has said she "doesnt understand the point of listening to music"

duchess thinks thats the most insane thing about her

but then she discovered Lana del rey and said "nvm"

her side of the dorm is very cluttered, while duchess' side is neat and organized

keeps at least one knife on her at all times (except thats canon)

she had the hardest time out of all the wonderlandians learning to speak normal english rather than riddlish

daring once bought her a bunch of white roses

they spent a date just painting them red together

she hates the color green

she always goes to sleep at the exact same time every night

You’re sitting with your foot propped up on a pillow, at the foot of the crow’s nest. Bandages wrap around your sprained ankle, with a silver ice pack freezing your skin.

Luffy is screaming at Sanji for food, as usual, since it’s almost noon and he has to snack at least every three hours. You lick your lips, waiting for the sudden impact you know is coming.

Smack!

Luffy collides into your side, sending the ice pack flying. His arms are wrapped around your waist, his face already smushed against yours.

“Kitty!” He shouts directly against your cheek. You strain away from his megaphone of a voice, squirming in his elastic arms.

“Stop it,” you complain, swatting him away. He groans, slumping against you with his head buried in your hair. He sniffs, once.

“Sorry,” he says, muffled.

You wriggle out from under him, his arms loosely draped over you like ship’s ropes. He’s got his black coat on, with his scarlet cardigan left open over his sculpted torso.

He snaps his hands back to normal. It’s like reeling in a measuring tape.

“Sanji’s making salmon today,” he swipes at his nose, squatting next to you with his dusty sandals planted firmly on the deck’s wooden slats. He’s scanning the horizon, sky reflected in his dark chocolate eyes. He smiles back down at you, squeezing them shut.

“Let’s make snacks!” He lifts you up with strong arms, carrying you bridal style toward the kitchen. He squats down again, still cradling you, as he picks up the ice pack he’d scattered earlier. He stands, his arms under your shoulders and knees, and kisses the tip of your nose. You hide your face in his neck, and sniff.

Cedar.

His sandals slap against the deck as he carries you across. You let your head fall on his shoulder, your eyes slipping closed. He’s carrying you oh so gently, slower than any rubber-wrapped speed shot he usually does.

He side-steps you into the room, softly closing the door behind him. You lift up, expecting to see the kitchen, but you’re surprised.

Luffy’s quarters.

“Captain?” You ask, staring up at him, the sharp underside of his jawline above you. He smiles down at you, sparkling eyes heavy.

He sets you down on the mattress, ass first.

“Wanna taste,” he says, sliding his hands up your legs. He squeezes at your thighs, smiling brightly. The lantern suspended from the ceiling sways above him, rocking in time with the subtle movement of the ship. “S’okay?”

We don’t have to be mutuals you just have to know eah.

The last time I had a beta reader for a fic it was for a different fandom and we just became besties and got nothing done so I’m open to different ways of doing it.

The easiest way would just be through email but some people aren’t comfortable with that. My digital foot print is really easy to track so I don’t really give a shit about people knowing my email. 

Idk how much you can do through tumblr dm’s but I’m fine to send stuff thru there. Or any social media app.

And I honestly don’t know how writing on ao3 works. I use a different app for writing because I think you can only save drafts on ao3 for a month? Idk but I had a friend send me a link to their ao3 draft once and I beta read it so I could probably figure that out.

And if there’s another way that idk I could send the work like that.

The beta reading is mostly for flow/plot. Because I can just put it through grammarly. I mean if you want to edit spelling/grammar feel free.

I have a lot of the plot figured out but the parts that I haven’t decided I’ll probably chose your opinion.

Idk if u did before but Kitty X Cerise?🥺

This is such a cute pairing actually! And I’ve never written anything for them before!

They bicker so much about every little thing that for the first two months of their relationship, all their friends thought they hated each other, until they got caught by Cedar in the enchanted forest, and well, the whole school found out

Lots of threats from their respective friend groups (You’d expect Raven and Lizzie to be exceptionally brutal about it, but Kitty disappears every time Cedar comes into the room and when Bunny arrives, Cerise always tugs her hood extra tight over her head, they refuse to talk about it and shudder every time someone asks)

Eventually when Cerise decides to talk about her family on her own terms and takes her hood off, Kitty breaks down into tears and keeps apologizing every time they talk for a week

Kitty thinks it’s adorable how her girlfriend can tear into a piece of meat like it’s nobody’s business

Every time someone makes fun of Cerise’s more wolfish traits that she can’t hide they go to class the next morning with neon green hair, or chicken legs or with a clown outfit on (the only thing they had in their closet) and that’s not even touching on teachers who force her to do presentations in front of the whole class, or that one time someone set up a trap for hunting in the enchanted forest and Carmin got caught in it, they vanished without a trace before even Ashlynn Ella could get her hands on them, not that they’d be missed, they were so annoying and bigoted, and their grades weren’t particularly high, so headmaster Grimm didn’t even bother looking into it

Lots and lots of scratching behind ears on both parts, they melt into a puddle every time

This happens at least once a week during lunch:

Ramona: what the hell are you doing with Hood? She’s so boring and quiet, I seriously don’t get it, are you clinically insane?? (This is all in sisterly good fun)

Kitty: first of all, I’m from wonderland, we’re all insane, but have no clinics for it, and second of all, if you ever talk about my girlfriend like that again, I’ll make what happened to Hedge look like a joke (this is a game to them, the three of them are going to Kitty’s room to laugh their asses off after this)

i totally forgot about it but then i spontaneously remembered it existed, so have this thing made almost a year ago 😭😭😭

Raven’s been acting strange lately…

It all started when Raven became tired with Headmaster Grimm preaching about her destiny, and she decided to concede and follow through with her own. 

The rebels all felt some sort of betrayed when Raven accepted taking up her destiny. Cerise and Maddie both understood her situation, considering that she confided in them the most about it, others like Hunter and Cedar were confused and upset. 

Ashlynn and Briar would’ve been happy just like Apple, but considering their current standing as Rebels, they were probably the most hurt. 

At the announcement of Raven finally following in the footsteps of her mother, the Evil Queen, Headmaster Grimm set up for the Legacy Day retry to take place in three weeks time. 

Over the course of the next five days after Raven’s announcement, the Rebels begin noticing shifts in Raven's behaviour. She’s a lot calmer now, seemingly content with the choice she made. 

Her movements are much more fleeting, it’s almost as if she never exists in certain spots. 

Her voice is lighter, but carries a strange weight with it, almost as if she wants to suffocate someone with her words. 

Purple gradually became blue. 

Black gradually became white. 

Raven seemed to back into herself, not interacting with anyone outside of a select few, mainly Apple, Maddie and Headmaster Grimm. 

People say they see a strange aura around Raven, following her around and covering her head to toe in a mist, as if shrouding something…

…or someone. 

When interacting with Apple, she whispered promises into the young princesses' impressionable ears, promising her that her ‘happily ever after’ will finally come true. 

She consistently promises Headmaster Grimm that she will follow through with her ‘true destiny’, making the man puff his chest out in triumph. 

Only a select few could see the face she makes when she turns her back on him, a look of pure disdain makes way for a sinister grin that could make Kitty Cheshire jealous. 

Cupid recalls seeing Raven disappear into the basement of the school, and she tailed after her, only to realise that something was definitely amiss when she approached the door at the very bottom of the steps, only to see a glowing, icy blue seal keeping the door locked shut. It was circular, and had a smaller circle in the middle, between the two circles were strange signs, mostly including skulls or other symbols of death. 

Concerning.

But one thing they definitely weren’t expecting to come out of this investigation, was the legitimacy of the Storybook of Legends. 

Which was fake, mind you. 

The Rebels were all shocked at the fake, and as they look back on it now, they wondered how no one caught on to being tricked by Headmaster Grimm. 

Distraught at the idea of losing 100 years of life to a fake book, Briar dropped it down a mysterious well, never to be seen again. 

The next day, Apple had flown into a tizzy at the declaration that the Storybook of Legends has gone missing, worrying over her destiny as story. 

Raven comforted her in her room. “Just because the book is gone, doesn’t mean you still can’t achieve destiny. And I’ll be here to help, so don't worry.” 

Apple was oblivious to the sinister look in Raven’s eyes. 

As the new date for Legacy Day approaches, Headmaster Grimm is at his wits end trying to find the Storybook of Legends, but Raven reassures him, saying, “I can help find the book. I have a knack for this sort of magic.” 

Using her powers, she creates a compass, which points anywhere but North. “This compass can lead you directly to the Storybook of Legends.” Raven explained. She didn’t hand over the compass, instead handing it to Apple. 

Seeing as how Headmaster Grimm couldn’t go out on his own to get it, and he didn’t necessarily trust Raven with the book just yet, Apple was the best person to send on the hunt for the book. 

The strangest thing was that Apple didn’t even need to leave the school premises. 

The book was hidden in Cerise’s room, Cerise’s room. Headmaster Grimm exclaimed that it couldn’t have been the red-hooded girl, but instead could have been the Evil Queen.

Not only was the book hidden under tile and magic seal, but Cerise and Cedar’s room also used to be the room of the Evil Queen. 

With that mystery solved, the Storybook of Legends was returned to its case, and things became even weirder since then. 

Apple’s eyes were significantly more light blue, almost white. Her actions became seemingly irrational, and she stuck to Raven like superglue. 

The new Legacy Day was only in just a few more days when everything went downhill. 

Cerise and Cedar, joined by all the other Rebels and some Royals, finally confronted Raven about her odd behaviour. 

That was when they realised the truth too late. 

Raven— no… the Lady Bone Demon smiled, with a glint of evil in her eye. The room dropped in temperature, and Ramona and Cerise’s instincts were screaming at them to get out. 

Too bad it was too late. 

The Lady Bone Demon infiltrated their minds, the school around them lost colour, becoming a deep blue, almost black colour, with everything outlined in icy blue. It all looked like it was sketched on paper. 

It all glitched between the truth, and the lie. 

“Your true destinies are set in stone. Nothing you do can make you avoid it.” The Lady Bone Demon spoke, her voice was kind but her words were not. 

It all flew by so fast. 

They all managed to escape the school, but when they turned back to see if the Lady Bone Demon had followed them, they saw screaming students running out of the school as well. 

It was only a minute before Ever After High was covered, bottom to top, in ice. Some students were unfortunate to not make it out in time. 

“See? There is no escape. This world's destiny cannot be undone!” The Lady Bone Demon declared, showing her true form as a Skeleton Demon. “Soon, this world and my previous world will be perfected! A clean slate!” 

The only ones to properly escape the hostile takeover on the entire town were Cerise, Maddie, Cedar, Apple, Briar, Ashlynn and Dexter. 

They were all taken in by Raven’s Father, the Good King, after the entire situation was explained. To say he was mad was an understatement. 

And if he was mad, the Evil Queen was irate.

They all did copious amounts of research at the suggestion of Dexter to see if there was any way to defeat the Lady Bone Demon. 

And there was only one. 

In the very back corner of the library, gathering dust and cobwebs, as none other but a story called ‘Journey to the West’, the Lady Bone Demon in the story was easily defeated by a celestial primate known as Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. 

That was one question answered, but another remained…

You stretched out from under your blankets and snuggled back under the covers, taking in the faint scent of vanilla and orange coming from the other areas of the log cabin that overlooked the lake out in your backyard, urging your sore and aching body out of bed, gingerly putting your weight onto your legs, and walking slowly out of the bedroom and into the kitchen where you found your Alpha making waffles for you and himself. He looked over and smiled when he saw your sleeping form enter the kitchen. “Good morning, Kitty. How did you sleep?” He asked as he pulled a waffle fresh from the iron and put it on a plate for you.

“I slept okay. I feel sore and achy though.” You told him as you slid into a chair and accepted the plate bearing a waffle that was heavily topped with whipped cream, butter, and syrup. You ate the waffle and sniffed around, smelling a candle that had been lit in the kitchen area. “You like that, baby? It’s vanilla, fig, and orange. I put another candle in the bathroom for when we take a bath together after you’ve eaten then we can cuddle on the couch. I lit the fireplace with tea tree, vanilla, and orange peel over some applewood logs that I chopped earlier this year.” He told you and you smiled as you were still sleepy. He chuckled, walking over to kiss your head before he finished making waffles with the remaining batter. You nodded and kicked your legs as you finished your waffle. Shouta gave you another one and you ate it happily. He smiled and put waffles into plastic bags, putting a couple bags into the fridge and the rest into the freezer. You finished your second waffle and slid off the chair, walking slowly around the counter and hugging Shouta from behind.

“Bath now please.” You asked as you bonked your head against his back gently. He chuckled and set the dishes to soak, turning around in your arms, picking you up with ease and carrying you to the bathroom. The scent changed as you got closer to the bathroom but not by much. The vanilla scent was still there but smells of cedar and sandalwood emitted from the bathroom. You smiled and let him set you on the counter as he filled the bathtub with water. Your eyes looked at the flames of the candle as they flickered until Shouta kissed your cheek and helped you into the warm water with you behind him. You relaxed into him and let yourself soak in the warmth of the water. Shouta dropped in a vanilla, sage, orange with a hint of sandalwood that complimented the candle that was still burning on the counter. You shifted and leaned into his chest as all the scents swirled around you, making you feel all warm, cozy, and safe.

The two of you soaked in the bathtub until the fizzling and scent of the bath bomb had faded and the water had run cold. You didn’t want to get out because you liked the feeling of the water over your skin. You moved of your Alpha’s lap to stay in the water longer but he got out and pulled a fluffy towel out of the dryer and held it open for you. You huffed and got out of the water hesitantly and walked into the towel. Your eyes widened when you felt how soft and warm it was. You nuzzled into the fabric and purred. “Let’s get you changed into something warm, alright?” He spoke and guided you out of the bathroom and into the bedroom where he let you lay on the bed, still being all cozy and warm as he picked out some clothes for you, laying them next to you and leaving the room for a moment to get you changed.

Once you gave him a signal that you had changed into the clothes. He walked into the bedroom and carried you out to the living room where he had set up a makeshift den with his computer set up with a movie and the fireplace within view. You let out a purr and he set you down, watching you go into the den and get cozy under your blankets, taking in the tea tree, vanilla, applewood, and orange peel scent, wafting through the house and making you sink further into your feeling of warmth and safety.

You rolled over and buried your face into a pillow where you could smell your Alpha’s scent, still faint but still here in the fabric of the pillowcase, reminding you of the past year that you both had, spending each season here in the log cabin. You loved looking out the glass sliding doors at the surrounding forest and lake that was currently blanketed in a wonderful sheet of white as the world around you had been plunged into a deep and cold winter. You remembered each season being with your Alpha as his wolf-like instincts took over each time his rut came and he would ask you for assistance with his rut, which you agreed to every time. You shifted again in the den so you were able to see the screen of his laptop as the movie began. Shouta held you close and cuddled you as the movie played. “Thank you for all the care today, Shouta.” You told him. “You’re welcome, my love.” He told you and smiled as he put an arm around you, holding you close as the movie played.
