so I got distracted and I'm sketching out some ideas for a modern low fantasy (it doesn't have a title yet so let's call it Omens Fatal, Portents Awful, and the Prophecy of Death because I am nothing if not dramatic)

feat. Iris Chaney, a haunted psychic foretelling the death of anyone she touches; Sol Belrose, a fake TV doctor who claims to cure anything and his medicines do actually seem to work (but only when he makes them); and Angel Morelli, Sol's PR co-host boyfriend who has something going on but no one's quite sure what
