Co-workers in the article blamed security for not finding her sooner, yet...
They noticed a foul smell from her cubicle's location. No one bothered to visit her until Tuesday. So then they blamed remote work for reducing the number of people working on that floor... who walked past that location daily.

This is a picture of me from over 50 years ago, I am sitting on the right side of the picture. I was a student at the Germaine school of photography. We were on break and went up on the roof to have a smoke. I graduated in 1974 and found my way to City Island to open Focal Point Gallery now celebrating 50 years. Please come Saturday, September 7th 1-4 to Focal Point Gallery and help me celebrate with a new exhibition of my photography, with refreshments and music by the Daysof Wild. The celebration will continue at The City Island Gallery 278 from 5-8 where I will also have my work hanging. Let's party and have fun. Photograph by Ellen Cefaratti.

Why wait for the big moments? Celebrate every small win and watch your motivation soar! 🎉 Life’s too short to put joy on hold—feel the damn happiness now! #SmallWins #CelebrateEveryStep #HaveACupOfJohanny
We live in a world that glorifies the big wins—landing that dream job, finishing a marathon, publishing a bestseller. And while those moments are incredible, waiting for them to feel joy is a trap. Trust me, I’ve been there, especially in my journey as an author. But here’s the truth: it’s the small wins, the little victories along the way, that truly keep us moving forward. The Power of Small…

Becoming Your Actions: The Power of Doing Over Saying
Have you ever made a promise you didn't intend to keep or do you find yourself constantly apologising for something you hoped to get done? Words and actions can be different but with a little help, we can all be better at closing the gap.
“You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do.” – Carl Jung. This powerful quote encapsulates a fundamental truth about personal integrity and the importance of actions over words. In a world where promises are often made casually, Jung’s words serve as a stark reminder that our true identity is reflected in our actions, not our intentions. Many of us are guilty of making grand plans and…

You may remember me sharing in July 2022 how delighted I was that my painting of Castlerigg Stone Circle (near Keswick in the Lake District) had been featured in the Society of All Artists (SupportingAllArtists) quarterly magazine "Paint & Create" and how mine was first in the list of members' artworks!
I thanked Michelle Ewen and Christian Ewen of Write on Time Ltd and Kat Jane Massey of Www.instagram.com/visibilityqueenkat and Sue France of Sue France,Creative Connecting in Cheshire for their support of my work to increase my visibility as an artist.
Yesterday, that story continued for me…
I went to an art studio time of an art society I joined last autumn. We paint together for three hours most weeks – well, I paint in the lobby, as I’ve been told by my blood cancer consultant to still be very careful re Covid. But each week, at about half time, I don a mask and gloves and go round the main room to see what the other artists are creating and have a bit of a chat…. social like.
Anyway, when I got to a lovely society member who paints for pleasure rather than sales, I couldn’t resist asking: “Do you know who painted that picture you’re using as a reference…?” She hadn’t realised it was me.
I was ok about it. I know many artists wouldn’t have been. But it wasn’t being painted for profit and I think it’s important for artists to be as supportive of each other as we can be. And having your art used as an artist’s reference is a pretty sincere compliment.
In the same spirit, I was allowed to take a photo of my colleague's painting (still to be completed. I think it’s lovely.
To hear more about my art and life, and to maybe win a giveaway, please keep in touch by signing up at: https://lymphomalass253520856.wordpress.com/
To own my original painting (£75 unframed and including UK postage) please just private message me!
Thanks again!
