[one piece episode 1098 & chapter 1111 spoilers]
Some Joyboy, Zunesha & the Iron Giant connections
I love how the new anime episode 1098 started with Vegapunk saying about the Iron Giant that "Once it wakes up, it's gonna be big trouble" and later adding also that the WG doesn't know at all that it's on the Egghead island:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and it's reflected in the new chapter 1111 which ended with the Iron Giant fully waking up and walking, towering over the whole island!!
Tumblr media
I can't wait to see the look on the Gorosei's faces when they realize who just woke up, if this is how they react towards someone like the giants helping Luffy, who poses a big threat to them now:
Tumblr media
and that some scientists didn't listen to (possibly) the Gorosei's direct orders to destroy the Iron Giant 200 years ago!
I wonder if the Iron Giant's energy is somehow connected with Luffy/Joyboy's own will or strength (like that heartbeat rhythm, which Zunesha could feel on a long distance, and Iron Giant woke up when Luffy went into Gear 5), and therefore it could now attack the Marine ships surrounding Egghead to help Luffy and others escape.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some time ago I made this post about the eyes of Zunesha and the Iron giant, and now that seeing how Giant the iron giant really is, I have so much more thoughts about their connection and relation to Joyboy and how they possibly could have been all giants.
Tumblr media
Another similarity with Zunesha and the Iron Giant was the theme of being apologetic towards Joyboy. Something in the past must have happened that they feel like they let Joyboy down (or in my opinion- there wasn't a way to save Joyboy/ had to abandon him, or watched the WG "disappear" him, (just like now the Gorosei are threatening to Luffy, Dorry and Brogy)) and both of their roles of what they were doing up until current storyline is a sort of self inflicted punishment (& loss of will or energy):
Zunesha walking around the world for almost a millenium, (and thanks to it, the island of Zou became a home to the Minks);
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and the Iron Giant shutting down/remained deactivated for 200 years. (but thanks to its presence, Vegapunk created other robots based on its design, studied it in details but couldn't replicate/understand its powersource).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(And there was some other similar theme of the apology -with Joyboy himself leaving a message on the Fishman Island's poneglyph with an apology for the previous mermaid princess.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With the way Luffy always helps those he encounters if they ask for help, this could have been a similar situation, but Joyboy possibly knew that for some reason he couldn't accomplish his promise or help her during their lives..)

A detail that makes me feel a little bit savage in the series though is when Percy comes home and as the audience we know this is when everything is going to change, and Sally knows that too, and on the precipice of this shift in her life (when she is preparing to send her son off into a world she knows she cannot truly be a part of, a place where she can no longer protect him from this side of himself) we find Sally taking comfort in a storm... which is just !!!! There is something about Sally Jackson, after all these years, seeking out comfort from the rain because it connects her to this man she once loved, the father of her child, into whose care she is about to send him, it just drives me a little bit wild to be perfectly honest. Not to mention it is a really subtle, poetic hint to who Percy's father is for those who might be new to the series.

chinese satellite (cut scene)
III. hunger.
He dreams of Annabeth.
Fear is a crippling feeling– stronger than love, stronger than power. He thinks about how the emptiness always leaves his dreams blank, a monochrome silence he’s grown familiar with. A dream that isn’t a dream and a ghost that isn’t a ghost.
Hunger is not a feeling that Percy is familiar with.
Hunger for food, that is.
No matter how bad things had gotten during his childhood, his mother made sure that there would always be food on the table, always a warmth in his belly. Hunger had never clawed at his stomach and chest.
Hunger for love, however, is a completely different story. It is a longing that scratches at the soul, at the bones, at the very foundations of a human being, bringing them to their knees.
A hunger for a father’s love is a burden Percy has always had to carry. It weighs on him even now, as he wakes up on the floor again, blinking tiredly at the ceiling and wondering how the hell he got there, staring up at the glow-in-the-dark stickers of dinosaurs. He turns and sees Poseidon at the door, green eyes wide and unsure.
Something sad and younger reaches out inside of him. Something older and angrier pushes it down and bares its teeth.
“Perseus– Percy. Breakfast is– there are pancakes downstairs, if you want,” he says and he pauses by the doorframe, and it’s the smallest kind of hesitation, and Percy doesn’t know if he’s longing or dreading for words to come out of his father’s mouth.
But all he says is, “They’re blue.”
The emptiness left behind sends a dagger stabbing through his heart. He hears Poseidon – never dad, never father – call for Estelle, and Percy doesn’t know if it’s his imagination (he wishes it was, God he does) but his voice is bright and there’s laughter ringing through the halls.
The tears threaten to drown him but he can’t bring himself to get up and swallow the salt in his throat, and he stares up at the dinosaurs he and his mother had placed when he was five years old and happy.
He thinks of Estelle and her many stars and the moon and the sun, all done with her on her dad’s shoulders and her mother laughing and telling them to be careful and pointing out all the best places to put the stars and his insides twist with– anger? Discomfort?
No, those weren’t the words.
It was jealousy.
God. His insides twist and his lungs burn with the effort of keeping his tears in because he has no right, no right to feel this way and the guilt sits on his chest, heavy and unforgiving, and he lets out a strangled sort-of sob and having ruined another memory with his mother.
So much your father’s son, the voice says again, the tone so cold and cruel it takes away some of the warmth and magic embedded in the walls of his bedroom.
He doesn’t answer it. The silence is near-deafening.
Maybe he shouldn’t have woken up.

i don't pretend to understand prophecies. ( paul to poseidon )
Tumblr media
Situated on Sally and Paul's sofa, Poseidon hummed his agreement. Prophecies were complicated and beyond the comprehension of even the gods, even those who had bore the weight of its burden. It was indeed best to acknowledge ones own
❝ I was once the God of Prophecy, you know, ❞ he informed the mortal, not knowing if he had inclination of that. He taught ancient history and knew enough of Poseidon's history, he reckoned. Did he seek out more, once the truth had come out? Or had he decided not to dwell too much on his wife's godly ex? ❝ Back before Apollo was even a thought. And even I do not understand them. Sometimes it's best not to. ❞
Prophecies could have one’s mind up and down and stuck on what turned out to be unimportant meanings, losing sight of all else. Prophecies were self-fulfilling.

Once we were alone, his smile faded. “Are you all right, my boy?” “Yeah. I’m fine. I guess.” “I heard stories,” Poseidon said. “But I wanted to hear it directly from you. Tell me everything.” So I did. It was kind of disconcerting, because Poseidon listened so intently. His eyes never left my face. His expression didn’t change the whole time I talked.

Tumultuous Waters
Ch.1
Orm Marius fanfic
Warnings: allusions to abuse and sexual assault
I have lived my life without love.
I never once felt affection for my husband, nor did I ever think what he held for me was pure.
He looked at me once and claimed me to be his, but my refusal came with denial. I was his from the moment he laid his eyes upon me, and no power on Olympus nor Earth could keep him from me.
Even when he lay with me, I prayed it would be over soon. I would watch above, hoping to be struck so that I wouldn't have to hear his grunts and feel his skin on mine.
This is the life of a wife to a God.
Yet I was able to find some happiness in our marriage.
I bore a son named Triton, who became King of the Seven Seas. He bore my eyes, which I took pride in. Of course I would never blame my son for the actions of his father, but I had sighed in relief when I saw that the only relation he held to Poseidon was his strength and hair color.
Then a daughter came, to whom I named Rhodos. I feared what Poseidon may do to a daughter of our own - which God's he would attempt to pawn her off to.
But she held a fire in her that he had burnt out within me long ago. Rhodos took charge of her love and future, and found happiness and love in Helios, the Sun God. When Aphrodite had cursed him to forget all of his lovers, including her, it was the first time I found myself marching up to her in rage.
And I punched the Goddess of Beauty.
I feared her retaliation, but instead, the Goddess laughed and smiled upon me. “Finally, someone who refuses to take my shit.”
We became great friends after she reversed the curse and Helios spent many centuries honoring my daughter.
But after my children made it clear that they now had their own lives, I was back to square one. I would spend days watching Poseidon drive his ego so far up his ass that he'd be grinning like he created the universe. Centuries seemed to be slow as I stopped fighting him, and became. . .lifeless.
I missed my family.
I missed the ocean.
But I was reminded that I'm not just Poseidon's wife. I'm a daughter of Nereus, and the third of fifty Nereids who created mermaids and sirens. We are shapeshifters and in the myths and legends for assisting sailors in their journeys across the ocean.
My son created Atlantis. He was proud of his kingdom, and was so delighted to show it to me. He had learnt from seeing his father that no one should rule a Kingdom on their own, but he elected a council to help him truly learn how to be a good ruler.
And he had children.
The Tritonides, similar to my sister's. Never once did a son come from his wife but he did not mind at all. I watched with pride as my son adored his daughters and doted on his wife, despite the lack of assistance and care from Poseidon.
Yet I could not stay in this kingdom.
For Poseidon commanded I return home.
For the next eight hundred years, I stayed in Olympus and found myself slipping again.
He was never faithful.
He was never kind.
He was cruel.
But he's a God.
And I can never be free of him.
I would only hear the news that my son's lineage had no longer been on the throne through Poseidon - who bragged about such a thing. He declared that a merman who had slain King Nero and Queen Athena had taken the crown because of corruption, and laughed.
Not only had our son's bloodline been slain, but his father dared to laugh.
I know I stand no chance in fighting him, but he was our son - our baby boy. So just as I had done to Aphrodite, I had punched him in the face and watched as his eyes turned sinister.
He hit me.
He didn't stop hitting me.
My eyes stared up at him as he prepared to take me, “you think this makes you a man? In all our years together, I have seen you as less than a spoiled boy. How disappointed our son would be if he could see this view.”
He left me with his limp excuse of a cock and I allowed my body to heal through the ocean water.
I had even hoped I would be able to drown.
But as the Queen Mother of the Seven Seas, I prepared myself. The puffy eyes and the bruises vanished as quickly as they appeared, and let Atlantis prepare themselves for their guest.
A permanent guest.

42. “… You wanna fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid.”
Each of the gods had their favorite people; Zeus adored those who were hardworking and worshiped him, Hercules loved every human being regardless of their character or manner, Apollo liked poets, especially those who wrote about him, Medusa only loved women who had experienced a lot of bad in their lives, and the only people Hades liked were the dead ones. Poseidon also had his one favorite human
It was a simple man with no worries and with adoration to the sea; maybe you liked swimming or surfing, maybe you just liked the view of the sea and its atmosphere in the evening, or maybe you just loved watching programs related to the deep. Nevertheless, you were curious about the water and what secrets it holds.
And meeting Poseidon was only a matter of time for you. It’s just that one day the King of all Oceans appeared on the beach where you were and without a word of objection took you to his underwater kingdom; that same day you became his personal toy and pet, who received from him both small gifts in the form of pearls, but also spanking and long hours spent in bed, which gave him a lot of pleasure (and you too).
Most of the time you were on land: working, studying, and hanging out with your family, but when Poseidon was bored, wanted some body pleasure, or just wanted to hold you on his lap while observing his realm, he would send sea creatures for you or he personally took you to his place.
After all, water is everywhere, and since water is everywhere, so is Poseidon too.
{ ・゚✧ }
That day you spent time next to the fair-haired god, who calmly sat on his huge throne, listening to the requests of sea fish and other creatures. He reluctantly granted their wishes, immediately ordering them to leave the palace. His eyebrows were tight and his eyes cold; he looked serious, dignified, but also really attractive, much better than any man you’ve ever met on the ground.
Spending time with the God od Water made you know him much better – you knew what he wanted, what annoyed him, what he liked and cherish. And at that moment he just wanted sex. Thats all. It was both a human and a divine need.
“… You wanna fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid.” You said slightly amused, not yet realizing how your behavior might be perceived.
“Stupid?” His indescribable gaze rested on your eyes, then your shoulders, waist and thighs. Your human clothes were fun and incongruous with the decor of the great throne room. “On your knees.” He said in a loud voice, moving his hand and then close the huge iron door to the room. With a slight smile, though also uncertainty on your heart, you approached the god, sitting right in front of him. “You better make me feel good, because this could be our last meeting.” He added in a more weary tone and you nodded. You would never say ‘No’ to him.
With a slow movement of your fingers, you took off the lower part of Poseidon’s clothes; his cock was so huge and glittered more than the mentioned above pearls. You licked your upper lip with relish and after a short while taking his dick in your mouth. Due to the length, you helped yourself with a hand that took the lower part of the cock and tightened it a bit.
While sex itself was a nice thing for Poseidon, watching your almost animalistic behavior while giving him pleasure seemed to be even more fun for him. Your mobilization, your desire to please him, fear of killing your person and your devotion to him was a satisfying sight.
“Suck it faster and harder, cumslut.” He grunted, resting his cheek on his clenched hand.
The sound of choking echoed through the light-colored walls, and the first tears appeared in your eyes. The head of the dick was banging against the back of your throat, almost tearing it apart, and the other hand was taking care of the balls. You sucked his cock hard and passionately, massaging the skin on his muscular thighs and both testicles at the same time. You could even feel your underwear soaking with your own juices, hungry for touch and some pain.
“How pathetic. Crying in front of another man like a typical whore. Even goddesses of lust aren’t as horny as you.” He chuckled throatily, watching your reaction to his comment. Your cheeks flushed red and your heart sped up. You didn’t say anything but sucked on his cock more and more. “Try harder and maybe one day I’ll ask my little brother to make you a cock-sucking hero.”

Ω PJO DEMIGOD HEADCANONS: 🌊 PONTUS: PERSONIFICATION OF THE SEA 🌊
Author’s note: *put head into hands* Alright, so I may or may not have went off from the usual formula (Do I even have a formula for writing these at this point?) and I think I may have made the primordial demigods here more cryptid cause they’re the literal by-product of primordial beings that are also half-mortal? I won’t be including the usual blurbs at the ending cause all of them are probably pushing the word limit Tumblr has but worry not, I made up for it by putting more storylines into the whole thing. PRIMORDIAL DEMIGODS MASTERLIST: [LINK]
You have the most mundane origin as you emerged out of the sea. Need I say more? When you hear the other children of Primordials of how they were created, yours feels very dumb in retrospect. You’re created from the embodiment of the sea and while you don’t know how you’re half-divine, you certainly look like it with some unnatural characteristics that while in one light, clearly looks like you’re a creature of the sea but if they catch you in the wrong light, they’ll see the hidden and ancient depths of the sea that no one will ever hope to conjure. Seeing as your father is the primordial sea, you have more ancient sea traits than people think. Imagine the great dinosaurs of the sea or deep ancient sea creatures. Yeah. It’s more visible when you come into contact with water, but you can bring your ancient sea form forward on will if you’re on land, but it's just not as instinctive.
You lived by the sea, raised by it, and those who inhabit it. Nereus and his daughters and sons, the Nereids and Nerites, among many others make regular visitors, teaching you things. In fact, you were even visited by Poseidon who felt your existence and although you were a child of a primordial, you were still young compared to Poseidon; so you could only look up at him. Instead of being squashed by him, Poseidon let you live. In fact, he instead told you to walk further down the long line of the sea until you came upon a cabin with the name of hawk. You did as he asked, curious as you adjusted your sea legs to land by walking on the sand. You walked until you reached Montauk and a cabin that Poseidon described. You stared upon it a bit longer wondering why you were here until you saw the doors open and a woman appeared worriedly, reaching you. She wrapped your seaweed covered body with a piece of fabric, and while you relished the fluffy towel upon your skin, you didn’t know what company you had come across.
Nonetheless, that was how Sally, Paul, Estelle, and Percy gathered you around the table, teaching you how to eat modern human food while also gathering your story. Between Nereus and the knowledge of Water, you had a faint idea of who was in front of you but at the same time, you didn’t really clock on the severity of the information; you just absorbed everything like a sponge. You learned alongside Estelle and Percy personally gave you a rundown on what to do and what not to do, and no please don’t flood the toilet.
The next thing you knew, you were in a car, enamoured and playing with Estelle and her toys while Sally was peeling the car down to Camp Halfblood where there was absolute chaos. Funny enough, this was how all of Camp Halfblood and practically all the mythical world learned upon the knowledge of the primordial children that you just regurgitate to them like a water fountain. In fact, you threw everyone more in a loop when you found the remnants of the child of Chaos that everyone ABSOLUTELY DID NOT KNOW THEY HAD PRIOR in the Hermes cabin and turns out is actually missing who just up and left. Everything went over your head as you beamed up at Sally who was putting on the best motherly behaviour and asked if you were going to be okay to be with Estelle, which you were absolutely down for, and you helped Mr. D turn his cup of water into wine…which is another thing you can do for some reason. Not realising the chaos you just unearthed behind you as you played peek-a-boo and bubbles, that you conjured up yourself with Estelle.
A meeting was held; of what and how they were going to deal with this and the other primordial demigods… before you added in that the Gaea and Chaos demigods have each been gathering forces of the other primordial children…which led the others to realising you were the next one on the list. So cue the immediate warzone, notifying the Roman camp, and with the other primordial children were at their doorsteps, bringing the fight to them.
As you can imagine you have the ability to manipulate water. Just imagine what a child of Poseidon can do, but on a more innate level; so if a child of Poseidon is in the element of the sea, you are part of the sea. You are also able to turn your body into water, specifically sea water, your form malleable as big as you want or just long enough when a blade slices through you without damage. You can produce water more easily then a child of Poseidon, and your water is a reflection of you. So if you’re angry/hot headed, the water is going to be hot, and if you’re cool and level headed, it’s going to be well…cool.  On consequence, you also have a salty temperament, so you hold a grudge. When you develop your emotions better, you’re less salty more ways than one.
Your key feature is that while you may look human enough, there’s something about you that invokes a sense of danger like when you stare down into a deep pool water, the depths unseen to you. You can also change your form into some sort of ancient human-oid sea creature, with scales for skin, sharp teeth like a shark, and webbed, clawed fingers. However, careful in bearing this form because if you’re on dry land it might be uncomfortable like wearing a wet, skin suit under baking sun. You also might slip into a certain mindset that might not be able to tell friend from foe.

Hi, I've finished the Illiad and Odyssey not so long ago, and I'm a little bit confused.
In those texts, characters or narrator sometimes refer to Zeus as "the oldest of gods." I've read these on my native language, so I decided there was some translation problem, but then I've came across couple of English posts also talking about Zeus as the oldest and yes, I understand that posts people write aren't the best source of information but along with what I've read in the poems it made me doubting.
So, are there some versions of the myths where Zeus is the oldest? Or is it simply a translation or interpretation problem, like "the oldest" in the meaning "the strongest/wisest/greatest/etc"?
I will be very thankful for the explanation because somehow, this made me so confused.
No problem! Although Zeus is almost always presented as the youngest son from Hesiod onwards, he is in fact described as the oldest in the Iliad. For example, when he sends Iris with a message to Poseidon:
"I came here bearing a message for you, dark-haired holder of the earth, from Zeus who wields the aegis. He commands you to desist from war and battle and to go among the tribe of gods, or into the bright salt sea. And if you do not obey his words, but ignore them, he threatens that he too will come here to do battle, face-to-face; and he bids you avoid his hands, since he says he is more powerful by far than you in strength and in birth is elder." (Il. 15. 174-182)
One could suspect Zeus is bending the truth or being metaphorical in claiming primogeniture (considering the other more popular tradition) but the Iliad states it as a literal fact, as evidenced by Iris' response to Poseidon when he says that Zeus can snorkel his dongle:
"Is it in this way then, dark-haired holder of the earth, I should bear this harsh and powerful word to Zeus, or will you change your mind at all? The minds of the great are yielding. And you know the Furies always attend the elder born." (Il. 15. 201-204)
Meaning if conflict were to arise the Furies would side with Zeus because he the is older sibling. Hera is likewise here the eldest of the goddesses, and there's no reason to suppose it's not meant literally.
Curiously, quite the opposite interaction occurs in the Odyssey. If in the Iliad Poseidon has to give way to Zeus' bullying because Zeus is the eldest, in the Odyssey it is Zeus who, though still supreme king, gives way to Poseidon because here Poseidon is the eldest:
"Then in turn Zeus who gathers the clouds made answer: ‘What a thing to have said, Earthshaker of the wide strength. The gods do not hold you in dishonor. It would be a hard thing if we were to put any slight on the eldest and best among us. But if there is any man who, giving way to the violence and force in him, slights you, it will be yours to punish him. Now and always. Do as you will and as it pleases you.’" (Od. 13. 139-145)
Ancient authors were not unaware of the contradiction, and there seem to have been attempts to reconcile both traditions, like in the Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite, where it's said of Hestia:
"She was the first-born child of wily Kronos and youngest too, by the will of Zeus who holds the aegis." (Hom. Hymn. 5. 22-23)
No further explanation is given, but it's widely assumed that this is a reference to Kronos disgorging his children in the reverse order in which he swallowed them, ie. rock first and Hestia last (Hes. Th. 500 and Apollod. 1.2.1). The imagery of Kronos "rebirthing" his kids from his throat is... explicitly, used by Nonnos in the Dionysiaca when describing the scene:
"How he [Kronos] opened a gaping throat to receive a stony son, when he made a meal of the counterfeit body of a pretended Zeus; how the stone played midwife to the brood of imprisoned children, and shot out the burden of the parturient gullet" (Book 12. 43)
[Describing a shield that depicts Kronos swallowing the stone] "There he was again in heavy labour, with the stone inside him, bringing up all those children squeezed together and disgorging the burden from his pregnant throat." (Book 25. 553)
"And these dwelt in the city of Beroe, that primordial seat which Kronos himself built, at that time when, invited by clever Rhea, he set that jagged supper before his voracious throat, and having the heavy weight of that stone within him to play the deliverer's part, he shot out the whole generation of his tormented children. Gaping wide, he sucked up the storming flood of a whole river, and swallowed it in his bubbling chest to ease his pangs, then threw of the burden of his belly; so one after another his pregnant throat pushed up and disgorged his twiceborn sons through the delivering channel of his gullet." (Book 41. 65)
Hope I could be of help! And that Nonnos hasn't traumatised anyone too much.

See I KNEW Lin Manuel Miranda was awesome as Hermes! He IS Hermes! Hermes IS him! I could go on but really, I’m just so happy we got to see him! I’ve been waiting for that since the casting was announced!
On to the episode now…
Loved Grover! He figured out about as much about the lightning thief as I expected. He’s so smart! Little Grover, he’s so precious! We must protect him at all cost! Also he got to gush about the animals, gods Grover is so adorable! And the there was the blessing of the wild, they’ll be fine. What about the humans? Well, the animals will be fine!
Kinda disappointed that we didn’t see Percy talk to a zebra. I didn’t even see a zebra, which was… come on! The episode is called “We take a zebra to Las Vegas” and there isn’t even a zebra? I was looking forward to see Percy realize he can talk to equines…😫
The Lotus Casino was well executed. Lotus flowers are pumped into the air. That’s not explicitly stated in the books but it could very well be the case in the books as well. And we also got the myth linked to the place. That was never clear in the books, we just got that it was a place where time moves differently. And how Grover forgot more than Percy and Annabeth because it’s easy to forget what’s important when you’re alone. That’s just *chef’s kiss*.
I loved Hermes as well. Like, I get the feeling he actually wants to help but he’s afraid it would make things worse. He also really highlights that even if the gods want to be with their kids, their mere presence could lead to ugly consequences. Also, I wasn’t surprised at all when it turned out Hermes knew they took his keys. Like for real, Annabeth? Did you honestly think you had any chance of pickpocket the God of Pickpocketing? That’s your fatal flaw talking. Hermes wanted them to take the keys. That’s quite a huge deal with Hermes, isn’t it? He is the god of travelers, thieves and anyone who uses the road. To quote a line of Luke’s in the books; “Hermes isn’t picky about who he sponsors.” (The Lightning Thief, ch. 7, My dinner goes up in smoke, page 52) He helps people. But since he isn’t supposed to help them, he has to do it under the table, aka slipping them his keys like: “Ops!? You stole my keys? Oh, well, nothing I can do to stop you then…” *shrug*
Also kinda sweet that he tried to reassure Percy that even though his father can’t really be there he still loves and cares for him. They’re all just doing the best they can…
And Santa Monica, I can’t even imagine how Percy must’ve felt in that moment when the nerid told him that his father had left because they ran out of time. He must’ve felt like he let his dad down this time, after Poseidon saved his life. That poor baby! I just want to give him a hug😭 Of course he can’t go back to camp now. He has to set things right!
And this time around he has four pearls? That will be interesting to see next week…

A Demigod of my own.. Ch. 1 my little seashell.
This is a fanfic about Triton from Percy Jackson series and his point of view along with an couple of ocs of mine to make the story interesting. (With a couple of my hcs enjoy!)
The prince Triton, the son of poiseden.. That was his only identity so far.. expect for that dumb Disney movie the little mermaid (he swears that movie portrayed him way too old). Triton had been feeling more insecure than ever, a thought he had heard a couple of fish gossiping about earlier 'Prince Triton takes so much pride in being poiseden's heir he's immortal it's not like he gonna die anytime soon.' and then another fish said 'you know a couple years back I heard poiseden telling that Demigod boy of his that he was his favourite son.' Triton had left not wanting to hear more (he silently destroyed those fish later on due to anger) but the thought had remained with him since had that stupid Jackson boy accepted immortality instead of telling the gods to be better parents his father would have replaced him in a heartbeat for Percy, the thought still silently terrified him though he knew that confronting poiseden and demanding to ask why a puny Demigod was his favourite; he knew that he would only be asked a thousand questions and probably punishment 'How do you know I said that? ' 'He saved olympus twice what have you ever done to become my heir besides being my oldest son?' 'He beat Ares in a fight when he was 12 tell me do you have the guts to fight Ares?' and so on Triton had silently been growing more resentful of Percy and more depressed worrying about how much importance did he really have and that his father probably couldn't care less about him in general, he'd been growing more paranoid as well. However, some help and comfort he had received due to a certain friend. A couple years back he had been answering calls on Poseidon's behalf because poiseden had some 'matters' to attend to (probably chasing a poor Ocean nymph) when a certain call by a minor god only a few years younger than him intrigued him a son of Hades called Zagreus, the younger god had been rather friendly with him and told him that they should meet sometime when he comes to the surface, Triton had agreed on the condition that they would not be up there for more than 7 hours since his mother would question him if he were and those questions would annoy him, Zagreus had told him to meet at a beach near one of the exits out of Hades's realm. They had infact met there and Zagreus said ' Dude, try assuming human form so can roam on land and we can a proper conversation ' ' what's wrong with me being in the water?' Triton had asked. 'Well I don't like sitting on sand for too long and also your face looks like a monster-like green.' 'Thank you for your honesty Mr underworld prince but I don't know how to walk on legs. ' 'come on just try it I'll teach you ' 'fine.' so he had transformed, his skin colour was a perfect tan, his Curly Black hair still tied in a high ponytail, he had some black leggings and blue sweater on and of course he stumbled a couple times but Zagreus had taught him how to walk properly soon Triton could run, for a while it has become a weekly thing Zagreus would ires-message him to meet up, Triton would make his father was too busy to notice that Triton had stepped out of his realm and then he would talk with Zagreus for hours, despite being two princes/heirs of two different realms they had a lot in common their fathers being rather neglectful and distant, them having better relationships with their mother figures, them feeling rather questionable due to their fathers having obvious Demigod favourite ism (Though a difference being that Zagreus actually liked his Demigod brother a lot), there had been a couple of times where they couldn't meet due to the war with gaea and Kronos and during approximately 2 or 3 years before Percy's intial claiming, Triton had met a certain woman a lifeguard who worked part time at wallmart, Sofia malician. A beautiful red headed woman with olive skin colour and kind sky-blue eyes. He had met her when zag had ires-messaged him and he was waiting for him. He had saw her sitting and ended up staring at her, Sofia caught him once he turned his face away, twice he turned his face away again.
