Wanda had needed company. Her mind had been racing and she had been unable to shut it off. In times like these, she would normally seek out one of her teammates, spend time with them so that she could distract herself. But that wasn't the case anymore. The ones she had been closest to were dead and the others... well she didn't wish to burden them when they were already going through enough. In the end, she found herself standing outside of Aaron's door, hesitating before nodding gently.

As he stepped aside, she made her way in, waiting for him to close the door before turning to him. "I hope i wasn't... disturbing you at all. I know that it's late."

     The last thing he’d fucking expected was a despondent Wanda at his front door. He hesitated, hand still on the doorknob, looking dumbfounded. Why? But the question never made it out of his mouth. Maybe he didn’t really want to know why.

     Aaron stepped back, holding the door open for her. No questions asked. No judgment said.

aaron is a high school art teacher and is pretty much the perfect combination of his parents. he takes after theo in looks and charm but he he’s sweet and genuine just like delilah. 

it was important for delilah to raise kids who believed in god but her and theo agreed they wouldn’t push it on them and let them both come into it on their own as well as being open and loving about everyone. because of that aaron ended up developing his own relationship with god and its something that’s very important to him.

aaron is very protective of his family. like his sister, he doesn’t know a lot of about his parents’ past but he knows that they both had tumultuous childhoods and that’s why they don’t have any kind of relationship with their grandparents. except for theo’s mother who is in a facility due to her brain damage but theo and delilah refuse to tell their kids the real reason why.

Basil Baker's family moved from London to Godscobh when he was around 10, and though it was hard to leave Britain, he was excited for the new experience. When Basil first landed in Godscobh as a boy, he would scurry up and down every street with bright eyes and curiosity for every corner. In such a big town, surely there were endless places to get a good education, work an honest job, and make great friends!

No such luck. Basil found out very quickly that a mousy kid like him would do well to stay off the streets of Godscobh, especially in the dark evenings when Zika's goons came out to play. He was a good, honest kid, always picking up new skills and staying true to his moral compass in the town that was constantly trying to steer him off course. He might've even been called a scholar and a prodigy at this point; in the fields of violin, logic, debate, and more extracurriculars that led him to intellectual excellence.

Although he longed to return to London after high school, Basil knew the police force couldn't be trusted to keep Godscobh out of sinister hands. Ever since he was old enough to build his own business, Basil has been working to uncover the secrets of the town's underbelly. He's known for being eccentric and wild about solving mysteries, and even more shady once he knows something you don't want him knowing... Though he'd never blackmail and lie to get what he wants, Basil knows knowledge is power in this town, and he hopes solving enough mysteries will one day take down the powerhouses who've built the seedy darkness that lurks within Godscobh's streets.

For the past 30 years, Basil has been known as a shady character about town in his own right - more moral than the police, but more reclusive than Oberron or Barbossa even.
