Aunt Bobby : Sam and Sally...

Jaune: (ecstatic) Impromptu Family Reunion!!!

Aunt Sally / Uncle Sam / Aunt Bobby: ...

Jaune: Come on now. Can you guys leave work out on the fringe? I mean we're family, and Mom is going to be so HAPPY to see you all!

Aunt Sally / Uncle Sam: Sorry Jaune.

Aunt Bobby : My apologies Jaune. It's been a rough couple of years.

Jaune: You having problems with Heretics as well?

Aunt Bobby : I wish. I'm dealing with Orks.

Ren: ... are we totally going to ignore the fires? Wait Orks? What's an Ork?

Aunt Sally: Ouch. Are you okay?

Aunt Bobby : I will be after a little R&R. Are you and Sam on leave as well?

Aunt Sally: Yep. Figured we visit the family before going back out.

Aunt Bobby : So who else is here?

Aunt Sally: Bobby, deep and slow breaths. Deep and slow breaths. He's you're nephew, and not a guardsman... so you can't execute him.

Ren: EXECUTE!?!

Jaune: Don't over react Ren. That's not happening.

Ren: ...

Aunt Bobby : So... Jaune...

Aunt Bobby : I will be talking to your mom before the end of today. I SUGGEST you call her prior to that... understood?

Uncle Sam: So back to the original discussion. So Jaune do you want to swap Crocea Mors for a Munitorum Mk III?

Aunt Bobby : Wait? What?

Aunt Sally: Jaune is going to return Crocea Mors so he's shopping for a replacement.

Aunt Bobby : I see. Well why not...

Aunt Bobby unsheathes her weapon and holds it up for everyone to see.

Jaune: Really a chainsword? That's so METAL!

Aunt Sally: A suitable alternative to the Munitorum Mk III.

Uncle Sam: It is. So Jaune? Do you... where did he go?

Aunt Bobby : Over there!

Aunt Bobby points past Uncle Sam and Aunt Sally towards Ren who is physically dragging Jaune away from them by the hood of his hoodie.

Jaune: Ren?

Ren: No.

Jaune: Ren?

Ren: No means No.

Jaune: Fine.

Jaune smiles and waves at his family as Ren continues to pull him further away.

Aunt Sally: That was rather rude of Jaune's friend.

Uncle Sam: I think he may be a Heretic.

Aunt Bobby : Wait! Jaune is friends with a Heretic?

Uncle Sam: Possibly.

Aunt Bobby: Possibly?

Aunt Sally: We were going to press the issue but then Jaune saw you... and well...

Aunt Bobby : There is no... well! We have to pursue this. Jaune's honor, life, and chastity are at risk!

Ren shivered as a chill travelled down his spine.

In honor of where it all began, I decided to draw my own version of all of the original Toa Canister art for each of the 6 original Toa

Onua is the wisest and most intelligent of the Toa, although he tends to be reserved, and reflective often part of the group but didn't feel the need to interject against the other Toa believing that it's important for his teammates to make mistakes and learn from them, but if he ever did speak up it was because he had something important to say and the other Toa know to listen when Onua speaks and it's always worth it. Onua is never impulsive or reckless, he is very patient, reliable, and surprisingly dexterous despite having giant claw-hands meant for tearing through the earth and breaking huge rocks!

Since my brain is still in an Adepta Sororitas fixation, allow me to post about another cool/awful thing the lore says about them.

Penitent Engines are basically the Imperium's version of crucifixion. But somehow they made it even worse.

Penitent Engines are walking tanks, usually fitted with short range weapons or even long blades that force the machine into melee combat with their enemies. Crucially, the pilot of these machines is strapped to the front, with no armor or protection whatsoever. Because if they are to die in battle, they will be punished while defending humanity. And if they survive, then the Emperor must have clearly deemed it so.

Penitent Engine pilots are people accused of horrific crimes, or have committed sins of such true depravity that mere imprisonment or execution via lasgun is deemed too kind. Many sisters of battle who think they have failed the Emperor volunteer to be strapped to these machines in order to seek forgiveness.

The sisters of battle often use these volunteers to serve as heavy infantry support vehicles, throwing themselves into the thickest parts of battle in order to break enemy lines.

The pilots are not just strapped to the machines, they are force-injected with a cocktail of drugs that keep their bodies alive even as they are torn apart in the midst of battle, every sensation magnified a thousand times by the potent drugs to ensure they don't pass out or their brains ignore the trauma inflicted on them. Sometimes they are even forced awake at all times by the machine, denying them even the peace of sleep.

Chaos Cult Enforcer

One of the recruited NPC´s upon the planed, from my campaign.

Captain "7885-4431-16" is the only survivor from the remaining troops, that were stationed with him, inside the City-Unit Gamma-8, upon the Rad World, Groulp-5.

Holding his men together, under relentless attacks by traitors and heretics, he was able to keep over 400 men alive, against the horrors of mutants, chaos spawn, rebels and even traitorous imperial guard regiment.

Fighting from street to street, building to building, he held the city, until the players, the retinue of the Rogue Trader appeared, being interested into the discovered Aeldari ruins, that were to the southern part of the city. Outside of Imperial control.

With little ammunition and constant pressure, he stoicly accepted the tests, that the Emperor put upon his shoulders.

It feels like it's been a pretty thin year so far for metal releases, but the handful of really good albums so far have been fucking killer. New Havukruunu would be enough for me, honestly.

Actually, now that I think about it, it's been mostly a decent black metal year. Few new death metal albums gripped me so far. Hopefully it ends up like the last few years that have been like this and the back half of the year is incredible.

Commissar Cain against the Valhallans' deadly weapons🙂

My friends and I also do Warhammer 40,000 cosplay.

Ciaphas Cain and his loyal assistant Jurgen are definitely among my favorite characters. Cain's style of storytelling is sometimes so reminiscent of my own internal monologues (oh, that impostor syndrome!) that I simply repeat them as a refrain in my head.

And the ironic comments of Inquisitor Vale are a special pleasure and add layers and depth to the story.

I would love to cosplay the dodgy commissar myself, but purely based on physical characteristics, I don’t fit the image of a two-meter tall athletic guy with sideburns. Unlike my boyfriend, as you can see in the video ( ・・)つ⬆️ (yes, a little bit of bragging about my boyfriend, don't judge me (*/_＼)

P.S. This is the first greatcoat option; an improved version is currently in the process.
