My Rook and Davrin having kids is low-key hilarious to write because Davrin is So Convinced being a warden means he fires blanks that my Rook actually doesn't consider that she might be pregnant when her period is two months late because it just Can't Happen. She's just like "this is real weird but I can't be pregnant!" It's only when she gets her first bout of morning sickness (and it's BRUTAL) that she finally accepts It Did Happen. And when Davrin comes and finds her all concerned and asks how she got so sick so fast she says "You did this to me 😡" and Davrin (whose tummy feels fine) just stands there like

So long story short I’m considering having dream sequences in my Veilguard fic where my Rook dreams about herself and her companions running around the streets of a vague Minrathous/elven ruin as animals because symbolism. Here’s who I’ve got

I cannot for the life of me figure out what Emmrich should be. All of the others are obvious. But Emmrich??? A mouse?? A rat?? A vulture?? I need this man’s fursona for my dream sequences but I can’t assign him one!!!

I am obsessed with the fact that the Veilguard all gathers round to watch Solas's saddest memories and then dissects them like it's an episode of Desperate Housewives. 10/10 no notes, exactly what he deserves.
