Rutherford Chang was an artist, collector, and the third-ranked Game Boy Tetris player in the world.

Mr Chang works with well-known pieces of culture, devising systems to collect, edit, or otherwise recontextualize them to reveal underlying meaning.

He was an interested in obsessive subcultures, including record collectors and metal hoarders, often adopting their practices and taking them to absurd extremes.

Mr Chang was based in New York City and has spent time living in Shanghai and Beijing as well. He was interested in buying your first-pressing copy of the Beatles’ White Album.

Since I drew Hebe in overalls, time for Cent to get a croptop and shorts!

I love drawing these two, they're so cute, it was fun figuring out how they would keep their own style while still matching the other's.

Fun fact, Cent's hoodie and croptop aren't actually yellow. The colors are some desaturated light pinks, but they look yellow because of all the colors around it! And these are still redder than the original one from his reference, that one is pretty much purple, i had to change it a bit to read more yellow . Color relativity is so fun.
