official english title: believe in yourself

～せよ – imperative form of archaic verb す (modern する) plus emphatic よ. being an archaic form, it has a more formal or literary tone, and can feel quite authoritative. it appears as part of this chapter’s title, 己を鼓舞せよ (inspire yourself).

家 – a suffix read as か. used after a noun to indicate someone’s occupation, pursuits, disposition, etc. similar to the english suffixes -ist and -er. it appears in one of the omake comics in this chapter, where tanjirou’s crow is shouting out petty rumors. the crow says that across the river, a floral arranger is fighting with their successor.
