, something in Eddieâs mind switched on. As much as he tried to contain that part of himself, keep it away from her, he couldnât. It was fucking primal.Â
He thrust harder than he did before. His hand found its way to her cheek, squeezing itâ not too tight, he pulled himself back quickly, but strong enough to show her he meant itâ and his words came out in a growl.Â
âWhat did I tell you, baby? Donât hold it in.â A few more deep thrusts left both their bodies shaking with each move. âI want to hear every pretty sound that comes out of your mouth.â His thumb pressed against her bottom lip, and, without another word exchanged, she parted those beautiful lips and granted him access.Â
She fucking moaned around it and sucked her own juices off it. Could she taste the sweetness? He hoped she could. He was jealous of every person that ever got to taste it, but he quickly let that thought sink away as he had more pressing questions.Â
âNow, where did you learn that?â He smiled when he pulled his thumb away, his hips only slightly rearranging the pace as he spoke calmly.Â
âSorry, was that wrong?â She blinked. Genuine fucking naivete. Eddie could barely hold it in anymore.Â
âOnly in the sense that it got me this close to blowing my load before you got even close.â He quickly regained his speed.
From that point on, she didnât hold back. Her moans were beautiful. The sound of his name comes directly from the centre of her pleasure was like hitting the jackpot. If only he could live off those cute noises, heâd be the wealthiest man on earth. The luckiest. The happiest.Â
What the fuck was wrong with him?Â
But shit were her tits a sight for sore eyes. Looking at them, he couldnât go a second without touching them. For a moment, he got scared he was too rough, but then the claws came outâ almost literally. Her nails dug into his back. It would leave marks, and Eddie couldnât wait to see them when he looked in the mirror the following day.Â
âEddieee,â it came out so shaky, so desperate. He could tell she was getting close. It took much less than expected. He had a thousand things in his head that he still wanted to do with her, show her, but even he realised then it was wishful thinking. His own words from minutes ago reverberated in his mind.Â
Youâre making me feel really unprofessional right now.
He was ready to burst, and it only took a few minutes in missionary. Usually, he could go for ages.
Then again, he hadnât been this turned on in a long time.Â
âYou close, baby?â He asked and almost hoped to hear yes; Eddie didnât know how much longer he could last, and if he came before herâ he could never live that down.Â
But she was lost in him, too far down to appropriately respond. That wasnât good. Eddie slowed down a bit. âHey, hey, you alright?âÂ
â€
âYes,â you took a deep breath, âplease donât stop. Not now.â He was making you feel incredible. In a matter of a few minutes, you felt like you had reached the seventh heaven. Absolute bliss.Â
But perhaps you didnât feel how much you actually felt. As good as it was, this overwhelming sensation pulled you away from everything around you. When Eddie brought you back, with the softness of his voice and the touch of his hands, only then you realised how far down you had been.
âAre you sure? We can take a break.â Eddieâs eyes searched your face for any signs of trouble, but before he could spiral, you halted him. A few deep breaths were all it took for you to be present.Â
âIâm ok. Thank you.â You kissed him. Whatever anyone would say if they heard about your plan, this was how you knew you had made the right choice. Or perhaps how you knew that the universe wasnât always against you. Tonight, it brought you Eddie. Whether it was a freak accident or not, you would never regret the choices that led to it.Â
Eddie continued what he was doing, giving you all his attention. To all of you. You didnât feel like an inch of your body went down forgotten. Meanwhile, he was all you could think about. It was like the world around you dissolved. A fire could have burned down the entire room, and you donât think you would have even noticed. Not with Eddieâs cock deep inside you. He didnât falter. Each thrust was full of him, hitting the perfect spot. Mind-numbing, toe-curling andâŠÂ
Soon, you felt that feeling again. That tightness inside you. This time even tighter than previously. It was to be expected that Eddie knew what he was talking about. The longer the wait, the better the reward. And to think only a little time had passed since the two of you entered the hotel room. Not much time at all compared to how much you wished you could be with him. Was it insane? Probably, but you didnât care.
You just wanted him, and you would take as much as he could give you.Â
â€
Eddie could feel how close she was.Â
It had definitely scared him when he saw how far down she had been, already blaming himself for taking it too far. He had been ready to pull the plug and return her all the money. It didnât matter if her payment had actually gone to his account; he would make sure that his fuck ups were compensated.Â
But she was fine. Like a little firecracker that she was, she kissed him, wiping his whole mind clear of anything but her. Her and that sweet, sweet taste.Â
It didnât take much longer for breathing to break up in quick succession. Moans got louder, likely uncontrolled, and her grip on his tighter. Her nails dug into his shoulder just as he loved it.Â
âCâmon baby, come on.â He encouraged her to lose all of her control. Lose herself to the pleasure. She needed to know how it was to be treated right. He needed her to know. And he didnât know how much more he could keep it going. His last few thrusts still reached the deepest parts of her, and got everything out of her he wanted, but he felt himself lose his momentum. With each second, it was getting harder to concentrate.Â
âOh my god-â she whimpered as she released underneath him with a high-pitched scream at that. As much as he wanted to hear all of it, he kissed her to mute it. There was no need for the neighbours to get concerned.Â
Though from all the other noises they made, from how the bed shook and banged against the wall, they would make the correct assumption.Â
Not much later, as she was still coming undone, Eddie let himself reel in the pleasure. Then, stilled within her, his lips on her neck now, he came. When he pulled away, he wished he could have left a mark on her, but he knew that would be a step too far.Â
âThank youâ were the first words to come out of her mouth when he discarded the full condom in the trash. He wasnât sure what to do now. He didnât like feeling naked post-sex, but he didnât want her to get the wrong idea. Maybe she expected more. If so, he could give it to her, but he just wasnât sureâÂ
âItâs my pleasure,â he sat on the edge of the bed, just in reach to place his hand on her leg. They were both covered in sweat, naturally, but the cold was taking over. âYou should get under the covers.â The last thing he wanted was for her to get sick.
âRight.â She pulled at the corner of the blanketâ always a much more arduous task than necessary in hotel rooms when theyâre tucked in deeper than the pits of hell. As soon as she pulled the white sheet over her body, Eddie regretted his choice of words. It was probably the last time he would have seen her naked, and he didnât even take a moment to appreciate what he had in front of him.Â
He found his underwear, which was almost kicked under the bed. When he resurfaced, her face was full of worry. The furrow of her brows was enough to tell him that.Â
âWhatâs wrong?â he asked as he covered himself up.Â
âIâm sorry.âÂ
âI donât understand.âÂ
âI didnât do anything. I asked you to help me figure this out, and we justââÂ
âNo, hey, hey.â Eddie practically jumped into bed next to her. Cupped her face in his hands and made sure she looked at him as he spoke. âFirst of all, if this is how you feel, I should be the one to be sorry since I clearly didnât do my job. So Iâm sorry. But you have no reason to think you didnât do well. This was amazing.â He could only hope she knew just how much he meant his words. That she could trust a complete stranger with words as much as she did with their bodies.Â
âNo, Eddie, itâs not that you didnât teach me anything, but Iâ thereâs still so much I donât know. Fuck, I still have no idea how to suck a guy off.âÂ
Eddie cursed under his breath. Just from those words, he could feel himself twitching against his boxers. This girl was going to be the death of me. She kept on talking.Â
âWould it be ok if we do this again? Not as an accident this time, I will book you.âÂ
He wanted to say yes so badly. But he had to keep his mind clear as he answered. âI donât think that will be a good idea.â fuck. Fuck. Fuck. He wanted to punch himself in the gut.Â
â€
âI try to keep a strict one-time, no repeating clients policy. It makes the job much easier,â Eddie explained.Â
âNo, I understand.â Having to do this with the number of people he does⊠you couldnât imagine how that was. How other people would be with him, and what could have happened for him to make such a rule in the first place.Â
âI would say you should try Steve for real, but I donât believe you need any âsex lessonsâ.Â
âRight,â you scoffed away the comment, but Eddie was persistent.Â
âI mean it. I can tell that you have a whole talent in there for this shit. You just need to find the right guy to bring it out in you because whoever youâve been in the past, clearly, they werenât doing it right. Then you will learn everything else you want to learn by yourself. Basically like you did now.â He gave you a kind smile, and you tried to replicate it.Â
âI did need you.â You couldnât look at him as you said it.
âEhhhâ not so sure about that. For a while, I thought you just wanted me for my body.â He fell over to his back, hand on his chest as if he had just been shot. âThat shit can hurt, you know.â He was so dramatic and made you laugh so easily. You had never expected anything like that to happen that night.Â
â€
A body to adore was one thing, but he might miss her smile even more.Â
âAre you feeling alright?â
âWhy do you keep asking me that?â She blinked. Eddie pushed down the anger he felt at all those morons that had not treated her right before.
âLet that be your final lesson then,â he pushed down another instinct, this time to make a cheesy reference that she might not get. There was no need to make the mood weird or awkward now. Eddie cleared his throat. âLesson⊠what number are we on, six?â Lesson six: aftercare. Just check up on yourself to see if youâre able to carry on afterwards. While always quite vital, the more intense the session, the more important the aftercare. It keeps you stable.âÂ
She nodded in understanding. âSo, how would that look?â
âWell, letâs seeâŠ. Are you sore? Do you need anything?â Once again, he was mad at himself for going into this without his usual stuff. While his bag was mostly filled with toys that might be a bit too much for her, he also had plenty of shit to make her feel better if needed.Â
âNo, I donât think so.âÂ
âOk, do you need something to drink? Eat?â Before she even replied, Eddie lunged for the can of soda she had discarded on the desk opposite the bed. The bubbles would have mostly flattened by now, but it was still a liquid to drink.Â
âNot really,â she said as he handed her the can and took a small sip. âOk, maybe a little bit.â They both smiled as she emptied the can of its last chug.Â
âMore?â Eddie asked as he tried to read it off of her.Â
âNo, Iâm good.â Just like before, she started tapping on the can. Now empty, it sounded even more hollow.Â
âAnd was everything alright? I was scared I might have gone too far at one point.âÂ
â€
The way you could see the genuine concern and worry in Eddieâs eyes made you want to wrap your arms around him, kiss him, and never let him go. To think that a few hours ago, neither of you was even aware of the otherâs existence. That you werenât supposed to be aware, that it was all a giant coincidence. And that after tonight⊠that would be all that it ever was.Â
Here was this fantastic man taking care of you better than any other guy had.Â
Sure, you paid him to do it, but something in you, call it a freaky instinct, told you that that was just who Eddie was. He wanted to take care of you.Â
Maybe thatâs why he went into the business. Who could really tell?
âIt was perfect,â you told him because it was.Â
âOk, good.â He nodded, smiling shyly. It was the first time that night that you saw a crack in the confident front of the guy.Â
âReally, thank you.â You reached for his hand, and his eyes followed it. He looked as your fingers lazily intertwined while you watched him.
âYou, uhm, you should probably go to the bathroom. Make sure you wash all of me out. Make it a standard practice, really.â
âWill do,â your voice wasnât hoarse, yet you whispered. It suddenly became hushed in the room. It could have been quiet all this time, but it was then that you grew aware of it.Â
You didnât want to leave the bed, or Eddie, just yet, but you knew you should listen to his professional advice. Everything he had told you so far felt like the most obvious thing in the world. Maybe you also knew of them already, maybe did it too, but it only made sense when it came from Eddie. âDonât leave yet, ok? I want to say goodbye.â The idea of him being gone when you came back felt gut-wrenching for many reasons, but all unknown.Â
All Eddie did was nod.Â
When you returned, he had just put his shirt back on. His belt was in his jeans loops but not yet fastened. Was it weird to watch him get dressed? It felt more like a thing real couples did, which you were far from. It felt stranger doing so whilst you were still completely naked, so you grabbed the fluffy white bathrobe on the bathroom shelf and pulled it on, tying it tightly around your waist.Â
âThatâs me then.â Eddie scratched the back of his neck, looking around, most likely checking if he didnât forget something. A part of you hoped he did. He would realise it only hours later and rush back to find it. That this wasnât the last time the two of you would meet.Â
A girl could wish.Â
âRight.â You put on a brave face as you made your way to the door. âThank you again. For everything.â
All Eddie did in response was nod with a tight-lipped smile.Â
The door was open now. He was already on the threshold. Compared to the soft glow of your room, the corridor's light felt jarring to your eyes. Just like that, it was over.
You could not believe this was the end. It ended as quickly as it started. A whole whirlwind of⊠everything, really.Â
Before you could stop yourself, one last question burst through your lips.Â
âIs Eddie your real name?â You immediately regretted your entire life, couldnât believe you had done that. âIâm so sorry, just ignore me. I donât know why I said thatââ
But Eddie beamed. He took your hand in his. âAs real as anything tonight was.â and placed a soft kiss on your knuckles. He started walking before your wrist even hit your hip.Â
You couldnât watch him walk away, so you closed the door and your eyes before he went too far. A minute later, you cursed to yourself.
The whole aftercare thing- You never got to ask if he was ok.
Fuck.
the end.

Coach [r.k.]{kd12}
Dirty talk / breath play
Cw: coach!Roy Kent, coworkers, inappropriate use of coach, lots of kissing, p in v, teasing, swearing, rough sex, mentions of shower sex, implied age gap (though not large), mutual pining
Moving across the world to chase a childhood dream, per request of your brotherâs football coach, had been working out so far.
Futbol had always been your passion, you would get up at odd hours to watch your favorite teams, and your favorite player perform, even begging for channel packages so you could watch matches live. So when Coach Lasso offered you a position on his coaching staff for Richmond, the landing place for your favorite grumpy futbol player, you jumped on it.
Ted had an incredible ability to make everyone around him cherish life a little bit more every single day and life in England really did cast a spell on your small town American heart.
Roy, had been full of surprises himself. You and your dad used to bond over his no nonsense attitude, and his passion that was evident in the way he left his entire life on the pitch every single game, even the occasional meltdown.
Meeting him had been difficult at first, but during your first conversation you quickly established yourself as something more than a baseball fan, or as he put it so nonchalantly âa pretty face.â
You always had a crush on him, sure he was a bit older than you but his personality was addicting, and the subtle nuances of his love for the boys didnât go unnoticed. You once watched him talk Danny through his emotions after a movie night where the team had gathered together to watch When Harry Met Sally. He helped Jamie grow to his full potential, albeit through gritted teeth, but he did it because as shy as he was to admit it, Richmond had become his home.
âMmmmm.â Roy Grumbled as he walked into the coaches office. You sitting at your desk on the other side of the room from him, his fist clenched as he threw himself into a chair across from you with a grunt.
âWhat happened this time?â You half expected some Blaise excuse like his car getting dinged by the kitmans bike.
He looked across the desk at you, giving you a small eye roll. Mumbling back at you, he replied. âPlayers. Donât show up properly to train. Donât focus on the exercise, just a pain in my ass really.â
You hum in agreement, âI know, if only we were still allowed to bend them over a desk maybe you could return the favor.â You taunt, with just a hint of warmth in your cheeks, unable to stop the out of pocket phrase.
âIf only.â He joked back to you, his grumpy tone now changed to something more lighthearted with a small grin. âI swear sometimes they try to do this stuff on purpose just to mess with me- And what am I even supposed to do with a player who canât even get their kit on right. Sam had his shirt on backwards, the hell are we supposed to do with that?â He let out a frustrated groan, running his hand through his hair.
You chuckle, âDo you really think they do it on purpose just to fuck with you? I know I enjoy watching you get all grumbly.â Mumble with just a hint of suggestiveness in your voice, but shifting your attention back to the tape youâre cutting into a highlight reel for tomorrowâs practice.
âThey better not be doing it on purpose.â He huffed and crossed his arms. âOr I swear Iâll be out there making them do extra drills after their extra drills. I swear if they wanna mess with me theyâre really not gonna like my attitude tomorrow.â He leaned forward, and given the threatening tone his voice still never raised at you. He was always respectful of your space, and never would do anything to intimidate you on purpose.
You smile, clearly enjoying the grumpiness of him today, and tease him just a hair further, âEasy old man, I donât want you to waste all that energy on the boys.â I say in a coy and insinuating to save some for me with a short pause, before continuing âWe have a yoga class we canât miss.â
His eyes widened for a brief moment, surprised by the comment and the tone you used. He could tell your were teasing, but it didnât stop the thought from popping into his mind about saving energy for you. âOh shush.â He replied, his tone trying to act as if he was unaffected, but the way his breath went a little faster said otherwise, âIâm looking forward to it.â
Youâve been flirting with each other for weeks, getting along better than most people typically do with Roy at least right off the bat, and the reality of it is you think when Roy is sexy when heâs angry. âEveryone needs an outlet for stress, I like yoga among other things.â
He let out a breath, his arms still crossed as he looked at you across the room. âI swear weâre supposed to be professional.â He mumbled with a bit of a chuckle and rolling his eyes, as he knew both him and you werenât exactly doing the best job at being professional.
You smile knowingly, âI have reason to believe we wouldnât be the first ones to break that rule.â I look at him up and down, not trying to hide my intention anymore, watching the veins in his neck strain, longing to make them pop.
He raised an eyebrow, listening to your suggestion. He couldnât deny that the idea was tempting, and it would definitely relieve some of the frustration he had. He stared at you for a moment, considering the suggestion, before finally speaking. âAre you propositioning me?â He smirked, crossing his arms again with a raised eyebrow, still playing a bit coy, but the twist of his mouth is stuck in place.
You shrug, simply stating, âYou know how much I like you, I think weâd have good chemistry off the pitch.â
He chuckled a bit at your words, the idea of ârelieving stressâ with you becoming even more tempting. He knew that there was chemistry, everyone could tell in the locker room. The way you always seemed to make him laugh and feel lighter, while also managing to send his heart race with your playful teasing. He was tempted, not for the first time. He smirked again and tilted his head to the side. âYou think so?â He taunted, his voice low. Leaning just a bit closer to your desk.
You hum again, standing slowly and circling the desk, perching on the edge and getting a close as youâve ever been to him apart from a few celebratory hugs during matches. âYou know what helps me relax?â
He smirked, the sound you made already sending a chill down his spine. He was already sold on the idea, but seeing you move to the front of the desk and letting out that phrase definitely sealed the deal. He walked closer to you slowly, moving around the desk until he was standing in front of you. âEnlighten me.â He said smoothly.
âA nice warm showerâŠâ you reach out slowly, giving him every opportunity to move before you touch his chest gently with a lifted eyebrow in question.
He let out a breath as you reached out, his heart beginning to pound in his chest at the idea of finally getting to do something with you. He watched you closely, eyes following your hand to his chest. He had no intention of moving, wanting to keep this going.
A small smirk appeared on his face as he watched you. âA nice warm shower,â He said, taking another step forward.
He chuckled softly, leaning forward slightly, so he was standing right in front of you. âYou are a tease, you know that?â He said in a low tone, his hands going to the edge of the desk on either side of you, caging you against it. âA right little tease.â
Him being so close to you is intoxicating, you can smell the oil he puts in his beard, he smells like sage and sweat. Your breath picking up as the anticipation of his touch draws closer, you look down into his dark brown eyes.
The sight of you enjoying this was almost enough to make him snap. He leaned in closer, his breath fanning across your face. âYou like getting this reaction out of me, donât you? Teasing me, making me want you?â He murmured, voice low and rough.
âYes,â you pant, your hands twisting in your lap. âI have a feeling youâre rough in all aspects of your life.â
He chuckled breathlessly, his heart pounding even faster as you confirmed his suspicions. God, the thought of the two of you doing other things together was almost enough to make his brain short circuit. He took a moment to regain his focus, trying to respond in a way that wasnât just a bunch of stutters and breathless words. âIs that right?â He replied softly. âYouâre just dying to know the reaction youâd get from me in other situations, ehh?â
I smirk, leaning forward so our lips brush ever so slightly breathless, âSo how about that shower?â
The slight brush of lips alone was enough to send a shiver down his spine. God, he was already a mess, and it was all your fault. He could feel the desire and need running through his veins. He let out a short huff, his hands gripping the edge of the desk tighter. âYouâre going to be the death of me, you know that?â He whispered huskily. âLetâs go.â
Your faces meet, coming together in a clash of teeth and hunger, your lips moving against each others in a frenzy.
Roy groaned into the kiss, his hands quickly moving from the desk to grip your hips as your mouths pressed together. He allowed you to dominate the kiss for a moment, letting you lick into his mouth, his eyes closing as he enjoyed it.
After a moment, he began to grow more aggressive, his tongue meeting yours hungrily and his hands pulling you closer against him. You groan eagerly, feeling the tight grip on his hands all over your body. Partially wondering if youâll even make it off your desk.
He let out another quiet moan as your hands moved to grip his hair, the feeling sending a spark of pleasure through him. He broke the kiss for a moment, only to begin trailing kisses up and down your jawline.
He nipped and sucked the skin, leaving a trail of love bites along the side of your neck. One of his large, rough hands snuck up under the hem of your shirt, wanting to feel your skin.
His hands are calloused and warm, and part of you should care that heâs leaving a trail of marks in the wake of his mouth but if you werenât lying the idea of wearing these mark, his marks, in front of so many people makes your pussy throb in need.
Royâs hands come down to your hips, squeezing and pushing more of his body against yours, you can feel the hard outline of his need in his trousers.
Roy runs a hand over your ribs, and you shudder in response. âHow much longer is training?â You say, as you throw your head back and begin kicking off your shoes.
âHalf hour, then Beard is holding a checkers competition in the team room.â He lifts your shirt up and over your head, âweâve got your office to ourselves for at least an hour, weâll have to be quiet to keep the kit man away,â he kisses you again, reaching behind your back to unhook your bra,âYou can be a good girl and keep quiet yeah?â
âYes coach.â You pull away, to free him from his shirt, and pressing your chests together. âTell me what you wanna do to me.â
âFucking minx.â He swears fingers finding your nipple and tugging on it harshly, âFilthy fucking thing calling me coach.â His eyes are dark with desire, breath hot and full of desire. âIâm gonna fuck you on this desk.â
His fingers dip into the waistband of your joggers, grabbing fistfuls of your ass as he envelops you with his mouth again. You moan coach, against the press of his mouth.
As you repeat the title, calling him coach again, he groans against your skin. His hips press forward, practically grinding himself against you for a moment to get some much needed friction, a low hiss slipping from his lips. He pulls back, his breath coming out in short huffs as he looks you in the eye.
âSay it again. Keep calling me coach.â He practically growls out. He pushes your paperwork onto the floor, urging you to lay further back onto the desk and to give him space to remove your clothes.
You comply, leaning back and lifting your hips so that he can pull the soft material from your legs. Looking down between your legs he sees a sizable patch of wet fabric clinging to your skin.
âFucking filthy girl, you want this cunt filled donât you?â He lets the pad of his thumb tap your clit through the thin cloth of your panties, and your eyes all but roll back into your head.
You nod vigorously, feeling so hot and dazed, knuckles clinging to the edge of your desk. Catching a glimpse of the sizable bulge in his trousers, you reach down to slip your hand around him.
He continues to press a finger to your clit, and takes a hand and twists into your hair tugging from the root. You hiss in pain, squeezing his shaft in response to the pain, âPlease coach.â
His resolve breaks, pushing the top of his trousers down just enough to let himself fall free. In a single breath the head of his cock is working you open and his hips saw back and forth stretching you around his size.
Once heâs bottomed out, he pauses for a moment. Taking in the way your mouth is parted in a pant, and the way the muscles in your legs quiver around his waist.
âYou said rough yeah? Tell me if you need me to stop.â He said, sober as a saint for a second making sure to establish himself as in control but giving you what you need to feel comfortable.
You nod, biting your lip as he shifts his heels to angle his hips up, he hits something inside you that makes you squeak.
His large palm wraps around your throat, squeezing the artery there and making your brain lull into the field of pleasure he gives you.

A Devil's Secret Wingman: Vergil x G/N Reader
APPARENTLY, I NEVER POSTED THIS HERE; I WROTE THIS BACK IN MARCH OF 2023 LMFAO WHAT THE FUCK--
SUMMARY: As time has gone on, random appearances from a certain blue apparition happened more and more. A part of you wonders why but you had never dared to ask Vergil; however, the sly blue ghostly devil had a different plan in store.
BEGINNING NOTES: I donât know why I really like the idea of Vergil in yoga pants right now; I just do. Also when Doppel shakes their upper half; I am imagining something similar to a bird fluffing its feathers. Yes, I know that Vergil + Danteâs DT/Sin DTs donât have feathers but I feel like theyâd still do it; plus it would make Vergilâs (Sin Trigger) shoulder pauldrons move according to how they work on the concept art page. đđ©”đ Vergil x G/N Reader Unestablished relationship Some good olâ fluff

Visitations from a certain bright blue apparition had become a regular occurrence when you visited the Devil May Cry. It didn't typically matter what was going on; night or day, before or after a job--as long as you were alone, the glowing blue devil would make time to see you. At first, you thought that Vergil had been doing this to keep an eye on you while he was up in his room; however, as time went by, you realized that Vergil didnât even have to be awake for Doppel to appear--sometimes you'd even get a visit when Vergil was out and about. It had become a part of your routine, one which you reveled in greatly.
     Today was no exception.Â
Vergil and you were on âshop dutyâ, being tasked with the monotonous secretary work of (the) Devil May Cry. Everyone else had various contracts to complete or were on vacation; leaving you and the blue twin alone for an undisclosed amount of time.
You sighed heavily, âIâm so fucking boredâŠâ you leaned forward in the desk chair and set your head on the desk with a small thunk.Â
It had been nearly three hours and there wasnât a single phone call or walk-in; it was as dead as dead can be. A part of you had hoped that Vergil might join you downstairs for a while, maybe even a long while; but, you hadnât seen nor heard from the Dark Slayer all day. Which was fine, itâs not like the two of you donât see each other all the time, but you couldnât help but yearn to be near him--even if it just meant that you were occupying the same room.Â
A small joyful chirping caught your attention. You tilted your head up slightly and stared from the tops of your eyes. Standing at the bottom of the stairs was the blue ghostly doppelgÀnger that you expected to visit at some point.
You picked your head up. Placing your elbow on the desk and resting your chin in your palm, you flashed them a bright beaming smile, âHey Doppel, come to join me?â
Although you knew that the devil couldnât speak, you would talk to them as if they were able to respond; which to be fair they technically could. Your smile widened as they wiggled a bit, a sign that you'd learned meant they were happy or in agreement. The devil approached you and stood in front of the desk with a tilted head.Â
âWanna sit with me?â you smiled as you sat up and watched Doppel wriggle faster, spreading their wings slightly in excitement, âAlright,â you stood from the chair.
With a loud scrapping sound, you moved the coffee table out from in front of the pleather couch--making sure to give the devil enough room. With a playful huff and bounce, you sat on the couch.
The sound of their claws daintily clicking on the hardwood floor made you giggle in amusement. They stood in front of the couch before tilting their head once more.
âWhat?â you watched their hands as they gestured along the couch, asking you to lay down, âOh? Okay, sure..?âÂ
It was a bit odd since they had never asked for that before but you did as you were asked. With a curious tilt to your brow, you watched as the devil sat above you, straddling your legs. If this had been the real Vergil, you surely wouldâve been crushed to death by now; thankfully, Doppel (typically) weighed almost nothing. Another laugh left your lips as you watched the dangerous devil knead into your chest with both his hands, emitting a thunderous purr; reminding you of a cat. Meanwhile, you gently ran your hands along the devil's body.
After a minute or two, they carefully laid on top of you; encompassing you entirely. You smiled as you nestled your face into (where there typically would be) grey scales above their blue V. Carefully, they rubbed the underside of their chin against the top of your head. Between the heat and the vibrations of their purrs, it didnât take long for you to fall asleep; forgetting all about your shop work.Â
Nearly an hour later, you were still sleeping happily with the blue devil doing the same. However, a different blue devil had come downstairs to check on you; worried that you hadnât answered the shop's phone several times. Now, he could only stare at the sight before him.Â
The sight of you, his partner and secret romantic interest, being smothered by his own duplicate. Doppel noticed Vergilâs sudden appearance and curiously turned their head towards him.Â
With a large and envious scowl, Vergil snapped his fingers in an attempt to de-summon the blue apparition but was only met with a small wiggling motion in defiance. This movement was enough to stir you awake.
Only having your eyes half open, you mumbled to your ghostly cuddle-bug, âSomethinâ wrong Doppel?â
They looked down at you and back to Vergil. You turned your head to the side and became pale at the sight of Doppelâs owner. Vergil had moved further into the room and stood next to the desk with folded arms. A small blush spread across your face upon seeing his oddly casual apparel; a pair of semi-form-fitting black yoga pants and his typical turtlenecked dark blue vest. Upon seeing that you noticed Vergil, Doppel took their leave with a small chirp of happiness.Â
Vergil swallowed audibly and looked away from your eyes, a small amount of pink pricked at his features--embarrassed about this situation, âForgive me, I was unaware of their summoning,â his voice was meek and caught you off guard.
You smiled as you sat up, âDonât worry about it⊠If Iâm honest,â you placed a hand on the back of your neck awkwardly, âI actually enjoy these little visits.â
âThis- This has happened before?â Vergilâs gaze turned back to you filled with concern and confusion.
âYeah..?â you cocked your head slightly, âHavenât you been sending Doppel to stay with me?â
The twin looked at you with parted lips and wide-eyed expression; telling you that your assumption was far from correct.Â
Before you were able to question him more, Vergil went back up the stairs and holed himself back up in his room.Â
âShit,â a loud sigh left your lips as you flung your head backwards, hitting the crown of your head on the back cushions; fearing that this would somehow bite you in the ass later.
You waited a while to see if Vergil would come back downstairs and were disappointed when he didnât. Another heavy sigh left your lips as you stood up from the couch and tended to your assigned work.
After that was completed, you quickly became bored again and looked around for something to bide your time. Thatâs when you realized how dirty the DMC had become making you scrunch your face in disgust. So, you decided to take upon the hefty maid work and got to it.Â
Three hours of exhausting scrubbing and cleaning later, you flopped face down on the sofa, satisfied with your work. Slowly, you felt the warm gentle hold of sleep taking hold of you or was it something else? Before you could question it too much, you fell back asleep.
After a half hour or so, you tried to turn over and felt something stop you. Irritatedly, you opened your eyes and noticed luminescent wings and arms wrapped around you. It seemed that Doppel had not only returned to you but was sleeping on top of you.Â
âDoppel?â you whispered and got a small tail wag in response, âCan you let me up?â
They looked at you for a moment, presumably in thought, then slid off you. You sat up and let out a low groan as you stretched your arms upwards, cracking your back. The large devil sat facing you with crisscrossed legs, reminding you of how juvenile the ghost acted in comparison to its master.
With a small laugh, you turned to put one leg up on the couch, âSo⊠Whatâs with you? I hear that youâve been visiting me without permission?â you cocked your head curiously.
The blue devil chirped in affirmation.
     "Why?"Â
Doppelâs tail gently moved to point at your chest before laying it on your lap. Carefully, you pet the sharp scales; giving extra care to go pet down the tail so you didnât slice your hand.Â
âMy chest, huh?â you shook your head with a faint smile, âI donât understand.â
The light blue figure cocked its head slightly before shaking its upper body with a loud chirp. Then, they took their hands and fumbled with them for a moment, before they made a crude heart shape with their fingers.Â
With pursed lips and a furrowed brow, you huffed quietly in confusion, âA heart?â the blue devil shook with another loud chirp--indicating that you were correct, âWhat..? You just love spending time with me or something?â admittedly, you found that idea to be adorable.
Doppel looked over and stared at the staircase; which you copied.Â
âWait,â you froze and looked at Doppel with wide eyes, âYou mean that Vergil-?â
A third loud chirp came from them as they wriggled in place.Â
With parted lips, you tried to come up with a response. However, before you were able, Doppel sat on their knees, still on the couch, and poked your chest with their finger this time.Â
âAre you asking if I..?â your voice was hushed as Doppel wiggled a bit, âOh, well- I,â you stumbled over your thoughts and words. Admittedly, youâd never said it out loud before or told anyone about how you felt for the older brother; despite the incessant pestering of Nico and Dante, âYeah, I-â a small smile tugged at your lips as you sighed contently, âI do love Vergil.â
The blue apparition carefully cupped your face within its hands and made an odd purring chirp noise; one youâd never heard before. They continued to purr afterwards and just stared into your eyes. Thatâs when you realized what Doppel was asking you to do.
âNo way,â you shook your head slightly, still confined by the devilâs hands, âI canât tell him. Do you know how much heâd hate me over something--âÂ
Another loud chirping purr cut you off; this time, however, Doppel wriggled harder and spread their wings out in clear disagreement.
âYou sure about this?â you whispered as you felt them squish your face closer together, making you scrunch up, âAlright- Alright, Iâll go,â Doppel let go of your face as you laughed nervously.
A deep nervous feeling grew in your gut as you stood up and slowly ascended the stairs, with Doppel following suit. Once in front of Vergilâs door, you stopped and looked over at the apparition with pursed lips. Doppel decided to force things along further and knocked loudly on the door for you, making you cuss loudly at the ghostly devil.Â
The door opened and Vergil stood there with a raised brow; however, before he spoke, he noticed his DoppelgĂ€nger standing beside you.Â
âWhat- How?!â Vergilâs voice was angry as he glared at the blue ghost.
Doppel straightened their posture with a curious tilt of their head.Â
The eldest twinâs lip twitched in irritation at their counterpart.
Meekly, you broke Vergilâs death glare at the apparition, âHey, could we,â you shrugged with one shoulder, âtalk for a minute?â
Vergil eyed you up and down, âFine, give me a moment,â with that, he turned back into his room and shut the door.Â
You turned to Doppel and became increasingly confused. They were ruffling their top half with their wings wide spread and their tail flicking around.
âWhatâs up with you?â you were unsure if they were excited or angry.
The ghost looked at you and patted the top of your head, still wriggling around.
With a small shake of your head, you smirked a wide smile at them, âYouâre quite excited, huh?â
Before they could give a clear response, Vergilâs bedroom door opened again.Â
The twin sighed and moved to the side, âYou may enter.â
âAre you sure you want me in your room? You never--â
     âYes.â
With a coy nod, you smiled, âOkay, thank you.â
Vergil gave you a flat smile and shut the door as he watched Doppel wave to him and then fade.Â
A heavy sigh came from the twin as he stood facing the door for a moment, attempting to hide his growing nervousness. Vergil turned to face you and took a few steps closer. The two of you awkwardly stood in the middle of the open space. Admittedly, the eldest sonâs room was rather plain; only having essential items, a few bookshelves, and a small desk.Â
âItâs nice in here,â you smiled and avoided his piercing gaze, âitâs very well-kempt; a reflection of its inhabitant.â
Although Vergil was flattered by your compliment, he was uncomfortable by someone elseâs presence in his space; making his tone rather snappy, âWhat do you want?â
You pursed your lips and shrank down into yourself, taking his tone as a bad sign, âDoppel told me something, and I--â you shot a glance at him and noticed his brow was furrowed, âI was made to come up here to talk with you.â
     âSpeak then.â
âWell,â you bit your tongue, âyou know what, never mind; just forget this happened,â with your tail between your legs, you attempted to retreat and leave, when you felt him grab your forearm.
Without turning to you, Vergil spoke in a hushed tone, âNo, I want to hear what you have to say.â
A sigh left your nose as you turned your head to the side, looking at the side profile of the stone-faced man, âPromise you wonât be mad?â
Vergil copied your action, turning his head to face you, âFine.â
Your heart rate spiked as you locked eyes with his icy eyes and a small blush dusted your face. Vergil released his hold on your arm and turned fully to see you with folded arms.Â
You looked away from him again and tensed up as you whispered, âDoppel wanted me to tell you about how,â with a scrunched face, you braced for the worst, âI have feelings for you.â
His voice was sharp and he squinted his eyes, âWhat kind of feelings ?â
With a barely audible voice and a small nervous laugh, you answered, âRomantic onesâŠâ
The room fell silent. A thick uncomfortable tension hung in the air as Vergil just stared at you. If he had stabbed you with the Yamato or scoffed in response; that would have been preferable then him just standing completely still and silent. A part of you wanted to bolt out the door and just run from this, but you were frozen in fear.
âIs that your version of a confession?â
Unable to look at him, you nodded.
Vergilâs stare softened and he let out a gentle sigh, âLet me guess,â slowly, he approached you and stopped only a few inches from you, âmy doppelgĂ€nger told you about my own feelings then?â
With another small nod, you focused on his boots that had come into view.
âThen may I ask why you were hesitant to tell me..?â
You whispered, âI figure Doppel was just messing with me.â
Vergil gave a flat smile. Gently he set his thumb and forefinger on your chin, tilting you up for him to see. Neither of you spoke as he slowly ran his thumb over your parted lips, making your face turn a few shades darker. Eventually, you met his gaze and noticed his expression had softened greatly; the first time youâd seen him this mellow.Â
Vergil whispered as he stared down at your lips, âMay I..?âÂ
You gave a small grin, âOf course.â
With a very slow and careful lean, Vergil connected his mouth to yours. You sheepishly placed your hands on his sides, making him push a bit harder into the kiss. His lips were broiling hot as he slowly moved his lips against yours. After a few moments, Vergil broke the kiss off and leaned back enough to look you over; attempting to gauge your response. A small smile tugged at your lips and you noticed that Vergil had the same expression.Â
He moved his hand to rest on the side of your jaw, gently thumbing over your cheekbone, âI assume that was proof enough?â
Curious as to how he would respond, you inched toward him and cocked your head slightly, âMnm, I dunno; think I might need another just to be sure.â
He shyly looked down and leaned back into you, intertwining once more. This time, however, Vergil made sure to pour everything he had into the kiss. Quickly, he moved both hands to your waist and pulled you tight to his body, making you squeak in surprise. Using this to his advantage, he pushed his tongue into your mouth.Â
After a few minutes of fervourous kissing, the two of you broke apart, breathing heavily. Vergil gently nuzzled against the side of your neck and placed sweet kisses along it; very quietly purring.Â
While the two of you were enjoying each other's embrace, a loud yell from downstairs caught your attention, it seems that Dante had returned. However, when you tried to separate from Vergil, he pulled you closer.
âStay, my brother can wait,â his voice was laden with a thick husky seduction as he continued to kiss down your neck, âIâm not done showing you how much I love you.â

Art Donaldson x Fem!Reader: Marry Me?
This came to me in a dream lol ... yeah anyway enjoy:)
Y/N = Your Name
~ I do not own the characters, plot, etc. of Challengers
Masterlist
Y/N's POV
You wake up and hear your phone buzzing like crazy. You push Art enough to grab your phone and answer it without looking at the caller ID.
Mom - Honey, are you up? Y/N - Just woke up, mom. Why are you bothering me so early? Mom - You're the one who told me that the family had to get there early to see Art before he leaves for his match today. We're waiting outside the neighborhood for you to tell security that we're okay to be sent through. Y/N - Oh shit yeah I did say that... I will tell Gary and he'll let you through. Sorry about that. Mom - It's okay sweetie. See you soon.
You hang up with her, call Gary aka your security guy, then you get up. You stretch your back, see your lack of clothing, and you remember last night. OH yeah... You turn to Art and push him a little. He groans, you kiss him on the cheek, and say, "Happy Match Day, and also my family is literally 5 minutes away!" Art replies, "Oh god... uh I'm getting up. I love you, baby." You kiss him on the lips and you reply, "I love you too, my love."
You throw on a casual outfit for now, run downstairs, and start heating up the oven for food. You also start packing up snacks for Art's day and making sure his water + smoothie is ready for him.
You hear knocking on your door, you let your family inside, and you rush back to the kitchen. Food goes into the oven for reheating and you make Art's oatmeal with fruit. You pour it into a bowl as he walks around the corner. He hugs your family before putting his arms around your waist and says, "You're so warm. I missed you. I love you." You ask, "Do you want to do match day yoga outside as the food reheats for them?" You & Art started a quick 20-minute morning yoga routine every day he competes to relax. Sometimes you'll even do it on off days because you both love yoga together. He nods, and you excuse yourself to your family and walk outside. You go through the yoga routine before heading back inside.
You take the food out and everyone serves themselves before you all sit at the breakfast table. Art pulls the chair next to him closer and you sit there. One of his hands finds your knee as he eats his oatmeal. You all talk and enjoy your company.
Art leaves to finish getting ready, you kiss him goodbye, and he heads out.
You chill with your family for a while before getting ready. The tournament is one where you wear all-white to every match. It's so scary to wear white and you just pray you don't spill anything.
Art reserved a place for dinner for you two and your family, which is very exciting for you. You cannot wait for it! You also can't wait to see Art compete today! He's been doing so well and you're so proud of him.
The match begins... you and your family go crazy for Art!
Patrick, his best friend from childhood, shows up and sits next to you. Art and Patrick may not see eye to eye on everything, but they still support each other. Patrick ended up with Art's ex-wife for a brief period and you're lucky you weren't around for that phase. You've met Tashi and you're not a fan of how she treats people.
ART WINS!!! He runs over to you after he shakes hands with his opponent. He pulls you close and into a kiss that gets louder applause. HAHA!
You wait at the cars for Art to be finished cleaning up. He rode with his manager this morning because he wanted to catch a ride back with your family in case he drank at dinner. He claims his alcohol tolerance is low because of his workout lifestyle.
You see Art round the corner of the building and you run towards him. His smile gets wider, he drops his bag right when you approach, and he hugs you tightly, before kissing you again. You exclaim, "Hi my love!" He replies, "Hi I love you." You reply, "And I love you... This outfit is very attractive and handsome tonight, Art. Who are you trying to impress?" He answers, "One woman, you. Did it work?" You answer, "I think you'll be very pleased with how tonight ends." He smirks and kisses you again.
You walk back to your family, pile into the cars, and drive over to dinner.
Art hangs back to ask your stepdad for something as you head closer to the building. Art catches up with you, takes your hand, and leads you inside where you see two of your best friends inside. OMG!
Art exclaims, "Surprise baby! I flew them in." You kiss him, thank him, and then hug your friends.
Dinner is AMAZING... It's probably one of the best nights of your life for a while. You have everyone you love in one place. How could it get any better? Oh ... the dessert really seals the deal, they have your favorite!!!
You all walk out to the pier behind the restaurant and you notice white roses everywhere. You look around and then you see the big "Marry Me?" sign at the end of the roses. Art pulls you towards it, gets down on one knee, and exclaims, "Y/N, you mean the world to me. I never thought I would find love again, but then you came into my life. Itâs genuinely impossible not to love you. You embody what perfection looks like in a person. On my darkest days, you bring light, and during my happy moments, you make them even more joyous. The way you make me feel understood and valued is something I hold dear. You are not only the most beautiful woman I know but also the most intelligent. Your support and enthusiasm for tennis have reignited my passion for the game. I canât imagine my life without you, and I truly donât want to. Would you, Y/N, marry me?â You exclaim happily, "Yes, yes of course I'll be your wife." Art slides the ring on your finger and then kisses you.

Do you know of any fics where Aziraphale is really like physically strong
We have a #strong aziraphale tag. Here are more to add...
Yours by Sodium_Azide (E)
There are some unexpected afteraffects from Heaven's attempted execution. Crowley takes care of his angel, in every way he needs.
Unpacking by cassieoh (M)
Turns out the âmovingâ part of moving in together is the easy bit.
From Atop My Crimson Throne by BooknerdMiss (T)
âYou do realize we wouldnât be having this issue if you had just gotten rid of this chair!â âI love this chair!â âThen you should have measured the elevator before deciding to move in!â âThatâs stupid! Who bases anything on the size of the lift?!â âSomeone who wants to keep her nanâs dumb red chair - !â âExcuse me,â a posh voice interrupted their bickering. âIs there anything I can do to be of assistance?â âErâŠâ Crowley started, turning to look over her shoulder. Her eyes went wide. âShit.â * Antonia J. Crowley hated moving. But with Anathema & Newtâs help, things had been going rather smoothly (for once). That is, until her unfairly handsome neighbor appeared and ended up witnessing the most undignified position she had found herself in that day. Everyoneâs always saying first impressions are important. Crowleyâs pretty sure this oneâs going to leave a lasting impact. Female Crowley/Male Aziraphale, Human AU. Inspired by true events.
Working it Out by TawnyOwl95 (E)
Crowley is the flirty yoga instructor at Garden of Eden health resort. Aziraphale, the new masseur, doesn't trust his advances. However they'd be easier to ignore if he wasn't so hopelessly attracted to the infuriating man.
lavender nights by Sway (E)
âWhat do you do with all the honey? It doesnât look exactly like a farmerâs market down there?â Azira laughs, not at Crowley. âWell, if you happen to have a property in the South Down at hand where I could set up a stand, Iâd be the first to make you an offer.â She pops a piece of pastry into her mouth. âI give it away.â Butch beekeeper Azira meets gardener Crowley over an order of three dozen lavender plants. Bees fly, and so do the sparks.
How to get fit in 9 days by DawnOfTomorrow (E)
Crowley had no interest in the gym. Only the nagging of his Dr made him even sign up - but it's the blonde weight lifter with the angelic smile that keeps him coming back. Not that anything will come of it - Aziraphale is probably, maybe straight, and absolutely definitely not interested in the stuttery gay mess that Crowley turns into when he's in sight.
