remember when natsuhi and genji changed the padlock to the storehouse and then like an hour later kanon and kumasawa opened the storehouse's shutter. which should not have been possible considering natsuhi was the one with the new key and neither of them went to her on their way to the storehouse. which could mean nothing, though!
#i remember i had a whole theory about how the padlock had already been opened by the time kanon and kumasawa got there#which meant someone had already opened the storehouse & gotten a tool & cut the chain & killed eva and hideyoshi etc#and so when genji and kanon couldn't get the door to open because of the chain they were just faking it lmao#not sure how much any of this checks out though#umineko liveblog#umineko spoilers
