you said that as a shipper, you don't care if galadriel and sauron have romantic moments, can you elaborate?
sure. what i mean is "traditionally" romantic, their dynamic can be essentially romantic/soulmatistic without a traditional romance formula.
i love haladriel for their push and pull dynamic bc as a metaphor it explores the dark vs. the light, and subtextually it is about destined enemies x doomed lovers.
i don't mind galadriel not ever giving in and succumbing to sauron bc for me, the most important thing is her inner conflict, and subtextually, galadriel being tempted by having power in the middle-earth and being pulled under by the darkness will always be interconnected with her being tempted by sauron's proposal and imply her heart desiring the taboo (in trop continuity). u would just have to read between the lines.
i don't care that she outwardly rejects sauron even after seeing him as halbrand in the finale, bc the scene confirms that she has feelings for the latter. her willpower and pride are simply strong. and i like these traits of hers, i don't want them subdued, i don't want her to ever submit.
as for sauron, his love may not be explicitly stated either, but rather communicated through his delusional and obsessive yearning. every time he mentions "light" it will signify galadriel in some sense, nenya will still symbolize galadriel for him. and if the one ring is inspired by gal, well, that will be insane.
i personally love their sexually-charged push and pull dynamic of the cosmic scales. they can be lovey-dovey in valinor in the 7th age (in our fanon), but now i want galadriel's devotion to opposing/slaying sauron to be so strong it crosses the line of a simple hate and becomes an intrinsic part of her identity. i want sauron's worship of her light to turn into him obsessively coveting her, desiring to posses her like silmarils.
their battle in the finale is brutal, but it's as if they're dancing at the same time, it's a form of storytelling. him stabbing her is a symbolically sexual, ravishing act that can be read as a metaphor for gazing into an abyss for so long, the abyss gazes back into you! there is a thin line between hate and love, as those can be two sides of the same coin, and when u let one in, the other may follow as well.
galadriel's outward relationship with sauron and her inward relationship with halbrand is how her relationship with the darkness, power and ambition is explored through a more tangible narrative.
like, the story itself shows and tells you, and everyone working on the show say that sauron and galadriel are intertwined in a way that places their connection above every other relationship they have, and ultimately, that's what makes for a good ship.
my only concern moving forward is that their interactions won't be central. this is why im holding onto the hope for the mind-palace communications. but there are many other ways to either make them interact or show that they are thinking about one another.
i still am delusional and wish for a kiss tho. it can be done without gal "joining" sauron if the writers want it done. and i guess i have to bring this topic up as well, since anons have asked me this a few times before but i once gave my "unpopular" opinion about it at length and prefer to leave it at that. but in short, i don't really care if celebrian is sauron's daughter or not. would be great if they leave some space for allowing "sauron is the father" interpretation, and i would be equally ok with them making it clear that she is celeborn's daughter. i prefer her to not be introduced at all in trop, tbh. what i love about sauron and galadriel's relationship is that cosmic connection between them, not who may or may not be related to them as a third party.

Word of warning we just got a ton of possible leaks about season 2 of "Rings of Power" coming from The One Ring Net source. However, I will point out while a few of these seem possible this reminds me a lot of other "leaked" things for my other fandoms, especially DC and Marvel movies/shows, and most of those turned out to be false and fans just posting things for their own enjoyment. However, this is how it first leaked that Halbrand was Sauron before season 1 aired. Some of these do match scoops/spoilers we've gotten from Fellowship of Fans an interviews with the cast, but some of these are so out of left field. I'll post a breakdown under a cut of the major ones but you can see the post in full here. But I will point out some of these would be massive changes to the lore that even I'd be shocked if they do it, so again we'll see.
So the first thing that matches what FOF and even Charlie Vickers teased is that season 2 is going to show a lot of Sauron flashbacks and tell his side of the story and that we'll be in on his plans the whole time. But according to this post the Mairon version is a separate actor and that Gavi is actually the Annatar version but Halbrand/Charlie is still the main one going forward.
They're saying the Tolkien estate gave Amazon more access to "The Silmarillion" and we will see all the Valar, Maiar, Eru (he's just a voice though so we won't see a person), Melkor/Morgoth, Mairon (even called this name), Gandalf/Mithrander (who is Daniel's The Stranger), and even Ungoliant as we get this full backstory in the show.
Halbrand will go back to the dwarves and reveal he's Mairon to them and they truth him because of Aule.
It'll be revealed that Sauron/Mairon had a son and Adar killed him, which was why the line Adar said about "a woman or a child" was said in s1. No idea who the boy's mother is but possibly Amelia Kenworthy's character. This is a huge departure but would be interesting to have Sauron/Mairon/Halbrand actually have been a father and the 2nd Maiar besides Melian to have children.
Gandalf/Mithrander will also have flashbacks, including that he almost sided with Mairon, and even introduce Shadowfax.
Tom Bombadil and Goldberry will appear, which we already saw a leak about this possibly happening last year.
Supposedly Halbrand/Sauron does keep up his infatuation with Galadriel but actually goes back to Eregion not as just Annatar but as Celeborn!!! 😮 So they don't rescue Celeborn after all but it is Sauron/Halbrand and it's making it sound like there's romantic scenes between them but again it's actually Sauron/Halbrand with Galadriel and not Celeborn. I know some of us Haladriel shippers have written this exact thing in our fics and if this really does happen that again hints that Sauron/Halbrand really could be Celebrian's biological father which I would be shocked if the show did this even though I'd also love it. LOL Then add in if they do this change where Sauron had a son that died and possibly ends up having a daughter with Galadriel. It does sound like the real Celeborn does come back too at some point so if this happens this is going to be interesting, even though I know a lot of the purists and regular LOTR fans might hate it.
The season does end with Sauron forging the One Ring, which FOF has also been speculating. The thing is if Galadriel will be with him when he does as FOF reported on her being captured by Adar during the Battle of Eregion with this also confirms happens in the last 2 episodes.
They're also saying too that the season will also end with Galadriel making a choice to save either real Celeborn and/or Sauron/Halbrand as Celeborn, which again could point to above that she gets captured and then decides to stay with him. So this is going to be very interesting if any of these turn out to be true.

What do you think about theory that Mirandia is Celebrian in disguise? Especially after 2x05 when Annatar said that she looks like Gal. I hope this doesn't happen.
IMO, No. Textwise, it doesn’t really make sense. She would have met TROP Elrond already in Eregion and it probably would have been brought up between Galadriel and Elrond by now. Especially since text Elrond fell in love with her at first sight. And in the text, they don’t meet in Eregion, anyways. They meet later in Rivendell which doesn’t exist yet in this timeline. Furthermore, text Celebrian and Gal had a pretty good relationship. So for TROP Gal to actually consider sailing to Aman without any reference to a daughter she presumably loved, would be strange. Miv had said in interviews that Gal is struggling to find a reason to fall in love with Middle Earth again. Why would that be hard if her daughter resided there?
Mirandia’s character seems to me, if she would be any text character, more like a prototype of Thuringwethil. She’s a First Age character, but she seems so easily corruptible and a little unhinged.
But what I think she is actually supposed to be, is a surrogate character for Galadriel. I think she’s meant to show that elves find Halbrand/Annatar physically attractive and sexually appealing. Right off the bat, FIRST thing about Mirandia that the audience sees is that she desires Halbrand. She practically 🤤 at the sight of his dirty, hairy body. And she is consistently like that. She literally can’t stop touching him. That’s lust.
One of the biggest debates about TROP is whether or not Gal would fuck Hal since she’s married. The reasoning being that sex for elves was interpreted to be a sacred thing in the text and monogamy being assumed since Tolkien was Catholic. Here, the writers are establishing that that may not be an absolute rule. Firstly, if elves can feel lust then, logically, that sexual attraction can be acted on separately and not contingent upon love. Additionally, it’s showing that Sauron is not above using physical seduction as a means to persuade or manipulate someone.
So I don’t think at this point that Mirandia is meant to be a major canon character other than setting context for sex and Maia-elf attraction.

Had a rings of power dream last night 😳
Anyway, in it, Galadriel was pregnant when Celeborn went off to war (hence why she did not join him and was left behind). A few decades after she gave birth, she decided to take Celebrian (who was the equivalent of like... maybe a 2 or 3 year old?) to go visit the last place that Celeborn was known to be before he was 'killed'. Before they get there, they are attacked, and Celebrian and Galadriel are separated, and Galadriel thinks that Celebrian died, adding to her grief. Turns out Celebrian was captured by Halbrand/Sauron, who decided to raise her as a prodigy/daughter-figure. Anyway... Celebrian is Too Good to be a proper villain, however, and has a habit of running away. During one of these escapades she runs into Elrond and co, and pretends she is escaping the bad guys... I don't remember much after that, except that everyone is S h o o k when they find out she's The Dark Princess, daughter of Sauron 😳🤔😔
Anyway, it's JUST hokey enough to be plausible for RoP 😅 but it was kinda a fun dream regardless

Rewatching rings of power, and i can't believe the showrunners completely missed the opportunity of making Galadriel's revenge quest include her pressuemed dead husband and daughter.
Like yes Finrod did actually die at Saurons hands during Beren's quest, but the setup for Celebrian x Elrond and Halbrand/Sauron getting friendzoned because she still hasn't lost hope that Celeborn and Celebrian are still alive(they are) because no matter what everyone tells her, she knows it in her feä/soul they are still alive somewhere

There’s a laugh of recognition in Galadriel’s voice. “That bad already, huh?”
“Every single fucking thing I say is wrong,” he murmurs into the phone. A glance back inside reveals that his daughter isn’t paying the least bit of attention.
“Oh good,” Galadriel says cheerfully. “So it’s not just me.”
A dry laugh escapes. “Unfortunately not.”
“Don’t take it to heart, Hal,” she says in a reassuring tone. “Celebrian’s holding onto a lot of anger right now, and she doesn’t know how to work through it.”
He furrows his brow, leaning on the railing. “She’s just a kid. What could she possibly have to be angry about?”
---
“I don’t see the point of placing all the blame on someone who isn’t fucking here to defend himself.”
or: while recovering from a horrific attack, Celebrian recalls the last summer she spent with her father.

In response to @plotdesigner writing some more Adar In Gold Cages (absolutely incredible no notes I read it and my brain was just going MY HEART OH MY GOSH MY HEART) have some content inspired by that.
Content Note: CPTSD, dissociation, rape aftermath, a particular kind of abuse that the author (me) has personal experiences of and is attempting to find words for.
did you have someone to do this for you - celebrimbor does not ask it for it does not seem fair to pry into such pain - not when Celebrimbor knows his own hurts are far far less than Adars. And far more his own doing. Perhaps all my own doing, Celebrimbor thinks in his bleaker moments - and this is merely the chains I deserve.
And he is not…Sauron does not hurt him, not really. The bruises and marks on his skin, they are gentle, not meant to hurt - he is kept so very well, such a precious treasure Sauron says, my jewel I will not have you in lesser dwellings.
He should be grateful Celebrimbor knows, when he thinks he might welcome the pain again, against this deeper pain every time
Sauron whispers love against his skin, every moment that he must have him inside his body is an ache that should not be. It is a stain upon him, Celebrimbor knows that and he should bear it better than he does - for afterwards he will vomit - shaking in the room in his chambers set aside for bathing - pale and sick - almost a phantom here, he thinks - perhaps I will fade away but he knows he cannot. He must not. He has done enough harm.
And then, then one morning when Sauron cradles him in the bed that is not where Celebrimbor slumbers when he is alone, one morning Sauron looks down upon him and asks him to craft - to make jewels for the other three and he freezes.
Please. Please he wants to beg. I cannot, I cannot, do what you wish to me but I cannot forge, not for you and perhaps not for anyone again for you have reached inside my body, my craft and my very being and none of it is mine.
But it will not be him who bears the cost. All he can do is…Eru help him, perhaps they might find their escape in this but he does not think he can.
“Have you hurt yourself so that you cannot, my jewel? I will make an eternity of torment for what they have done to you - oh my dearest, do not worry. There will be need for haste.”
A kiss to his shoulder, a cradling of his hand and Celebrimbor knows he must not look ill. He must be good, be sweet. A part of him is almost away entirely - perhaps half in the forge of his childhood, his grandparents proud faces, the love before it all went wrong.
“I will…it is only, it is my failing alone, that I cannot.”
No my jewel, there is naught for you to be sorry for - after all I have plenty of adornments to give all of you. I will wait until you are ready.
-
She knows Celeborn cares for Adar in ways that she could never do - it is too much for each of them - both trying to build understanding across blood and grief and anger.
Betimes Galadriel thinks of who she had been, before. Before. It sickens her that it is here that she has found more of the self she thought had been vanished with Finrod - but then Celeborn is here. And Celebrian lives. She lives in safety though they do not speak of her to anyone, least Sauron learn of her. She will not have it - he has taken so much from her, of her and not their daughter so newly found - living and safe.
It is the greatest pain of her life almost that so many of those who are her heart are here when this, this is her doing. Her pain had led them here, though that thought is an indulgence of self reproach she tries not to allow herself.
And Sauron who is never Halbrand even as he might wear Halbrands form when he comes to her, Sauron catches her in his arms, spins her around to him - is sweet and worshipful and she wants to rend him to pieces.
In this Adar never looks at her with anything but understanding.
Finrod. She wants her brother sharply and thinks, why, why must you have gone out of kindness, out of your love and duty and brightness. Why could you not stay, could not be less than you are so you would not die in horror. So I would not know that he wants you too.
Because he never knew he had you until you had gone and he does not know of you and Beren and Luthien (sometimes Galadriel thinks she might be angry at Beren for the way he had captured Finrods heart (not Luthien who had done the same, but Beren had taken him to his death).
But she is glad he had Adar at the end.
-
Elrond sings and it is beautiful for his kindness and gentleness - he is a warrior but he is not - was not fashioned for it and it is a foolish thing, that this one who can wield the tools of war and yet it is not him.
He heals only that which the others wish healed or eased. And he is so young, painfully young still. Mairon does not care - for he is possessive of all of them but Elrond, Elrond he seems terrified he might simply fly from his grasp so he keeps Elrond firmly in his cage.
It is killing him.

I keep going back to the two little elf girls in Annatar-Sauron's vision and how they looked like Haladriel's future daughters. The blonde looked like how we imagine Celebrian would look like as a child. The (younger?) redhead elfing had hair similar to what Halbrand's auburn hair looked like in the Post-Reveal Raft Scene and the ginger hair of Sauron before Adar killed him. They were also both wearing dresses in different shades of green. I think Sauron strongly associates that color with Galadriel. She wore an emerald/teal dress the last time he saw her; Mirdania always wears green and he sees her as discount version of the woman he truly wants; Also, in Medieval History, we know that brides usually wore green wedding dresses because the color represented fertility.
I think it's interesting that Sauron specifically wants daughters with Gal. He doesn't dream of having sons like many men do. Instead, he wants two beautiful and spirited little girls that will probably be much Little Galadriel was as a child. I also wonder if have two Half-Maiar daughters wouldn't be a dig at Melian? We tend to see them as being brother and sister with a big rivalry. I can just see Sauron feeling immense pride over the fact he had not one, but TWO, lovely and powerful Half-Maiar daughters, and she only had Luthien.
I really loved all of that too and those girls do looks like they could be their daughters!!! 😀 Love the green dresses repeating too not just for what you said, but also since Arwen's wedding dress was green in the movies and that's my favorite color too. And I thought about him wanting daughters and again at that rivalry he seems to have with Melian, which fits that theory about them being siblings (and that old song "Anything you can do I can do better" LOL), and having 2 half-Maiar children would one up her having one. LOL It just seems to fit with him being like that, and also both of the siblings falling for elves.

Fans noticed that etched into the cliff ruins where Haladriel fought was a design that resembled Arwen's Evenstar necklace from the LOTR movies. Obviously, this is another Aragorn/Arwen and Sauron/Galadriel parallel: Arwen gave her namesake necklace to Aragorn as a pledge to bind herself to him in love and mortality. Gal also told Halbrand to "bind" himself to her in S1, and in S2, he used Morgoth's crown to symbolically marrying/bind them tighter together. I also think the inclusion of the Evenstar design fits into the Half-Maia Celebrian Theory. I have never heard any canon lore about how Arwen got her famous necklace or why it was considered so special among the elves? Who forged it and why? Well, what about if was Sauron that was it's creator, and it was originally a present for his secret daughter, Celebrian? The silver design and white gemstone is similar to Nenya and would fit Celebrian's status as the "Silver Queen." I also think it passed from mother to daughter prior to Celebrian leaving ME. Arwen always wore it in remembrance of her mother, but chose to give it to the mortal king she loved. I just think it fits, especially since Arwen has some resemblance to Sauron's 2nd Age forms, and seemed to be able to control dreams and illusions like him.
I did see a post a couple weeks ago showing what looks like the Evenstar image on that rock. 😀 That is really cool if it is supposed to be that and a shoutout to Arwen, Aragorn, and the movies even though the show and the movies aren't connected (and now owned by rival production studios). From what I've seen too the Evenstar necklace was fully created for the movies and it takes the place of the Elfstone, which was a green broach and Galadriel's originally after she got it (some versions it was made in Gondolin in the 1st Age) from Gandalf who somehow got ahold of it, and she gave it to Celebrian, who then gave it to Arwen and she gives it Aragorn. Some fans think the movies changed it to Evenstar to tie it to Elrond's family and what happened to his parents and the Gondolin connection. There's also a star like white gem necklace Arwen wears in the books that she gives to Frodo too. So that's at least 2 pieces of jewelry Arwen has that can fully go along with your theory, one green and one white which seems to be the colors Galadriel wears most on the show and the books/movies.

I wanted to make another post about some of the possible massive season 2 leaks for "Rings of Power" as I've gotten so many more thoughts about it and need to get them out. 😀 Also I'm hoping this does happen now as my mind has been thinking on this and how much it makes sense to me that I'm going to be sad if it doesn't. LOL
So if anyone didn't see The One Ring Net posted a tons of leaks last week and I've posted another post all about that. But the ones that got to me obviously was the reveal that they're going to give Sauron/Halbrand a son that Adar killed. This was before s1 happened and the form Adar knew (played by Gavi). This would add so much complexity to Sauron/Halbrand/Mairon as him having a child is huge and showing he actually is capable of love despite being a villain. Some of my favorite villains in other shows/movies/books do have families and sometimes the only people they love are their children and partner, so adding this to Sauron would just be a plus for me. It also would prove that he does have feelings for Galadriel and is capable of loving her. We all know he was good in the beginning and like Melian is a Maiar so it's totally possible for him to become a father and fall in love with an elf.
Then it makes me wonder who is playing this boy. Is it someone already announced or is it just someone in one episodes explaining this backstory? Then what is his name and like another fan pointed out could Sauron choosing the name Halbrand actually be honoring his son if the name is similar? Also if he's part Maiar does that mean after Adar killed him the son went to Valinor? That would also explain why Sauron/Halbrand was thinking of just living on his own and even contemplated trying to get redemption as maybe he thought he'd be able to reunite with his son at some point.
Then this all brings me again to Celebrian and if it's possible the show really could make her be Sauron's daughter. Weirdly enough one of the leaks said that Sauron/Halbrand is actually pretending to be Celeborn and that's who really reunites with Galadriel. So we have that possibility and that Galadriel gets pregnant that way, but personally I would prefer if it happens after she finds out it's Sauron/Halbrand and we do have another leak that she gets captured by Adar and then have to make a choice in the season finale and possibly decides to stay with Sauron/Halbrand setting up season 3.
All along I figured Celebrian will be born in season 3 so they could even make it to where Galadriel and Sauron/Halbrand did decide to try to make it work as a couple and she changes her mind to be his queen. We know season 4 supposedly is Sauron/Halbrand going back to Numenor from Charlie's interviews, so I've been wondering what the s3 story for them is and it could be this. Once Galadriel finds out he had a son that died it actually would bond them more as then that connection between them in s1 was real and they both experienced such deep loss of family. Then if she has Celebrian but in the end they're doomed anyway and she eventually leaves him and takes their daughter to Lothlorien.
This would also explain why Sauron never attacked Lothlorien or Rivendell and why Dul Guldur was right next door if his ex-wife and daughter are living there. The real Celeborn would likely be back by this point and Galadriel restarts her marriage with him and he helps raise Celebrian as her step-father similar to some of our fics, including my own "Building a Mystery". Plus there was a version of Galadriel escaping thanks to the dwarves with little Celebrian but she also had a son named Amroth that Tolkien later decided to delete. Now makes me wonder if this is where the writers got the idea to give Sauron a son too.
Then it makes me think too when Celelbrian goes to Valinor if she turns out to be Sauron/Halbrand's daughter that she actually reunites and meets her older brother that's been in Valinor since Adar killed him. That way too besides Galadriel's other family and Melian and Yavanna/Aule, Celebrian would have family there. And then when Galadriel finally goes back to Valinor at the end of LOTR she also meets Sauron/Halbrand's son and promises Sauron/Halbrand that she'll be with their children even though he can't be with them.
It just weirdly works for me and makes sense in a way I never expected. I know a lot of the purists/die-hard LOTR probably would hate these changes but I think it just adds to it and that's not just me being a Haladriel shipper. I now see their relationship as a tragic romance and it just fits with that. But also I'm really forgiving in a lot of my other fandoms for huge changes like this if it makes sense. It just a lot of the LOTR aren't since there hasn't been that many adaptations like those of public domain things like Jane Austen's books and all the "Sherlock Holmes" stories to name two. So we'll see what happens but I'm all for this.

Honestly Freya Allan in her role as Ciri is the perfect fancast to play Sauron / Halbrand & Galadriel's daughter ; Celebrian. Or for Daemon & Rhaenyra's daughter ; Visenya.

OMG, I'm freaking out about the latest scoop from Fellowship of Fans as this is a huge spoiler and possibly a huge Haladriel one!!! :D Also they announced the character Selina Lo is playing too which I'll post first behind a cut as it's going to get long me talking about the big spoiler as I'm so excited!!! LOL
So first off Selina is playing an elf. Her scenes are mostly in Eregion and she filmed a lot with Benjamin (Gil Galad), Robert (Elrond), and Celebrimbor (Charles). There was a scoop last year that Celebrimbor was getting a female elf assistant at the forge and seems likely Selina's character is the same.
Now for the big spoiler.

I was not expecting this but apparently Adar is going to kidnap Galadriel!!! :o My first thought was this has to be him getting back at Sauron, who I'm guessing by this point he knows is Halbrand, and going back to him noticing the connection Halbrand/Sauron and Galadriel have. This would anger Halbrand/Sauron so much and have the two factions at war with each other, and possibly show whatever he still feels for Galadriel is there as I can't help but think he'll try to rescue her. So Galadriel is likely going to have to choose to either work with him or Adar to get out of this.
Morfydd did already hint in recent interviews that she and Charlie do have scenes again, and most of us were thinking it was dream sequence type (which I think still likely is too) but this would for sure have them seeing each other in person again. Also a lot are speculating too that this leads up to Halbrand/Sauron killing Adar, which I agree with most Adar likely won't be in this show much longer after season 2. Though do wish Joseph stayed, but still looking forward to Sam's version.
Then of course some think this means Celeborn is also being held prisoner by Adar, but I really wish they didn't do this and get their hopes up as there's been no spoilers at all indicating he's even been cast. I know a lot think Calam Lynch is playing him, but his filming dates last fall and recently actually match up with the Numenor scenes that FOF confirmed were filming at those times. So again I don't think Celeborn has been cast yet and I doubt Adar is the one that had him prisoner (if that's where he is).
But I do agree it's interesting having Galadriel also get captured by orcs and dark elves, when her daughter Celebrian sadly did too in the Third Age.

Finished "The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart" and so happy with how this adaption came out!!! :D The cast were all amazing and the ending was so good too. I did miss one thing about it knowing how the book ended, but everything else was there and I actually cried during a few scenes. More spoilers will be behind a cut but also I loved that scene of the book June made and gave to Alice and it had baby/childhood pictures and everyone's story, including an actual baby photo of Charlie Vickers!!! :D Was surprised to see that and I shouldn't be surprised he was an adorable baby, so that was nice to see him and the cast actually use their own photos for that scene with the book. Also including a paragraph about how this miniseries again is a great preview of how Charlie will be as Sauron in season 2 and beyond of "Rings of Power". But again so happy with this and the did so well with it.
I cried multiple times first when Alice finally got away from Dylan and reunited with June and Twig. Then again when she finally met her little brother Charlie!!! It hit close to home for me as my little brother is one of my best friends and I can't imagine my life without him in it. So happy the siblings got that and Alice finally knows the truth about everything including her sister Gemma, and having Sally and John as well as Candy and Twig in her life now (and she kept the dog, but if I'm remembering right I think John died in the book so I'm glad they changed that). Then I cried again after June died and that letter she left her making amends and how much she did love her. I lost one of my grandmothers earlier this year so it brought that back for me too, and my other one is sickly with dementia too, so it was emotional.
That brings me to the part the show didn't have at the end and how it took another time jump revealing that Alice became an author and one of her books was about her past and to help other survivors of domestic violence. The show's ending alluded to it and that she was going to do it but the book actually revealed it and that she stayed close with her brother and the Morgans too.
Then for us Charlie Vickers fans the LOTR show "The Rings of Power" picked the perfect actor to play Sauron as we got another flashback here too and how could easily switch from normal to violent like that, and almost having two personalities. Also getting the reveal that Agnes was the one who killed Clem not Alice. Then Alice revealed to her brother Charlie that their dad wasn't always bad and had good in him, especially with his artist abilities. It seemed so similar to something Galadriel's daughter Celebrian would say in one of our fics where Sauron/Halbrand is her biological father. I'm really looking forward to seeing Charlie fully as Sauron now and this felt like a great preview for it.
Really hope they submit this show for some awards. It being from Australia it'll mostly be there but could get some Emmy noms, especially for their international Emmy Awards which is separate from the main US one.
