You mentioned your favorite ship in genshin was a poly ship. If you don't mind me asking, what is it and why do you love it so much?

Oh, yeah! Definitely, I don't mind! I know shipping wars are crazy in the Genshin fandom so I first gotta say that I am a multishipper and ship a lot of the stuff in this fandom, especially around these three characters. pls don't skin me because you don't think I ship other stuff, I do and it really doesn't matter in the end. The likelihood of anything becoming canon in this fandom in nonexistent.

But my favorite ship is Kaeya/Albedo/Childe or Chaebedo! First off, all of them are skilled fighters and are great with kids and that is 100% the main reason. Klee is one of my favorite characters and I just want her to have three fun big brothers looking out for her!

A big second is their thematic parallels. Kaeya and Albedo are prophecized or worried about betraying/harming their nation, Childe literally tried to destroy Liyue, lol. Plus they all have that abyss trauma. They would bond and connect over it <3

Another is the drama kinda coming from it? Like, Jean reacting to these two dating a fatui harbinger, expecting shit to hit the fan almost immediately. Another is Diluc, like, how the fuck would Diluc take this?! Would the Harbingers be mad at Childe? Would Childe leave the Fatui? Like, there are so many possible ways to take this and I love it!

Two mutuals tried to get me to ship niki and himeru because they both had "source memories" of them being a qpr. My silly ass to this day is shipping rinne and niki

I mean I guess it’s fair to ship things for that reason (it’s one reason I ship chaebedo from genshin, for instance) but trying to force your ships onto other people is crazy like calm a little we can all be friends with different pairings.

I do like to Headcanon Diluc as more of a ler but he can DEFINITELY be a lee too omg.

For Diluc ships I like venluc and thomaluc (Chiluc is good too but I really prefer chaeya.) But like Venti + Diluc + Xiao is definitely a really good OT3. You can tell I’m a multi shopper lmao. (Off topic but speaking about OT3’s if anyone wants to talk about chaebedo I love them-)

ANYWAYS I love love love the trope of a serious person being a lee omfg it’s so good- And yes. Yes that absolutely IS Diluc when he’s the lee.

As for who would try to tickle him- Kaeya definitely tries but probably fails a lot. Venti also tries, especially if Diluc’s cut him off from buying more drinks for the night, I mean what else is he going to do?

Also Venti just. Randomly poking him ok. It happens all the time. Venti likes to see him being not so serious.

This has been sitting in my drafts for awhile so I’m just gonna post it as is- But I can think of more if you’d like more lee Diluc stuff. Sorry for taking so long on this one!
