I’m curious but ever since you dropped your Harrison hcs I’ve been thinking about what he would be like when he gets older. Are there any hcs/info you have for him??

I have like two paths I could see my version of older Harrison going down. Let's say roughly age 17 or so, he either swears off using absolutely any of his natural magical ability and keeps his illusion/slide of hand tricks utterly private for the most part. The first being a desperate attempt to regain his parents trust, the second with the card tricks being more of getting shamed out of being open with his peers with his hobbies. I wouldn't wanna see him kept on this path and I often pair it with some major character development story. (In my head atleast, I don't think I'd ever be able to use a fanfiction writing website or have the energy to regularly update one or anything like that. I would definitely maybe write short fics on Tumblr one day.. maybe)

The other option being he actually never stopped working on his talents like that and has steadily gotten so much better. (At the start of the show he accidentally sets David on fire, in much later episodes he's able to make rings of flame, already MAJORR improvement!!) He works on his other abilities, making things levitate ect.

So when they start having these hiccups, often small physical items or spells bursting out of him during strong feelings (leading to panic and embarrassment only making it worse.) Harrison feels like it's a total setback. That his work so far didn't mean anything, he has no idea where his powers come from and as they change he apparently has no idea how to control them after all. Alot of old doubts, and new ones emerge. "Maybe it would've been better to have never had them in the first place."

I like to think after awhile he regains this hold over it, and it was just a sign of like. His magic going through puberty/hj and it turns out stronger in the end.

Other older Harrison HCs include he's definitely a swiftie and jumps up on his bed lipsyncing doing a fucking Matilda as shit floats everywhere.

His formal vest and top hat get switched out for a casual vest and beanie hat (constant hat hair) wouldn't it be so funny if he had a top hat shaped pin on it/hj

His like signature little thing I love putting on his clothes and drawing him with is the ace of spades. Small charms n shit I love it.

His frienemy thing with Nerris as she matures turns more into friend leaning. (Bc like, their dynamic is not 50/50 she is nearly always the one coming at or for HIM 😭 and it's coming from a very childish reasoning- which is okay. Bc she's a child.) So as she gets older and grows out of her issues that caused them to not get along they become closer.

Mostly due to them both being much better friends with Preston and spending time with each other via him.

But since they're older and Preston fills alot of his time with the multiple hobbies he has and Nerris has other friends to hangout with, Harrison is still left on his own sometimes. He goes through these bits of bad mental health and "everyone hates me" thoughts but doesn't really let anyone know about it.

I have this OC Quincy, technically not a camp camp oc I'm actually embarrassed sometimes to add him into things bc he doesn't fit the vibe of cc what so ever but the angst he can make is so good 2 me

He's this demon with magical know-how but no power of hisown. I like to think of Harrison (who notoriously throughout the show wants company.) Kinda ignores all the red flags and "I've always said don't judge a book by it's cover"s his way into accidentally getting manipulated by him. But also getting incredibly helpful magic lessons out of it too before it comes to a head.

i hope we get more canon ages in the coming episodes bc i really wanna know if i have completely the wrong idea about it. i do not understand kids well and only have the designs and the cartoonish writing to go off of, which doesn’t necessarily depict children super realistically, but i personally believe these ages:

max: 10 (canon, written on his file in parents day and also said in one of the bloopers i think)

neil: 11 (canon, stated in the press kit)

nikki: 10 (canon, stated in the press kit)

preston, harrison and nerris: i would say 11-12, probably all around the same age.(headcanon/guess)

nurf: anywhere from like 10-13??? (hc/guess)

space kid and dolph: around 7-8ish? both of them are very tiny compared to the other campers and also act more innocent and naive than the rest. i might just be saying this because any younger than that is basically a baby to me, but again idk how children work. (hc/guess)

ered: anywhere from like 14-16, she definitely seems older than the other campers and is the tallest. she has dyed hair and is into extreme sports, and has sort of an older sister vibe at times. also, the other kids’ admiration of her would make sense because teens seem so grown up to younger kids. i could definitely see her as a sophomore in high school. (hc/guess)

bonus round: i fully believe sasha the flowerscout is 11 because when she’s talking about her anti-aging routine and max says she’s 10, she says “that’s what you think” and i just think her being a single year older than that is the kind of thing cc would do.

of the main 3 Nikki is my fav bcuz feral children are relatable (shes also second overall fave), but of all the campers its def Nerris simply bcuz pure unadulterated fun plus kin is great!!

if i knew of elf ears back as a babb and had a cape younger me woulda 100% been running around in the woods looking like Nerris (my bff had a cloak and was known for wearing a cloak at school which is rad as hell idk why i never added it to my wardrobe)

ive never played DnD (im afraid of purists) but i did larp with my brother and cousin all the time (remember when parents would be like "its warm, go outside" and you just did? /hj) and after we were "too old" and had other things to do i started rp'ing by myself in a minecraft PE world that i made into some weird form of Equestria so i 100% relate to Nerris role playing with their stuffed animals

(also side note to info dump a moment: Ered is a close third for fave Camp Campbell, i cant choose a fave Flower Scout, and Snake is my fave Woodscout. Dolph is my least fave simply on principal but actual least fave goes to Jermy bcuz of my OCD and emetophobia making it impossible to watch any scene hes in. my fave episode is Parents Day bcuz im basic but Cookin Cookies is my mums fave tho she hasnt seen all of CC)

Nerris has really, really nice parents. They respect her needs and support her wants, sure, but sometimes they can be a little dumb. Camp Camp - Fairly Odd Parents AU

I’m just wondering if anyone has thought of this AU yet? If not, I’d like to initiate it.

1. Max, with his miserable little life, is given a Fairy God Parent, David, who takes the form of a large, reddish dog when in incognito mode.

2. Max of course abuses the magic at his command, that is, if it doesn’t break any of “The Rules”. 

3. Daniel is the “Anti-David”.

4. Gwen is assigned to another child, Nikki, who uses magic almost exclusively to get herself into dangerous situations. She takes the form of a Cat.

5. Jen is the Anti-Gwen, and Daniel’s second-in-command.

6. The ‘head fairy’ in Fairy World is Cameron Campbell, an honest, caring, thoughtful and all-round stand-up person who always puts others before himself. He is one with the magic of the universe and makes sure children are looked after. If he needs to go incognito, he turns into a Stag.

7. The “Anti-Cameron” is the one we’re familiar with on the show.

8. Harrison and Nerris are a pair of trainee fairies who must occasionally tag along with David and Max to learn from one of the most dedicated and renowned fairies, Red-Boi himself, on what it takes to be a good godparent. Harrison prefers to turn into a rabbit, and Nerris prefers a beaver.

9. Nurf is assigned a fairy of his own, one who, while not too bright, is famous for his pure nature and innate talent with magic. This fairy’s name; Neil Armstrong. He takes the form of a Capuchin monkey.

10. Neil is a Pixie who often uses his own magic to try and bring order to the spontaneity and randomness of Fairy magic.

11. The Wood-Scouts are a faction of Fairy Hunters, led by Edward Pikeman, who are former God-Children rallied together by the common cause of knowing about the existence of Fairies but not being believed.

12. The Flower-Scouts, Sasha, Erin and Tabii Priss, are a trio of foster-sisters whose guardian is a neglectful, alcoholic, drug-addicted, cantankerous sow of a woman; Penelope Priss. The trio are given a single fairy between them, named Kevin. Kevin turns into their pet pony.

13. Bonquisha is the head of the Fairy’s military. She’s not a very busy person, but enjoys the times she gets to beat the crap out of Daniel. She prefers turning into a Hippopotamus.

14. Dolph is a lonely little boy who has been assigned the fairy; Preston Goodplay. Dolph uses his fairy mostly to find muses for his artistic ventures. Preston takes the form of a silver fox when in incognito mode.

15. Ered Miller doesn’t have any Fairy God Parents as she already has two loving fathers. These 2 fathers however are part of a super secret organisation who know about the existence of magic and seek to find the source of it.

16. Jasper was David’s previous God child, but died tragically at the hands of Daniel.

17. Quartermaster is the Keeper of The Rules, and only he can scrape new rules into the book with his hook. Well, another can do it, but we don’t speak of Quartersister.

Please feel free to add onto this anything you think would be fitting. I’d love to illustrate this AU, but unfortunately my artistic skill is practically non-existent so you’ll need to make due with my words.
