Tamayo and Yushiro are the only ones who figure out how to turn animals into demons. They could've built an army of demonized crowds with supernatural abilities. Demon dogs for extra protection. Find an animal, tame it, befriend, turn it into a demon and BOOM. An ally.

First art post!!!

I did this cute little drawing of Nezuko and Chachamaru last night. I headcanon that on nights when Nezuko isn't sleepy and has energy, Tanjiro does let her out of her box for a period of time so she can stretch and relax. This would happen prior to her conquering the sun at the end of the Swordsmith Village arc. I just think it would be very cute if on the nights she is out of her box, she likes to play with Chachamaru

Can't wait for this Shinobu Vs Douma fight to be animated so y'all can see how badly she was whooping his ass. It's clear as day how she SHOULD HAVE won. but of course, they needed to fit kanao somewhere in the story (I'm not sure why) and even if they wanted to include her, it could've been Shinobu, Kanao, and Inosuke (while shinobu was alive💀) Vs. Douma. That would've been so much better. Shinobu was fast as hell, and she managed to stab him 8 times without him even knowing. She also stabbed him and drove him all the way into the wall (ceiling? I think it was cause she fell) even when her lungs were completely slashed. Yet she "was too weak to behead a demon" and then we got muichiro that's like 2 inches taller than her doing it💀 She very clearly should have won, and then she got eaten by him. Which is just bullshit. Then you got fucking giyu over there getting turned into a donut like rengoku did by akaza and that mf lived. Just straight bullshit. The dullest character survived while the best ones died. Mitsuri dying was just plain old mean and pointless. Why would you even do something like that?! Obanai dying made sense cause he carried. (I hate obamitsu as a ship) Idgaf, Tanjiro didn't carry AT ALL. (I hate tanjiro) Genya died but I don't really care cause I ain't care for his character. Sanemi deserved that pain. He said he ain't have no brother so god said "ight bet" and took him. Muichiro dying hurt. He didn't deserve that. I don't care for gyomei, but I gotta give him his props. He definitely carried when fighting kokushibo, and one of my favorite panels was when muzan turned into that big ass baby and gyomei pulled his ass back. Kaigaku Vs zenitsu was mid asf. (I hate zenitsu he the weakest of the group) Inosuke is the MOST UNDERRATED CHARACTER. He created his own breathing style, he can dislocate his joints at will, he kept up with zenitsu when he was using Godspeed technique💀, and he can shift his organs. Tanjiro pushed the rock with his slayer mark, inosuke never got one and did it💀 bro is BETTER than tanjiro at this point. I wish that rengoku's dad, shinjuro, fought during the battle. That would've been so tuff to see him fight akaza🗿then you got tanjiro that knew him for like 3 hours going on for 2 seasons and a movie about it🙈 Imagine if tengen got his slayer mark, and didn't have to retire. Would've been so OP. That blew me cause they really removed the BEST hashira 💀

Kimetsu Academy AU, where there's a squeaking coming from the fan ceiling in the chemistry lab and everyone be like "???" "What's that noise?? Is it going to fall??" So Obanai shutting the fan cause it's noisy and disturbing the class.

Then something comes plumping from the fan -- squeaking -- everyone screams and panicking as realisation sinks in at seeing that it's a mice.

Kaburamaru lungs, catches the mice in his mouth and everyone screams louder.

Que Uzui sprinting into the class, shouting and yanking his buff mice from the snake's mouth but unintentionally pulling too hard and flung both Kaburamaru and buff mice from the second floor.

Chachamaru playing with Gyomei outside and sees a snake and a mice in the air -- pounds forward and catches both with his mouth before dashing away into the hallway, catching students and staff off guard.

Gyomei startles, Uzui and Obanai screaming from the second floor.

Chaos. Chaos everywhere.

Just thinking about how Chachamaru is a male calico, at least according the Taisho Secret right before chapter 195 that calls him manly. It really doesn't surprise me that he's male, because so many references to calicos I've seen in manga, mascots, and temple architecture specify that the featured calico is male.

This is because they are rare, and therefore considered lucky.

The figure that gets thrown around the internet is that supposedly only 1 in every 3000 calicos is male. (I'll bet the people who did the often quoted study at U. of Minn. College of Vet Med would love to tell you how it's more complicated than that.) This has long made male calicos popular not only in Japan, but in other countries as well. The thing is, though, the male calico might not always be so lucky.

To be very brief about why calicos (and some other multicolored cats) are almost always female, this is because, put very simply, one X chromosome gives us the black splotches, and one X chromosome gives us the orange splotches. That might leave you wondering where the white patches come from, and this is the part where I say that genetics is never simple and you should have fun reading about it. The important takeaway here is that in order to show this color pattern, a cat needs two X chromosomes, one from its mother and one from its father.

Typically, a male cat has an X chromosome (from its female mother, who only has two X chromosomes) and a Y chromosome (from its father, who had both an X and a Y), but because the calico coating can only occur with two X chromosomes, this male cat somehow got an X, a Y, and... hmm, another X somewhere.

So not a typical XY male, not a typical XX calico... this sterile XXY male calico has an extra chromosome, and mutations often are not ideal for the health of the animal with the extra chromosome. This particular condition is Klinefelter’s Syndrome, which can lead to a male calico having cognitive and behavior issues, weaker bones, increased risk of diabetes due to higher body fat, and perhaps a shorter lifespan.

Now, none of the fictitious lucky cats I've seen have ever been portrayed as anything less than smart and pleasant, though a lot of the maneki-neko are pretty round. For everything Chachamaru is tasked with, I have to assume he's above-average when it comes to intelligence, reasonably healthy enough to handle long-distance travel, and for a cat, he's extremely, extremely cooperative. For the record, the same Taisho Secret (as well as Yushiro's statement in Chapter 194) makes it clear that for most of canon Chachamaru was a regular cat, for he was not made into a demon until right before the final showdown with Muzan. Even with her hands full making the medicine for Muzan, she still put a lot of effort into changing Chachamaru so that Yushiro wouldn't be lonely. It's ironic that Chachamaru winds up immortal, rather than doomed to a potentially shorter lifespan due to his mark...ings. In the first place, was Tamayo perhaps moved with pity for a sickly kitten and nursed him to the health he's in now?

Or did she always keep her eye out for a male calico, wanting to put some faith in them being good luck?

Also, what sticks out to me in this Taisho Secret is that Chachamaru, not having a language in which he could communicate with Tamayo, had no choice in becoming a demon. Tamayo felt sorry about that. The word bubble over manly little Chachamaru says, with bravado, "Fine by me, if that's what the woman I'm smitten with wishes." If Chachamaru truly is that smitten with her, that perhaps accounts for what an unusually cooperative cat he is. But it also reminds me of a fan theory that I saw once (and found worthy of weight) which said that perhaps Tamayo's blood technique has an effect like makes others smitten with her, and Yushiro might had been under its influence, however strongly or subtly. If such a thing were the case, it might or might not had been something Tamayo was conscious of. If she was conscious of having some effect like that, she probably felt awful about it but found it a necessary precaution to keep any demon she made under control. If she wasn't conscious of such a thing, that means she might had subconsciously developed it out of loneliness, and had been trying to keep company at her side.

I like going over to Koku and Douma's places. They have food. Following Akaza's around is a fun hobby, it's hilarious when he tries to run away only to turn around and see me right at his heels as usual.

Upper 3 + Muzan with Cats

A/N: This is my first time ever writing like this so please be nice! I was looking at my cat and then I looked at a picture of Doma. The brain juices started juicing and here we are!

Muzan Kibtusuji

• Sorry to say, but he probably won't like them very much

•To be fair, he doesn't like anything.

•He was probably allergic to them when he was a human

•I think he'd tolerate them slightly, because most cats are chill

•Absolutely no cats in the Infinity Palace though.

•Not only will the cats probably die, but he doesn't want them to stink up the place.

•If they ever have a mouse problem though.. That's another story.

•Would probably make demon cats if there was a mouse problem. It's unlikely.

•Only way he gets a cat is if it's helping HIM somehow.

•Definitely is a bit disgusted by cats

•Not because they did anything. They just exist.

Kokushibo

•Would enjoy cats

•Definitely his favorite animal, I think he'd have a few around for the loneliness

•Theyre all black cats btw

•He likes how quiet they are, and he doesn't need to take them out for walks like he would with a dog.

•Definitely has a little cementary for his deceased cats.

Douma/Doma

•He thinks cats are entertaining

•I like to think one of his followers found a momma cat and her kittens outside in the rain and he took them in

•He doesn't feel stuff, but he was definitely close to feeling something called "endearment"

•His favorites are orange cats.

•Theyre just so stupid and chaotic. Very entertaining for him

•Definitely has an entire sector of his palace dedicated to his cats

•Like he owns a full blown society of cats

•Theyre so silly to him

•I do get the feeling that cats.. Don't like him very much

•They tolerate him only because he gives them food and a comfy home

•Definitely likes to bring cats to upper moon meetings.
