Happy holidays! If you're still doing these types of asks, how would the ROs react to bumping into MC under the mistletoe while in the crush phase?

Rook: He's rolling his eyes and laughing it off. There is no force which would make him take that kiss, and even if there are others joking/teasing him about it, he just shrugs them off. "If you want to kiss someone, just go for it. It's such a goofy tradition." (He says, ignoring the heavy irony of the statement or the feelings he's avoiding.)

Beck: He isn't shy about it. When he glances up and back to you, there is a question in his gaze asking for permission. When you give it, there isn't any hesitation. His hand on your face, guiding you to him, his lips warm against yours. It lasts only a moment, but the genuine feelings wrapped around it traps the two of you in your own little world, and any onlookers comments at bay.

Rhea: She eyes it almost clinically, likely wondering who's the culprit for putting such a thing up in the first place. She's quick to apologize, saying to ignore it. You don't need to do anything you don't want to do, especially under such pretenses. (If you're bold enough to say you want to, she'll let you, though. Trying to keep herself together as she lets you get close).

Zoe: They would run from embarrassment LMAO and apologize immediately after. They've never been affectionate with anyone, and showing affection like that for the first time in public is somehow mortifying. They endlessly apologize, and hope no one made fun of you for their actions. It was just an automatic reaction

Lars: He has the most dry look on his face as his eyes flicker up before going back to you. He doesn't look like he wants to do it, but he doesn't look like he hates the idea either. If anything, he waits for how you'll act (but only for like a minute because it wants to get this over with).

???: They have no idea the significance of such a thing, but when you explain it, you find yourself kissed before you can even finish. It's quick, so quick you would have doubted it happened at all if they didn't still linger just a fraction closer from where they usually do, "Just like this, right?"

How would the ROs react to a drunk Mc rejecting them and keeping telling them, "I have a partner, so back off" when the MC and the RO are in a relationship?

Rook: This makes him so goofily happy, like you're so so dumb when you're drunk but he's also a little drunk and there's just something about the way you're so adamant about it that really gets to him. Maybe because the reality of you two being together still hasn't set in yet.

Beck: Beck is laughing under his breath, trying to coax you back to him like one would a nervous animal, "MC...it's me, Beck. Come on, let's get you home." He gently takes you by the arm and leads you back home, whispering assurances whenever you start protesting again.

Rhea: This is such a welcome change in a relationship for her. She still is Not Good at dealing with drunk people, but also seeing that you're truly dedicated to her even when drunk is assuring. She'll enlist one of her friends to help convince you to bring you back home, trying to make you snap out of it to realize it's her.

Zoe: They don't try to argue, wondering how much you've had to drink to not recognize them since they think appearance wise they are pretty recognizable. Would probably say "I know, Zoe asked me to bring you back." And lead you out of there. Finds the whole thing a little silly and nice, if not a tad exasperating.

Lars: "I know you do, because it's me." He inwardly groans, considering just...throwing you over his shoulder to get you out of there LOL but outwardly taking a more diplomatic approach. He also just thinks something about this situation is very You. If you start to protest, he's just like "Who else knows about (insert embarrassing secret here)" and when it throws you off in your drunken state he snags the opportunity to get you home

???: Has a small little smile on their face, "It's me, you know." Pulls on the connection they know you can feel even in your state. Gently takes your hands, with the scars that mirror yours, while trying to hide how adorable they think you are, and leads you back home.

i need you all to watch this because i took slightly more wary/incredulous options re: necromancy in my second playthrough and got the single most amazing dialogue in emmrich's romance:

emmrich: there are mysteries past our comprehension. something beyond the weft of magic or deepest fade. emmrich: when i'm fortunate, i spy suggestions of them here. rook: i do find the necropolis exciting—creepy! weird and creepy! emmrich: you astound me, rook. you have a distaste for the dead, the undead and necromancy. and yet... rook: where's this heading? emmrich: there's no shame in a little attraction to the forbidden, my darling. rook: pfft! what? like i want you to throw me over one of those fancy graves with skulls and flowers and floating spirits, and— and... rook: (clears throat) you're lucky i like you. emmrich: undoubtedly.

torn between second-hand embarrassement for rook digging his own grave (no pun intended) vs the hilarity of emmrich's knowing look i'm—
