Pinhead dating headcanons?

I've had this request in my inbox for a long ass time. This is my first time writing for Pinhead so hopefully it's good. Enjoy!

Pinhead

Pinhead isn’t the kind of lover who showers you with affection, but his presence is constant. He listens when you speak, watches you with an intensity that makes you feel like the only person in the universe, and always ensures your needs, both physical and emotional, are met. 

While he isn’t overly expressive, Pinhead has a way of making you feel safe, even in the midst of his terrifying world. He places himself between you and anything that dares to threaten you. Not out of jealousy, but because you are his to protect. 

Despite his job to cause suffering, Pinhead never forces anything upon you. He understands that you are human. That means you are fragile in ways he is not and he adapts to that. If you need time to process things, he gives it to you. If you are scared, he does not mock you. Instead, he guides you through it with a firm but reassuring hand. 

While he doesn’t cuddle, he enjoys your presence. If you sit beside him in a quiet room, he’ll let you lean against him. Sometimes, he’ll place a hand on your shoulder. It’s a jester to let you know that he is always there for you. 

If you ever cry, he doesn’t dismiss your emotions. Instead he stands by your side, his voice low and soothing. “Your pain is not a weakness, my dear. It is proof that you have lived.” He wipes your tears away with a touch that is unexpectedly gentle. 

Overtime, Pinhead becomes more intrigued by human comfort. He doesn’t understand why you like warm blankets or soft music, but he indulges you. If you fall asleep near him, he won’t wake you. He’ll watch over you, but he is curious to know why you trust him enough to be vulnerable. 

While he rarely says “I love you,” you can feel it in the way he watches you and the way he subtly adjusts his demeanor around you. When he calls you “My Beloved,” or “My exquisite one,” there is undeniable tenderness beneath his words. 

If you ever run your fingers over the lines of his face, tracing the intricate pins with care, he closes his eyes. He’s allowing the rare intimacy and you are the only one who can ever touch him so freely.  

Pinhead is not a fleeting lover. Once you have his heart (or what remains of it at least), he is yours forever. There is no fear of abandonment, no risk of being forgotten. He will always come when you call. He always ensures that you are safe. And in his own strange way, he will love you more deeply than any mortal ever could.

I just want to clarify: Pinhead leaving Dead by Daylight is down to shitty greedy license holders, not BHVR. BHVR took an incredibly shitty deal in order to get Pinhead into the game at all, and there were struggles the whole way. The whole plan was rushed because the license for Hellraiser was expiring to begin with, so BHVR did what they could to get the license before the rights reverted to the original owner. They paid a lot of money, and forced themselves into shit they didnt want to do, namely, the owners of Hellraiser at the time wanted to milk it with NFTs and only allowed BHVR to use Pinhead if they could use anything BHVR made with Pinhead to make NFTs. They were basically forced into it, and fun fact: the pushback for those NFTs were so bad by the community, planned additional skins for the Cenobite were canned, and the game was almost delisted from steam.

BHVR risked their reputation and entire game just to get Hellraiser in any form they could. It sucks that shitty license holders are making things worse for everyone.
