I'm sure you've already talked about it but I wanted to ask you where you get the names for your characters from? They're really great and I'd love to know!
Thank you so much! This makes me so happy to hear! Actually, I’m a bit of a name hoarder to tell the truth. Whenever I come across a name in the wild that I like, I jot it down, and I keep a giant database on my computer that I refer to whenever I need inspiration for a new character name. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to visit a local cemetery and collect names, and I’ve been doing this for over a decade. Super normal hobbies over here!!! 😂
#ch answers#tle#I’m a collector by nature#somehow my brain bypassed the shiny rock collection and fixated on language#don’t even get me started on the list of word collections I secretly hoard too lmao

Fic Update
Sooooooo turns out what I'd thought was the end of chapter 21 is actually going to need to be chapter 22's end, due to how I'd arranged prior scenes. I'm still done most of 21, and this just means that once 21's out, 22 will come faster, next time! 🤷♂️
#oops#I’m working on it I swear#everything after ch 20 gets sticky#¯\_(ツ)_/¯#my writing#collector fanfic#my post

CHAPTER 2 - page 17/?

original:
livestock, even. While Tomas might want to marry you…you’re a burden.” “What do you know?” Nesta breathed. “You’re just a half-wild beast with the nerve to bark orders at all hours of the day and night. Keep it up, and someday—someday, Feyre, you’ll have no one left to remember you, or to care that you ever existed.” She stormed off, Elain darting after her, cooing her sympathy. They slammed the door to the bedroom hard enough to rattle the dishes. I’d heard the words before—and knew she only repeated them because I’d flinched that first time she spat them. They still burned anyway. I took a long sip from the chipped mug. The wooden bench beneath my father groaned as he shifted. I took another swallow and said, “You should talk some sense into her.” He examined a burn mark on the table. “What can I say? If it’s love—” “It can’t be love, not on his part. Not with his wretched family. I’ve seen the way he acts around the village—there’s one thing he wants from her, and it’s not her hand in—” “We need hope as much as we need bread and meat,” he interrupted, his eyes clear for a rare moment. “We need

I took a long sip from my chipped mug, until the burning in my eyes receded. The wooden bench groaned as my father shifted. I said, “You should talk some sense into her.” “If it’s love—” “It’s not. Not on his part, at least. There’s one thing he wants from her, and it’s not her hand.” “We need hope,” he said gently. “As much as we need bread or meat. Let her keep this one. Let her imagine a better life for herself.” I stood. There was nowhere to go in our two-room cottage, especially now that Elain and Nesta had locked me out of our small bedroom. A small foxglove was painted on the edge of the table. The outer trumpets had faded to a smear of shell pink, the lower bit of the stem rubbed off entirely. Within a few years, it’d be gone—leaving no mark that it had ever been there. That I’d ever been there. I said, “I’ll think about it.”

Genuinely feeling inspired by Wolf, E. (1982) "Europe and the People Without History" ch. III F.C.E., México 2005, (pp 97-130)
Trying to use my amphibia obsession to help me studying by applying concepts from my textbooks to worldbuinding analysis
#like yes YES of course alliances between the local tax collectors would inevitably crumble through competition#leading to their weakening as a class of course the centralized power would take advantage of that of course the peasantry and the#centralized power would find a common enemy in the local power of course the centralized power would incite infighting amongst different#factions of the local power to strenghten its grip on the land and its workers of course the local power would try to combat that by#strengthening THEIR grip over the land and its workers of course the peasantry would see itself weakened and seek protection#now the question is why WHY doesn't the central power collect taxes by itself WHY does it rely on intermediaries#so what i'm getting is that. in this world. the central power is weaker than it seems and can barely exercise any control over the land#relying entirely on infighting among the local lords to stay afloat#which makes me wonder. why bother taking over the capital at all? why not just#cull the crown's control gradually over the territory#the central power is barely a threat at all#though the local lords would have probably eaten each other alive while doing so eventually#the easy answer of course is#''but monsoon. matt bradley most likely didn't read Wolf E. (1982) “Europe and the People Without History” ch. III F.C.E. México 2005''#the correct answer however is. i think the toads are just stupid#and grime and sasha's plan was stupid#honestly if I were them. i would have split them up and send sasha to join another tower and sneakily raise in the ranks#while grime joins some sort of bandit or mercenary group and tries to gather a mercenary army#while sasha earns the loyalty of multiple toads from multiple towers and idk incites some sort of revolutionary feeling like...#actually why don't we keep the taxes for ourselves? actually why don't we start calling the shots from now on? eventually taking over#frog valley with their armies and mostly just defending their position#eventually a civil war breaks out because of course it does. you have a gazillion different factions fighting against each other.#idk guys i just don't think taking the fucking iron throne is a realistic goal :/ like what are you even gonna do with that? you were more#powerful back in that tower.#☝️ anyway that's my top tier analysis which i'm 100% definitely not going to regret tomorrow when i start noticing all the inconsistencies#in what i just said. if tumblr thinks i'm smart then hopefully my professor will think so too in 9 days when i have my final exam

I made these charts to provide an easy reference guide for comparing the four Gospels! Feel free to share around wherever.
I think tumblr's crunching up these images so visit here for crisper versions (plus they're table format instead of png format).
Alt text version is under the readmore, necessarily formatted slightly differently but with all the same info.
TEXT ONLY / NON CHART VERSION:
Images show two charts, each credited to Avery Arden with a note that the material largely derives from the abridged version of Raymond E. Brown's An Introduction to the New Testament.
Chart 1: Comparing the Gospels, Part 1 – historical context
Mark
When:
Late 60s/early 70s
Who:
Jewish
Multi-lingual — peppers Aramaic into the Greek
Where:
Rome or Syria (clearly unfamiliar with Palestinian geography)
To whom:
Mainly to Gentiles new to Christianity who were experiencing persecution
Priorities:
Encourage audience and show them how their suffering fit into Jesus’ vision of the Kingdom of God
Matthew:
When:
Late 70s/80s
Who:
Jewish
Also multi-lingual, with Aramaic phrases;
Greek more polished than Mark’s
Where:
Probably in or near Antioch (in Syria); possibly Galilee
To Whom:
Mainly to well-educated Jews who were debating internally about how Jewish tradition fit into following Jesus
Priorities:
Promote Messiah Jesus who fulfills audience’s Jewish scriptures
inform church life and structure
Luke
When:
mid-to-late-80s
Who:
Gentile (possibly Jewish convert)
Educated Greek “historian” familiar with Septuagint; no use of Aramaic; expert use of Greek
Where:
Probably Greece; possibly Syria; also unfamiliar with Palestine
To whom:
Mainly to wealthy Gentiles influenced by Paul’s mission; living in an urban setting
Priorities:
Promote Isaiah-like Jesus; challenge audience to live out faith more actively (e.g., by redistributing wealth)
John
When:
90s / as late as 110
Who:
Jewish
Student(s) of “the Beloved Disciple” (the “Johannine school”)
Where:
Traditionally Ephesus; possibly Syria
To whom:
To a mixed crowd of Jews & Gentiles, at a time when tensions between Jews who did & didn’t follow Jesus had reached an all-time high
Priorities:
Promote Jesus’s divinity; strengthen unity in a group increasingly defining itself as separate from Jewish ones
Chart 2: Comparing the Gospels, Part 2 — Thematic Content
Mark
Emphasizes Jesus as:
Jesus as miracle-worker / healer; human being
Unafraid to depict human limitations & emotions in Jesus
Other defining attributes / content:
Focuses on Jesus’s actions, e.g., his miracles; as well as on his suffering and death
Originally ended with the empty tomb & fear; no resurrection relief
The disciples often fail to understand Jesus; Jesus is frequently secretive about his identity
Matthew
Emphasizes Jesus as:
A Moses figure, Messiah, Son of God; teacher
Removes descriptions that make Jesus seem limited, naïve
Other defining attributes / content:
Beatitudes (ch. 5); judgment of the “sheep and goats” (ch. 25);
Instructions for intracommunal relationships; forgiveness; “Great Commission” (ch. 28)
Polishes Mark’s depiction of the disciples to present them more favorably (esp. Peter as the “rock” of the church)
Luke
Emphasizes Jesus as:
Self-aware Son of God; prophet of the poor
Removes descriptions that make Jesus seem emotional, harsh, or weak
Other defining attributes / content:
Beatitudes (ch. 6) — with added “woes”; frequent warnings about risks of wealth
Also depicts disciples more favorably
Favorable depictions of tax collectors as sinners on the way to redemption;
negative views of Pharisees as rejectors of Jesus, juxtaposed with stories of Gentiles who express faith
John
Emphasizes Jesus as:
Divine, the Word / “I Am” made flesh; lamb of God
Often misunderstood by disciples & crowds due to his use of figurative language
Other defining attributes / content:
Poetic format, full of symbolism; similarities to Gnostic texts that arose in the same era
Lots of “testimony” and “signs”
Despite Jesus & his disciples being Jewish, John depicts “the Jews” as being against Jesus; his Jesus says things like “It is written in your law…”

Stay (ch. 2)
Fandom: Call of Duty Pairing: Viking!König x Female reader Length: Medium
Meeting some of the KorTac clan - Aiding The Collector - A wrong to make it right
The first night with the KorTac clan was humiliating.
After all the ogling and rude remarks as you were dragged through the street wasn't enough, you were made to sit at The Collectors' feet, while he feasted on meat, bread and ale. You were fed scraps.
As you ate greedily after the whole ordeal, the women of the tribe took pity on you, whisking you away to be scrubbed clean, shedding you of your clothes, given a new dress at least in a complimentary color as you ate and took in your new surroundings. Music was played in their great hall.
Another burly man came to König on the throne, talked about as if you weren't really there. Some toy, some play thing, some pet. You tore off a piece of bread with your teeth in earnest.
"Found a wife, did you König?"
"Hardly."
"How positively sad then, maybe she'll make someone else an honest man."
"Doubt it. No one is to touch her but me, understood?"
You'd later find out that his name was Soap.
He'd be the one to lead you out and around the dining hall, a firm grip on the back of your arm (granted permission by The Collector of course)that left little to the imagination that if you were foolish, he'd put you in the ground without a blink of an eye. He didn't even speak to you.
The room was lit with torches at each of its' four corners, shadows danced and swayed when Soap had opened the door, there was a decently made bed against the wall, draped in furs and blankets of turquoise and deep reds.
" 'at door there, only opens from one side. His side." Soap finally spoke, leaning against the doorframe, leisurely looking you up and down uncomfortably as you examined the room. "I don't know what he plans to do with ye' but it ain't gonna' be pretty or nice. Best stay on his good side, lass. You surely don't want to end up like the last one."
And without another word, he shut and locked the door behind him. You sat on the bed and waited for the unknown future.
….
Some days you didn't even see König. Left alone in that room, thankfully not a smelly cell below ground, left and forgotten about until you were nothing but bones. You made use of those quiet days, you'd found some hay stashed in a trunk and made yourself a broom.
You were given some sort of flat type of shoe that just didn't feel right. You were already wearing foreign clothes, now shoes too?
This was only meant to be a temporary stay and yet the KorTac clan had been treating you well.
As if you'd never see your parents again.
Your parents. Another night of crying yourself to sleep over them was looked promising. And that meant another curious look from one of the women or König, if he decided to collect you.
The next morning the door, from his side, unlocked and eased open with the toe of his boot. He stood at attention once he ducked inside. He took up the entire doorframe.
"We are going out," he stated and threw you your clothes, freshly laundered and stiff. Followed by your boots. "You'll need to be ready for what we are going to do today."
"What are we doing?"
"Not asking questions is one." König remarked, remaining still. Like a statue.
He only turned around when you pulled at the strings of your dress, only looking over his shoulder when you had finished. He watched you put on your boots, you barely had time to fix your hair when he lunged forward and grabbed your wrist. He bound you with that same cordage, leashing you to him.
Soap got a real laugh out of that.
….
Kim 'Horangi' Hong-Jin greeted you and The Collector with warm regards. This guy at least acknowledged you. He had greeted you at the gates of his village, the exposed and bleached bone of a whale welcomed you in. You'd never seen anything like it. It was the ribcage, perfectly displayed like a canopy.
König dropped his hand to your shoulder, keeping you close as you moved from house to house while Horangi watched on, munching on a juicy apple.
The Collector gave his signature knock, one you knew well, but from the outside, watching the behemoth use his forearm instead was something else entirely.
You were now an accomplice, aiding the boogeyman in his rounds. The sack Soap had tossed at you when you left the village was getting gaining weight. The coins clinking together as you two went door to door, these people were absoutely terrified and with good reason.
He was even scary in his sleep!
What sort of dreams did a man like that have anyway?
König thanked Horangi with a personal handshake and headbutt. "You're better than a pack mule." König snorted, chuckling to himself as you two moved on to the next town.
More money, more scared and frightened faces. Children hid, in the last town even the chickens held their clucking when you passed by. A village that reminded you of home made you wince when The Collector grabbed a young man up until his feet dangled and shook him like a cloth doll.
He was vicious and violent and cruel.
Ruthless.
A dangerous individual.
Dinner that evening was just the same as it had been. You'd been gifted a pillow to sit on, yet you still ate at his feet and no longer were tossed scraps but you got a whole plate to yourself. Day eight and not a word from your father, no carrier was sent out to the KorTac clan in your favor.
You started to dissolve your thinking that maybe these people knew more than they were letting on. Maybe there was word from your parents. Maybe they chose not to tell you! Being isolated for so long was weighing down your shoulders like a soggy blanket.
"Oh, sorry pet, didn't see you down there." Another head covered man bumped into you on his hot pursuit to speak with König, his right hand man, covered in wolf pelts and broad.
That's what they called you. Your name was erased. Just pet.
He was the one to find you crying in the hallway just outside your forsaken room after dinner. Again, bumping into you. For the KorTac clan to wear face coverings, one might think their eyesight might be somewhat enhanced.
Kruger bent down on one knee, dared touch your face to make you look at him.
"Why do you cry so much?"
"What?" You sniffled and he still held your face. Maybe he has a death wish, you thought.
"You're always crying."
"That's because I am punished here!" You shout and push away from him and the wall. "Wouldn't you be? König dragged me from my home because he up and decided he wanted to change course of payment days. Without fair notice and now I'm locked here with you people. I don't even know if I'll ever see my parents again!"
With that said, you burst into even more tears. Covering your face with your hands was worse, it just made you hotter and more upset that there was absolutely no one here who would, want or could console you.
"Do you feel like a prisoner, pet?"
"I am one! I don't want to be here anymore."
"Kruger!" König's booming voice seemed to flutter around the entire hall, his boots sounded deafening. "You had better not be the one to bring my pet to tears! I will have your throat."
Kruger straightened up quickly and backed away, adjusting his head covering and the wolf fur that hangs off his shoulders. Not like The Collectors cloak, its as deep and lush as the forest that surrounds the village.
He looks down at you wiping your face, trying to catch your breath.
Your chin jitters.
"No, sir."
"Leave us." Is all he says and you turn to take your leave into your room but are stopped, König's hand is on your wrist in an almost intimate manner. Which is shocking and somehow even more terrifying. "Not you."
Kruger left you in the hallway, made sure he was gone and out of sight before entering your chamber. The gust of wind from him opening the door made your bedroom torches crackle and sputter about as he dragged you behind him. He'd only stood in your adjacent doorway, so to see him and have him here in you, in the room you've been tidying to your liking until your father can pay out was - strange.
"Sit."
You sniffled and did as was asked. Still too afraid to ask what happened to the last ransom captive. You obeyed without question. You wrung your hands together as you watched the big man pace.
"They can't keep seeing you crying, you know? Their going to start thinking I'm breaking you apart every night."
"You might as well at this point. Am I ever going home?"
"That's up to your parents, not me." König said with a scoff, as if this wasn't he whole ensemble, he orchestrated this madness to begin with! He's the one that switched up payday to begin with, this was his fault, his doing and the more you sat there and how could König be so passive about it? Too much. It was all too much!
Without warning you sprung up and shoved him, he didn't move much but he looked down at you with narrowed eyes.
"This is your fault!" You pushed him again and for some reason, or maybe you imagined it, he did move this time. "This is all your fault! You did this to me."
"I did it for your own good!"
"That doesn't even make any sense, none of this makes sense. I'm stuck in limbo," you shouted and shoved at him once more, he allowed you, actually allowed you to move him back towards the wall. "I'm stuck in this room! I'm stuck with your clan a-and for what? A failed payment, on a day that you chose!"
König sighed.
"Is this some sick joke? I've been here for a month now, no word from my father, no word from my mother… have you? Have you had word from them, Collector?"
"I have."
Your lashes clumped together, eyes welling up when he crossed his arms and looked away to one of the torches. "You… you have? When? Why didn't you notify me, I'm losing my mind in here."
"Last week."
"What? What do you mean last week? I was here, I've been here! I did not see him."
"No, pet you wouldn't would you? Do remember when I asked Soap to take you to Keeva the seamstress for some mending?"
You were the on to pace now. Of course you remember, it was the first time you were allowed out of his sight and untethered to another person. Keeva was the sweetest one out of the entirety of the KorTac clan. She was round and full, waddling down the muddy lane with you in tow, both of you carrying clothes from the great hall.
"…yes."
"He came the village, alone. You were right," König shrugged and shook his head. "Times are a little tough for your family, they can barely feed themselves. Your father only had half of what is due anyhow."
"Then… how long did he say? An estimate, even."
"No idea. But he did offer me something far more than its' worth."
You shivered. The hairs on the back on your arms prickled.
König then pulled out a familiar bracelet. It was passed down to your mother from her mother and so on. It was to be treasured, worn with grace and beauty. Carrying on. But now, in all its' emerald glory, still pretty as ever, it looked dirty in his palm.
He held it out to you.
"Why do you have that?" Your voice cracking and watery. Your throat threatening to close in on itself like a dune of sand. Blood pounded in your ears.
The Collector cocked his head and once again urged you to take the jewelry.
"Your father gave it to me," his hold on your wrist was tight, but not forceful. Careful, would be the closest thing you could think of when he slipped it on for you. "To give to you."
"W-why?"
"He can't pay me in gold or coin." The Collectors voice deepened and you've never felt smaller than what came out of his treacherous mouth.
No no nonopleaasenopleasenono…
"What he can pay me in is this. And you."

Devils learning to doubt?
Spoilers for Chapter 6
Credit to @devilmen-collector for the screenshots
Now this is what I mean that devils are the "Good guys" on this conflict.
Now, if you remember that Camal said that MC just saw one side of the fight (Even though it was a weak argument at the time cause MC's experiences with Gabriel and his angels.) But this moment was brought and it reminds me that the devils aren't as squeaky clean as we think. They still experiment with Angels to make Mammon's "Body" in Ch 5.
Who knows what else that they did that MC hasn't heard off.
And this seed of doubt cause Bimet and Valefor thing its a dangerous idea of MC did side with the Angels, even thought they should know by now that MC is on their side. That's is hinting doubt.
This scene was left like this, and I assume that this might play a part in Ch 7.
What do you think?

Tell her how you feel or release an entire album about your feelings for her in a language she doesn't understand? Easy choice.

Hime-chan is me when a chapter drops. "Ehhh? Again?"
Her relationship to music is interesting. Maybe she's in that phase where being the first find the next band before they make it big is really important. She might even be pleased if people were like "never heard of them" to start off unlike Aya who just felt alone.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0ddb67382f96d2ad171fd0bd6f6e03c7/5b3eab23de238ad6-e6/s540x810/0ad48647aa5c54480336703b329a0058ac11853e.jpg)
Me looking at the lack of GL getting picked up by publishers.

A new parent just dropped. And it's a wine mom on a fancy couch. They rich.
Hime has upper-middle class parents and a brother it looks like. A record player and fancy speakers. But no instruments. Her family are music collectors?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/151092769063aab806e0339ef8b94edc/5b3eab23de238ad6-58/s540x810/36b328a7b640511bb710484a92596e7fe2948a97.jpg)
I do like how Agu is all "F'it. I'm using the real names for Soundcloud and Spotify and let the publisher figure it out."
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0855810645c49a7e0d352a69d007a0c3/5b3eab23de238ad6-d3/s540x810/512a1caf470a30b40cec679956fe7a721fd00f1c.jpg)
Koga is publishing her music! The earlier viral video wasn't something in her control, but this is and she's doing it. Just like Aya wanted before she was hit by that rizz nosebleed.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/57362608b9e50536c4858348ff4c5d7d/5b3eab23de238ad6-2c/s540x810/66a4c8736b2e66ab781c27befabcd54aa047ae61.jpg)
Even if Hime-chan hits refresh all day she can't be faster to the gun than being someone's muse.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/7857b70608ea880aaf7a08d3e5b3ac38/5b3eab23de238ad6-f6/s540x810/87a4119a6b9b2a122cea1536622efe6549ba600e.jpg)
Her family are definitely collectors if not producers. Aloud Records? That'd explain why she takes her music activities almost like a job and is on a talent hunt. It's a family business.
If Narita is the yuri protector then Hime is the music side of it. I don't think she'd get in the way of Koga's muse. That'd be counterproductive. Plus she's seen them.

WITH KOGA'S HEAD AND HAND ON THE ALBUM COVER.
When Aya learns English she's going to know. Any time now. Very smart, Koga.
Koga's grand gestures in each volume are evolving along with her: 1. The Radiohead cover (hidden identity) 2. Song 1 (?) performed on the stage (to only Aya) 3. Released an album (public identity)
We are breathing down the neck of that pre-release concert art. You know the one.

So in this post Red made in the technical terms for magic users necromancer is one of them
"Necromancer: a user of truename magic to temporarily recall fragments of shades of the dead, usually for consultations. No elemental magic involved. Inexact science."
And first it felt out of left field for me but then I remembered the importance of the dead souls of Vash still being connected to him. Their souls are part of the soul of the city until Vash removes that bit of soul energy right? (guys I'm working quick here I'll double check my work later) So there are spellcasters (using that word since no elemental magic involved) who can call the truename of a soul and talk to them? If one such necromancer happened to walk past Vash in it's current state and knew the name of someone in the city, could they call that name, and speak to that person?? They're using true names to talk to souls right? Like using an primordial's true name but on a person? [need to go reread the Collector's thing in ch 11 again] Are they doing magic with the soul? How do souls work in Aurora??? Soul energy what are you????? can't wait till we meet the soul shaper monks and I possibly get more answers and 85 more questions I need to go reread Erin's explanation about the soul shaper monks again and also soul channels and also the magic lore page on the website
also detective show about a necromancer soulcaster trying to solve murders (fun but kind of done before) or track something down. True name magic to bring back this historian's shade to ask where did you put that one document we need it for research. Perhaps both is going on here. Necromancer wants to track down something/ do some magic research but is traveling with someone who is trying to solve a mystery/ murders and it's just a Shade: Wha? what happened?
Channeler: *dramatic sad music* I'm sorry to disturb you, and that we weren't able to help you in life, but we need to know some things so we can help more people now.
Necromancer: *music cuts out on a bad note* yeah like when you said you'd write a paper on the eternal recurrence of the soul what did you mean? *plucky music*
Shade: I'm sorry, you called me back from the dead to ask about my research?
Channeler: No, I - that's not -*turns to necromancer* can you focus please *back to the shade* I'm sorry, but we need to know about how you died
Shade: it's just,*tearful music resumes, more hopeful* no one's really asked about that topic in a bit. I thought no one actually cared. It was all 'deadlines this' and 'hurry up with that manuscript that'
Channeler: oh
Necromancer: Oh I find your paper on [smart thing] fascinating! not as much as my friend here
Wizard: hi i'm a big fan can I have your autograph
Shade: oh I'd love to!
*shenanigans because shade can't hold a pen and the channeler is getting more worried about time limits or something*

just because I'm thinking about it, here's one of those periodic posts where I list off a few random youtube channel recommendations I've been enjoying lately (or have been enjoying long-term (or for any length of time really))
Masaru. - I like fishing. but I can't do it at the moment. Masaru also likes to fish. he free dives, he brings a fish up, he cooks the fish, then he says how it tastes. sometimes it is an unusual fish. sometimes it tastes good. sometimes it tastes wretched. he will tell you. this singlehandedly solves basically every single complaint I have with most cooking/fishing channels. this is cocomelon to me
MIQ(MIO) - it's MIQ! one of the strongest anison vocalists of... well, basically ever. it's her official channel! she uploads concert recordings, karaoke advice for her own songs, and general updates on what she's doing here. I'm always aghast when I see how low her viewcounts are, given that she's an industry legend who's been going strong for over 40 years.
bellykelly - vinyl collector, uploading some really good cuts that you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. one of those channels where I'm always up to date on uploads, and when I fall behind, I just playlist it all to catch up
Xerxes Vinyl Classics - vinyl collector, hasn't upload in a while, but has lots of older releases and remix pressings that are otherwise pretty rare. has some of the higher quality recordings of cantopop releases that are otherwise a little difficult to listen to in acceptable quality
Zuka Zhvania - music-enjoyer and song-uploader with a VERY frequent upload schedule. he's (as far as I know) not an official promoter or anything, but he's pretty damned good at keeping the tunes coming. if you're looking for someone to set you on some obscure industrial and house cuts, check out this channel
LIVING ONLY RECORDS - official channel for a doujin label with some absolutely fantastic noise rock, punk, and shoegaze bands on it. it's my understanding that this is less of "a record label" and more of a way for 群青リボン and friends to book out live houses together while selling merch at one table. which is a pretty noble cause
Someone45356 - probably laying pretty safe claim to the title of "most genre-firsts in the touhou doujin scene," Someone45356 is a strong recommend just for the level of care they put into their arrangements. I love their video thumbnails and their arrangement notes in the video description. a great channel at any level of musical interest (but an ESPECIALLY good channel if you're also a musician)
UPROAR24 - sick and tired of plguin and samplepack demo videos that are 75% ad copy by volume and still don't manage to show you the stupid thing in action? tired of looking at questionably-useful free vsts and not being able to tell whether you're even comfortable having that rubbish on your pc? UPROAR24 runs a channel that's pretty explicitly a reaction to this, making dodgy demos of dodgier plugins. works lovely as a catalogue to browse when you're looking for a new toy
USUDA - the pillar of the Armored Core fan community, USUDA has arranged more Armored Core music than anyone else short of actual FromSoft staff. he also releases his music for free download, including his midi arrangements. very friendly guy in all the interactions I've seen, and also pretty good at remembering people he's seen in other comment sections. I'd honestly shoot him a message first if I had any questions about arranging songs from these games lol
Ricardo Cruz - if you've listened to any portugese (br) covers of anison, you've heard Ricardo Cruz. even if you only listen to originals, there's still a pretty fucking solid chance you've heard him, because he's a JAM Project contributor. absolutely wonderful channel if you like watching skilful singers duet with other powerhouses
Saint Mauve - the best Hellsinker channel on youtube, which isn't an especially competitive title. but I think Saint Mauve would probably still be the best Hellsinker channel on youtube even if there were more than like three. my qualifier for when I've found something weird in the Hellsinker periphery is when I haven't seen Saint Mauve post about it. also plays other (often HS-adjacent) doujin stg and has good opinions on them
Tom Green - this is a weird recommendation but if you don't intuitively understand the appeal of a now-early-50s Tom Green calmly talking about his farm animals and riding around on a horse for hours at a time, I'm really not sure I can sell you on it. oddly calming
mercurytower - this channel is run by Asa, the musician behind Souvenirs to Forget. before they started releasing their original work, this was mostly used to upload guitar covers (which are good, but guitar covers aren't really enough to make me give a glowing recommendation of a channel). Souvenirs to Forget is a really exciting solo project and one I'm personally keeping an eye on. naturally, they upload their releases to this channel
Trance Classics - vinyl collector, records videos to go with the music, focuses more or less entirely on trance. I've got no excuse here. I just fucking love trance and always have, so you can pander to me really easily by just making a channel like this. if you like trance, it has hours and hours of trance
SJ HanStone Lee - the early-gen Mabinogi composer, among a lot of other things. it's been a while since he's posted anything new on this channel, but I check in every now and again. by my reckoning, one of the best mmo composers (and honestly one of the best game composers in general) of the past two decades. there's some stuff on here and his soundcloud that serves as wink-wink-nudge-nudge loveletters to his time working on the early Mabinogi soundtrack

Hi all! Thanks to efforts by @masterwolftfs I have managed to recover even more of TheBurdenBorne's (DeviantArt) old stories!
Below will be a huge index compiled by @imsrtman of most of the titles of TheBurdenBorne's written works.
What I have already posted on Tumblr will clickable on the list.
Similarly, anything marked with an asterisk means that I have a copy of it and will post it soon. I also have some stories that I'm not sure what the title is of so I'll need help with that as well.
As for the remaining entries on the list:
Please send me a DM if you have any of the stories that are not marked or posted yet! I
It does not matter if you only have say part 4 or part 2. If everyone contributes parts here and there we can recover most of it!

So Tiana was a believer in magic. Interesting. Was she also a believer in miracles? All magic had a price of some kind, either simple in reagents or extreme in how you drew from it.
Most people, especially in accepting towns, tried to spin magic as misunderstood. Majke believed that, to a degree. But she also believed that Magicks did their best to give magic good press. It was a complicated thing, a social issue of a grander scale than Majke could be able to comprehend.
"What about one that turns people's heads," Majke says with a laugh, but not one that implies that she's joking, "Not to get your hopes up, but I've been known to study unique spells before. Perhaps it's nothing, but one comes to mind. One that might get people's attention and just let them know this is here?" She stops there, seeing as she doesn't want to actually sell the spell as too amazing. Plus, the mechanics of the spell didn't matter. It was what it did that would interest Tiana, it seemed. Best not invite too many questions on the questionable. "It's nothing they wouldn't want. It's just a mere suggestion. You can't gain foot traffic if no one knows it's here."
She shrugs. "Of course, I could think of some other ideas, if that doesn't appeal to you."
