Started Mysterious Lotus Casebook and it was not as dark as I thought it would be, which I liked. The plot is interesting and I found Cheng Yi and Joseph Zeng's characters pretty cute.

I love the cameos of the main leads of The Killer Is Also Romantic in Butterflied Lover so much! They know what we wanna see and it brings me back to the feels. They're so cute with their lil daughter 🥺

Mu Nan and Wang Yue's sibling dynamic is the best thing about Beauty of Resilience. Wang Yue was the only person who've seen him as her own family. Hence, Mu Nan's undying loyalty to Wang Yue/Wei Zhi that never changes. He put her first above everything else and wants to protect her. Hearing Mu Nan calling her 'Jie Jie' makes my heart melt 🥺❤️.

Story of Kunning Palace is doing a great adaptation of the novel so far. Although I've only read a few chapters with English translation but the scenes felt like it came straight out of the book, exactly how I imagined it. The actors were perfect for their roles.

My Journey To You better have Season 2. I don't care how long it takes, be it 5 years or more. Gong Ziyu needs his A Yun!

We need to see Gong Zi Yu and Yun Weishan's wedding! We need to see Shangguang Qian and Shangjue's kid and their reunion! We need to see Shangguang Qian's revenge, who's behind all this, Yun Weishan finding out who killed her sister, Wufeng being brought down, freedom of the assasins, etc.

Warm On A Cold Night | Ep.1-4

Although ep 1 to 3 has pretty good fight scenes, I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue. When the main leads were not in the same frame, it was kinda boring.

But Ep 4 was the episode that I started to like this show! They talk more about the case and mystery which was interesting. Not to mention, the main leads' chemistry was more evident now~

DongFang QingCang has one of the best, if not the best villain origin story I've seen. Most typical villains happen because of their loved ones being killed and or decide to take revenge for their beloved.

However, DFQC wasn't a villain because of love, but instead, the lack of love.

He believed that his father did not love him (anymore) and his emotions were stripped away from him. He was forced to kill his own father and take the throne. Hence, making him a villain without a choice.
